Iran: Hamas Would Win Any Conflict with Israel

The head of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards, Yahya Rahim Safavi, said Wednesday that Hamas-led Palestinians would be victorious in any confrontation with Israel under premier-elect Ehud Olmert.

“(If) they confront one another, with the Muslims’ support for the revolutionary Palestinians, great victories will definitely be for the Palestinians.”

“Today the Iranians are hand-in-hand with the Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis, and Palestinians initiating a new trend that will free Palestine and will see the defeat of the Zionists and the U.S.’s greater Middle East plan,” Savafi said.

Event 1 – A Sense of False Security Followed by a Jihad!

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For WHEN THEY shall say, Peace and SAFETY; THEN sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, AS TRAVAIL upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that THAT DAY should overtake you as a thief.

The writer of this verse, the Apostle Paul, had just concluded a discourse on “THAT DAY,” outlining one of the later events occurring during the time of “TRAVAIL” as follows:

I Thessalonians 4:16,17 – For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Paul was a Hebrew of the Hebrews, a Pharisee of the Pharisees, being circumcised on the eighth day of his birth as a descendant of Benjamin, and having studied at the feet of the great Jewish sage Gamaliel.

To put it bluntly, he was a dyed-in-the-wool Jew by birth and training. And yet, those who fought against his teachings with the most fury and hatred were not the Gentiles, but his own brethren by natural birth.

Paul loved his fellow countrymen with a great passion, being willing to be accursed himself if it would lead

to their salvation.

Romans 9:1-3 – I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, [2] That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. [3] For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

He was acutely aware that God had concluded the nation of Israel to be in a state of unbelief. So, the two “THEY’S” and the one “THEM” in I Thessalonians 5:3, he uses to refer primarily to the nation of Israel, even though it could also be used to refer to all in unbelief at “THAT DAY.”

Romans 11:25,32 – For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of

the Gentiles be come in. [32] For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The Greek word translated as “SAFETY,” according to every scholar I have consulted, literally means “SECURITY,” which has been the cry of every Israeli Prime Minister since 1948, issued loudly as “we must have PEACE WITH SECURITY.” The current actions now planned to be carried out by the newly elected Israeli Government under the “forced” unilateral withdrawal plan of Ariel Sharon, and the completion of the Security Barrier in 2007, will cause Israelis to believe they have put in place a way to preserve SECURITY by the internal safeguards around a newly created Palestinian state within the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

However, it will be a false hope and a false peace of short duration, and will be broken by the sudden destruction that marks the beginning of the final 1260 days before Armageddon, the last part of a period of great travail in tribulation pains that Israel must endure, and cannot escape from experiencing – “then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Israel will suddenly be viciously attacked from without by nine Islamic nations, and from within by the newly formed Hamas Palestinian state. Israel will be driven into its war contingency plan evacuation area in a manner of days, which is the Negev wilderness south of Beersheba. Israel shall not escape the terrible physiological and physiological pressures of being trapped in the Negev for 1260 days, but there it will turn to belief in its Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, and will once again call upon its God as their God, and He will again

call them His children.

Revelation 12:6,17 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

There have been many wars in the history of mankind, most of which have been fought for spoil, territory, pride, domination, prestige, honor, survival, and a whole bevy of other causes generally linked under the common cause of national and personal interest. After each one of these conflicts bitterness and hatred existed for some time, but gradually even those human emotions faded, and man went on to the next conflict of personal and national interest. However, this war in which we are now involved is a war that, from an Islamic perspective, is a simple one – It is believers versus infidels, Islam versus non-believers, the followers of Allah versus followers of any other Go

They deny that he came as a flesh and blood man who was the living Son of God, which is the spirit of antichrist that has been with us from the time of the New Testament writings, but will soon be personified by one man, antichrist.

I John 5:5,6 –Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? [6] This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

The spirit of antichrist will be personified visibly in a single man as “the man of sin,” “the son of perdition.”

II Thessalonians 2:3,4 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The time is coming, which I believe is relatively near, that the followers of the spirit of antichrist will unite behind a single man who will be the personification of the spirit of antichrist, the man the Bible identifies as “the eleventh horn” of Daniel 7 and, at times, the “beast” in Revelation.

The spirit of antichrist war, which begins some three and one half years before the final battle of Armageddon, will be ended by Christ at Armageddon, when he returns visibly with his saints at that time. It is the time identified as his Second Advent, and is described in Revelation 19:11-21.

Revelation 19:11-21 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

[14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Increasing Earthquake Activity in Western North America!

During the tribulation period, which I do not believe is in the far distant future, the world’s gigantic tectonic plate system, which consists of many thousands of miles of faults that extend down through the earth’s crust, making contact with great underground lakes of red hot magma, will be unleashed on the surface of planet earth. There will be three and one half years of unbelievable horror on mankind like the world has never seen.

Precisely when it will begin, no one can predict the exact date, but Isaiah describes it in graphic detail, with Daniel and Matthew foretelling the effect it will have on all mankind. In the last few months of the three and one-half years, the vials of God’s wrath will be poured out on the earth.

Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Daniel 12:1 – And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Matthew 24:21,22 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened,

there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Revelation 15:6 to 16:2 – And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

[7] And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full

of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. [8] And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. [1] And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

[2] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

There was to be a noticeable increase in earthquake activity before the great earthquake of Revelation 6:12.

During the last 10 days there has been an increase in the number of quakes reported in California, off the coasts of Oregon, Washington, and California,

and in Alaska. The earthquake activity, as in does in all areas, runs in swarms that come and go, but this year we seem to be having less time lapse between the swarms. I believe it is likely that the next two years will see a major earthquake in California, an off shore earthquake generated tsunami along part of the shoreline from Oregon to British Colombia, and a major volcanic eruption in Alaska’s Island chain.

The Juan de Fuca (Fuqa) tectonic plate is a part of the massive Pacific Tectonic fault boundary that rings the vast Pacific Ocean, which causes the boundary to be properly labeled as the “Ring of Fire” because of the great number of volcanoes it produces. The Juan de Fuca plate is just a small section of it. Its character and the area it affects are as follows:

The boundary between the Pacific and Juan de Fuca Plates is marked by a broad submarine mountain chain about 500 kilometers long, known as the Juan de Fuca Ridge. Young volcanoes, lava flows, and hot springs were discovered in a broad valley less than 8 kilometers wide along the crest of the ridge in the 1970’s. The ocean floor is spreading apart and forming new ocean crust along this valley or “rift” as hot magma from the Earth’s interior is injected into the ridge and erupted at its top.

In the Pacific Northwest, the Juan de Fuca Plate plunges beneath the

North American Plate. As the denser plate of oceanic crust is forced deep into the Earth’s interior bene ath the continent

al plate, a process known as subduction, it encounters high temperatures and pressures that partially melt solid rock. Some of this newly formed magma rises toward the Earth’s surface to erupt, forming a chain of volcanoes (the Cascade Range) above the subduction zone.

“The Jordan Rift Valley is merely a small part of the thousands of fault lines that are interconnected across the earth, but the first, and the last, of the many earthquakes occurring during the tribulation period, will occur along it, one with 1260 days to go until Armageddon, and the last one will end the battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (The first in Revelation).
Revelation 16:16-18 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. [18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great (The last in Revelation).

Daniel 12:4 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

As geologists have run “to and fro” across the earth our knowledge has been greatly increased as to the method that God has, and does, use in reshaping the earth’s crust and interior. We now know that the outer crust of the earth’s surface actually floats on an underlying layer of molten rock known as magma. When magma bursts forth onto the earth’s surface it is called lava. These plates of floating crust (called tectonic plates) are gigantic in size. The largest, the Pacific Plate, consists of virtually the entire Pacific Ocean seafloor.

The plates come together along their edges, and these zones of contact are called faults.

There are several types of faults that exist along tectonic plate borders, but it is not the purpose of this discourse to teach structural geology, so I will merely identify all these faults as cracks or flaws in the earth’s surface, which reach far down into a worldwide sea of magma beneath the tectonic plate crust (See Figure 3 under Birth Pangs). The dashed lines on Figure 3 are the major faults or “cracks” that exist between the plates.

The arrows indicate the general movement of the plates as they drift ever so slowly over the underlying sea of magma in response to its convective currents. As you can see in Figure 3, the Jordan Valley rift fault is merely a very small part of the endless linkage of fault lines that weave across the surface of the globe. Another bit of the “to and fro” knowledge that has increased for man “in the end times” is discovery of the fact that some 95 percent or the world’s earthquakes, and about 90 percent of all volcanic eruptions occur along the fault lines shown on Figure 3. Man has learned that the earthquakes occurring along these fault lines are primarily the result of sudden readjustment movements between the plate boundaries, such as the well publicized San Andreas Fault in California.”

Unless something miraculous happens, Israel is headed for a “forced” false peace based on unilateral withdrawal, completion of the security barrier to fence in the Palestinian terrorists, and rigid enforcement at its entrances, with the barrier becoming the permanent border. It will take a miracle for Hamas to change its stance toward Israel to the point of compromising on the points that Israel and the United States have asked for a negotiated peace. I assure you, if Hamas were to do so, it would only be to lull Israel into a false sense of security.

To the sounds of Allahu Akbar [God is greatest], the new Hamas cabinet on Tuesday won the confidence of the Palestinian Legislative Council after a two-day session that was held here and in Gaza City through video conference.

Immediately after the vote, several Hamas legislators beg an shouting the famous Islamic battle cry of Allahu Akbar, saying this was

an historical moment for the Palestinians.

Holding high a copy of the Koran, legislator Hamed Bitawi shouted: “The Koran is our constitution, Mohammed is our prophet, jihad [holy war] is our path and dying for the sake of Allah is our biggest wish.” His remark drew a thunderous applause from all his Hamas colleagues.

Following the session, PLC Speaker Abdel Aziz Dweik announced that

the new cabinet would be sworn in on after Abbas returns from the Arab summit meeting in Sudan on Wednesday.

Palestinian Prime Minister-designate Ismail Haniyeh lashed out at acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s plan to withdraw unilaterally from some areas in the West Bank, saying the Palestinians would not accept the future borders of a Palestinian state as defined by Israel.

Incoming Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar declared on Sunday, “Even if the U.S. gave us all its money in return for recognizing Israel and giving up one inch of Palestine, we would never do so.” (Jerusalem Post)

Since early in January 2001, I have maintained consistently that if the Palestinians did not stop Hamas, Fatah, al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades, and Islamic Jihad from their attacks against Israel, then a “forced” peace, dictated solely by Israelis, with no input by the Palestinians, would be jammed down the throats of the Palestinians on Israel’s terms.

Hamas is now the Palestinian government, and they have sworn an oath they will never recognize Israel as a nation,

and will continue the armed struggle against them.

The only type of peace negotiation terms they will accept are: all land within the 1967 borders must be returned to them, all Palestinian refugees

must be allowed to return, and Jerusalem must be the capital of the new Palestinian state. In return they will let Israel live peaceable alongside them, at least as long as the Hamas hudna (truce) is allowed to last.

I have always believed the only time of “relative” peace that could ever be reached in Israel would be a false peace maintained by a barrier wall of separation, the IDF, the IAF, and constant vigilance, in other words, a “forced” peace.

It is now apparent that Kadima has won the election and will ask Labor to join them to form a new government. In order to reach a majority of 61 in the Knesset, they will have to ask at least one other party to join them, and most likely they will ask two others to insure a solid majority.

According to the Kadima leader, who will be Prime Minister of the new government, if the Palestinians do not s

top the terrorist groups, and are not willing to compromise from the rigid demands of the Hamas terror government, the Israelis will create the new borders on their terms, and slap the Palestinians and the terror groups inside the security barrier, which will be the permanent border between them.

Olmert: Israel Entering a New Chapter

Ehud Olmert, the apparent winner of Tuesday’s election in Israel, according to all exit polls, said in his victory speech that the Israeli election marked a new chapter in Israeli history and that he planned to draw the country’s final borders in the coming years.

Olmert, head of the Kadima Party, did not explicity claim victory, dedicating his speech instead to outlining his governing plans.

He said he was ready for new peace talks and was prepared to make painful compromises.

“In the coming period, we will move to set the final borders of the state of Israel, a Jewish state with a Jewish majority,” he said. “We will try to achieve this in an agreement with the Palestinians.”

Addressing Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, Olmert said: “We are prepared to compromise, give up parts of our beloved land of Israel, remove, painfully, Jews who live there, to allow you the conditions to achieve your hopes and to live in a state in peace and quiet.”

“The time has come for the Palestinians … to relate to the existence of the state of Israel, to accept only part of their dream, to stop terror, to accept democracy and accept compromise

and peace with us. We are prepared for this.

We want this,” he said.

Olmert said he would not wait for the Palestinians indefinitely.

“It is time for the Palestinians to change their ethos, to accept compromise as soon as possible.

If they manage to do this soon, we will sit and work out a plan. If not, Israel will take control of its own fate, and in consensus among our people and with the agreement of the world and US President George Bush, we will act. The time has come to act,” he said.

Olmert also praised Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, the founder of the Kadima Party who suffered a devastating January 4 stroke.

“Now, my heart is at Hadassah Ein Kerem, with the man who began it all.

Prime Minster Ariel Sharon, our prime minister. The man who had the courage, the will, the stubbornness, to see things in a different way and make a change.”

“Sharon changed his path, offered an alternative.

“Sharon should have been here to see his dream come true, but his body failed him. Thank you , Arik, myself, all MKs, Kadima members, voters, the Jewish people – I send you a warm hug and also a hug to Omri and Gilad and their families, who are by his bed night and day.”

Olmert to Appont Cabinet-Negotiating Committee

Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was set to set up a committee on Wednesday to lead negotiations with other parties in order to attempt to reach an agreement on a feasible coalition for the government.

The leader of the largest party is traditionally asked first to try to form a ruling coalition.

Whether Olmert chooses to form a government with dovish parties or more hardline factions could determine his ability to carry out his plan.

Olmert could form a coalition with Labor, Meretz and the pensioners’ party that advocates pensions for retirees, or he could add the haredi Shas or United Torah Judaism parties to his government.
