Iran Continues to Supply Longer Range Rockets to Hezbollah!

Every time the U.S. or Israel kills 10 Islamic terrorists, there are 20 more raised up by the spirit of Jihad among their friends and relatives. I assure you Islam is not going to run out of followers, and we are not going to ever kill all the guerilla style terrorists in the Middle East or anywhere. All this mess and confusion in the Middle East was predicted by the Old and New Testament prophets, and it is not going away, nor are we going to defeat

it.

Please do

not brand me as an unpatriotic bleeding heart with a defeatist attitude that was opposed to Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and does not support our troops.

I have not, nor can I ever be legitimately judged guilty of such disloyalty. I was in favor of going into Iraq, blowing Hades out of them, capturing Saddam Hussein, getting the heck out, and leaving the Kurds, Sunnis, Shiites, and associated other clans to kill each other off. Saddam was the only man who was ruthless enough to hold them together by their horrific fear of him. Many thought George Bush Senior should have taken over Iraq the first time, but I was hoping he would get rid of Saddam Hussein and then get out.

The international community, including the U.S., kept crying “we must not upset the stability of the Middle East,” but I have always believed that is what we should do.

If Islam is fighting Islam, they don’t have time to fight us or Israel. If we had gone in with the intent of getting rid of Saddam Hussein with his henchmen, and let it be publicly known we would immediately pull our troops out once we had captured them, his enemies would have given them up to us.

Then a juicy civil war would have broken out for control of the country by the three major factions, and I have little doubt the bordering countries of Syria, Turkey, and Iran would have jumped in the fray to get a piece of the oil pie. The world of Islam would have been left in shambles, and the western world could have lain in a hammock watching the lightning bugs come out at night. Please don’t accuse me of hind casting – check my Updates for the last five years and see if that is not what I advocated was the best thing to do in the Middle East.

We have not defeated the Islamic terrorist groups, we have united them against us, and moderates are swinging over to them daily.

However, in all honesty, it really doesn’t matter what we did, are doing, and shall do in the Middle East, because it is heading down the trail God laid out in the Old and New Testaments, and nothing is going to be able to change the prophecies the Holy Spirit inspired men to write from Genesis to Revelation. It doesn’t matter who controls Congress after the 2006 election, or whether McCain, Clinton, Alley Opp, or Popeye is the next President elected in 2008, because this mess in the Middle East is headed down the trail toward Armageddon. I really feel sorry for those who will be in office after 2008. They may well end up being the officials who held the last watch of the New Testament Age of the Gentiles.

Jeremiah 30:7 – Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Romans 11:25-27 – For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Islam is circling Israel with long range rockets that will be unleashed in great numbers ahead of a Jihad army, which I believe is likely to attack in mass from the north at some point in time between 2008 and 2012.

Hezbollah Becomes Strategic Threat; Rockets Can Strike Tel Aviv

Hezbollah, an Islamic terrorist organization closely allied with Iran, long a security nuisance on the northern border, now poses a strategic threat to Israel.

Sunday’s rocket strike at a military base near Tzefat was the deepest a rocket fired from southern Lebanon has ever penetrated Israel.

The attack, which Vice Prime Minister Shimon Peres termed “coincidental,” may have been a deliberate effort by Hezbollah to showcase its new strategic weapons.

Those weapons, according to an article in Ha-aretz, are now able to strike virtually everywhere in Israel from the Galilee to the northern Negev.

With such range, a border skirmish with Hezbollah could potentially prompt an attack on Tel Aviv, or any location in Israel’s densely populated, industrial heartland.

Though not highly accurate, Hezbollah’s rockets, supplied by Iran, carry 600 kilograms of explosives capable of causing severe damage to any target. Since the rockets are propelled by solid fuel, they are easily mobile. That would make it difficult for Israel to remove the threat, in the event of a wider conflict.

Israel would almost certainly need to take Hezbollah’ s rocket threat into account, when con

sidering the possibility of military engagement against Iran or Syria.

Four senior Hamas Dirty Birds in Israel may soon be declared as illegal aliens.

Once they become illegal aliens in Israel, they can come here without a passport by wading across the Rio Grande from Mexico, and then live happily ever after in the good ole USA under our amnesty program.

They can’t have it both ways in Israel, but they can here.

Why don’t we get Israel to build a security wall along our southern border?

I have heard that, because of this great injustice to Hamas officials, who would love to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, Hamas may appeal to the high court of a country they say does not exist.

What a crazy mixed up world! How I yearn for the June nights in my early teens, when I would sit on the curb in front of my Grandparent’s house at 1111 State Street in West Batesville, watching the lightning bugs, and talking with Norma Danner until Grandmother called me to come in for bed at 9 o’clock. Now, here I am after two wars, age 74, with several degrees, retired from the NSA-USAF, pastor of Dardanelle MBC, trying to analyze what a bunch of crazy squirrels are going to do next in the Middle East, and hoping that Jesus, who sat on that curb in me and lives in me forever, will come soon to end all this mess man has created.

Israel gives Jerusalem Hamas Members Ultimatum to Quit Hamas

Interior Minister Ronnie Baron has given four senior Hamas members from east Jerusalem 30 days to quit all PA institutions or he would revoke their permanent residency status.

Letters detailing the ultimatum were sent to Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Hamas-led PA cabinet Khaled Abu Arafa and three PLC members: Mahmoud Abu-Tir, Mohammad Tutah and Ahmad Adun.

Without a permanent residency status, the four would be considered illegal aliens.

Israel says that according to interim peace accords, the Palestinians are not allowed to conduct political activity in Jerusalem.

After the April 17 suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, a senior government official said Israel was considering such a move. Then Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert had decided to take steps to revoke the residency of the four high-profile Hamas members.

The decision prompted a visit by Arab MKs to the Hamas members, and a threat to take the issue to the High Court of Justice.

One senior Israeli official noted the irony that Hamas officials, who do not recognize Israel, were threatening to petition an Israeli court.

The official said the decision to revoke Jerusalem residency, which means that those affected would no longer be able to receive National Insurance Institute payments and would be barred from entering the capital, was taken to send a signal to Hamas leaders.

“They can’t have it both ways,” he said. “If they are part of a government that doesn’t renounce terrorism, recognize Israel or accept previous agreements, there will be a price to pay.”

He acknowledged that this one measure wouldn’t bring Hamas to its knees, but said “it could make life for them more difficult, and it will show them that there are personal consequences for their actions.”

Quite a Blow to Being Ready for a Conventional Non-Nuclear War!

I have tried for 30 years to warn whoever would listen that the danger facing Israel is not a nuclear war, but a conventional war in which very sophisticated non-nuclear weaponry of many types would be employed.

Israel has more than enough nuclear, chemical, and biological warheads to blow the Middle East Islamic nations off the face of the earth, and the leading Islamic countries are well aware of it. But they also know that Israel would never launch against them if they did not first launch one at her.

I assure that the coming Middle East war will not be nuclear, but conventional.

Israel has been downgrading its conventional war weaponry for several years, which is a terrible mistake. The major advantage held by their Islamic enemies is primarily numbers of Islamic bodies that can rush to the south against them in a conventional war. The advantage the Arabs have is not the quality of their conventional weaponry, but the quantity of such equipment it possesses.

I am hoping that Israel will not pass the current proposal to cut back its military budget for this year in its final reading of the bill.

2006 Budget Passes with Defense Cut

The 2006 budget was approved on Tuesday afternoon by 18 government ministers, slashing funds allotted to defense by NIS 500 million.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz had hotly protested the cut, and seven Labor ministers abstained from the vote.

Peretz likened the defense cut to “slamming the brakes on a full-speed train.”

During the meeting, Labor ministers presented a number of alternatives to cutting the defense budget. One of the alternatives was to raise the cap on government spending, which was set by law during Binyamin Netanyahu’s days as finance minister and remained the same despite a budget surplus.

The second reading of budget is set for Sunday and a third reading will take place on Wednesday.

“I can’t work under the pressure of the cut,” said Peretz at the reportedly tense meeting – to which Education Minister Haim Ramon of Kadima replied, “If you want to prevent the cut in your ministry, we can delay the minimum wage increase.” The minimum wage increase was central to Peretz’s election platform.

On Monday, defense officials slammed the Finance Ministry, warning that planned cuts to the defense budget would impair the defense establishment’s ability to protect the State of Israel.

The defense minister’s associates said on Tuesday morning that Olmert had trapped Peretz, attacking the prime minister’s intention to cut about NIS 500 million from the Defense Ministry’s budget. “Olmert is trying to take as much credit as possible,” they said.

“The way in which these cuts are being demanded is unheard of,” Amir Peretz had told a Labor faction meeting in the Knesset Monday morning. “Cutting the budget by this amount will weaken the state of Israel.”

“Any attempt to impose unexpected cuts on the defense budget, motivated by political constraints while ignoring security needs, will push the defense establishment into a state of crisis,” officials said.

During the meeting Peretz said that attempts by politicians to connect the dire state of welfare services in Israel to the large defense budget were purely politically motivated.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Dan Halutz said in internal military meetings on Monday that the budget cuts would force the IDF to minimize reserve training in addition to possibly decreasing Naval, IAF and ground operations and training.

The cuts, he warned, would also harm the defense industries which would be forced to dismiss hundreds, if not thousands of workers after the IDF cancelled contracts.

Atomic War in Israel – Yes or No?

One of the main reasons I wrote three books on prophecy in the late seventies and early eighties was to establish a case advocated by teachers of the pre-World War II era. It was, simply stated, that man would not destroy the earth with his weaponry, but rather that God would destroy the earth by the use of this own power.

I am certain that the horrifying changes in the topography of Israel, as well as the terrifying destruction of the antichrist’s forces at Armageddon, are by the awesome power of God, not atomic, chemical, or biological weapons of man. The lifting of the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem, the breaking up of Jerusalem into three sections, the splitting of the Mount of Olives, and the consuming of the flesh, tongues, and eyes of the antichrist’s men are natural phenomena unleashed by God, not by man. All the Scriptures dealing with these phenomena unleashed by God are covered in our Birth Pang Archives and the 36 chapters of the book “Tectonic Chaos,” which you may download from our Prophecy Update Archives.

There are many advocates of a great atomic, chemical, and biological war in Israel when the antichrist attacks 1260 days before Armageddon.

It might happen at the time of Armageddon, but the initial attack will start what amounts to a non-nuclear, non-chemical, and non-biological war. So why am I so confident and outspoken about this being the case?

Israel has more than 200 extremely well concealed missile silos in the Negev between Beersheba and the Gulf of Aqabah.

It has more than 300 nuclear, chemical, and biological warheads to mount on Jericho missiles.

The Jericho is a very accurate missile, and can hit a target in any Islamic country from Morocco to Pakistan and from Turkey to Yemen.

Israel has an excellent anti-missile defense to protect its array of silos, warheads, and missiles.

It is able to pick up an incoming enemy missile launched from Syria before it reaches it maximum altitude.

So why do I believe this array of WMD will not be unleashed by Israel when it is attacked? Because the Israeli War Contingency Plan of Israel directs that WMD will never be launched against a foreign nation unless they are first launched against Israel.

So how do I know the Islamic countries will not launch WMD in their initial attack? All of them are well aware of what is listed in (1) through (5)! The Soviet Union, when it existed, shared Israeli intelligence information with Syria, which it collected over a long period of time from its hundreds of spy satellites it launched from pads between Moscow and the White Sea, and on the eastern side of the Aral Sea. Syria, in turn, has shared it with most of the other Islamic countries around Israel. Only a leader possessed of rank insanity would ever launch WMD first against Israel, which is why I was so relieved when Saddam Hussein was taken out of the way.

Many believe the United States will quickly rush to the aid of Israel, and, as the world’s greatest power, will immediately deliver her from any kind of attack she can’t handle. There are two problems with this idea:

The United States believes Israel can defeat any Islamic attack on its own without any help from us.

After all, Israel has easily done so in four previous conflicts in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973.

This will be a lightning Jihad, and better coordinated than any of the previous wars, and this time Israel will have a Palestinian state attacking it from within, while the other Islamic nations come in from outside its borders. It will probably last less than a couple of weeks, and Jerusalem is likely to fall in less than a week.

By the time we decide they must have our help it will be too late because Arab forces will have occupied most of the land from Dan to Beersheba. We watched Israel recover from the initial advances of Syria and Egypt in the 1973 War, and drive them back into their own territory. The U.S. will believe the Israelis will do the same thing in the coming Jihad, but when they see the Arab forces attacking Jerusalem it will be too late to intervene.

By this time it would take months, as

it did in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Freedom Iraq, to get sufficient American troops on the ground to do any good.

What was the character of the past three wars? They were all very short in duration, and they all ended abruptly in a truce. That will be the case in this war.

The United States knows that the Negev is the place where Israel will flee. When we believe they are safely in the Negev, we will be more than willing to accept a truce to give us time to think about what to do, and Israel will remain trapped in the Negev for some three and one-half years.

Testing Rocket Range Potential for a Future Jihad from the North?

One of the reasons for the most recent volley of Katyusha rockets is, of course, what the title of the article in the Jerusalem Newswire by Stan Goodenough suggests.

I also believe it may be a prelude to the planning of the launch zone ranges for a future Jihad attack against Israel at a point in time between 2008 and 2012. Please read the article and our Prophecy Update Number 74D from our Archives that follows it, which was issued in July of 2002.

Hizb’allah Testing Rocket Reach?

The Iranian-backed, Syrian-supported Hizb’allah organization is suspected of firing a volley of Katyusha rockets into Israel Sunday, hitting an IDF base near the Galilee town of Safed (Tsfat).

While hundreds of Katyusha’s have been fired from northern Lebanon over the past two decades, Sunday’s strike was the furthest south ever hit.

At least two IDF soldiers were wounded in the attack, one of them moderately, the other lightly. Israel’s response thus far has been limited to firing off a warning that it holds the Lebanese government responsible for any strikes emanating from its territory.

The attack came five days after Hizb’allah chief Hassan Nasrallah publicly reiterated an earlier boast: that his group has the ability to shower all of northern Israel with the more than 12,000 missiles currently deployed in southern Lebanon.

Military analysts watching the growing tension between Iran on the one hand and Israel and the United States on the other believe Tehran could unleash an all-out Hizb’allah strike against Israel in the event of an attack on the Iranian nuclear program.

Sunday’s strike is believed by some to be a Hizb’allah test firing to determine rocket range in readiness for what may lie ahead.

While exactly what is in Hizb’allah’s arsenal is unclear, Nasrallah hinted that many more rockets were in his hands, and that more areas than just those in northern Israel were within range.

“When I say we have more than 12,000 rockets I don’t mean 13,000 rockets.”

“I can say that northern occupied Palestine lies under the firing line of [our] rockets. As to what is further than northern occupied Palestine, this will not be revealed.

… [but] if today I go on television to tell the residents of the [kibbutzim and towns] in northern occupied Palestine that they should go down to their [bomb] shelters within two hours, they will all be in Tel Aviv within no time.”

Intelligence agencies in recent years have reported on the group’s acquisition of an unknown number of non-conventional warheads shipped from Iran via the airport in Damascus.

Tel Aviv within Range of New Hezbollah Rocket

Iran has equipped the Lebanese-based radical Islamic group Hezbollah with long-range rockets capable of hitting targets up to 200 kilometers away, putting all of Israel’s major urban centers within striking distance.

The solid-fuel rockets lack an independent guidance system and their accuracy is questionable but they can still cause considerable damage.

According to intelligence estimates, the rockets are meant to strike non-specific areas, such as towns and cities, and carry a warhead estimated to weigh 600 kilograms. This latest development doubles the range of weapons previously in Hezbollah’s arsenal.

THE INTERNATIONAL JUSTIFICATION BLAME GAME!

WE DID IT BECAUSE THEY ATTACKED US FIRST!

The age of so-called civilized warfare really began in the era of the Napoleonic Wars of 1803 to 1815. And, with the passage of time, it has become increasingly important for the two countries involved in a conflict to convince the rest of the world the other is the culprit who started the conflict. Every time Hitler, in his early conquests, marched his troops into countries to take them over in bloodless battles, he always had an excuse to justify his attacks. Finally, when he came to his planned conquest of the Poles, he could not really find what even remotely seemed like a justifiable reason. So he manufactured one. He had his own SS troops dress up in Polish uniforms and attack a German border outpost. Then the SS put dead Polish bodies in the immediate vicinity of the outpost and had photographers and reporters in to verify their story. Using this farce as justification for his actions, he attacked Poland in September of 1939, and World War II began.

Some interesting developments, involving Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and the terrorist groups, particularly Hizbollah, have been occurring along the northern border of Israel with Lebanon. I do not believe what I am now observing in that area will lead to an immediate war, but I suspect it may well do so in the not too distant future. And, if I am correct in my assumptions, it could give Syria justification for attack

ing Israel in the eyes of most of the international world.

President Bush has demanded that Syria cut it’s backing for the Hizbollah terrorists that operate along the southern border of Lebanon, and that it expel the other Palestinian terrorist groups it currently has operating out of Syria.

Damascus now hosts 10 Palestinian terrorist groups, which include the extremist groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. In response to the demands of President Bush, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said: “Syria supports the Lebanese national resistance, including Hizbollah, in resisting Israeli occupation and liberating land.” Concerning the demand that the other terrorist groups in Syria be removed, he said: “Their work is limited to political and media activities, and their offices in Damascus provide political representation to the 400,000 Palestinians who look to attain their rights and return to their land.” Israel has repeatedly warned Syria that if Hizbollah continued its border attacks on Israeli civilians and troops on its northern border, they would start hitting targets in Syria in retaliation. Bashar has responded by saying that Syria would defend itself against any Israeli action.

He said: “If the Israeli government involves itself in waging aggression on the territory of Syria, then Syria will defend itself.”

So far Israel’s policy against recent Hizbollah attacks has shown remarkable restraint, probably because of not wanting to open a second front of conflict to the one they now have going in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Even though seven Israeli soldiers were killed by a Hizbollah terrorist team that penetrated the border fence, Israel has held back from violent retaliation. And now Bashar al-Assad has joined with Iran to provide heavier rockets for the Hizbollah arsenal of terror. Israeli officials have watched Hizbollah deploy thousands of new missiles and rockets that are aimed at Israeli civilian population centers.

Once Israel has completed its long buffer zone fence around the West Bank, and beefed up the one it already has around the Gaza Strip, it will become confident it has finally achieved the impossible, it will say it has “peace and safety.” And all the time that it was tied up internally in so doing, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon will have been slowly slipping troops in position for a lightning Jihad from the north. Israel’s preoccupation with its internal safety is going to cause them to slack off in their gaze on what is going on externally.

During the time that Alexander’s great empire had been divided into four sections, the Syrian section (Seleucid) held Israel some of the time, and the Egyptian section (Ptolemy) held it when they took it from the Syrians.

Israel was, at times, a part of the Egyptian section, at times, a part of the Syrian section, and at times, a part of both. Daniel lists a very long series of battles between the king of the north (Syria) and the king of the South (Egypt). Most of Daniel’s prophecies about these two kingdoms were fulfilled by their many kings from Daniel 11:4 through 35, but there remains one war yet to be fulfilled, and I believe it is the aforementioned Jihad that begins in Daniel 11:40. Since Israel was once part of the section occupied by Ptolemy, I am persuaded that Israel is the king of the south and Syria is the king of the north in Daniel 11:40-45.

I suspect that after Israel has lulled itself into a false sense of peace and safety by its military might, it will have gained even more confidence in its great ability to take care of any Islamic intrusion. It may well be that Syria will get Hizbollah to kick up a storm of activity along the northern border by launching a massive missile and rocket attack across the border into the populations of northern Israel. Syria will do this knowing that Israel will cross the border into Lebanon and hit Syrian targets from the air. But this time Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran will be waiting for it, and six other Islamic nations will be poised to supply logistical support. The Islamic nations can cry out while they head south: “We were attacked first and are justified in this response to the Israeli invasion of our sovereign territory.” This will cause a hesitation by the western world at first and, by the time it wakes up, Jerusalem will have fallen, and Israel will be fleeing into the Negev.

First comes a time when Israel actually believes it can maintain “peace and safety.” Then a time of false “peace and safety” sets in for a brief period.

Then a border incident! Then a response! Then a Jihad, and the last 1260 days of

the tribulation period are under way.

Southeast Asia Tectonic Plate Adjustments 2003-2006

In a little more than two years, the death toll from four single seismic related events along the lengthy tectonic plate structure across Iran, Pakistan, and southeastern Asia since 2003, has reached a count of almost 300,000 in just a little over two years – 31,000 in Iran in 2003, 181,000 in southeast Asia in 2004, 75,000 in Pakistan in 2005, and 4,500 and still counting this week in Indonesia in 2006.

The southeastern extension of this fault structure that stretches south out of Burma through the Andaman Sea, then southeast through the Strait of Malacca to the Java Sea, then east through the Flores Sea to New Guinea and Tonga, has always been subject to high frequencies of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and other associated tectonic plate activity. However, it has been unusually active in the last couple of years.

For quite a while the word “isostasy” did not appear in dictionaries because it was geological jargon that only a geologist would use among associates in the discipline. My computer spelling check system still puts a red line under it to let me know

it does not exist.

During the tsunami catastrophe one of the many pastors that called me heard me use “isostasy” in our conversation, so I defined it for him, but advised him he would not find it in any dictionary. Just to make sure I checked in a new dictionary, “The New Merriam-Webster Dictionary,” and lo

and behold, there it was big as life. It gave the following definition: “A general equilibrium in the earth’s crust maintained by the gravity induced flow of deep rock.” I first heard the word used in a Physical Geology class I had at Arkansas Tech University in the seventies and, by the time I had graduated and taken post graduate geological courses, I became convinced that many prophetically directed Bible verses indicated the isostasy of the earth was going to be put in a state of equilibrium confusion by the weight shifting of water and land through earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis, which would be occurring like never before during the latter portion of the tribulation period.

You will find ample evidence of this in my last book, “Birth Pangs from the Bottomless Pit,” and on this Web Site in the last three Prophecy Updates in our Archives, which will refer you to many others in our Birth Pang and Prophecy Update Archives. I have been teaching this for 30 years, and my last book was written more than 20 years ago, so I am not a Johnnie-come-lately, who has suddenly decided to use the tsunami to bring a new idea to the prophetic stew of our age.

I have taught in “Tectonic Chaos,” “Tribulation Triad,” “The Bottomless Pit,” and “Birth Pangs from the Bottomless Pit” that, according to Scripture, the great tribulation period was going to be dominated by great earthquakes and humongous volcanic eruptions along the thousands of miles of tectonic plate boundaries, and tsunamis that would rake the coastlines of all nations. I am certain the horrific events described vividly by all the prophets from Amos, Joel, and Isaiah in the Old Testament to John’s closing book of Revelation in the New Testament, are visions of geologically generated phenomena. I am also certain that God, not man with his weapons of mass destruction, will produce the bulk of the destruction by

his own power released through his own creation, the earth itself.

In the geological history of earth, there have been periods of unrest in the tectonic plate structure prior to an isostasy rebalancing of the outer crust of the earth. Some of these periods have been accompanied by a dramatic shifting, lifting, and lowering of the crust in what have been called “mountain building” periods or cycles. I have associated this sort of adjustment with the following Scriptures.

Matthew 24:21,22 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Malachi 4:1-3 – For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

[2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

[3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

Any geologist will tell you that the prediction of earthquakes is far from being a science, and I readily accept that fact.

Geologists do know there is an action and reaction process going on along the plate boundaries, but it is so very vast and complicated that no human really understands precisely what effect massive slippage on one side of the earth will eventually have on the opposite side, and along the worldwide plate boundaries connecting both sides.

However, I must say that I strongly suspect we are the verge of a massive worldwide adjustment. I have long been convinced a very valid part of what is known as “the time of Jacob’s trouble” included a massive isostasy readjustment in the crust of the earth, probably beginning and ending in the Jordan River Valley with Revelation 6:12 and 16:18, and I presented my case for it in 1976 in the book “Tectonic Chaos.” I have never been certain of precisely when it will begin, but I have been convinced for more than 30 years that the event would eventually occur.

Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Revelation 16:18 – And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an

earthquake, and so great.

Jeremiah 30:7 – Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Daniel 12:1 – And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Zechariah 13:9 – And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Acts 2:19-21 – And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: [21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 11:25-27 – For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Isaiah 5:14 – Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
