It is Wise to Love Israel!

The Associated Press Article, which follows our narrative, is typical of the prejudice and hatred of the Jews among the majority of the world’s population. I hope you have never gleaned for a second from our web site articles or any books I have written that I could ever be a part of that majority. I love Israel to the depth of my soul.

I am dreading the time when they come under the heaviest horror they have ever known as a nation during the time of Jacob’s Trouble. However, I am looking forward to being on this earth when Israel is saved out of tribulation horror at Armageddon by their Messiah, particularly after they begin to rule over all the nations of this earth as the chosen people of God.

Post-Armageddon Jews (Spiritually Alive) – Matthew 23:39

The New Testament persecution of the Jewish people began in earnest in 70 AD, some 40 years after they rejected their Messiah. And, varying from horrific to mild at different times and in different countries, it is continuing today. They have been the most persecuted people on the surface of this earth, and will continue in this role until their Messiah returns at His Second Advent.

II Corinthians 3:14-18 – But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. Thousands Protest across Mideast against Gaza Offensive

By the Associated Press

June 30, 2006

Thousands of protesters in several Muslim countries took to the streets Friday in response to the Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

In Egypt, protesters rallied in one of the country’s main mosques, with many calling on Arab governments to take action to protect the Palestinians.

Hundreds of security forces in riot gear lined up alongside Cairo’s Al-Azhar Mosque during the protest, which followed weekly prayers.

They made no attempt to crack down on the demonstration, however, as police commanders said they wanted to avoid a confrontation even though the protest was organized by one of the government’s top rivals, the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Rulers of Arab countries, start jihad (holy war). Allah Akbar (God is great),” shouted a group of men in the mosque, while nearby several dozen women worshippers chanted, “Keep our country free and tell the (Israeli) ambassador to leave. We will not be afraid, we will not back down, we will not be silent.”

A 3-meter-long banner was hung in the 1,000-year-old mosque, proclaiming, “With our blood we protect you, Al-Aqsa,” referring to the Islamic shrine in Jerusalem.

“Hamas, Palestine,” the protesters chanted, “Palestinians, we are with you until to the last moment.”

The crowd remained largely inside the mosque’s courtyard and did not attempt to march outside, where the large security force was gathered.

Demonstrators rally in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Turkey

In a sermon Friday, Lebanon’s most senior Shiite Muslim cleric denounced what he called “the war to annihilate the Palestinian people … by the malicious, racist Jewish army.”

Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah told some 5,000 worshippers at a mosque in southern Beirut that Arabs and Muslims must support “the Palestinian people who are strongly standing fast against western racism that is backing Jewish racism.”

Some 100 Palestinians staged a sit-in outside the U.N. building in downtown Beirut Friday to protest the Israeli incursion into Gaza and demanded world action to protect the Palestinians.

In Jordan, some 400 Palestinian worshippers marched in the streets of Baqaa refugee camp on the outskirts of Amman.

Both rallies ended peacefully.

In Syria, some 500 Palestinians marched the Yarmouk refugee camp after prayers in a Hamas-organized protest.

“Resisting the Zionists is a national and religious duty,” read one banner raised by the protesters as a Hamas member, speaking through a loudspeaker, called for more abductions of Israeli soldiers.

His words were met by chants from the crowd: “We want to return to Palestine,” and “the stone has turned into a Kalashnikov,” in reference to the throwing of rocks at Israeli forces during the first intifada, Arabic for uprising, that began in 1987.

Some 24 children clutching a 10-meter Palestinian flag headed the procession.

“I’m here to protest the killing and destruction of the Palestinian people,” said 32-year-old Maha Jamil.

In Turkey, thousands of angry protesters burned Israeli flags and chanted pro-Hamas slogans.

Hundreds of women, many wearing black chadors or Islamic-style head scarves, carried Palestinian flags and yelled, “Murderer Israel, get out of Palestine!”

A man with a loud speaker warned Israel that it was turning Turkey’s 70 million Muslims against it. “Inshallah (God willing), all of Turkey will show in coming days that it is behind Palestine!” he said.

“Inshallah!” the crowd yelled back.

The protesters briefly chanted, “Islam will rule the world.”

Young men wearing checkered kaffiyeh scarves wrapped around their faces chanted as they burned Israeli flags, and the entire crowd yelled “Greetings to Hamas, continue the resistance!”

Police wearing riot gear surrounded the square, but there were no arrests and no violent incidents.

Sign of the Times in Jerusalem! A March against the Word of God!

June 30, 2006

Before the flood on a worldwide basis, and before the local Sodom and Gomorrah event, the condition of men and women had reached the pre-flood state of Romans 1:24-28. If we have not yet reached it in this current generation, we are certainly very close to doing so.

Romans 1:24-28 – Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

I suspect we are also very close to God fulfilling his promise to mankind, as outlined in Psalm 2 and Luke 21:25-27. There is a price to pay!

Psalm 2:1-5 – Why do the hea

[2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, [3] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. [4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. [5] Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Luke 21:25-27 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. [27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Working to Stop the Gay Pride Event in the Holy Land

By Hillel Fendel

June 19, 2006

With only 7 weeks til the week-long Gay Pride event is set to be held in Jerusalem, the grassroots groups are working furiously to try and stop it, hoping for more cooperation from politicians and rabbis.

A group of women from the Jerusalem area and other cities have banded together, collecting signatures, speaking to politicians, and trying to drum up opposition to the parade from religious leaders.

In addition, Rabbi Yehuda Levin, of the Jews for Morality organization, has arrived for his sixth privately-funded trip to Israel in the past two and a half years, all dedicated to one goal: Stopping the World Pride event from being held in Jerusalem, and in Israel at all.

Tamar Yonah hosted Rabbi Levin and women of the above group on her IsraelNationalRadio.com radio program yesterday. “This thing is not just any march,” Yonah said, “but a weeklong event – and it even includes a Youth Day! I mean, what the heck is that? What do they want with our youth?!”

“They’re not simply demanding equal rights,” Tamar said, “which could be understandable. They’re actually showing pride in their sexual choice, and based on photos from other parades, they dress very scantily and exhibit physical erotic contact on the streets.

Is this what we want on the streets of Jerusalem?”

Rebecca, one of the concerned women who are collecting signatures – not by internet; send email here for information – said that Jerusalem City Councilwoman Mina Fenton has said

that 50,000 signatures would make a big difference.

“It will show the police, for instance, that the event could turn into a major security headache,” she said, “and is just not worth it.”

“I want to make it clear,” Rebecca noted, “that this is not a homophobic issue; if the Mardi Gras, a heterosexual event, were to be held here, we would object with the same vociferousness. The reason is because Jerusalem is the spiritual dimension of the world; it is a spiritual jewel to the world, and we don’t want it tarnished… We want to show that the majority of the people in this city do not want sexuality paraded arounded without modesty or dignity. In addition, homosexuality in particular is not something that we want to see advocated in our holy city.”

Rebecca said that her co-activists are “a large and growing group of women, of all types -secular, hareidi, and religious-Mizrachi; we should not be underestimated.”

Rabbi Levin had some advice for the women, as well as some strong words against the Mayor of Jerusalem:

I want to, first of all, salute you for your work. All eyes are upon your efforts, so remain strong… Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupoliansky [a member of the hareidi-religious community] cannot excuse himself from further efforts merely by having been the first one to sign your petition. The petition has to make it clear that we’re not just asking nicely not to hold the event in Jerusalem, but that if they dare to have it here, we will all of us – 50,000 people – be out on the streets to protest, and that there will be confrontations.”

“I also hope there is no thought of a compromise,” Rabbi Levin said, “such as holding it in Tel Aviv instead. Because their goal is to make this event a kick-off to make Tel Aviv, and by extension, all of Israel, into a world capital of international homosexual tourism. I hope we’re saying that we will not have this anywhere in Israel; it’s offensive anywhere in the Holy Land.”

Another activist woman, Sherry, said, “Last year, the representative of the Vatican said that Jerusalem is a city of humble people, who bow down to G-d, and this is no place for a Pride parade of any kind. I think this is a statement that resonates.”

Rabbi Levin said, “I certainly hope that the Catholic Church will do the right thing and speak out, but I just want to point out that in the end, the authorities are not really interested in our word games and in the relation between pride and humility; the only thing they understand is political power, and they better know that the religious public of Jerusalem will vote for anyone other than a religious representative who is not out there on the streets against this event. This must be your message, and I hope you don’t allow any wiggle room for politicians to make compromises or hold photo-ops that make it seem as if they’re doing something.”

Rabbi Levin had strong words against Chief Rabbi Metzger who pushed off a discussion on the issue in favor of efforts to find a compromise, with the rabbinate consequently taking no action:
“Shame on rabbis who want to find a compromise with a Torah commandment. I’m pleading with you now: remember that politicians will twist you around, and remember that each one in City Hall is a politician first and a religious Jew second…

“Gay Pride parades have been stopped in Warsaw, Tiberias, and Moscow, but Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupoliansky has done precious little about this; he barely mentions anything about it.

You gave him an honor by allowing him to sign first, but you have to tell him that if he doesn’t work with you strongly to stop this openly and publicly, you’ll hold a press conference to cross off his name from the top of the list. Tell him that you don’t need his name at the top, but we rather need people who are doing things!”

But Rabbi Levin saves his strongest criticism for those who claim to be religious, yet promote homosexuality as a legitimate choice.

“They are actively promoting homosexuality among the young, and for this, there can be no forgiveness,” he said in a separate interview.

Rabbi Levin said that some Knesset Members – such as Tzvi Hendel, Effie Eitam, Yitzchak Levy, Nissim Ze’ev, and Benny Elon – “promised me they would lie on the streets if it comes to that.” But there are others, he said, specifically from United Torah Judaism, for whom he had very sharp criticism “for not having their rabbinic leaders light a fire under their tails and tell them not to come back to the Knesset if they can’t stand up. In addition, some of them are dissemblers who don’t tell the whole story to their leaders, because they are more concerned with their political careers.”

Tamar Yonah noted that Mayor Lupoliansky can be faxed at (+9722) 6296014. “If he has thousands of anti-Gay Pride parade faxes on his desk,” the show’s guests agreed, “this will give him the strength to know that people will follow him if he will just lead.”

Before I say anything about this Jerusalem Post article, let me remind you that I was never in favor, after the 1967 war, of Israel giving back one inch of the West Bank or the Gaza Strip.

reverse directory

I have always been in favor of what seems to most as cruel, inconsiderate, unchristian, without mercy, without human compassion, uncaring, unloving, downright mean, and full of hate. I was in favor of Israel running the Palestinians into the Arab countries, out of the country God gave Israel along with instructions to do just that, when he first gave them their orders to go in and possess it.

However, I knew, from biblical history and prophecy given by the same God who knew they would simply not do what he told them to do, that they were not going to do run all the Palestinians out of Israel. And, I also knew that, according to the same God, they would eventually try to give part of the land back to the Palestinians in exchange for peace, which, according to the same God, would in reality be only a brief false peace.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

So, knowing they would not drive out the Palestinians, I began to reason as to how this time of false “Peace and safety,” would come to pass. It became clear when Ariel Sharon announced his “Unilateral Withdrawal Plan.” I have jumped for joy as I watched with glee the building of the Security Barrier, which will give Israel a false sense of security, once Palestinians are surrounded by it. The Unilateral Plan is the only way Israelis living on their side of the barrier can have a misguided sense of “Peace and safety.” The so-called “Realignment Plan” of the current government is basically the same plan, except it entails removing a greater number of Jewish settlements to the Jewish side of the barrier. I doubt if there is anyone more pro-Israel than myself, but until their Messiah returns to rescue them, they have determined their own fate by their unbelief in him. Israel is cruising for a bruising, followed by their Messiah returning to deliver them at his Second Advent.

Daniel 12:1 – And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Jeremiah 30:7 – Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Zechariah 13:9 – And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Malachi 4:1-3 – For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

I said all that to say this: since I have always known that true peace in Israel between Israelis and Palestinians is a myth until Christ comes, and that Israel has to do something to at least get some temporary form of relief, I have, and am, 100 percent in favor of Ariel Sharon’s plan of Unilateral Withdrawal. I agree with the article by Larry Derfner in the Jerusalem Post, which follows.

Rattling The Cage: ‘Sharon’s Way is still the Right Way’

Larry Derfner, THE JERUSALEM POST

June 28, 2006

Now that Palestinian terror has gotten out of hand in Gaza, people like me who strongly favor unilateral Israeli withdrawal – from Gaza and northern Samaria last year and from the West Bank interior in the coming years – owe an accounting.

With the torrent of Kassams on Sderot in recent weeks and now

the killing of two IDF soldiers and the kidnapping of a third, this is obviously not what we hoped or expected the Palestinians to be doing in Gaza 10 months after Israel got out of there.

So was Ariel Sharon’s disengagement a mistake? Is Ehud Olmert’s realignment plan a mistake? Is Israel’ s whole po

?

My answer, based on what’s happened in the last six years instead of just the last few weeks, is no, no and no.

For all the condemnations now being heard over last summer’s pullout from Gaza, I don’t think too many Israelis wish our settlers and soldiers were still in there. Very few Israelis regret that our flag no longer flies in a strip of territory where 9,000 Jews lived alongside 1.4 million Palestinians.

And if they think back, Israelis will remember that the Kassams on Sderot and attacks on IDF soldiers didn’t start only after Israel got out of Gaza. No, the terror in Gaza and from Gaza was much, much worse when Israeli settlers and soldiers were still inside the strip.

The two IDF soldiers killed at Kerem Shalom this week were the first two fatalities caused by Gazan Palestinians during the 10 months since disengagement.

By comparison, Gazan Palestinians killed 148 Israelis and 11 foreigners in the five years between the September 2000 start of the intifada and last September’s completion of the withdrawal, according to Foreign Ministry statistics.

The recent Kassams on Sderot, bad as they’ve been, haven’t killed anyone yet. In the five-year period leading up to disengagement, Kassams fired from Gaza killed five people in Sderot and one other Israeli in a nearby moshav.

REMEMBER THE Cohen children crippled by the attack on their school bus in Kfar Darom? The five hesder yeshiva students shot to death in Atzmona? The back-to-back bombings of APCs that killed 11 soldiers, and the two more who got killed searching for their remains

how do antibiotics affect birth control pills

? Remember pregnant Tali Hatuel and her four children? Remember the two little Ethiopian cousins killed by Kassams while playing outdoors in Sderot?

ALL THESE plus dozens of other tragedies occurred while Israeli soldiers and settlers were dug in the Gaza Strip.

blinklist com levitrai

Stepping back from the bloodshed, anguish and fury of these days, and thinking back over recent years instead, there’s just no other conclusion but that unilateral withdrawal from Gaza has made Israel a vastly more secure country than it was before, not to mention a far more Jewish and democratic country.

To those who complain that “we got nothing in return” for disengagement, I’d say that the far-reaching improvement in our security, along with the removal of 1.4 million Palestinians from our demographics and occupation, are quite a bit more than nothing.

And for those who argue that we should have negotiated the withdrawal with the Palestinians and thereby prevented the Kassams and attacks like the one on Sunday, I’d say the leftists making that claim are grasping at straws, while the Likudniks making it are doing all they can to keep a straight face.

No realistic person believes that Mahmoud Abbas can control terror, or that Hamas would do so for anything less than Israel’s effective surrender.

SO WHERE do we go now? Should we plow ahead with the realignment plan and get ready to hand everything on the far side of the West Bank security barrier to the Palestinians? No. Not for now, at any rate.

Something has changed. Gaza has gotten out of control. While Palestinian terrorists there have become much less of a problem for Israel than they were before disengagement, they’ve become a much bigger problem than Israel should tolerate now that we’ve gone from their midst.

It’s one thing to deal with terror from Gazans under Israeli occupation; it’s another thing to deal with terror from Gazans who aren’t. There’s also a world of difference between Palestinian terror in the face of Israeli determination to hold onto the West Bank, and Palestinian terror in the face of Israeli determination to give up about 90% of the West Bank – and that’s even without a peace process.

GAZA HAS become too violent for Israel to go forward now with the realignment plan. I still support it, but it has to wait until Gaza is basically secured – until safety along the Gazan border

about cytotec

is at least comparable to that along the border with Lebanon, where unilateral withdrawal has proven a great success.

I think this is going to happen, too, because I think the government and the IDF are going to make it happen. In the last few years the IDF has worked wonders, beating down the intifada and forcing Hamas to call a truce, which held for 16 months until the current bloodletting.

Now it’s time for the IDF, especially the Air Force, to really go to work on the terrorists in Gaza. There will no doubt be more innocent Palestinian children killed accidentally – but such tragedies happen in the most justified of wars, and Israel’s war against Gazan terror is absolutely justified.

If there was another way to stop the gunmen and rocket-launchers, the Israeli government would take it, but the Gazans aren’t offering any other way.

after clomid

They know, or should know, that as soon as they leave Israel alone, Israel will leave them alone.

best cialis levitra viagra which

And then, but only then, Israel will also be able to start leaving the West Bank and ending the occupation altogether.

I’m afraid I don’t have much confidence anymore that the Palestinians will do the right thing or the smart thing, but I do have a lot of confidence that the IDF will ultimately force them into it. The new Israeli unilateralism – “Sharon’s way,” as it’s called – is going through a terrible few weeks, but this is a setback, not a defeat.

Israel in 2006 has far too much strength, justice and smarts not to win this fight against the Palestinians. I think it’s only a matter of time.

End Jerusalem Post Article

I believe Israel will win this current fight temporarily by having the barrier in place and functional in 2008. It will be interesting to see what comes to pass between 2008 and 2012.

Phase II of Operation Summer Rains Begins in Northern Gaza

June 29, 2006

As I mentioned in blogs early this week, when Israel actually did go into the Gaza Strip, it

was likely to be done in stages or phases, as they have done in the past under several other operations given code names.

One of the reasons for this is to allow for brief pauses between phases to give Hamas the opportunity to give up the kidnapped solder. I imagine this has partially been done at the suggestion of the United States. The State Department would like to see Hamas back down, and for the operation to end when the soldier is returned.

I think it likely that some of these phases might even be stopped briefly in their very midst, if

it appeared likely that Hamas might return the soldier to Israel. So, to make a long story short, look for brief pauses in Operation Summer Rains. Israel is in no great hurry to retake the Gaza Strip. They are seeking a way to get back their comrade, and to stop the Kassam rocket launches into their territory.

It was super wise to go in, but the old adage, ‘Fools rush in where angels fear to trod,’ as well as, ‘walk softly but carry a big stick,’ would be the best policy as to what they need to do, now that they have gone in.

The worst possible political move that Hamas could make at this time would be to either kill their captive, or whisk him out of Israel’s reach. Goodbye foreign aid and hello to loss of international favoritism from Europe and the Western World, if Hamas happens to make either of these two choices.

IDF Ready for Operation Summer Rains, Phase II

Thursday, June 29, 2006 / 3 Tammuz 5766

Arutz Sheva NationalNewsService.com

Israel Defense Forces were poised to invade northern Gaza early Thursday morning as residents of Beit Lahiyeh and Beit Hanoun were told to leave their homes and ‘stay safe’.

Defense Minister Amir Peretz gave the ‘thumbs up’ on Wednesday for IDF troops to begin the next phase of the incursion into Gaza, code-named “Operation Summer Rains”.

The plan calls for forces to re-enter northern Gaza and capture strategic positions in the area.

There was little resistance from the population.

Two goals for the operation were announced: to rescue Gilad Shalit and to put an end to the constant Kassam rocket attacks against Israel.

Shalit was captured during an attack Sunday morning by Hamas terrorists on an IDF outpost near the Kerem Shalom border crossing with Gaza and Egypt. Two soldiers died and four were wounded in the attack.

Meanwhile, Kassam rockets continued to explode in the western Negev. A total of six rockets were fired at Sderot on Wednesday, with no injuries or damage reported.

Hundreds of Kassam rockets have rained down upon Sderot and other western Negev communities for the past several years.

The Israel Air Force will be dropping flyers over the northern Gaza villages of Beit Lahiyah and Bait Hanoun, telling residents their lives are in danger if they remain near Kassam rocket launch sites.

The flyers warn residents to evacuate their homes since gunfire from land and air will be directed at the populated areas from which the rocket attacks have been launched against Israel.

Senior IDF sources said that residents of the villages are expected to begin leaving their homes by Thursday morning.

IDF artillery also shelled an area near Gaza City on Wednesday evening.

Israeli officials said, however, that the army was not targeting any particular location, but was simply testing its artillery.

No Quick Fixes for the Dead Sea

June 28, 2006

By Zafrir Rinat

“The desert and the barren hills gleam painfully in the sun, around the Dead Sea, and there is no pleasant thing or living creature upon it or about its borders to cheer the eye. It is a scorching, arid, repulsive solitude. A silence broods over the scene that is depressing to the spirits. It makes one think of funerals and death.”

This was Mark Twain’s impression of the Dead Sea’s environs. Twain, who actually enjoyed bathing in the sea itself, would probably be surprised by

cipro 500

the abundance of activity at the place that so deeply depressed him. Nowadays factories, hotels and communities stretch along the sea’s shores.

However, their fate – and that of regional plans – are unclear at the moment. A report in circulation says the region must be developed completely differently than is currently planned. The reason: Unlike as in Twain’s days, dropping water levels are causing the Dead Sea to disappear gradually, and the surrounding area is being destroyed as a result.

Joint Israel-Jordan Red Sea – Dead Sea Project

Sunday, June 18, 2006 / 22 Sivan 5766

Israeli and Jordanian officials are working together on a project to build a canal that would replenish the evaporating Dead Sea with water from the Red

Sea.

Israel’s Minister of National Infrastructures, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, and Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohammed Thafer al-Alen plan to submit a request to the World Bank for funds to carry out a feasibility study for the canal.

As part of the study, Jordanian water professionals will visit Israel to examine wastewater treatment and desalination techniques.

“Israel and Jordan have a common interest in water and water technologies,” said Ben-Eliezer. “I intend to strengthen cooperation in these areas.”

The water level in the Dead Sea has been dropping for decades, plummeting almost 25 meters in the past 20 years. It currently stands at 417 meters below sea level, the lowest spot on earth, with the water level dropping at the alarming rate of a meter each year. If immediate steps are not taken to remedy the situation, the mineral-rich water will drop to 440 meters below sea level by 2025, and another 25 meters by 2050.

Before the 1960’s, according to a report released early this year by the Infrastructure Ministry’s Chief Scientist, Professor Michael Byeth, the drop was due to a lack of rain and a drought in the Dead Sea’ s drainage ba

sin. Since that time, however, the National Water Carrier has redirected water from the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) to the rest of the country, severely reducing the flow to the Dead Sea.

The destruction is also due in great part to the building of the Degania dam on the Jordan River, Syria’s dam on the Yarmukh River and Jordan’s Abdullah Canal. According to Israel’s peace treaty with Jordan, Israel is supposed to divert large amounts of water to Jordan.

Furthermore, evaporation and drying procedures by Israeli and Jordanian chemical extraction plants have now essentially turned the southern basin into an artificial evaporation pool for the Dead Sea Works. The southernmost portion of the sea has already been separated by land from the rest of the sea.

The Red Sea-Dead Sea Canal feasibility study, expected to cost some $15 million, will examine the effects of the project on the ecological balance in the area as well as the impact on the quality of the water itself.

According to the original plan, two billion cubic meters of water per year would have made their way from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea. That plan was scrapped after experts said that amount of seawater would have changed the chemical composition of water in the Dead Sea to an unacceptable level, creating chalk deposits. The plan was subsequently modified to reduce the flow to a maximum of 650 million cubic meters of seawater moving into the Dead Sea instead.

If approved, the entire project is expected to cost $2 billion and will involve the cooperation of the French government, as French water companies are slated to participate.

I am of the opinion God’s quick fix project will begin with Revelation 6:12 at some time between 2008 and 2012, and finish with Revelation 16:18.

Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Revelation 16:16-18 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. [18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Tectonic Chaos – Chapter 11 – Salty Sea to a Fresh Water Lake!

Figure 47 is a general summarization in a pictorial format of what has been presented thus far by a narrative discourse. It shows the area as I believe it will appear during the Millennium.

how do antibiotics affect birth control pills

Please note that the Dead Sea is forecast to become a living sea. At the present time, the Dead Sea is so saturated with salt and other solids that aquatic life forms cannot be supported. Fish that enter the Dead Sea from its tributaries perish shortly after their entrance. For centuries the elevated Arabah Fault to the south of the Dead Sea has prevented the waters of the Jordan River from reaching the Gulf of Aqaba (Eilat). Consequently, by a process of evaporation, more and more salt has been continuously added to the land-locked body of water Zechariah identifies as the former (eastern) Sea (See Archive Birth Pang Figure 47).

Zechariah 14:8 – And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

When God splits the Arabah Fault, during the tribulation period, a natural graben river valley will be formed between the blocking section of the fault structure, and the Jordan’s waters will finally be able to flow from the Dead Sea into the Red Sea by way of the Gulf of Aqaba. This will eventually clean most of the salt out of the Dead Sea, but the shallow northeastern sections will continue to have salt in coastline marsh areas. (See Archive Birth Pang Figures 47 and 48).

Ezekiel 47:6-12 – And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this

? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river. [7] Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. [8] Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. [9] And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. [10] And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many. [11] But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt. [12] And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. (See Archive Birth Pang Figures 47 and 48).

As we begin with verse six, we have just walked eastward a little over a mile (4,000 cubits) from the utter gate of the Jerusalem Millennial Temple, and have arrived at the brink of the diverted Jordan River. During our walk, we passed directly through the graben valley created during the tribulation period when the Mount of Olives divided into two sections, one moving to the north, and one moving to the south. The stream along which we walked developed after the Israelites fled to the Negev by way of the valley of the mountains. The area, through which the entire stream and Jordan River Complex is prophesied to flow, is one of the most fertile soul profiles in Israel. But no matter how fertile and perfectly zoned a soil profile is, unless there is water, no vegetation will spring up.

buy zithromax non-prescription

This has been the problem in this dry, arid region for centuries, but God is going to change all that. Trees, and all types of vegetation, will flourish along the length of these two living water rivers as they flow toward the Mediterranean and Dead Seas, and the remnant of Israel will use this new source of water to irrigate the desert lands of Judah and most of southern Israel.

I am convinced Israel will become the breadbasket of the Middle East. When Judah’s water shed, to the west of the line from Geba to Rimmon, lifts up as a fault block ridge, it will increase subterranean water flow into the spring that still flows under Jerusalem. The lifting along the Tyropoean Valley fault, just behind the Temple Mount Complex, will cause the spring to surface on the Temple platform just north of the Dome of the Rock, and it will flow eastward as a stream for a thousand years.

As westerly winds being the moist Mediterranean air up the gentle slope of the uplifted western Judean watershed block complex, adiabatic cooling of the moist sea air, coupled with convective heating of the plain, will produce frequent periods of orographic and convective precipitation. Some of this rain will drift off the higher central watershed and fall on what are now arid sections of eastern and southern Judea. I also believe that more frontal activity will affect all Israel by increasing precipitation totals.

body bro good levitra stuff up whats yea yea

Increased precipitation will not only water the soil profile directly, but increased occurrence to the west of Jerusalem will keep the water table supplied with ample water to feed Ezekiel’s temple spring continuously through the entire 1000 year reign of Christ. God will so structure the land and the climate that lack of water will no longer be a problem to the east of the line from Geba to Rimmon.

As verse 8 indicates, a part of this fresh water flows into “the east country” (east of the Mount of Olives), then “down (southward) into the desert” (desert of Judah and Arabah), then finally “into the sea” (Dead Sea). Once they are brought forth into the Dead Sea they cause water now there “to be healed” (the salt content is reduced sufficiently to start supporting aquatic life). This is all made possible by the opening of the Arabah Fault into a channel that will allow the Dead Sea to drain most of its salt content into the Red Sea via the Gulf of Aqaba.

Verse 9 gives a clear prophecy that the Jordan River system, from its northern tip to its entry into the Gulf of Aqaba, will be filled with all sorts of aquatic life, this being made possible because the Dead Sea has been healed from its extremely high, life taking, salt content.

Verse 10 reveals that fishermen will fish for a great, exceeding variety of fish along the Dead Sea western shoreline from Engedi to Eneglaim (See Archive Birth Pang Figure 48). This entire shoreline is now barren of all aquatic life forms.

Verse 11 tells us that the northeastern zone of the Dead Sea will exist as a salt marsh because it will be out of the direct fresh water trajectory flowing into the western shoreline (See Archive Birth Pang Figure 48).

Verse 12 is a picture of a vast aggregate of all types of fruit producing trees. The fruit of the trees will be a part of the “meat” supply of the nation of Israel, and various extracts from the trees will be used for medicinal purposes. Ezekiel’s vision of great fertility in the wilderness of Judea is echoed by many of the prophets, in terms similar to those put forward by Isaiah, as he describes the effects the new hydrological changes will produce in the desolate zones of Israel.

Isaiah 35:1,2,6,7 –The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. [2] It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. [6] Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. [7] And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons (jackals), where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

The day is soon coming when God will so geologically reconstruct the topography of his Holy Land by a massive shifting of his tectonic plates, that the deserts and wildernesses of Judah shall be thoroughly irrigated with waters from a reorganized Jordan River tributary system. Where only jackals (dragons) now dwell, men and women will leap for joy like a hart, and Jewish tongues will sing praise to God for his great blessings of fertility. A vast green paradise will exist where only arid wasteland once appeared. One of these changes involved in the many that will be wrought by God, is the opening of a valley in the Arabah Fault block, which will allow the contents of the present Dead Sea to flush through it on the way to the Red Sea’s Gulf of Aqaba. At the present time there are convective currents of magma that flow upward into the lower sections on both sides of the Red Sea, which is causing the sea floor to spread apart at the rate of several centimeters per year. This same lake of magma underlies the entire length of the Jordan Valley, but, at the present time, the faults on both sides of it are locked, or “frozen” in place above the magma, and its upward convective currents are much more passive here than under the Red Sea (See Archive Birth Pang Figures, 23, 24, 25, 27, and 38). However, when the present Red Sea floor spreading of the fault finally reaches its critical limits, at that time the northern, or “locked” portion, of the fault will suddenly burst open on both sides for a distance of about 185 miles from the Port of Aqaba (Eilat) northward, to become a raging inferno of volcanic smoke, pitch, and brimstone.

add comment effects levitra side

The greatest restructuring will occur in that section or the fault block between the southern tip of the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. That section was known as Edom or Idumea during the time of most of the prophets (See Archive Birth Pang Figure 23). Isaiah writes of this catastrophic tribulation period ripping transformation of that land, which will form a new river channel to drain the Dead Sea.

Isaiah 34:4-10 – And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. [5] For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. [6] The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. [7] And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. [8] For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. [9] And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. [10] It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

This is a classic description of what geologists label as a “flood basalt plain,” and verse 10 indicates that some degree of volcanic activity will occur there off and on throughout the Millennium.

The activity would appear to be such that only wild animals would live there during that period.
