OFFENCE FENCED IN BY THE FENCE!

Please take a look at Prophecy Update Number 153C in our Archives. Things are right on target, and the things outlined to be happening are progressing on schedule. Although no one can predict precisely what year Israel is going to be attacked by a vicious Jihad of 10 Arab nations toward the north, the way things predicted in Update 153C are falling in place assure me it is not some distant event far away in the future. I still believe the most likely year for this attack is 2007 but, as I have stated repeatedly for some 31 years, the attack will occur, and if I am wrong about 2007, I do believe it will occur not too long afterward.

Building Triple Fence around Gaza

Would-be terrorist infiltrators from the Gaza Strip will have to overcome three fences and a range of state-of-the-art weapons systems after disengagement, it was revealed Thursday.

The IDF believes fighting with the Palestinians will continue after the pullout, a senior officer in the Southern Command said, and therefore needs the “flexibility” that the complex defensive apparatus will provide.

The officer was speaking during a tour of the security fence around the northern Gaza Strip, where two more fences are being constructed on either side of the existing one.

Also under construction between two of the three fences are roads for both light vehicles and heavy armored vehicles, as well as sophisticated monitoring equipment meant to help identify

and even fire on approaching threats.

Command-and-control centers in the area will supervise and operate

the fences and their additional equipment.

Asked why such a complex defensive system was necessary, the officer explained that each element was designed to slow the progress

of attackers and increase the amount of time soldiers have to react to an infiltration attempt.

“There is no replacement for strategic depth, so we have to create depth” by increasing the number of obstacles between the Gaza Strip and the nearby towns and kibbutzim, he said. “The idea is not just to prevent [the Palestinians] from launching rockets, but to prevent them from even reaching the staging area for launching rockets.”

Leaving Gaza “creates gaps in our defensive posture,” continued the officer, “so we are bridging those gaps through technology.”

While the details are sensitive, the officer said the new weapons would allow the army to significantly decrease its manpower requirements.

With only weeks to go before disengagement, however, only one fourth of the new fencing has been built.

In some areas, negotiations with Israeli landowners are ongoing for the strip of land between

the central and easternmost fences.

“Not everything will be ready by October,” when the evacuation of Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip is expected to be completed, the officer admitted.

All elements of the NIS 1 billion security apparatus, including unmanned vehicles, remote-controlled guns and fiber optic surveillance systems, should be in place by mid-2006 to late 2006, he said.

Other military post-disengagement preparations include moving encampments or creating new ones for soldiers who until now have been stationed in the Gaza Strip. The officer said the army was already prepared to absorb 80 percent of the soldiers in new quarters outside the Gaza Strip – mostly in temporary quarters – until new permanent structures, such as the ambitious Camp Re’em project, are completed.
By the time

the last of the Gaza settlers was evacuated, the officer said, the army would have solutions for all the soldiers.

Considerable civilian infrastructure is also in the works, including an new enlarged Erez border crossing terminal that will, for the first time, be operated by non-military personnel.

For up to 45 Israeli towns and kibbutzim near the Gaza border, the IDF is also preparing a series of measures to increase security after disengagement. The means provided, said the officer, would be proportionate to the proximity of each one

to the border and the level of the threat to it as assessed by the IDF.

Iranian Cadres Training Hezbollah in Lebanon

Iranian cadres are training Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon, a State Department official told Congress on Thursday.

Assistant Secretary of State David Welch told the House International Relations Committee the information was provided by “our own sources.”

Welch also testified there was “a continuing covert Syrian presence there” despite the withdrawal of Syrian troops from Lebanon. And, Welch said, there are armed Palestinian groups in Lebanon, as well.

He said the United States would have no contact with Lebanon’s energy and water minister, Mohammed Fneish, who is a member of Hezbollah.

Welch reiterated the long-standing U.S. view that Hezbollah is a terror

ist organization.

The group is known to operate with weapons provided by Iran that are channeled to it through Syria, which borders Lebanon.

Asked by Rep.

Howard Berman, D-Calif., whether Iranian cadres were training Hezbollah in Lebanon, Welch replied, “Yes.”

Welch said the Lebanese army should extend its authority to southern Lebanon and the militia groups should be disarmed.

But on Wednesday, the leader of Hezbollah said no one can uproot the Shiite Muslim group.

“The resistance in Lebanon is not an armed gang that can be hit or eradicated,” he told supporters in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora pledged to protect Hezbollah, saying the Lebanese government considers it “an honest and natural expression” of resistance to Israeli aggression and threats.

Representative Tom Lantos, D-Calif., called the statement “profoundly disturbing.” He said he was not aware of any Israeli threats to Lebanon.

Welch agreed. Challenging Saniora, whose government has the Bush administration’s support, Welch said, “There is no part of Lebanon occupied by Israel.”

“I don’t know what they would be resisting,” he said.

“Hezbollah admits its material support for Palestinian terrorist operations, which undermines the Palestinian leadership’s goal of stopping violence in Israel and the Palestinian territories,” Welch said.

As I indicated in Archive Update 170B – We were right to go into Iraq and take out Saddam.

But we are making a mistake to believe

we can form a Democratic government.

We need to pull out, and I am hopeful that by the end of 2006 we will have done so.

The recent alliances bet ween Iran and Iraq will be follo

wed by close military ties between them, and Iraq will hate us as much as they did before we liberated them whether we stay or go. The following article from Indep endent Internet Edition leads me to believe American troops will be out of Iraq by the

end of 2006 or early 2007.

Iraq Calls for Quick Pullout of US Troops

Iraq’s transitional prime minister called Wednesday for a speedy withdrawal of US troops and the top US commander here said he believed a “fairly substantial” pullout could begin next spring and summer.

Iraq government on a security transition, he said. “We do not want to be surprised by a withdrawal that is not in connection with our Iraqi timing,”‘ he said.

The Last Temple

The following extract from the Jerusalem Post includes Ariel Sharon’s remark about the destruction of Herod’s Temple by Titus in 70 AD, as was prophesied some 40 years earlier by the Messiah.

Luke 21:6,24 – As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that

shall not be thrown down.

[24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until

the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Today, because of the popular interpretation of Daniel 9:27 being the antichrist, countless numbers of believers are certain that II Thessalonians 2:4 and Daniel 11:45 teach that a temple MUST be built before the Second Advent of Messiah.

But is that belief true

Sharon recounted that in his meeting with Chirac the two burst out laughing on several occasions.

Chirac, a former agriculture minister, told Sharon that French cows gave more milk and had more developed horns.

Sharon replied that his son, Gilad, had pointed out to him the superiority of the horns of French cows and that he replied to him that they were not raising the cows for their horns.

The prime minister complimented Chirac on his palace, saying that Israel’s palace (the Second Temple) was destroyed by the Romans.

In the not too distant future 10 Arab horns will attack Israel in a Jihad of great strength fueled by the spirit of Jihad that grows daily in the world of Islam, but when Messiah destroys there armies some three and one-half years later at his Second Advent, then the temple will be built in the Millennium.

In his visit to France, Ariel Sharon hoped to secure France’s support in three areas.

The following two paragraphs are quoted from an article in today’ s Jeru

salem Post about this meeting.

the EU that I expressed in Archive Prophecy Update Number 76C.

“IDF intelligence chief Aharon Ze’evi Farkash told Maariv last week that if Israel would be allowed to take a leading role in the fight against international terrorism and Al-Qaida, seventy percent of international terrorist attacks could be prevented.

Other issues expected to be raised in the Sharon-Chirac meeting include France’s effort to stop the Iranian nuclear program, the disarming of Hizbullah, and Israel’s hope that France will pressure Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to fight terror.”

as Hell freezing over.

International rejection of th is idea

is a cert

ainty. We may use their techniques, but we would never allow them to participate in, let alone lead, the international effort.

The chance of France ever being successful in accomplishing the three things listed in Paragraph two is about as likely as popsicles

being made of the ice formation in Hell.

If any of these things happen it will not be because of France, but because Islam sees a temporary advantage in doing them to lull Israel into a false sense of security, thereby eventually allowing them to destroy Israel in a Jihad.
