Increasing Earthquake Activity in Western North America!

During the tribulation period, which I do not believe is in the far distant future, the world’s gigantic tectonic plate system, which consists of many thousands of miles of faults that extend down through the earth’s crust, making contact with great underground lakes of red hot magma, will be unleashed on the surface of planet earth. There will be three and one half years of unbelievable horror on mankind like the world has never seen.
Precisely when it will begin, no one can predict the exact date, but Isaiah describes it in graphic detail, with Daniel and Matthew foretelling the effect it will have on all mankind. In the last few months of the three and one-half years, the vials of God’s wrath will be poured out on the earth.
Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
Daniel 12:1 – And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Matthew 24:21,22 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Revelation 15:6 to 16:2 – And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
[7] And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full
of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. [8] And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. [1] And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
[2] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
There was to be a noticeable increase in earthquake activity before the great earthquake of Revelation 6:12.
During the last 10 days there has been an increase in the number of quakes reported in California, off the coasts of Oregon, Washington, and California,
and in Alaska. The earthquake activity, as in does in all areas, runs in swarms that come and go, but this year we seem to be having less time lapse between the swarms. I believe it is likely that the next two years will see a major earthquake in California, an off shore earthquake generated tsunami along part of the shoreline from Oregon to British Colombia, and a major volcanic eruption in Alaska’s Island chain.
The Juan de Fuca (Fuqa) tectonic plate is a part of the massive Pacific Tectonic fault boundary that rings the vast Pacific Ocean, which causes the boundary to be properly labeled as the “Ring of Fire” because of the great number of volcanoes it produces. The Juan de Fuca plate is just a small section of it. Its character and the area it affects are as follows:
The boundary between the Pacific and Juan de Fuca Plates is marked by a broad submarine mountain chain about 500 kilometers long, known as the Juan de Fuca Ridge. Young volcanoes, lava flows, and hot springs were discovered in a broad valley less than 8 kilometers wide along the crest of the ridge in the 1970’s. The ocean floor is spreading apart and forming new ocean crust along this valley or “rift” as hot magma from the Earth’s interior is injected into the ridge and erupted at its top.
In the Pacific Northwest, the Juan de Fuca Plate plunges beneath the
North American Plate. As the denser plate of oceanic crust is forced deep into the Earth’s interior bene ath the continent
al plate, a process known as subduction, it encounters high temperatures and pressures that partially melt solid rock. Some of this newly formed magma rises toward the Earth’s surface to erupt, forming a chain of volcanoes (the Cascade Range) above the subduction zone.

“The Jordan Rift Valley is merely a small part of the thousands of fault lines that are interconnected across the earth, but the first, and the last, of the many earthquakes occurring during the tribulation period, will occur along it, one with 1260 days to go until Armageddon, and the last one will end the battle of Armageddon.
Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (The first in Revelation).
Revelation 16:16-18 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. [18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great (The last in Revelation).
Daniel 12:4 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
As geologists have run “to and fro” across the earth our knowledge has been greatly increased as to the method that God has, and does, use in reshaping the earth’s crust and interior. We now know that the outer crust of the earth’s surface actually floats on an underlying layer of molten rock known as magma. When magma bursts forth onto the earth’s surface it is called lava. These plates of floating crust (called tectonic plates) are gigantic in size. The largest, the Pacific Plate, consists of virtually the entire Pacific Ocean seafloor.
The plates come together along their edges, and these zones of contact are called faults.
There are several types of faults that exist along tectonic plate borders, but it is not the purpose of this discourse to teach structural geology, so I will merely identify all these faults as cracks or flaws in the earth’s surface, which reach far down into a worldwide sea of magma beneath the tectonic plate crust (See Figure 3 under Birth Pangs). The dashed lines on Figure 3 are the major faults or “cracks” that exist between the plates.
The arrows indicate the general movement of the plates as they drift ever so slowly over the underlying sea of magma in response to its convective currents. As you can see in Figure 3, the Jordan Valley rift fault is merely a very small part of the endless linkage of fault lines that weave across the surface of the globe. Another bit of the “to and fro” knowledge that has increased for man “in the end times” is discovery of the fact that some 95 percent or the world’s earthquakes, and about 90 percent of all volcanic eruptions occur along the fault lines shown on Figure 3. Man has learned that the earthquakes occurring along these fault lines are primarily the result of sudden readjustment movements between the plate boundaries, such as the well publicized San Andreas Fault in California.”
