THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THESE SCRIPTURES!

JEREMIAH 30:24 to 31:1 – The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in THE LATTER DAYS YE SHALL CONSIDER IT. [1] AT THE SAME TIME, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

THIS GENERATION WILL SEE JEREMIAH’S “LATTER DAYS” PROPHECIES FULFILLED BY THE LORD’S ZEAL AS DESCRIBED BY MULTIPLE PROPHETS

AFTER THE DESTRUCTIVE ZEAL OF GOD IN THE TRIBULATION PERIOD, HE WILL BUILD THE SPIRITUAL JOY AND PROSPERITY HAPPINESS OF ISRAEL AS THEIR MESSIAH DURING HIS MILLENNIUM OVER THE ENTIRE PLANET.

JEREMIAH 31:5 – Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

It will not be as it was under the Law of Moses where fruit was considered profaned if it was eaten by the one who planted it. It could only be eaten by the planter on the fifth year. In Messiah’s day it will not be profaned if the one who planted it eats it during the first four years. It will be a time of peace for a thousand years. The planter will not have to go to war to be killed and not come home to eat what was planted. Raiders will not drive the planter off his land and take his planting.

Leviticus 19:23-25 – And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. [24] But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal. [25] And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 20:6 – And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.

Micah 4:4 – But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.

Amos 9:11-15 – In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: [12] That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. [13] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. [14] And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. [15] And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

JEREMIAH 31:6 – For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God.

The role of a watchman is not limited to speaking only about the sins and problems of the society. The watchman was also charged with proclaiming good news about salvation. They will proclaim to both Jews and Gentiles to come to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles for a thousand years after Messiah’s Second Advent.

Isaiah 52:6-10 – Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. [7] How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! [8] Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. [9] Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. [10] The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Micah 4:1-4 – But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. [2] And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. [3] And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Psalm 102:13-18 – Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. [14] For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. [15] So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. [16] When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. [17] He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. [18] This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

Congressman Ed Markey, a strident anti-defense liberal from Massachusetts, has recently introuced a bill which, if passed (God forbid), would cut the spending on US nuclear weapons by $100 bn over a decade, i.e. $10 bn per year. His bill is cosponsored by 34 other pro-disarmament Congressmen and follows Markey’s 2011 proposal to the now-defunct “Super Committee” to cut this kind of spending by a whopping $200 bn a decade, i.e. $20 bn per year.

Congressman Ed Markey’s proposal to cut spending on the US nuclear arsenal by $100 bn over a decade, i.e. $10 bn per year, is treasonous, suicidal, and wrong, and must be completely rejected. The same applies to his proposal to the now-defunct “Super Committee” from last year to cut this kind of spending by $200 bn over a decade, i.e. $20 bn per year.

The US nuclear arsenal is a needed, irreplaceable deterrent which has kept America safe and has kept the peace for the last 66 years, preventing wars between superpowers, forcing them to tolerate each other, and preventing nuclear war. It seems that the opponents of the Free World have decided to “lay back” for awhile and prepare for a major future war. I think they are finally coming to realize they cannot possibly defeat Israel until they have a much great greater strength level than they now possess. It will be interesting to watch for signs of such actions at all levels. It will be necessary for the enemies of Israel to have a better trained military structure around Israel on land and sea than they now have in place.

I believe this action is now being implemented, but is unlikely to reach a sufficient level of attainment before 2010.

As I stated in the last blog, “I believe we are going to experience a few years where Russia, China, all the Islamic nations, the United States, Europe, Israel, and the terrorists are all preparing for war.”

It will be a return to the Cold War tactics of threat and counter threat for several years, but this time it will eventually turn into a Middle East hot war, which will culminate at Armageddon.

The shifting of Arab positions in this time of great Middle East confusion will depend individually on what their leaders believe is best to keep them in control. Tehran gave Bashar Assad its strongest avowal of support Tuesday, Aug. 7, while heaping threats on the heads of his enemies. Saeed Jalili, head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stood alongside the Syrian ruler in Damascus at the end of their talks and vowed not to let Iran’s “close partnership with the Syrian leadership to be shaken by the uprising or external foes” or the “axis of resistance (Iran, Syria, Hizballah) be broken in any way.” Assad then affirmed his determination to purge Syria of violence and bring his forces to victory.

DEBKAfile: When Iranian and Syrian leaders refer to “external foes,” they mean the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel.

Jalilii was sent to Damascus to publicly and unambiguously display Iran’s commitment to save Assad from being overthrown either by internal or external forces. He arrived from Beirut after a conference Monday with Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The Iranian official most likely laid before the Syrian ruler plans for the responses of the three allies to coming events in the Syrian conflict.

Tehran is not done with threats after shaking its fist at Israel: Tuesday, Aug. 7, Iranian Armed Forces Chief Gen. Hassan Firuzabadi pointed at Ankara and other Middle East capitals when he declared: “Turkey will be next in line for violence after Syria if it continues to work on behalf of Western interests.”

He went on to assert that “Ankara is toeing the Western (American) line in the region, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. They are therefore accountable for the bloodshed in the Arab Republic [Syria]”

The Iranian army chief warned: “If those nations carry on this way, they should realize that Turkey is the next in line.” He was in fact holding them all responsible for a potential outbreak of war with Turkey.

Spreading around responsibility for violence with accompanying threats appears to be Iran’s latest diplomatic ploy.

Earlier Tuesday, Tehran passed a message to Washington in which the United States was held responsible for the lives of the 48 Iranians nabbed by Syrian rebels in Damascus last week. The message was dropped off at the Swiss embassy in Tehran which handles US interests in the absence of diplomatic ties. It denied that the hostages were Revolutionary Guardsmen and insisted they were pilgrims to Shiite shrines in Syria. All the countries “supporting current events in Syria, starting with the US,” would be held responsible for their safety by Tehran.

The rebel Free Syrian Army‘s Al-Baraa Brigade has threatened to execute its Iranian “prisoners” if Syrian army shelling continues against Aleppo. Three were reported already dead as a result of that shelling.

Gen. Firuzabadi addressed his threat to Turkey shortly before the arrival in Ankara of Iran’s foreign minister, Ali-Akbar Salehi, in the hope of galvanizing the Turks into forcing the Syrian rebels to let go of their Iranian hostages.

Tehran now holds at least three nations, the US, Turkey and Israel, in peril of military action in the context of the Syrian conflict. Israel was the object of the first threat of engulfment by the “Syrian fire.”

Until recently the Sinai Peninsula was a tourist paradise: A demilitarized area nearly empty of soldiers that symbolizes the peace between Israel and Egypt – with enchanting desert views and tropical beaches on which courteous Bedouins serve coffee. So how did it become a terrorist paradise?

In accordance with the Israel-Egypt peace treaty, the Sinai desert is a demilitarized area with a very limited number of soldiers securing it. This agreement, which is supposed to keep the border region quiet, has become very problematic in recent years. The lack of a significant Egyptian military presence has left a dangerous void in Sinai. Islamist terror groups became aware of the region’s potential more than 10 years ago, and the financial means at their disposal have allowed them to strike deals with local Bedouin tribes – the real rulers of the desert.

The Bedouin tribes, who will do anything to get rich, including stealing organs from African refugees, serve as the foundation for the flourishing terror in Sinai. The Sinai terror threat has intensified since the establishment of Hamas’ Islamist entity in Gaza in 2007. The tunnels and other secret passageways between the Strip and Sinai allow the terrorists to transfer arms and materials used to make bombs and missiles. It is safe to assume that trucks carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza’s residents also carry a large amount of weapons. These weapons are meant not only for Hamas, but for other terror groups that do not submit to Hamas’ authority.

Thus, a new situation has been created whereby Hamas police monitor the activity of local Islamist organizations in Gaza to prevent them from seizing control of the coastal enclave.

Since the Egyptian revolution erupted on January 25, 2011 on the heels of the Arab Spring, Egypt’s control over Sinai has weakened significantly. The Egyptian army has been preoccupied with the developments in Egypt proper. According to the Washington Post, the Bedouins in Sinai purchased arms that were smuggled from Libya during the revolution – and now they plan to use these weapons against the Egyptian army.

‘Tighten grip on Sinai’

Opposition elements in Egypt, such as the Coalition of the Youth of the Revolution, hold newly-elected President Mohamed Morsi responsible for the death of 16 Egyptian patrolmen during Sunday’s terror attack south of Rafah. According to them, Morsi is responsible for the deteriorating security situation in Sinai. Since his election, Morsi has visited all of Egypt’s sectors, except Sinai. The attack also embarrassed Hamas’ Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, who met with Morsi in Egypt last week.

Haniyeh was quick to condemn the attack and declare that the attackers did not hail from Gaza. He said his regime would investigate, and stressed the need for increased cooperation between Gazan and Egyptian security forces. The attack undoubtedly undermined Hamas’ achievements. Just last week Morsi promised Haniyeh that he would work to ease the Israeli blockade of the Strip and assist its Palestinian inhabitants.

The attack also underscored the conflict of interests between Hamas, which claims to represent the Palestinians, and global jihad organizations (as well as al-Qaeda), which consider both the Egyptian and Israeli armies as enemies of Islam.

The ease in which Israeli forces killed the terrorists once they breached the border with an armored vehicle they had seized during the attack on the Egyptian patrolmen led some Egyptians to claim that the assault was an Israeli conspiracy. They claimed on the Internet that Israel activates terror cells in Sinai to create a rift between Hamas and Egypt and tighten the siege on Gaza.

But Egypt is aware of the severity of the terror threat in Sinai and of the need for cooperation between the new government in Cairo and the army, as well as between Egypt and Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood movement, which condemned the attack, called on the Egyptian army to tighten its grip on Sinai.

However, the eradication of terror in Sinai will be possible only if the Israel-Egypt peace treaty is revised in such a way that would allow for the mobilization of forces from both sides of the border to fight the jihadists.

Egyptian attack helicopters went into action Wednesday morning, Aug. 8, firing missiles to break up pitched battles between Salafi Bedouin gunmen and the three Egyptian positions and checkpoints they attacked overnight at Sheikh Zuwayed east of El Arish. witnesses report at least 20 Salafists killed and some Egyptian casualties among officers and men. Not just helicopters, but according to some reports Egyptian fighter jets also took off from El Arish airfield to beat back the Islamist offensive, the second in three days. It was the first time in the 39 years since the October 1973 Egyptian-Israeli Sinai war that Egyptian warplanes were deployed in the skies of the peninsula.

Sunday’s attack in which 17 Egyptian soldiers were killed and the Israeli border breached appears to have been the start of a general Sinai offensive by well-armed Salafi Bedouin gangs, adherents and followers of Al Qaeda. Northern Sinai has become their first battlefield.

Yet until now, DEBKAfile’s military and counter-terror sources report that the regular Egyptian army has not initiated an offensive campaign against the Salafi gunmen proliferating in the Sinai Peninsula. While opting for a defensive posture, the soldiers were forced to fight back when they were attacked early Wednesday.

The army has in fact decided to focus on establishing a buffer zone around El Arish to sterilize it against assault. It has carefully avoided going after the Islamist terrorists’ strongholds at Jebel El Halal and Al-Mahdia, deep in the central Sinai mountains. Both house small training facilities where Bedouin fighters were instructed in the “arts” of coordinated terror tactics which they employed Sunday against Egyptian and Israeli targets.

The Israel Defense Ministry’s political coordinator Amos Gilead defined Salafi Bedouins’ goal in a radio interview Wednesday as being “to drown the Israeli-Egyptian peace pact in rivers of blood” while dragging the entire Middle East into armed strife.

According to DEBKAfile’s sources, the Salafi gunmen who broke through to the Israeli side of the Sinai border Sunday in an armored truck packed with half a ton of explosives were not after an Israeli civilian location but the base of the IDF’s Bedouin Reconnaissance battalion nearby. They planned to repeat there the massacre they had just perpetrated at the Egyptian Mansoura base on the other side of the border.

Had they succeeded, the Salafist terrorists would have accomplished three strategic feats:

* The first simultaneous terrorist attack on two armies. It would have toppled the Egyptian and Israeli security deployments along their common border in Sinai;

* A mortal blow to the Bedouin unit, which is an important buttress of Israel’s combat array around the Gaza Strip;

* Bedouin would have triumphed against Bedouin, so sparking a vendetta between the tribes of Sinai and the Israel Negev.

Egypt held a military funeral on Tuesday for 16 soldiers killed in an attack over the weekend by suspected Islamist militants in Sinai near the borders with Gaza and Israel.

The ceremonies were disrupted by hecklers who chanted against Egypt’s new Islamist leaders, who have condemned the attack but may yet face a backlash against their plans to relax restrictions on Gaza border crossings. Gaza is ruled by the Islamist Hamas group.

Mourners prayed for the dead at a mosque in an east Cairo suburb before the coffins, wrapped in Egypt’s red-white-and-black flag, were taken to a nearby square where a military ceremony led by Defense Minister Hussein Tantawi was conducted.

The killers are believed to be part of a low-level Islamist insurgency that has been active in Sinai for a decade, and which is allied with al-Qaeda-inspired groups of militants in both Gaza and Sinai.

Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Gaza’s Hamas rulers come from a different Islamist political tradition than the Sinai militants. Mourners nonetheless appeared to hold them responsible for the deaths.

“The Brotherhood and Hamas are one dirty hand,” chanted some of the mourners.

Surprisingly, Morsi did not attend the funeral, though he flew to Sinai on Monday to look at the border region and familiarize himself with plans to combat militancy in the area.

Prime Minister Hesham Kandil did attend the funeral and was heckled by mourners, some of whom pelted him with shoes. Others held their shoes high, pointing their soles at him in a gesture of contempt, before he was whisked away by aides.

Kandil is not a Brotherhood member, but he is a devout Muslim said by some media reports to be sympathetic to the group.

Morsi has sought to reverse ousted leader Hosni Mubarak’s hardline policy toward Hamas, promising to ease the hardship endured by Gaza’s 1.6 million residents as a result of years of siege by Mubarak’s Egypt and his Israeli allies.

He has promised to open the Rafah border crossing – Gazans’ only gateway to the outside world – round the clock and allow goods to move to and out of the coastal territory. With their shared enmity for Israel, Morsi and Gaza’s rulers had appeared ready to strike an enduring alliance that could only have alarmed many in an Israel already concerned by the rise of Islamists in Egypt.

But Sunday’s attack and the Egyptian military’s assertion of Palestinian involvement may already have undermined that prospect. If Morsi maintains close ties with Hamas now, he could come under criticism for prioritizing the Brotherhood’s agenda over the nation’s interests.

The initial Egyptian and Israeli accounts of the attacks in which 16 Egyptian soldiers were killed and the Israeli border crashed Sunday night, Aug. 5, don’t match up: Egypt points the finger at the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip; Israel at Sinai Salafits.

DEBKAfile postulates a third option: Tehran put Gaza Strip Islamists and/or Palestinian proxies together with a Sinai al Qaeda cell for a coordinated attack on Egyptian and Israeli military targets to avenge the presence of al Qaeda in the anti-Assad revolt in Syria under the Western-Arab aegis. That would signal the spillover of the Syrian crisis into two more Middle East countries.

The gunmen first stormed an Egyptian commando post in Sinai with bombs, grenades and sidearms, killing at least 16 Egyptian soldiers, wounding many more and taking several hostages. A quantity of weapons and two armored vehicles were seized.

According to Egyptian sources, all ten gunmen infiltrated Sinai from the Gaza Strip through the smuggling tunnels. They were disguised as Sinai Bedouin.

In contrast, the Israeli military spokesman tagged the gunmen as Sinai Salafist Bedouin tied to al Qaeda. He denied there was any connection with the IDF’s targeting of two Popular Resistance Committees earlier Sunday after they were identified as the perpetrators of the June 18 shooting of an Israeli border fence workman.

The IDF also claimed it had been forewarned of the plot to attack the Kerem Shalom terminal opposite the Egyptian post and were therefore prepared for the gunmen’s incursion aboard two captured Egyptian vehicles for the purpose of snatching Israeli soldiers. Israel bombed the vehicle that got through from the air and by artillery. Seven terrorists were gunned down as they fled. There were no Israeli casualties.

The army spokesman did not indicate whether the Egyptians had also been forewarned.

The IDF version, if it is correct, exposes the most ambitious operation al Qaeda has ever mounted from Sinai. The jihadists, even in their biggest outrages in Iraq and Afghanistan – or Syria today – rarely carried through an operation this complex against one military base after another in two different countries.

Its features do, however, recall Palestinian terrorist strikes on Israeli military positions in the Gaza Strip at the height of their 2000-2003 war on Israel. In that sense, the Egyptian version pointing to Gaza as the source rings true. And indeed, the enclave’s Hamas rulers hastened to condemn the attack and block the Gaza-Sinai smuggling tunnels first thing Monday, Aug. 6, and a Hamas leader, Mahmoud A-Zahar, admitted Palestinians may have been complicit.

Neither Israel nor Egypt has mentioned a third option which in the view of DEBKAfile’s counter-terror analysts is the most sinister of them all, namely that Iran’s proxy in the enclave, the Palestinian Jihad Islami, which operates under the command of the Al Qods Brigades operations center in Beirut, was told to muster al Qaeda jihadists in Sinai for the coordinated attacks. Iranian officers posted in Beirut would then have orchestrated the combined operation, bringing to bear their long experience of setting up terrorist campaigns against Western and Arab targets – Saudi Arabia in 2003 and 2004; Iraq up to the present day and Afghanistan, against US and NATO forces.

If that is what happened, it would be the first time Tehran has harnessed al Qaeda to lash out out against Egyptian and Israeli military targets as a riposte for the presence of al Qaeda fighters in the revolt against Bashar Assad.

Just a few hours earlier, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani declared: “The fire that has been ignited in Syria will take the fearful (Israelis) with it.”

That was also the first time Tehran had explicitly threatened that the Syrian conflict would spill over into Israel.

The 5 groups of kings that had “fallen” when John wrote Revelation were the groupings of rulers over the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, and Grecian Kingdoms.

Number 6 was the one that existed (is) when John wrote Revelation during the Roman Empire Period.

Number 7 was the Umayyad group of Kings which was “the other” that had not come when John wrote Revelation Its a line of kings that only continued a “short space” of 89 years from 661 to 750 AD. After the Muslim Conquest of Jerusalem in 637 AD the great Umayyad Caliph Abd el Malik Commissioned the building of the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, and both were completed by 692 AD. He ruled over the Umayyad Caliphate from Damascus in Syria.

Number 8 will be the revival of the Umayyad Caliphate which will be formed and led by the man of sin, the Antichrist, after he drives Israel into the Negev Wilderness. The 7th and 8th are both Islamic Caliphs separated by more than 1260 years
