Revelation 17:10,11 – And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. [11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

When John wrote the book of Revelation, probably between 96 and 100 AD, the 2 verses above would fit the following conclusions, if the “kings” mean a line of rulers which affected and afflicted Israel during certain periods of time.

WHEN JOHN WROTE:

The first 5 kings represent the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian and Grecian Kingdoms.

The “one that is” represents the Roman Caesars in John’s Day

“Other is not yet come:” An Umayyad Kingdom was still future in John’s day

Compared to the previous 6 Kingdoms the Umayyad Kingdom only continued “a short space,” (89 years) and the Caliphate went into “perdition” (destruction), but will soon rise again as a resurrected Caliphate under the Islamic Antichrist.

10 Jihad Kings among the Islamic Kings of Revelation 19:19!

At the battle of Armageddon most of the kings of the earth will come to join the antichrist in a final attempt to eradicate the nation of Israel. Among them will be 10 nations representing the 10 Jihad toes of Daniel 2 that drove Israel into the Negev three and one-half years earlier.

Revelation 19:19 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Some three and one-half years before the final battle of Armageddon, which closes the tribulation period, ten kings from those nations out of the Umayadd Islamic Caliphate, which conquered the southern half of the ancient Roman Empire, will attack Israel from the north.

Daniel 2:42 – And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The last evil kingdom of antichrist on this earth was to initially be comprised of 10 nations with 10 kings led by the man of sin himself. It was to arise out of the ashes of the old Roman Empire. I have always believed it would rise out of the southern half of the Empire and be made up of 10 Islamic nations. I believe the elements for its formation are in place today, and I suspect that the most likely nations of which it will be comprised are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Some of these nations are strong like iron, and some are as soft and pliable as clay.

All of these present day nations currently occupy the land conquered from the ancient Roman Empire by Islam.

I do not question that in the final battle of Armageddon the descendants of Ham, Shem, and Japheth will be combatants against the nation of Israel. But I have always contended, along with the Bible expositors of the 18th and 19th centuries, that the antichrist’s initial attack would be led by Arab descendants of Abraham. They are the mingled seed of his oldest son Ishmael with the seed of the six sons he sired by Keturah, as well as some of the other offspring of his own father Terah. The empire of the antichrist will be an Islamic empire that eventually takes into it other old world nations. And, in the final great battle of Armageddon, all those nations that made up the world as it was known in A.D. 95 will come against Israel, such that Japheth, Ham, and Shem’s descendants will also be involved.

Daniel 2:41-43 – And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the

iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. The 10 toes will consist primarily of Terah’s descendants. Abraham came out of Terah. Out of Abraham came the leaders of the three great monotheistic faiths associated with Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. And they have always been in conflict. (Archive Prophecy Update Number 78 Diagram)

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended. “They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them. Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah. It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created.

The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more

than have the Jews.

Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever

and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from whence he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Christ, the stone, came from the mountain representing God, without any human instrumentation, but by God’s Spirit forming his body in a virgin’s womb. Christ will return to destroy those morally destroying the earth. All of the evil that came out of the Babylonian, Medo- Persian, Macedonian, and Roman Empires will be laid waste by his Second Advent.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
The Scriptures which follow describe the coming of the great Stone, the great Rock, coming with his kingdom.

Revelation 19:11-18 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Thousands of students burned the Stars and Stripes, an effigy of Uncle Sam and pictures of President Barack Obama outside the Tehran compound that once housed the U.S. mission.

The embassy was stormed on Nov. 4, 1979, after Iran’s Islamic revolution toppled the U.S.-backed shah, and 52 Americans were held hostage there for 444 days. The two countries have been enemies ever since.

Israel’s warnings on Iran get quiet nods in Gulf

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) – Among the many alliances of convenience in the Middle East, one is so unusual that the partners can barely hint about it publicly: Israel and the Gulf Arab states linked by shared fears over Iran’ s nuclear program.

While their deeper disputes on the Palestinians effectively block any strategic breakthroughs, the recent warnings from Israel and the West about military options against Iran invariably draw in the Gulf and its rare meeting of minds with Jerusalem.

The Gulf states – a cornerstone for U.S. diplomatic and military pressure on Iran – are indispensable parts of any effort to confront Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

And even Israel, which has no direct diplomatic outreach to the Gulf, is likely brought into the Gulf-centric policymaking with U.S. envoys acting as go-betweens, experts say.

“I would be surprised if there is no knowledge about the Saudi positions (in Israel) or knowledge in Saudi of the Israeli positions,” said David Menashri, director of the Center for Iranian Studies at Tel Aviv University.

It’s part of a complicated mix of mutual worries and divergent risks – the Gulf, unlike Israel, has critical commercial and diplomatic ties with Iran – that puts Washington in the middle as the common ally and chief Western architect of pressure tactics on Iran.

The next moves are expected after the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency releases an intelligence report Tuesday to its 35 board members.

Early leaks from diplomats suggest the document will indicate Iran has made computer models of a nuclear warhead and conducted other weapons-related work, which would strongly reinforce suspicions that Iran is working toward atomic weapons. Iran denies it seeks to develop nuclear arms and claims its program, including uranium enrichment labs, is only for energy and research.

In response to the reports last week, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi accused the International Atomic Energy Agency of giving in to U.S. pressure to level the accusations, which he said were based on fabricated intelligence.

“Iran has already responded to the alleged studies in 117 pages. We’ve said time and again that these are forgeries similar to faked notes,” Salehi told reporters in Tehran.

For the moment, the speculation of an increased threat of military strikes is based on tougher comments by Israel and the West in advance of the IAEA report.

In the latest statement, Israeli President Shimon Peres said “the possibility of a military strike on Iran is more likely to be realized than the diplomatic option.”

Peres told the Yisrael Hayom newspaper that Israel must carefully weight all alternatives. “I do not think there has already been a decision on the matter, but it appears that Iran is getting closer to obtaining nuclear weapons,” he said in comments publis

hed Sunday.

There is no apparent build up or operational changes at bases in the region, which for the U.S. include air wings scattered across the Gulf and the 5th Fleet naval hub in Bahrain. U.S. military planners say they could shift at least 4,000 soldiers to Kuwait after next month’s withdrawal from Iraq as part of efforts to boost the Pentagon’s already strong presence in the Gulf.

The upcoming IAEA report also must run its course.

The U.S. and others hope it will persuade the IAEA board to refer the findings to the U.N. Security Council for possible tougher sanctions on Iran or – as an alternative – a deadline for greater cooperation with the nuclear agency’s investigators.

Any scenario, however, will likely shed greater light on common ground between Israel and the Gulf states over how to further isolate and intimidate Iran.

“I would put it this way: The Gulf states, some of them, would like Israel to be more active against Iran, though they would never say it publicly,” said Meir Litvak, a regional expert at the Dayan Center think tank at Tel Aviv University.

For many in Israel, the possibility of a nuclear-armed Iran is framed in the starkest terms.

Israel is widely believed to have the only nuclear weapons arsenal in the Mideast – although it refuses to either confirm or deny that – and an Iranian bomb would sharply reorder the balance of power and be seen as a direct challenge to Israel’s survival.

In a BBC interview aired Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Iran’s actions could open “major nuclear arms race” in the region and give Tehran increased leverage over Mideast affairs.

Barak said that “paralyzing” sanctions could be enough to pressure Iran, but that “no option should be removed from the table.”

“We live in a tough neighborhood,” he said. “No mercy for the weak.”

The Gulf’s views on Iran are generally shaped by decades-old perceptions that the Shiite-led Islamic Republic seeks to weaken the Sunni monarchs and sheiks ruling from Kuwait to Oman. But the levels of worry vary greatly.

Oman maintains close ties with Iran as co-overseers of the Strait of Hormouz at the mouth of the Gulf, which is the passageway for about 40 percent of the world’s oil tanker traffic.

Energy-rich Qatar, meanwhile, seeks to build more commercial links with Iran, including a deal last week that could allow state-run Qatar Airways to operate flights within Iran alongside the sanctions-battered Iranian passenger fleet.

Saudi Arabia, the Gulf’s main power center, appears most eager to tighten the pressure on Iran.

Its leaders have repeatedly accused Iran of trying to destabilize the Gulf Arab states, including claims of encouraging Shiite-led protests for greater rights in strategic Bahrain. Saudi officials also have not tried to publicly counter the U.S. claims that Iranian agents were linked to a foiled plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in Washington.

In one of the most repeated snippets from leaked U.S. diplomatic cables, Saudi’s King Abdullah in 2008 urged a U.S.-led attack against Iran to “cut off the head of the snake” and halt Tehran’s nuclear program.

Saudi and Israeli policies also have crossed paths at times in the Arab Spring, with each shaken by the fall of Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak and hoping the Syrian protests against Bashar Assad’s regime weaken the Iranian influence in the country.

Still, some analysts remain highly skeptical whether Saudi Arabia and its allies would give a nod to an Israeli attack, which could open a wider conflict in the Gulf and possibly choke off crucial oil exports.

” Yes, the Arab and Persian mutual antipathy is legendary.

But the question is whether any Gulf state would go to the extreme of supporting an Israeli attack on Iran,” said Ehsan Ahrari, a political analyst based in Virginia who taught security studies at the National Defense University. “The Gulf sheikdoms have to think very hard on this issue.”

Iran is pursuing its nuclear weapons program at the Parchin military base about 30 kilometers from Tehran, diplomatic sources in Vienna say. The Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency is expected to release a report this week on Iran’s nuclear activities.

According to recent leaks, Iran has carried out experiments in the final, critical stage for developing nuclear weapons – weaponization. This includes explosions and computer simulations of explosions. The Associated Press and other media outlets have reported that satellite photos of the site reveal a bus-sized container for conducting experiments.

Parchin serves as a base for research and development of missile weaponry

and explosive material.

It also has hundreds of structures and a number of fortified tunnels and bunkers for carrying out explosive experiments.

As far back as eight years ago, U.S. intelligence sources received information indicating that the bunkers would also be suitable to develop nuclear weapons. According to that information, Iran conducted experiments there to examine its capacity to simulate a nuclear explosion.

The Iranians rejected an IAEA request to visit Parchin, saying that IAEA rules permitted the organization’s member states to deny such visits to military bases. Now, eight years later, the site is again suspected as a location for covert military nuclear activity.

Sources say that this time around, the IAEA report will contain clearer language on military aspects of the Iranian nuclear program.

The report is in the final drafting stages and will need the approval of the IAEA’s director general, Yukiya Amano.

According to information leaked to the media, the report will include a 12-page appendix with details including documents and satellite photos that support the contention that, in violation of its international obligations, Iran is covertly developing nuclear weapons.

The report is also expected to detail Iranian’s progress on uranium enrichment at its Natanz facility and state that the Islamic Republic still refuses to disclose information on various aspects of

its atomic program. This in turn arouses suspicions that Iran is hiding information and is indeed developing nuclear weapons.

Previous IAEA reports have said Iran already has four and a half tons of uranium at Natanz that are enriched at 3.5 percent. If such a quantity is enriched to 90 percent, something Iran has the capacity for, it will be enough to produce fissile material for four or five nuclear bombs.

The report is expected to state that Ir an has also begun to install centrifuges at a facility near Qom that is built underground to shield the site from

an air attack.

Both the Natanz and Qom sites, however, are subject to regular visits by IAEA inspectors. Any decision on moving to the final stage in a nuclear weapons program would largely be up to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with the assistance of two military advisers.

In any event, diplomats say it is unlikely the IAEA’s governing board will condemn Iran when it meets on November 17 and 18. It might take months to convince China and Russia to support a board resolution that could be the first step toward additional UN sanctions, they say.

The government of Syrian President Bashar Assad will almost certainly fall under the pressure of protests and sanctions, but it will take time due to the complexity of internal and regional politics, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said on Wednesday.

With a crackdown on pro-democracy protests in Syria now seven months old, Western powers including France are relying on a combination of sanctions and diplomatic pressure to weaken Assad’s hold on power.

The European Union widened sanctions against Assad and the Syrian state after China and Russia blocked an attempt by Western powers to bring about a UN Security Council

resolution condemning violence against protesters.

“It’s true that in New York (at the United Nations) we were blocked, and that is a stain on the Security Council, which said almost nothing about this barbaric repression,” Juppe said on France Inter radio.

“This will end with the fall of the regime, it is nearly unavoidable, but unfortunately it could take time because the situation is complex, because there is a risk of civil war between Syrian factions, because surrounding Arab countries do not want us to intervene.”

Assad, who says his government is serious about political reform, will meet an Arab League committee in Damascus on Wednesday.

The six-nation committee includes Algeria, Oman, Sudan and Yemen — countries seen as sympathetic to Syria.

Juppe said that while most Arab nations opposed action against Syria, Turkey was moving closer to the Western position and had begun to exert pressure on the Syrian government to stop the crackdown.

After months of clashes between protesters and security forces, which have killed 3,000 people, according to a UN estimate, Syrian army deserters have formed the beginnings of an armed insurgency against the state.

Opposition abroad to the Syrian government has begun to coalesce under the Syrian National Transition Council. France has stopped short of recognizing the body, but signalled its support earlier this month when Juppe shook hands with its leader in Paris.

The Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad, which traded deadly fire with Israel at the weekend in Gaza, does not expect a subsequent truce to last long and has at least 8,000 fighters ready for war, a spokesman said.

“We are proud and honored to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran gives us support and help,” Abu Ahmed, the spokesman for Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, the Jerusalem Brigades, told Reuters in an interview. “We have every right to turn to every source of power for help.”

Jerusalem Brigades cells are dotted around Gaza and Abu Ahmed said there was huge demand from youngsters to join. “We take some, but can’t accept everyone.”

The group got a boost to its standing in August when the new rulers in Egypt started dealing with it directly over truces, rather than through Hamas. Abu Ahmed said Hamas was not involved in the latest fighting and that all the talking was with Egypt.

“Certainly in terms of ideology, there is no difference between Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. The difference is in the methodology,” he said, adding that Hamas’ governmental role meant that it was “more vulnerable to outside pressure.”

Nasrallah: Hizballah can fight Israel without aid from Iran or Syria

The Lebanese Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah, while inspecting his fighting units in the last two weeks, has briefed commanders on updated operational plans for firing 10,000 rockets at Tel Aviv and Israel’s air force and reserve mobilization bases in a surprise attack, DEBKAfile’s military sources report.

“The Zionist enemy cannot stand up to a salvo on that scale,” he told them. “He can’t locate our secret launching bases or put a stop to a missile offensive that is sure to determine the war’s outcome.”

He assured the troops that Hizballah is capable of fighting Israel without Iranian or Syrian help.

In answer to questions, Nasrallah said the militia must be prepared to fight Israel without outside military assistance. “We don’t know in what situation our war may find Iran. We do know Bashar Assad has been fighting a rebellion for the past ten months and is in no condition to come to our aid,” he said.

To boost morale, Nasrallah reported the arrival of advanced weapons, including anti-tank and anti-air missiles from Libya. DEBKAfile’s sources report they were delivered to Lebanon by sea and air freighters from the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

A Hizballah purchasing mission in Tripoli and Benghazi bought the weapons from military units making up the National Tr

ansitional Council ruling Libya as an interim government. Iranian and Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood agents were on hand to pay for the merchandise on the spot.

In the briefings to his men, the Hizballah leader also dredged up a two-year old plan to use the projected massive rocket assault as cover for five commando brigades to surge into northern Israel and seize designated sectors of the Galilee up to the outskirts of Carmiel. He assured Hizballah troops that even if Israel Defense Forces units stormed into Lebanon, they were capable of taking the war across the border into enemy terrain.

On Nov. 3, Birgul Ayman Guler, head of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party, remarked after a visit to Damascus: “The West has written a plot about democracy and liberty. But this plot… is nothing but the plot for an invasion.”

Our sources note that Ayman’s party is against Prime Minster Tayyip Erdogan’s policy of supporting the Syrian opposition to Assad.

He has expanded this support by hosting rebel command posts and training facilities on Turkish soil and providing them with arms. The Turkish prime minister is seen as acting out the policy of intervention not just of his government but of NATO, of which his country is a full member.

The fact that Israel is holding training sessions seen as practical preparations for striking Iran’s nuclear sites is no secret. Israel will not tolerate nuclear arms in Iranian hands. No less importantly, the international community and the Iranians fully realize that Israel is seriously considering such a strike in order to curb or at least delay the Iranian race to the bomb, assuming there is no non-military option to secure this aim.

However, this is contingent upon absolute certainty that Iran has already started to produce the bomb and that all other ways to prevent Tehran from doing so have been exhausted.

In such a case, Israel would have no choice but to thwart the existential threat we face as a result of nuclear arms in Iranian hands, even at the price of the casualties and damage sustained by Israel as a result of Iran’s response and that of its allies. However, this scenario is still relatively far off.

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta came to Israel a few weeks ago and said that decisions on Iran must be taken in coordination between Jerusalem and Washington. “Nobody would believe that you operated without coordinating it with the U.S., and hence, as we too would sustain damages, we demand at least an advance warning,” said a senior American official who recently visited Israel.

The lively public debate on the issue grants more credibility to the Israeli strike threat. It signals to Washington, Moscow and Beijing: either you stop the Iranian race to the bomb or we shall be forced to act, and then all of us shall pay a heavy price.

The sudden rush of military news Wednesday, Nov. 2, is part of an orchestrated Western performance to convince Tehran that the US, Britain and Israel are on the verge of a military operation against its nuclear installations.

Directed from Washington, it is meant to warn Iran that the play could become a reality show if it refuses to give up the drive for a nuclear weapon. President Barack Obama may then decide to strike Revolutionary Guards Corps targets, the bulwark of the Islamic regime, and its strategic infrastructure, thereby knocking over the key props holding up the regime of the ayatollahs.

Contributing to the menacing climate hanging over Iran were four headline events involving Israel – all on the same Wednesday: Israel conducted a successful test launch of a new intercontinental ballistic missile, Jericho 3, which foreign sources report is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead 7,000 kilometers.

After that, the IDF released photographs of Israeli Air Force squadron leaders reporting from Italian air base runways to the media on joint exercises they had conducted in long-range maneuvers with the Italian air force “and other NATO nations,” to familiarize the IAF with NATO military tactics.

The inference was clear: The Israeli Air Force was strengthening its cooperation with Western allies in preparation for a NATO assault on Iran. The IAF also got a chance to study the lessons Western alliance air force tacticians had drawn from the eight-month Libyan operation which ended on Oct. 31.

Next, the IDF’s Home Command announced a large-scale anti-missile exercise in central Israel starting Thursday morning, Nov. 3.

If the British general was in Israel only this week, why was Barak is such a hurry to visit London

The answer came from the British media, which reported as soon as he arrived that the Ministry of Defense in London had accelerated and upgraded its contingency planning for participation in a US-led assault on Iran. They carried an account of plans for deploying large naval units including submarines to the Persian Gulf.

The UK was reported to have asked Washington for permission to station its fighter-bombers on the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia for launching bombing sorties against Iran.

This whirlwind of military activity was said to have been prompted by the approaching publication of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Iran report next Tuesday, Nov. 8 and the conclusion the nuclear watchdog had reached: Inside 12 months, Iran will have tucked all its nuclear and ballistic missile facilities away in deep underground tunnels where they will be invulnerable to attack.

A potential US-British strike to pre-empt this move would also be timed for the run-up to America’s next presidential election in November 2012.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that if the US, Britain and other NATO nations, such as France, Italy and Germany, participate in the attack, Israel will not. Its army, air force and navy will defend the home front, be available to engage Iran’s allies to prevent them from striking the assault forces from the rear, and act as a strategic reserve. The danger would come from Syria, the Lebanese Hizballah, and the Palestinian Hamas and Jihad Islami in the Gaza Strip.

These contingency plans are subject to changes, especially if President Obama and other NATO allies decide after all against attacking Iran in the coming year. The hyperactivity will then subside and Israel will be thrown back on the dilemma of having to decide whether or not to conduct a lone military operation against Iran.

There is not much time for contemplation. Syria and Hizballah are reported by DEBKAfile’s military sources to be in the throes of separate preparations for attacking Israel if their respective grips on power are shaken. For now, those sources rate the chances of Israel facing a military clash with Syria and/or Hizballah much higher than a NATO-Israeli showdown being mounted against Iran.
