PARAGRAPH QUOTE FROM DEBKAfile EXCERPT WHICH FOLLOWS IT
“[It was decided to use the occasion for the Iranian, Syrian, Qatari and Lebanese leaders
to hold a war conference, essentially to plot moves for ramping up the Arab-Israeli conflict.
They have already decided in principle to lay the groundwork for a high-tension crisis to erupt between Israel and Lebanon some time in September or October, by which time Tehran will be able to gauge in full how much the new sanctions are hurting Iran.

END QUOTE
I agree with the quote.
It is a war conference, and it will lay the groundwork for the future conflict which must prophetically occur, but I do not believe it will begin this year. I do believe it will occur when substantial numbers of American troops are withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hectic preparations for historic Ahmadinejad visit to Beirut
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report
July 11, 2010, 11:33 PM (GMT+02:00)
Feverish preparations are afoot in Tehran for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s first visit to the Lebanese capital.
Reporting this, DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources define the trip’s purpose as a confrontational exercise to warn the US and Israel that full implementation of the tough new UN, US and European sanctions will provoke an Iranian war on Israel – waged from Lebanon.
Iran’s rulers came up with this plan in their marathon consultations last week, prompted by the realization that the US embargo on gasoline and other refined oil products were for real. Combined with the Obama administration’s partial success in closing the US banking system and markets to Iranian firms and the UAE’s consent to close its ports to Iranian traffic, the new measures have the potential for throwing a large spanner into the Islamic Republic’s normal economic activity.
The planning for Ahmadinejad’s trip to Lebanon – probably towards the end of July or early August – went into high gear after Syrian president Bashar Assad and the Qatari ruler Shiekh Hamad Bin Khalif Al Thani (who engineered the power-sharing accord for setting up the Lebanese government coalition in 2009) reacted positively to the notion of the threesome landing in Beirut aboard the same plane or in convoy, at the invitation of Lebanese president Michel Suleiman.
This procedure was advised to insure the Iranian president against a possible Israel attempt on his life and also that of Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who would be on hand in
the welcoming party headed by the Lebanese president.
Sunday, July 11, DEBKAfile reported that Hizballah had massed 20,000 armed men along the border with Israel, while Israeli Defense Forces had ranged tank and armored divisions on the other side of the border.
The broad outline of the visit was laid down by Lebanese Shiite lawmaker Nabih Beri and Alaedin Boroujerdi, Chairman of the Majlis foreign affairs and security committee, who was in Beirut last week to attend the funeral of the Shiite cleric Ayatollah Hassan Fadlallah.
It was decided to use the occasion for the Iranian, Syrian, Qatari and Lebanese leaders to hold a war conference, essentially to plot moves for ramping up the Arab-Israeli conflict. They have already decided in principle to lay the groundwork for a high-tension crisis to erupt between Israel and Lebanon some time in September or October, by which time Tehran will be able to gauge in full how much the new sanctions are hurting Iran.

God Tabernacles with Man – Number 8
July 13, 2010
http://www.tribulationperiod.com/
During the millennial reign of Messiah, according to Zechariah 14:16 and Isaiah 66:23, the unfulfilled Feast of Tabernacles will be fulfilled, and all flesh will come to Jerusalem to worship before the returned Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Anointed One.
Isaiah 66:23 – And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
We began an exposition of Isaiah 66:5 earlier, and I will now continue with 66.6. During Messiah’s First Advent to Israel, he cleansed the temple on two occasions – w hen
he began his earthly ministry, and again when he closed it more than three years later.
This created a commotion on both occasions when his voice was heard declaring to Israel’s religious leaders his Father’s displeasure with them. Israel paid a terrifying recompense some 40 years later because of the spiritual condition of the temple, and its refusal to accept the one who cleansed it as Messiah.
Isaiah 66:6 – A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompense to his enemies.
He performed the first temple cleansing on the Passover after he was baptized. He had first traveled to Cana, and then returned to Jerusalem to observe the Passover.
John 1:32-37 – And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
[33] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth
with the Holy Ghost. [34] And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. [35] Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; [36] And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! [37] And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
John 2:1-3,11,13-17 – And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there [2] And both Jesus was called and his disciples, to the marriage.
[3] And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
[11] This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. [13] And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, [14] And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: [15] And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; [16] And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merch
andise. [17] And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
He performed the second temple cleansing three years after the first during his last Passover in Jerusalem.
Matthew 21:9-16 – And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. [10] And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? [11] And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12] And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, [13] And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye h ave m
ade it a den of thieves. [14] And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. [15] And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased, [16] And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say
? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Recompense began some 40 years after Jesus declared the temple mount to be spiritually desolate.
It happened as prophesied by Jesus in Luke 21:24. It was then made physically desolate.
Matthew 23:38,39 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
[39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
The recompense will be finished at his Second Advent, and Israel will say, “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”

Obama’s selective modesty
By CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER
07/11/2010 23:48
The president is convinced of his own magnificence, yet not of his country’s.
Remember NASA? It once represented to the world the apogee of American scientific and technological achievement. Here is President Barack Obama’s vision of NASA’s mission, as explained by administrator Charles Bolden: “One was he wanted me to help reinspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and math and engineering.”
Apart from the psychobabble – farcically turning a space-faring enterprise into a self-esteem enhancer – what’s the sentiment behind this charge? Sure America has put a man on the moon, led the information revolution, won more Nobel Prizes than any other nation by far – but, on the o
ther hand, a thousand years ago al-Khwarizmi gave us algebra.
Bolden seems quite intent on driving home this message of achievement equivalence – lauding, for example, Russia’s contribution to the space station.
Russia? In the 1990s, the Russian space program fell apart, leaving the US to pick up the slack and the tab for the missing Russian contributions to get the
space station built.
For good measure, Bolden added that the US cannot get to Mars without international assistance.
Beside the fact that this is not true, contrast this with the elan and self-confidence of president John F. Kennedy’s pledge that America would land on the moon within the decade.
T here
was no finer expression of belief in American exceptionalism than Kennedy’s. Obama has a different take.
As he said last year in Strasbourg, “I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.”
Which of course means: If we’re all exceptional, no one is.
TAKE HUMAN rights.
After Obama’s meeting with the president of Kazakhstan, Mike McFaul of the National Security Council reported that Obama actually explained to the leader of that thuggish kleptocracy that we too are working on perfecting our own democracy.
Nor is this the only example of an implied moral equivalence that diminishes and devalues America.
Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner reported that in discussions with China about human rights, the US side brought up Arizona’s immigration law – “early and often.” As if there is the remotest connection between that and the persecution of dissidents, jailing of opponents, suppression of religion routinely practiced by the Chinese dictatorship.
Nothing new here. In his major addresses, Obama’s modesty about his own country has been repeatedly on display as, in one venue after another, he has gratuitously confessed America’s alleged failing – from disrespecting foreigners to having lost its way morally after 9/11.
It’s fine to recognize the achievements of others and be nonchauvinistic about one’s country. But Obama’s modesty is curiously selective. When it comes to himself, modesty is in short supply.
It began with the almost comical self-inflation of his presidential campaign, from the still inexplicable mass rally in Berlin in front
of a Prussian victory column to the Greek columns framing him at the Democratic convention. And it carried into his presidency, from his posture of philosopher-king adjudicating between America’s sins and the world’s to his speeches marked by a spectacularly promiscuous use of the first-person pronoun – I.
Notice, too, how Obama habitually refers to cabinet members and other high government officials as “my” – “my secretary of homeland security,” “my national security team,” “my ambassador.”
The more normal – and respectful – usage is to say “the,” as in “the secretary of state.” These are, after all, public officials sworn to serve the nation and the Constitution – not just the man who appointed them.
It’s a stylistic detail, but quite revealing of Obama’s exalted view of himself.
Not surprising, perhaps, in a man whose major achievement before acceding to the presidency was writing two biographies – both about himself.
Obama is not the first president with a large streak of narcissism. But the others had equally expansive feelings about their country.
Obama’s modesty about America would be more understandable if he treated himself with the same reserve. What is odd is to have a president so convinced of his own magnificence – yet not of his own country’s.

God Tabernacles with Man – Number 7
July 12, 2010
http://www.tribulationperiod.com/
There is no question that the Feast
of Tabernacles will be observed in Jerusalem by all nations during the reign of Israel’s returned Messiah. Both Zechariah and Isaiah describe the observance of the Feast.
Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Isaiah 66:23 – And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon
to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
The King, the Son of God, the Son of David, the Messiah, the Anointed One, was born to tabernacle with Israel, but they rejected him.
They suffered no birth pains when he was born, and when he was crucified. They began when Titus leveled Jerusalem and the Temple some 40 years after his resurrection, and have continued ever since. Israel’s final, and hardest birth pains, will begin about 1260 days before he returns at his Second Advent.
His Second Advent will not only bring him to birth as Israel’s Messiah, but he will be accompanied by all of those who received him as their Messiah since he was first promised as the Salvation Seed in Genesis 3:15.
Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
He was sent to shepherd his flock, the nation of Israel, but only the little ones among proud Israel would receive him as Messiah, and he turned his hand over them as his flock, and since that time his Spirit has created many such little flocks across the earth, made up of both Jew and Gentile.
Zechariah 13:7 – Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
John 10:24-31 – Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt
? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. [25] Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. [26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. [30] I and my Father are one.
[31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Acts 20:21 – Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:18 – For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Acts 2:40,41 – And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. [41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Ephesians 2:22 – In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 3:21 – Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
Amen.
The “little ones” of Zechariah 13:7 were cast out by the Jewish religious leaders because of what they preached in the name of Christ, but when he appears at his Second Advent, they will all be rejoicing, and Israel will be very ashamed for having crucified him.
Isaiah 66:5 – Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Zechariah 12:9-11 – And it shall come to pass in that day,
that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. [10] And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. [11] In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem,
Revelation 1:7 – Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth sh
all wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Hizbullah warns Israel on Syrian TV
By JPOST.COM STAFF
07/09/2010 23:04
Deputy says Israel will suffer high losses in next war.
Israel will suffer tremendous casualties in another war, Hizbullah’s deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Friday in an interview with Syrian television cited by Press TV.
“If the result of the July [2006] war w as
a failure to the Israelis, then Israel would suffer a big loss in its next aggression,” Qassem was quoted as saying.
Qassem’s remarks came on the fourth anniversary of Israel’s Second Lebanon War and were considered a response to the IDF’s recent declassification and release of high-quality intelligence of Hizbullah positions in southern Lebanon.
Many interpreted the IDF’s publicizing of the intelligence as an attempt both to deter Hizbullah attacks and to prepare the Israeli public for a future war should it be deemed necessary.
On Wednesday,
top IDF officers revealed that the air force today has thousands
of designated targets it can bomb if war were to break out. Some of them, like those that appear on the maps of the southern Lebanese village of el-Khiam that were declassified on Wednesday, are of arms caches, command-and-control centers and rocket launchers; others are likely long-range rockets, like the highly accurate M600 or Scuds, which Syria recently transferred to Lebanon.
In the four years that have passed since the Second Lebanon War, both the IDF and Hizbullah have been busy studying their mistakes and implementing the necessary lessons. The IDF, for example, significantly increased training regimens, developed and procured active-protection systems for tanks and armored personnel carriers and is investing in building new urban warfare training centers due to an understanding that the next conflict would be fought in the narrow streets of southern Lebanese villages.
Yaakov Katz contributed to this report.

IDF reveals Hizbullah positions
By YAAKOV KATZ
07/07/2010
Ahead of the anniversary of the Second Lebanon War, the IDF Northern Command on Wednesday declassified for the first time evidence of Hizbullah’s growing presence inside close to 200 villages in southern Lebanon.
Using the village of el-Hiyyam – located about 20km north of Kiryat Shmona- as an example, the IDF showed with extensive footage, videos and maps the homes that Hizbullah has taken over and used to establish weapons storage and command and control centers.
The visual materials also revealed the location of the Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), some of them weighing up to half a ton, which are located throughout the village.
The IDF recently dispatched a delegation to United Nations headquarters in New York to present the evidence to the international community. The evidence was also presented to the new commander of UNIFIL, Maj-Gen Alberto Asarta Cuevas.
The IDF said that Hizbullah today maintains a force of about 20,000 guerrilla fighters throughout southern Lebanon, who are tasked with deterring an IDF ground incursion, as well as activating Hizbullah’s extensive missile capability which allows them to strike any point within Israel today.
Hizbullah is estimated to have 40,000 short-, medium- and long-range missiles.
Hizbullah has split up its forces in southern Lebanon into three different divisions: The Southern Division, the IDF said, consists of 5,000 guerrilla fighters, 30,000 missiles and rockets as well as a number of subdivisions. Each subdivision is responsible for approximately 15 villages. Each village contains between 20 and 200 fighters, hundreds of mortar shells, hundreds of short-and medium- range rockets, as well as a number of command centers.
In the maps unveiled by the IDF, Hizbullah weapons caches are shown approximately 50 meters from schools and hospitals. Storage and command centers are located in most cases inside or adjacent to the homes of Lebanese civilians.
‘It is important to show the world that Hizbullah has built up its military infrastructure inside villages with the objective that we will kill the maximum amount of civilians in a future conflict” a senior IDF officer said Wednesday.
“We want to warn that if we are attacked by Hizbullah – this may happen.”
While four years after the Lebanon War, the prevalent IDF assessment is that war with Hizbullah is currently of low probability, the military still fears that Hizbullah will try to attack Israel to avenge the 2008 assassination of the group’s military commander, Imad Mugniyeh in Damascus.
The scenarios the IDF prepares for includes a possible kidnapping along the border, and to infiltrate an Israeli borderline community.
“We see Hizbullah’s [strong] grip inside the villages and we view an infiltration into Israel as the primary threat,” Colonel Ronen Moreli, commander of Brigade 300, told reporters Wednesdsay.
