It is both fortunate and unfortunate that the two Excerpts which follow express my sentiments also. Fortunate in that it is one of the surest signs Israel’s Messiah will come soon to put down the rise of Islamic Jihad, but unfortunate in that believers in droves are also deceived by the rhetoric of Obama. The Islamic faith of the spirit of Antichrist, and the strong delusion of which Paul wrote concerning the unveiling of the Antichrist. It is the strong delusion now believed by more than one sixth of the world population – It is the Islamic faith and the growing radicalism within it. It is from this radicalism I believe the Wicked one is likely to be revealed at some point in time between 2010 and 2015.

II Thessalonians 2:8-11 – And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

This is God’s invitation to all who are troubled by the fast moving, dynamic events that are occurring in the world in these last days of the Age of the Gentiles. It is quite possible to ‘rest’ in Jesus in these troubled times.

Obama’s stunning offense to Israel and the Jewish people

President Obama’s Cairo speech was nothing short of an earthquake — a distortion of history, an insult to the Jewish people, and an abandonment of very real human-rights victims in the Arab and Muslim worlds. It is not surprising that Arabs and Muslims in a position to speak were enthusiastic. It is more surprising that American commentators are praising the speech for its political craftiness, rather than decrying its treachery of historic proportions.

Obama equated the Holocaust to Palestinian “dislocation.” In his words: “The Jewish people were persecuted. …anti-Semitism …culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust…. Six million Jews were killed…. On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people — Muslims and Christians — have suffered in pursuit of a homeland.” This parallelism amounts to the fictitious Arab narrative that the deliberate mass murder of six million Jews for the crime of being Jewish is analogous to a Jewish-driven violation of Palestinian rights.

Speaking in an Arab country to Arabs and Muslims, Obama pointedly singled out European responsibility for the Holocaust — “anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust.” In other contexts, the European emphasis would be a curiosity. In Egypt, it was no accident.

The Arab storyline has always been that Arabs have been forced to suffer the creation of Israel for a European crime.

In fact, Obama’s Egyptian hosts would have been only too familiar with Arab anti-Semitism during World War II (and beyond). After all, Obama was speaking in the country that schooled and later welcomed back Grand Mufti Haj Muhammed Amin al-Husseini as a national hero. This was the man who spent the war years in Berlin as Hitler’s guest facilitating the murder of Jews

Obama thought he would prove his even-handedness towards Israel by boasting of Friday’s trip to a concentr

ation camp and rejecting Holocaust denial. In this context, however, the move of doing Jews these supposed favors appears to be cynical political opportunism, especially having just set the Holocaust side-by-side with the “suffering” and “pain” of Palestinians “for more than 60 years.” After all, the president made no emotive references to the “intolerable” “suffering” of Israeli victims of Arab terror “for more than 60 years.” The word “terrorism” never left his lips. Far from bolstering the fight against terror and the anti-Semitism driving it, such maneuvers embolden more hate and violence against Israelis.

Instead, Obama sought Arab and Muslim approbation by drawing a moral equivalence between those who have rejected Israel from the outset (and still seek its outright destruction or a “right of return” intended to terminate a Jewish majority) and the Jews who have kept them at bay since May 14, 1948. In his words: “There has been a stalemate: two peoples with legitimate aspirations, each with a painful history…. It’s easy to point fingers — for Palestinians to point to the displacement brought about by Israel’s founding, and for Israelis to point to the constant hostility and attacks.” Calling the Israeli-Arab conflict a “stalemate” represents an abysmal failure to acknowledge historical reality. The modern state of Israel emerged after an internationally approved partition plan of November 1947 that would have created two states, one Jewish and one Arab; this plan was accepted by Jews and rejected by Arabs. One people has always been prepared to live in peace, and the other has chosen war in 1948 and 1956 and 1967 and 1973 and 1982, and renewed terrorism after its every loss.

Bereft of the most basic understanding of Judaism and Jewish history, Obama claimed that “the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied,” for “around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries.” A Jewish homeland in Israel is not rooted in tragedy or in centuries of persecution around the world. It is rooted in a wondrous, unbroken, and spiritual relationship to the land of Israel and to Jerusalem for thousands of years. Coupled with the president’s stress on “European responsibility” for the Holocaust, his words reinforced the lethal belief that Israel is the creature of transplanted, alien Jews.

Obama’s stunning offense to Israel and the Jewish people went farther. Israelis have come to occupy territory in response to Arab-initiated wars of intended annihilation, but Obama analogized Palestinian “daily humiliations …that come with occupation” to the “humiliation of segregation” of black slaves in America and the “moral authority” of “people from South Africa.” His Arab audience understood that the president of the United States had just given a nod to the single most potent defamation of the Jewish state today — the allegation that Israel is a racist, apartheid state.

After expressing his belief in a moral equivalence between the claims of Palestinians and the claims of the victims of slavery and apartheid, Obama juxtaposed his admission of Israel’s “right to exist” with his assertion that “the United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.” Every word of this speech was carefully weighed. It was therefore no mishap that for the first time a U.S. president has denied the legitimacy of Israeli settlements, period. Such an assertion abrogates every agreement between Arabs and Israelis, which have always left the ultimate determination of

which settlements will stay or go to a bilateral peace process and final status negotiations. Even the Roadmap reads: “Phase III: Permanent Status Agreement and End of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict …a final, permanent status resolution …on borders, Jerusalem, refugees, settlements.”

Furthermore, the idea that Jews are not permitted to live in any territory that might become part of a future Palestinian state means only one thing: apartheid Palestine. Twenty percent of Israel’s population,1.5 million people, are Arab (with more democratic rights than in any Arab state). But the notion of any Jewish presence in Palestinian territory is allegedly an abomination. Why should a future transfer of governmental authority mean “no Jews allowed”?

But judging by Obama’s speech, only one “dislocation” counts. After placing the Holocaust side-by-side with the Palestinian “pain of dislocation,” he ignored the dislocation of 800,000 Jewish refugees from all over the Arab Middle East in response to the creation of Israel.

Jewish refugees from Arab intolerance were not the only human-rights casualties the president chose to dismiss. Three different times Obama defended the right of Muslim women to cover up their bodies.

Never once did he mention the right of Muslim women to refuse to cover up their bodies — a right denied on pain of arrest and death by many of the very communities he was addressing. In the name of “freedom of religion” he chose to “welcome efforts like Saudi Arabian King Abdullah’s interfaith dialogue.” The Saudi Arabian government criminalizes the public practice of any religion but Islam. This manufactured human-rights fantasy has done a tremendous disservice to the oppressed across the Arab and Muslim world.

President Obama’s meticulously planned and executed Egyptian speech marks the lowest point in the U.S. presidency’s understanding and appreciation of the Jewish state, its history, and its people’s future. Added to his administration’s evident infirmity on Iran, the speech of June 4, 2009, by the supposed leader of the free world will be remembered as a major decline in human history.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

The settlements canard

Obama the Humble declares there will be no more “dictating” to other countries. We should “forge partnerships as opposed to simply dictating solutions,” he told the G-20 summit.

In Middle East negotiations, he told Al-Arabiya, America will henceforth “start by listening, because all too often the United States starts by dictating.” An admirable sentiment. It applies to everyone – Iran, Russia, Cuba, Syria, even Venezuela.

Except Israel. Israel is ordered to freeze all settlement activity.

As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton imperiously explained the diktat: “a stop to settlements – not some settlements, not outposts, not natural-growth exceptions.” What’s the issue

? No “natural growth” means strangling to death the thriving towns close to the 1949 armistice line, many of them suburbs of Jerusalem, that every negotiation over the past decade has envisioned Israel retaining.

It means no increase in population.

Which means no babies.

Or if you have babies, no housing for them – not even within the existing town boundaries. Which means for every child born, someone has to move out. No community can survive like that.

The obvious objective is to undermine and destroy these

towns – even before negotiations.

To what end? Over the last decade, the US government has understood that any final peace treaty would involve Israel retaining some of the close-in settlements – and compensating the Palestinians accordingly with land from within Israel itself.

That was envisioned in the Clinton plan in the Camp David negotiations in 2000, and again at Taba in 2001.

After all, why turn towns to rubble when, instead, Arabs and Jews can stay in their homes if the 1949 armistice line is shifted slightly into the Palestinian side to capture the major close-in Jewish settlements, and then shifted into Israeli territory to capture Israeli land to give to the Palestinians

?

This idea is not only logical, not only accepted by both Democratic and Republican administrations for the last decade, but was agreed to in writing in the letters of understanding exchanged between Israel and the United States in 2004 – and subsequently overwhelmingly endorsed by a concurrent resolution of Congress.

Yet the Obama State Department has repeatedly refused to endorse these agreements or even say it will honor them. This from a president who piously insists that all parties to the conflict honor previous obligations.

The entire “natural growth” issue is a concoction.

It’s farcical to suggest that the peace process is moribund because a teacher in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem is making an addition to her house to accommodate new grandchildren – when Gaza is run by Hamas terrorists dedicated to permanent war with Israel and when Mahmoud Abbas, having turned down every one of Ehud Olmert’s peace offers, brazenly declares that he is in a waiting mode – waiting for Hamas to become moderate and for Israel to cave – before he’ll do anything to advance peace.

IN HIS MUCH-HERALDED “Muslim world” address in Cairo Thursday, Obama declared that the Palestinian people’s “situation” is “intolerable.” Indeed it is, the result of 60 years of Palestinian leadership that gave its people corruption, tyranny, religious intolerance and forced militarization; leadership that for three generations – Haj Amin al-Husseini in 1947, Yasser Arafat in 2000, Abbas in December 2008 – rejected every offer

of independence and dignity, choosing destitution and despair rather than accept any settlement not accompanied by the extinction of Israel.

In the 16 years since the Oslo Accords turned the West Bank and Gaza over to the Palestinians, their leaders – Fatah and Hamas alike – built no schools, no roads, no courthouses, no hospitals, no institutions that would relieve their people’s suffering. Instead they poured everything into an infrastructure of war and terror, all the while depositing billions (from gullible Western donors) into their Swiss bank accounts.

Obama says he came to Cairo to tell the truth. But he uttered not a word of that. Instead, among all the bromides and lofty sentiments, he issued but one concrete declaration of new American policy: “The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements,” thus reinforcing the myth that Palestinian misery and statelessness are the fault of Israel and the settlements.

Blaming Israel and picking a fight over “natural growth” may curry favor with the Muslim “street.” But it will only induce the Arab states to do like Abbas: sit and wait for America to deliver Israel on a platter.

Which makes the Obama strategy not just dishonorable but self-defeating.

I retired at the National Security Agency (NSA) in 1971 after 20+ years of active duty. During that 20+ years I plotted hundreds of thermonuclear fallout zone plots for targets in the Soviet Union and China which would have been used for damage estimations had either of these nations first launched against us. I forecasted the movement of thermonuclear plums from the Soviet detonations on Novaya Zemlya Island in the northeastern Barents Sea, across the eastern half of the Soviet Union, and into the Pacific Ocean, and issued weather reports at launch time of countless Soviet SS-9 missile launches at Plesesk north of Moscow and Turatam on the Aral Sea. But in all my years of active service I never believed, nor do I believe now, that the final war of the Age of the Gentiles will be nuclear. There might be launches at the final battle of Armageddon, but I do not think it will even happen then.

I have believed since 1967 that God will use his own creation, the heavens and the earth, to fulfill his own prophecies by his own power, unleashing them to generate the terrible upheavals and horizontal movements in the tectonic plates to produce chains of great earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions

blasting fire and brimstone into the earth’s atmosphere, across the surface of the entire earth. He used his earth and his heavens to bring judgment and destruction upon man by water in the flood, and this time he will send tectonic shaking and fire.

Genesis 6:11-13 – The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I WILL DESTROY THEM WITH THE EARTH.

He used his earth and his heavens to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah by brimstone and fire, and across the entire earth “even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” as the Age of the Gentiles ends at Christ’s Second Advent.

Luke 17:28-30 – Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed

them all. [30] EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.

God promised man he would never again flood the earth, but he made no such promise concerning using the earth to destroy mankind “with the earth. In fact he has very clearly indicated his next destruction upon sinful man will be by fire. The following Scriptures, beginning with Malachi predict the Second Advent judgment by the Sun of righteousness will be by fire and tectonic chaos.

Malachi 4:1 – For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. [2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. [3[ And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Isaiah 13:13 – Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Haggai 2:6,7 – For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; [7] And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 24:1 – Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

Isaiah 24:5,6 – The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. [6] Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Isaiah 24:19 – The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Revelation 6:12-14 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 8:7 – The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Revelation 16:16-21 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. [18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. [19] And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. [20] And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. [21] And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Daniel 12:4 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

God advises us through Daniel that a particular circumstance will occur “at the time of the end,” specifically that “many shall run to and fro,” and, as a result, man’s “knowledge shall be increased.” Man, in his running to and fro, both across the earth and in space, did, in the twentieth century, accrue more knowledge about the earth than he grasped in the thousands of years from Adam’s creation until the beginning of that century. The data from hundreds of satellite eyes in space, used in spectrographic color analysis of the earth’s crust, has been allied with seismological data by a worldwide linkage of computer technology to allow man to discover an endless array of facts about the external and internal structure of the earth. Within the last thirty years man has more than doubled his factual knowledge of the exterior and interior of the earth, yet he has barely scratched the thin outer veneer of the unlimited knowledge of God, as prophesied by Daniel. This “time of the end” knowledge has begun to unseal many of the prophecies, and to open the “shut up” words of latter day events.

Today, when you look at the tectonic plate structure, found in countless numbers of books today, you see thousands of miles of lines between tectonic plates, which represent cracks in the earth that weave their way erratically down through the earth, eventually making contact with great underground lakes of red-hot melted rock called magma. These geological faults are not the figment of scientific imagination.

They are no longer based on theory or hypothesis. They have, within the past hundred years, advanced from hypothesis to theory to fact. They are tremendous cracks in the crust of the earth that have the full potential to fulfill many of the terrifying events in the book of Revelation. Because these deep geological faults interconnect, they have separated the outer surface of the earth into vast chunks of crust called tectonic plates. These plates are usually named for the geographical area that lies atop them, and they are responsible for the earthquake and volcanic activity in these areas. Just as a ship floats on water, so do these vast pieces of the earth’s crust float on deep oceans of hot liquid rock. They float in slightly different to opposite directions at differing speeds.

Movement is perhaps only a few centimeters every year in some zones, but can be several per year in some places, and, at times, can suddenly move several feet in a local area. They move to produce over ninety-five percent of the world’s earthquake activity, as well as more than ninety percent of the world’s volcanic activity. Seismic topography, along with horizontal surface and vertical satellite laser beam measurements, has now proven without question that the plates exist and move to produce most of the world’s earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. As the plates of the earth press against one another horizontal and vertical tectonic pressures often freeze vast zones together. As the plates strain against one another in titanic combat something finally snaps, and they break free in a local area. This abrupt loosing produces the massive vibrations we identify as an earthquake.

The Lord indicated “and great earthquakes shall be in divers places” in the last days. Man, in his running “to and fro,” has now gained the increase in knowledge to understand how earthquakes and volcanoes are produced by God’s creation. The same Christ, who uttered “and great earthquakes shall be in divers places,” already knew what man was to discover more than 1900 years later.

The prophecy, “and knowledge shall be increased,” was fulfilled in the last century. The Holy Spirit, who inspired these words of Daniel and all the other prophets, will use his prior creation, the earth, to fulfill these prophecies of earthquake, fire, and brimstone, and he will do it by his own power.

The horrifying scenes of destruction and chaos presented by John in the book of Revelation, and by the Old Testament writers are largely descriptive of a tremendous geological upheaval of the crust of the earth by the power of its Creator.

So I really don’t think Israel will have to have Hillary Clinton’s nuclear umbrella!

Clinton: Iranian nuke attack on Israel like an attack on us

Despite its decision to pursue diplomatic negotiations with Teheran over its nuclear program, the United States would view an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel as an attack on itself, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Sunday, asserting that there would be retaliation for any such attack.

Speaking to ABC News “This Week,” Clinton described the prospect of engagement with Iran as a great opportunity, saying that a diplomatic process “means that for the first time, we would actually be sitting at a table across from Iranians authorized by the supreme leader to talk with us about a whole range of issues. That gives us information and insight that we don’t have.”

Such talks, she said, would help determine the real goals of

the Iranian nuclear program. “We understand the legitimate right of nations to have access to peaceful, nuclear energy,” Clinton said. “If that is at the core of what they want, there are ways of accommodating that do not lead to a nuclear weapon.”

However, she continued, negotiations would not negate the primary goal of the engagement, “which is to do everything we can to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear weapons state.”

Clinton’s interviewer, George Stephanopoulos, went on to ask whether the Obama administration’s policy currently echoed her own campaign statements regarding a nuclear umbrella that Washington would provide Israel.

“I think it is US policy to the extent that we have alliances and understandings with a number of nations. They may not be formal as it is with NATO, but, I don’t think there is any doubt in anyone’s mind that were Israel to suffer a nuclear attack by Iran, there would be retaliation,” Clinton said.

The secretary of state, however, did not rule out the possibility of a preemptive strike on Iran. Alluding to Israel’s reported possession of nuclear arms, she said that the US did not want another arms race triggered by a nuclear-armed Iran. Teheran, Clinton said, would perhaps be better persuaded to drop its nuclear ambitions if it were faced by the prospect of a preemptive strike by either the US or Israel.

“I think part of what is clear is we want to avoid a Middle East arms race which leads to nuclear weapons being in the possession of other countries in the Middle East,” Clinton said. “And we want to make clear that there are consequences and costs. Now, let me just put it this way.

If Iran is seeking security, if they believe […] that the United States might attack them […] Part of what we have to make clear to the Iranians is that their pursuit of nuclear weapons will actually trigger greater insecurity, because right now, many of the nations in the neighborhood […] other Arab countries are deeply concerned about Iran having nuclear weapons. So, does Iran want to face a battery of nuclear weapons countries?”

Clinton reiterated that Washington’s overtures were not “part of an electoral ploy or propaganda” and that the US would therefore wait out the Iranian election before stepping up its diplomatic efforts.

Commenting on the recent escalation of the debate between Israel and the US regarding the settlements and the existence – or non existence – of an earlier agreement regarding continued Israeli construction in the large settlement blocs, Clinton reiterated that any such agreement had not been “made part of the official record of the negotiations, as it was passed on to our administration.”

Alluding to the ill-fated Camp David Summit near the end of her husband’s presidential term, Clinton said, “We were very close in 2000.

And it’s heartbreaking to see where we are today. And we can’t just stand by and expect time to work its magic […] We see historical, demographic, political, technological trends that are very troubling as to Israel’s future. At the same time, there is a legitimate aspiration of the Palestinian people that needs to be addressed.”
