of a War on All Fronts!’

After 59 years of real and threatened war with the forces of Islam around them, I believe Israel has finally awakened to the reality that only one final conclusive war, with all of her enemies from Morocco to Iran and from Turkey to Sudan, is the only way she can have a peace, which is not continually marred by minor and major conflicts during short intervals of so-called peace. It appears Israel is getting ready for a great war to break forth before too much longer. I believe this is wise for two reasons.

blinklist com levitrai

nolvadex tablets

For those who do not believe the Bible predictions of a great war, I would simply say from a secular standpoint – It has to occur because the rise of fanaticism in the Muslim religious culture will never be able to allow itself to continually exist alongside Judaism and Christianity, without causing an eventual great war to break out. From a prophetic standpoint, the Scripture is quite clear that such a great war will occur to end this particular age of God’s dealings with man.

So, from either a secular or prophetic standpoint, a final great war must eventually break out with Islam on one side and Christians and Jews on the other. The conflict began in the Middle East and it will end in the Middle East only at the coming of the Messiah.

I took my title for this Blog from the tenth paragraph in the article that follows by Yakov Katz in the Jerusalem Post.

Massive IDF drill prepares for Syrian attack on the Golan

Yaakov Katz, THE JERUSALEM POST

April 27, 2007

The IDF on Thursday held intensive training maneuvers in preparation for a feared Syrian attack on the Golan Heights.

Hundreds of tanks

ands of soldiers, backed by helicopters and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, massed in the Judean Desert to drill simulations of war. The training exercise focused on Brigade 401 and its utilization of Israel’s most advanced tank – the Merkava Mark 4 – against the Syrian advanced Russian-made T-72.

Since the Second Lebanon War, Military Intelligence has claimed that war with Syria is now closer than ever, and the IDF is on heightened alert in the North in preparation for the possibility of a surprise attack.

President Bashar Assad, analysts have said, was empowered by Hizbullah’s surprise success while fighting the IDF.

The assessment is that he might be motivated to launch hostilities in an effort to retrieve the Golan Heights, either by initiating a surprise attack to capture one or two Israeli communities or by firing long-range ballistic missiles

at the home front.

The assumption within the defense establishment is that while war with Syria would definitely be of a conventional nature, Damascus would most likely utilize its strong ballistic missile arsenal and its division of several thousand commandos.

Thursday’s drill indicated that the IDF has not ruled out the possibility that a war would also entail tank battles, once believed to have been a relic of historic wars like the Six Day War in 1967 and the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

The simulation began Thursday with the tanks gathering in an offensive posture on the outskirts of the battlefield. The first mission given to the armored forces was to create passageways and build makeshift bridges over deep ravines, similar to the valleys and rivers in the Golan Heights.

The tanks were backed up by artillery fire and supported by infantry troops, some traveling in armored personnel carriers and others being flown into the field by transport helicopters.

One of the interesting changes instituted in the exercise was the use of real IDF Merkava tanks to impersonate Syrian ones.

cipro 500

In the past, the IDF refrained from using tanks to impersonate the enemy due to the high cost, making do with Hummer patrol vehicles. This time, the army apparently wanted the real thing.

“We are preparing for the possibility of war on all fronts,” said Col. Roni Belkin, deputy commander of Division 162. “To do that, we need to find a solution for a wide range of scenarios.”

In one of the possible scenarios envisaged by analysts, Syrian soldiers sweep across the Israeli side of the border, taking over the northern community of Merom Golan with an elite commando unit from the 14th Special Forces Division of the Syrian Armed Forces. Simultaneously, Syrian Chief of Staff Gen. Ali Habib gives the order and hundreds of T-72 tanks from the Damascus-based Republican Guard Mechanized Division – alongside thousands of commandos and infantry troops – begin deploying along the Syrian side of the border, ready for a broad offensive. The Syrian ballistic missile division goes into high alert and coordinates are set for the long-range Scud D, capable of hitting any target inside Israel.

On the Israeli side, in this scenario, Northern Command and Military Intelligence are taken by surprise.

IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi quickly comes to his senses and orders the mobilization of the Armored Corps and Infantry Corps on the Israeli side of the Golan Heights. Full-fledged war seems about to erupt.

Not long ago, this kind of sequence would have seemed inconceivable, but since the Second Lebanon War it has turned into a genuine concern for the Israeli defense establishment.

Syrian minister threatened to use military action to redeem the Golan Heights.
If war with Syria erupts, the IDF would also face a strong array of advanced antitank missiles, which Hizbullah successfully used last summer against IDF tanks.

During the last battle of

the war – what has become known as the battle of the Saluki – Brigade 401 lost 12 soldiers to Hizbullah antitank missiles. The assumption is that this weapon would play a key role in war with Syria.

To deal with this threat, the IDF has announced plans to purchase, by the end of the year, several dozen “Trophy” protection systems developed by Rafael, which are capable of intercepting incoming antitank missiles.

According to Brig.-Gen. Halutzy Rudoy of the Armored Corps, the most significant aspect of the exercise was to learn how to effectively use the tank in the battlefield. During the Lebanon war, tank crews failed to activate smoke systems that can create tank cover as it maneuvers through enemy territory.

“The tank is still an excellent tool for achieving our goals in the battlefield,” Rudoy said. “But you need to know how to use it.”

The YNet article, which follows the Scriptures in our introduction, is a warning to Israel of a possible future war with its own non-PA Arab population.

When the final war of the Age of the Gentiles begins, Israel will be going internally against Hamas, Islamic Jihad, al-Aksa Martyrs Berigades, al-Qaeda, and its own Arab population, plus externally against Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and Iran.

Israel will initially be driven into the Negev Wilderness, where one third of her survivors will remain trapped for some three and one-half years.

Yisrael Beiteinu member warns of ‘second war for independence’ against Israeli Arabs, criticizes country’s ‘passivity’

MK Israel Hasson (Yisrael Beiteinu (said on Thursday that in a “normal” country, former Knesset Member Azmi Bishara, would already be behind bars.

Bishara, who left Israel nearly three weeks ago, is under investigation for suspected collaboration with the enemy during the Second Lebanon War last summer.

“If we don’t wake up now, we will have to fight for our independence again very soon.

It will be a second war for independence against Israel’s Arabs who will be supported by Hamas,” Hasson said.

“A few years ago, the Balad movement was comprised of 200 intellectuals.

Hasson blamed Israel for “turning a blind eye” to the MK’s connection with the country’s enemies, while Arab movements were publishing articles calling for readers not to accept Israel as a country for the Jewish people.

“Under the auspices of democracy … we are responding passively and facing the process of growing agitation amongst Israel’s Arabs who are not willing to accept the fact the country is a Jewish one.

and all the other ungodly home grown internal terrorist groups will attack Israel from within when the attack comes from the north. My guesstimate as to the most likely time for this attack to occur is some point in time between 2008 and 2012, but it is a guess, no more and no less. It is likely minor conflicts will occur between the aforementioned Islamic components and Israel before the ‘big one’ is launched, one of them could occur even before 2008. There have been numerous predictions of a war breaking out this summer, but I suspect it would be more of a conflict than a full blown war.

I believe the forces of Islam are going to wait to launch the ‘big one’ when they have better chances for it to be successful, which would be at a point in time after American troops are pulled out of Iraq, and a seven or eight year truce (Hudna) had been declared between Israel and the Hamas, Fatah, al- Aksa Martyrs Brigades, and Islamic Jihad.

The two ‘back to back’ articles by Yaakov Katz in the Jerusalem Post, along with excerpts from the two articles which follow, give the latest ‘skinny’ on the Gaza Strip scenario.

Begin Excerpts from Article 1

Despite attacks, large-scale Gaza operation not expected

Yaakov Katz, THE JERUSALEM POST

April 24, 2007

The IDF will not embark on a large-scale operation in the Gaza Strip despite the rocket and mortar attacks launched on Israel on Independence Day, security and government officials estimated on Tuesday evening.

Instead, the IDF was expected to carry out a targeted response.

The barrages of Kassam rockets and mortar shells Hamas fired at Israel on Tuesday morning were meant to provide cover for and distract attention from an attempted infiltration by a terror cell, whose members intended to kidnap IDF soldiers deployed along the Gaza border, IDF sources reported Tuesday afternoon.

The sources said that the army’s heightened alert, as well as a quick response by ground troops and IAF helicopters that had been hovering over Gaza, foiled the attempt. According to preliminary reports, no cell managed to cross into Israel.

The IDF has been on high alert in recent weeks, ever since receiving intelligence that Hamas was planning to abduct soldiers in a raid similar to the one near Kerem Shalom in June, 2006 in which Cpl.

after clomid

Gilad Schalit was captured.

According to an IDF source, Tuesday’s attack was “Hizbullah-style,” in that the group launched rockets to distract the troops on patrol and provide cover for the cell members’ movements.

Begin Excerpts from Article 2

Analysis: Hamas copies the Hizbullah model

Yaakov Katz, THE JERUSALEM POST

April 25, 2007

Tuesday’s rocket barrage on the western Negev brought back memories of July 12 – the day reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were kidnapped by Hizbullah guerrillas along the Lebanese border.

Back then, the morning started with a barrage of mortars and rockets that served as cover for the Hizbullah squad that abducted the two soldiers patrolling the border.

On Tuesday, the IDF awoke to a similar scenario. Dozens of mortar shells and Kassam rockets pounded the Western Negev, from Ashkelon in the north to Gaza-belt communities in the south. Security officials said they had not seen such a massive onslaught over the past few years.

Hamas quickly took responsibility for the attacks; the IDF – acting on intelligence and other findings from the field – raised suspicions that the rocket fire was meant to serve as cover for the kidnapping of a soldier.

More than anything, the kidnapping attempt – if that’s what it was – has once again proven Hamas’s resolve to continue its attacks, not just shootings or roadside bombs, but strategic attacks like the kidnappings near Lebanon and the abduction of Cpl. Gilad Schalit just outside Gaza last summer.

buy zithromax non-prescription

Despite joining Fatah in a Palestinian Authority national unity government, Hamas is directly involved in terrorism. Just like the Seder night car bomb attempt in Tel Aviv, the defense establishment believes Tuesday’s attempted kidnapping was approved and directed by Hamas’s entire senior echelon, particularly Khaled Mashaal in Damascus, who has of late made efforts to appear moderate.

The attack also demonstrates the close relationship that has been developed over

high quality flagyl er

the years between Hamas and Hizbullah, and not just in ideological terms, with both terrorist organizations believing Israel must be destroyed.

Following the Second Lebanon War last summer, Military Intelligence claimed Hamas had “drawn power and inspiration” from Hizbullah’s surprising success in fighting the IDF. Tuesday’s kidnapping attack is evidence that Hamas is learning tactics and operational know-how from its northern ally.

buy generic viagra generic cialis meltabs caverta

The use of rockets and mortars as cover for the abduction of a soldier is classic Hizbullah modus operandi and has been used successfully by the group twice: last summer and in 2000, when it kidnapped three IDF soldiers.

Hamas has also adopted Hizbullah’s use of antitank missiles – which wreaked destruction on IDF tanks during the war – and has smuggled an unprecedented number of them into the Gaza Strip from Sinai this year. It is also said to be building underground bunkers and creating Hizbullah-like “nature reserves,” camouflaged systems of tunnels and bunkers that the IDF had difficulty locating and destroying during the war.

With Hamas slowly but surely turning into the Hizbullah of Gaza, the question now becomes, when will Israel decide to do what it did last summer – invade to try to break the terror group’s back?

At the moment, the focus of Israel’s efforts vis- -vis the Palestinians is on the diplomatic track.

cipro 500

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has committed to meeting with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on a biweekly basis, with a commitment for one of the next meetings to be in the PA. Israel has also accepted US General Keith Dayton’s plan to transfer weapons to the Abbas loyalists in the Gaza Strip. A massive invasi on of Gaza does not appear to be

on the table.

Hamas’ Motivation / Renewed force, renewed force, renewed truce

April 25, 2007

By Ze’ev Schiff

Hamas is under heavy pressure from the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security service in the West Bank, and therefore, it resumed rocket and mortar fire at Israel from the Gaza Strip. Its assumption is that it has an operational advantage against civilian communities in the Negev – an edge it would like to utilize to obtain a cease-fire in the West Bank. However, the chances of Israel agreeing to this are currently nil.

From Israel’s perspective, the main danger is that Hamas will surprise the IDF by kidnapping a soldier or civilian, just as it did last June, when it kidnapped Gilad Shalit and killed two other soldiers.

cheap antibiotics online

This danger should not be underestimated: The IDF’s operational deployment in Gaza is nonideal, entailing various risks.

reverse directory

Abu Obeid, a spokesman for Hamas’ military wing, claimed yesterday that Israel long ago abandoned the Gaza cease-fire, and therefore, it no longer exists for Hamas, either. “We will let the missiles talk!” he declared. According to him, yesterday’s attacks were a response to Israel’s “crimes” in Jenin, Nablus and Gaza – though they may also have been meant as cover for an aborted ground operation.

800 bactrim ds

And in Damascus, Mahmoud Nazel, a Hamas leader, urged all the Palestinian factions to prepare for renewed fighting against Israel.

doxycycline cat

Palestinian announcements exaggerated the number of rockets and mortars fired at Israel, perhaps because some landed in Gaza instead. In recent weeks, there have also been several incidents of sniper fire at Israelis by Hamas snipers.

It is clear that Hamas is under heavy pressure in the West Bank. Thus far, all its efforts to step up its operations there have failed.

nolvadex tablets

Israel has largely succeeded in isolating Gaza from the West Bank, and has thus far prevented virtually all attempts to smuggle rockets into the West Bank or to manufacture them there – though a few primitive rockets, with a very short range, were found near Bethlehem, apparently destined for use against Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood. And every week, Israel arrests dozens of Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives, as well as Tanzim operatives who receive assistance from Hezbollah.

Hamas views all this as a major operational failure.

body bro good levitra stuff up whats yea yea

Apparently, there is therefore a growing view within the organization that it is worth heating up the Gaza front again in order to produce new cease-fire talks in which Hamas could achieve a reduction of Israel’s pressure on it in the West Bank. Any such agreement would also make it easier for Hamas to set up Qassam rocket manufactories in the West Bank.

Begin Excerpts from Article 4

Hamas plans to kidnap more soldiers

Khaled Abu Tomeh, THE JERUSALEM POST

April 26, 2007

Hamas will resume its efforts to try to kidnap Israeli soldiers to trade them for Palestinians held in Israeli jails, Khalil Abu Lailah, a senior Hamas official in the Gaza Strip, said Thursday.

blinklist com levitrai

Earlier this week, the armed wing of Hamas, Izaddin Kassam, denied Israeli allegations that its members had planned to kidnap an IDF soldier on Independence Day.

But Abu Lailah, who is a top political leader of Hamas, confirmed that his movement had plans to abduct soldiers.

“Hamas’s decision to kidnap Israeli soldiers is not just a threat,” he said. “For us, this is a strategic issue aimed at securing the release of all our prisoners from Israeli jails. Hamas has made it very clear that it will continue to kidnap Israeli soldiers until our prisoners are freed. By keeping our people in Israeli jails, Israel will lose more soldiers.”

SPECIAL PROPHECY UPDATE NUMBER 233B

July 27, 2005

10 Jihad Kings among the Kings of Revelation 19:19!

Part 1 – The 10 Jihad Toes of Daniel 2

At the battle of Armageddon most of the kings of the earth will come to join the antichrist in a final attempt to eradicate the nation of Israel. Among them will be 10 nations representing the 10 Jihad toes of Daniel 2 that drove Israel into the Negev three and one-half years earlier.

Revelation 19:19 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Some three and one-half years before the final battle of Armageddon, which closes the tribulation period, ten kings of nations out of the territory once occupied by the ancient Roman Empire will attack Israel from the north.

Daniel 2:42 – And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The last evil kingdom of antichrist on this earth was to initially be comprised of 10 nations with 10 kings led by the man of sin himself. It was to arise out of the ashes of the old Roman Empire. I have always believed it would rise out of the southern half of the Empire and be made up of 10 Arab nations.

best cialis levitra viagra which

I believe the elements for its formation are in place today, and I suspect that the most likely Arab nations of which it will be comprised are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Some of these nations are strong like iron, and some are as soft and pliable as clay.

I do not question that in the final battle of Armageddon the descendants of Ham, Shem, and Japheth will be combatants against the nation of Israel. But I have always contended, along with the Bible expositors of the 18th and 19th centuries, that the antichrist’s initial attack would be led by Arab descendants of Abraham. They are the mingled seed of his oldest son Ishmael with the seed of the six sons he sired by Keturah, as well as some of the other offspring of his own father Terah. The empire of the antichrist will be an Islamic empire that eventually takes into it other old world nations. And, in the final great battle of Armageddon, all those nations that made up the world as it was known in A.D. 95 will come against Israel, such that Japheth, Ham, and Shem’s descendants will also be involved.

Daniel 2:41-43 – And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The 10 toes will consist primarily of Terah’s descendants. Abraham came out of Terah. Out of Abraham came the leaders of the three great monotheistic faiths associated with Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. And they have always been in conflict.

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended.

2004 asia book guest propecia

“They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them. Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah. It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created.

The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more than have the Jews.

Daniel 2:43 – And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever

and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from whence he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

All of the evil that came out of the Babylonian, Medo- Persian, Macedonian, and Roman Empires will be laid waste by his Second Advent.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

The Scriptures which follow describe the coming of the great Stone, the great Rock, coming with his kingdom.

Revelation 19:11-18 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Revelation 19:19,20 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 16:15,16 – Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Jude 23 – And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Revelation 3:2-4 – Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. [3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 19:7-9 – Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Damascus hosts Arab ‘Boycott of Israel’ conference

Michael Freund, THE JERUSALEM POST

April 25, 2007

Representatives of 14 Arab states convened in Damascus this week for a four-day gathering aimed at strengthening the economic and trade boycott of Israel.

The event, which began on Monday, is being held under the auspices of the Arab League and brings together regional liaison officers from participating Arab countries. It marks the fourth time the boycott officers have met in the past 18 months.

Ostensible US allies such as Iraq and Saudi Arabia are among the countries taking part.

This is likely to evoke irritation in Washington, as US officials have been pressing Baghdad and Riyadh to end their enforcement of the embargo, which bars trade with Israel or dealing in Israeli-made goods.

As The Jerusalem Post revealed last week, the Saudis continue to implement the boycott of Israel in violation of a pledge made to the Bush Administration in November 2005.

On the basis of that pledge, Washington agreed to the desert kingdom’s request to accede to the World Trade Organization.

According to reports in the Syrian press, the participants at this week’s conference are planning to add an undisclosed number of foreign firms to the blacklist they maintain of companies that do business with Israel.

Presiding over the meeting is Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Muhammad Soboh, who praised Syria in his opening remarks for playing host to the boycott office.

Although the Arab League has its headquarters in Cairo, the organization’s Office for the Boycott of Israel has been based in the Syrian capital since its establishment in 1951.

Various speakers at the conference underlined the importance of the embargo on Israel as a means of pressuring the Jewish state to make diplomatic concessions.

“The Arab boycott of Israel will remain an influential tool and strong backer of the Palestinian people until the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and the restoration of all the occupied Arab territories,” Muhammad al-Ajami, director of the Syrian Office for the Boycott of Israel, told the official Syrian news agency SANA.

Other participants in this week’s parley include Syria, Sudan, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Libya, Lebanon, Qatar, the Palestinian Authority, Tunisia and Yemen.

Egypt and Jordan, both of which have signed peace treaties with Israel, are not participating in the meeting.

Every parameter seems to be headed toward a single conclusion – War is inevitable between Israel and her Islamic cousins. It was destined to be a final war between the two races that came out of Abraham’s two sons – Ishmael, his firstborn born after the flesh, and Isaac, his second son, born after the Spirit.

The “mocking” of Genesis 21:9 is said to be “persecution” in Galatians 4:29, and indicated as still occurring by the words, “even as it is now.”

Genesis 21:8-10 – And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. [9] And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. [10] Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Galatians 4:28-30 – Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. [29] But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. [30] Nevertheless what saith the scripture

? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.

The first article from Haaretz covers the inevitable confrontation from a military perspective. The second article crosses over many obvious premises to one on the opposite end of the inevitable spectrum, namely, the existence of a perpetual irritant – eternal support of a Palestinian welfare state. Palestine, under the governments of Arab conquerors was a barren waste, economically filled with a poor, hungry population ruled by a rich despotic few, with rare exception. The land flourishes when the Jews possess it, and dries up when the Arabs govern it. There must inevitably be a war because ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’ must clash one day, particularly when the countries around them are of the same race and, by comparison, are ‘haves.’ Even though many of the Arab states are ruled by tyrants, (who would love to get all the Palestinian refugees back into Israel out of their countries), their refugee occupants are, by and large, better off economically than the Palestinians governed by the Palestinian Authority in Israel.

The West has supplied the PA with a huge regular inflow of welfare currency to pay their governmental employees and provide the essential elements of social daily life. This has been going on since the PA came into existence, increasing in magnitude with each passing year. When Hamas became the ruling faction in the PA, most of the West cut out the huge welfare flow of cash. If it is reinstated, with the Hamas controll

ing distribution of it, this will be one of the greatest mistakes the West has made.

Please realize that the second article is written from an anti-American perspective that blames everything on us and Israel.

ANALYSIS: Military confrontation with Hamas in Gaza is inevitable

April 25, 2007

Haaratz

By Amos Harel and Avi Issacharoff

From Israel’s perspective, the timing of Hamas’ attack on southern Israel on Monday was problematic. With the government and army virtually paralyzed by fear of the upcoming publication of the Winograd Committee’s report, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert cannot easily order a harsh reprisal in Gaza.

And this time, good intelligence and the army’s preparedness foiled what was apparently another kidnapping attempt, which ostensibly enables Olmert to make do with a limited response.

Yet the premier must ask himself whether this would not be a mistake. Just as Hamas did in its kidnapping of Gilad Shalit last June, the organization, or parts of it, is signaling that all its promises of a cease-fire are nonbinding. Since Hamas agreed to the cease-fire in Gaza, more than 200 Qassam rockets have been fired at Israel from Gaza and some 50 bombs have been planted along the border fence. Hamas’ military wing was involved in many of these attacks.

On the tactical level, the lessons of Shalit’s kidnapping were learned: For instance, the army is now allowed to penetrate a few hundred meters into Gaza in order to thwart kidnappings.

Yet it must be remembered that last July’s kidnapping of two soldiers along the northern border by Hezbollah was preceded by many attempted kidnappings that Israel successfully foiled; it was Israel’s muted response to these attempts that convinced Hezbollah

that it would only pay a minimal price for a successful abduction.

Unlike its response to previous thwarted kidnappings, the army refrained from celebrating on Monday.

This was partly due to the two successful abductions that occurred last year, but also to awareness that a major escalation in Gaza is likely relatively soon.

Olmert will remain unenthusiastic about a large-scale operation in Gaza even after the Winograd report is published. But for years, Israel’s response to Palestinian attacks has been based on one thing only: the attacks’ results. A successful kidnapping, or a Qassam rocket that causes multiple deaths, will hasten the decision to act.

Olmert is well acquainted with the situation assessment of GOC Southern Command Yoav Galant: that a military confrontation with Hamas is inevitable. The organization’s ideology, its ongoing attacks and its military buildup in Gaza all lead to this conclusion. And from Israel’s perspective, Galant believes, the sooner the better, before Hamas’ military might grows any further.

Meanwhile, the army is preparing, and on a scale that some liken to the preparations preceding the first Lebanon War in 1982. In Israel, such preparations tend to be self-fulfilling prophecies.

Hamas’ claim of responsibility for Monday’s rocket and mortar fire was unusual. Since November, it has refrained from such announcements. This time, Hamas was apparently motivated by a desire to regain its fighting image in the eyes of the Palestinian public. Its statement even exaggerated the number of rockets and missiles fired. The attack was apparently timed for Independence Day to maximize its effect.

Palestinian security officials on Monday claimed that Hamas deliberately aimed at open areas, in order to prevent a massive Israeli response, but fired enough rockets to create the impression that it is once again leading the fight and to divert attention from the failures of the new Palestinian unity government.

This government has not managed to end the bloody gang wars in Gaza, nor has it ended the Hamas-Fatah rivalry: Both sides are busily arming and recruiting in preparation for renewed infighting. It seems the only thing that can save the Gazans from civil war is a large-scale Israeli military operation.

THE BOMB IS TICKING AWAY IN PALESTINE

http://archive.gulfnews.com/indepth/hamasin power/Financial_Aid

05/10/2006 09:47 PM | By Duraid Al Baik, Foreign Editor

Today may be May 10, 2006, for those who follow the Gregorian calendar, but it is March 71 for the 160,000 employees in the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) who have yet to receive their March salaries! The US is punishing the Palestinians who have no option but to continue to work and suffer under strange American standards.

blinklist com levitrai

There is no sign that the long month of March will come to an end for the Palestinian employees. Nor when it finally does is there any indication of how long April will turn out to be. We will have to wait and watch the dramatic changes in calendar dates being enforced by the US.

add comment effects levitra side

And speaking about dates, some pessimistic Palestinians believe the US might also choose to set a zero date for eliminating the existence of Palestine as a nation on this earth.

The American administration is not too happy with the outcome of democracy in Palestine and they may choose to express their irritation in a manner that suits them.

Anything is possible in this unipolar world after the US decided to stop aid to Palestine in the aftermath of Hamas assuming power a decision that been abided by EU countries and the rest

how do antibiotics affect birth control pills

of the world including the 21 member countries of the Arab League.

However, this is not the first time the US has demonstrated its unlimited power in manipulating the fate of the Palestinians. For those who remember, the US failed to enforce the 2005 date set for establishing an independent Palestinian state as promised by President George W. Bush following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

Disappointing

For many Palestinians and freedom lovers around the world, the ability and the willingness of Washington to fulfil its promises have failed to materialise.

The problem of the 160,000 government employees in Palestine, who constitute more than 20 per cent of the total work force, is not just a simple delay of their salaries.

This they can deal with through their credit cards, a bank overdraft facility, or for the less privileged perhaps the use of post-dated cheques to their neighbourhood groceries. The issue of salary delay affects the economy which depends to a great extent on money circulation for its growth.

The Palestinian economy is passing through difficult times and things could get worse because none of the various sectors can function properly if government employees are not paid. Even fruit and vegetable vendors in Gaza who used to roam the streets selling

map 2 of reverse search

their produce are now sitting idle waiting for the US to allow donors to transfer the salaries of employees to the banks.

The little hope that rose during Mahmoud Abbas’s visit to France has faded away after the parties involved realised that Jacques Chirac’s proposal to pay the PNA employees through the presidential institution instead of paying them directly through a government led by Hamas is not workable, and is illegal according to the Palestinian Constitution.

The current financial embargo imposed by the US against the Palestinians and enforced by the rest of the world suggests that the American administration is either waiting for the employees to revolt against Hamas and wreck a democratically elected government or for Hamas to recognise Israel while the latter can continue to kill Palestinians wherever and whenever it wants.

However, the US administration should know that none of the above options will work with Hamas and the Palestinian people, and the deadlock it has created in the region should be resolved quickly lest it explodes out of control. The current situation in Palestine is a recipe for disaster that will break out as soon as the people realise there will be no end to March.
