There was never a Snowball’s Chance in Hell for True Middle East Peace!

I have always liked King Abdullah and his Father before him. My respect for both of them is genuine.

They both wanted real peace in the Middle East and worked very hard to obtain it, but true peace in the Middle East before the Second Advent is prophetically impossible, that is, if one believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

The Muslims believe the Koran is the inspired Word of Allah and, according to all its prophecies, true peace cannot come to the Middle East until the Muslim Messiah comes to being it. So, whether you are Christian or Muslim, it is prophesied true peace will not come to the Middle East by any form of peace agreement between the descendants of Japheth, Shem, and Ham. There will be a brief period of false peace – take your pick – by force, negotiations, hudna (truce), or a combination of all three, but it cannot be a true peace, nor can it last very long – LIKE IT OR NOT, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, A FINAL WAR MUST COME, AND ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS ARE CURRENTLY IN THE POT!

In the article from the Jerusalem Post, King Abdullah, Jordan’s ruler, bemoans that the last chance for Middle East peace is slipping away, but according to both the Muslim Koran and the Christian Bible, there was never a possibility of it until after the final great war, which both books prophesied must happen.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II said in remarks broadcast Friday that prospects for Mideast peace are dwindling, and that a current window could represent a “last opportunity.”

“We find ourselves at this very important crossroads … that I do feel really is the last opportunity for peace for all of us,” Abdullah told Israel’s Channel 2, in an excerpt from an interview to be broadcast in full on Saturday.

In order to understand why the only type of peace that can occur in Israel must be both false and temporary, one must comprehend the religious promises made to the Islamic martyr in the Koran.

The Koran is not a lengthy book. It can be read by the average reader in about 18 hours. It is unquestioningly accepted by Muslims to be the infallible word of Allah, as revealed to Mohammed by the Angel Gabriel, some 1400 years ago. Muslims believe it is a transcript of a tablet that is preserved in heaven. It is divided into numerous short sections.

In the section titled “The Night Journey,” it teaches that Israel has already been scourged twice by the Babylonians and Romans, and that if they again transgress against Allah, they will once again be scourged

by a third army, supposedly Islamic.

This would be the Jihad (Holy War) sought by Iraq and Iran, and all the Islamic terrorist groups.

Under “The Chambers,” in the Koran, true believers are identified as those who are willing to fight for the cause of Allah. It is written as follows: “The true believers are those who have faith in Allah and His Apostle and never doubt; and who fight for His cause with their wealth and persons. Such are those whose faith is true.” In the Koran, under “Ornaments of Gold,” this is the promise to the faithful and all martyrs of the Islamic faith: “But you, My servants, who have believed in my revelations, and surrendered yourselves, shall on that day have nothing to fear, or to regret. Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, in all delight. You shall be served with golden dishes and gold cups. Abiding there forever, you shall find all that your souls desire and all that your eyes rejoice in.”

The members of the terrorist groups believe this promise of Allah in the Koran, and are more than willing to die in the fight for Allah’s cause. This is the basic belief of most Muslims, so the terrorist groups are not having a problem in getting numerous volunteers to die for Allah in suicide bombings. In fact, there is a backlog waiting to die in Allah’s cause, and many grow weary in waiting their turn to secure the eternal blessings of Allah. It does not matter what you believe about these promises, it only matters what they believe!

an be satisfied by their homeland leaders, is to be assured that by holding off their activities for a brief period of time, a Jihad can successfully be launched against peaceful Israel by a surprise attack. Those dying in this Great Jihad, as the martyrs of Allah, would be ushered eternally into the presence of Allah. The key to peace in Israel rests with the terrorist groups. When they can be assured the end result of their ceasing their activities will be the killing of millions of Jews, and a retaking of their land, they will stop their attacks, and await the promised Jihad. So WATCH the terrorist groups.

When they finally cease their activities, false peace will come for a brief period, and will be ended with the sudden launching of a Jihad from Syria.

We closed Prophecy Update Number 46 after having exposited on Daniel 11:40 to 42. We left the antichrist in verse 42 poised to head southwest from Beersheba to gain control of the Suez Canal, and eventually west to conquer all of Egypt. He has already driven southward through Israel to take the land from Dan to Beersheba in verses 40 and 41, which is what was identified as Israel in the Old Testament. By the beginning of verse 42 he has driven one-third of the surviving Israelis into the Negev south of Beersheba, where they will remain contained for more than three years.

Daniel 11:41,42 + Zechariah 13:8 + Revelation 12:6 – [41] He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. [42] He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. [8] And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. [6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

This Jihad (Holy War) attack by Islamic nations against Israel is the third in a series of attacks described in the Koran of Islam. In Arabic, the name Koran means “The Recital.” Allah speaks in the first person plural, which often changes to the first person singular or the third person singular in the course of the same sentence.

QUOTE FROM THE KORAN, THE NIGHT JOURNEY 17:4-8

The Night Journey 17:4 – In the Scriptures We solemnly declared to the Israelites: ‘Twice you shall commit evil in the land. You shall become great transgressors.’

“Scriptures” refer to those found in the Old Testament of our present day Bible.

Mohammed claims that Allah is the God of all men, including Israel, and that he gave them what we call the Old Testament. Mohammed calls the Jews “the people of The Book.”

Also please bear in mind that Mohammed was born about AD 570, almost 500 years after John finished Revelation, the last book of the New Testament.

“Twice” refers to the sins of Israel in the Old Testament that led God to cause them to be led into captivity on two occasions. The first being the 70 year captivity into which the Babylonians carried them in about 587 BC.

Jeremiah 25:8-11 – Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, [9] Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the Lord, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. [10] Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. [11] And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

The second occasion was the carrying away by Romans which began in AD 70 by Titus, and was completed by Hadrian some 65 years later.

This led to the worldwide dispersal of the Jews.

Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Please remember that both these attacks had already occurred BEFORE Mohammed wrote the Koran. But since he is claiming that his God Allah wrote “The Scriptures” we call “The Bible,” he is interpreting our Bible to say that Allah and Islam warned the Israelites in advance of

the two attacks before they occurred.

The Night Journey 17:5 – And when the prophecy of your first transgression came to be fulfilled, we sent against you a formidable army which ravaged your land and carried out the punishment with which you had been threatened.

This was, of course, the Babylonian invasion and the 70 years of captivity.

The Night Journey 17:6 – Then we granted you victory over them and multiplied your riches and descendants, so that once again you became a numerous people. We (Allah and Islam) said: ‘If you do good, it shall be to your own advantage; but if you do evil, you shall sin against your own souls.’

Mohammed here claims that Allah gave them victory by causing the conquest of the Babylonians by the Medes and the Persians, and then raising up Cyrus, King of Persia, to allow them to return to their homeland.

The Night Journey 17:7 – And when the prophecy of your second transgression came to be finished, We (Allah and Islam) sent another army to afflict you and to enter the Temple as the former entered it before, utterly destroying all that they laid their hands on.

Mohammed here claims that because they did not heed Allah’s second warning, he sent the Roman army against them, and they, like the Babylonians had destroyed the Temple of Solomon in about 587 BC, destroyed the Temple of Herod in AD 70.

Mohammed then makes the prediction of a final punishment if they trespass against Allah for a third time. This attack will result in their being scourged and cast into Hell, the prison house for all unbelievers. I believe Mohammed extracted this prophecy from both the Old and New Testaments, and guesstimate it will occur before the year 2012.

The Night Journey 18:8 – We (Allah and Islam) said: ‘Allah may yet be merciful to you. If you again transgress, you shall again be scourged.

We have made Hell a prison-house for unbelievers.’

I suspect that Mohammed took the writings of the “prophets of Israel” that were “spoken in old time” of the final attack against Israel, and them predicted it as being a prophecy from Allah.

Ezekiel 38:14-17 – Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? [15] And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: [16] And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. [17] Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets

of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

I guesstimate this attack to occur before 2012 and, indeed, it will be a scourging by the armies of Islam as they sweep south from Dan to Beersheva, and Israel will be exiled in the Negev Wilderness for some three and one-half years.

a Conflict prior to 2008 is Possible!

I agree with the Israeli defense assessment of no war with Syria this year. I do not believe it will occur until after 2007.

However, it does seem likely the festering sore known as the Gaza Strip is likely to erupt like a blister before the year is out.

The Hamas is anxious to invoke a third intifada that can be used to produce a long-term hudna (truce) in Israel, which would allow them time to strengthen their military ability to wage a full fledged Jihad against Israel when they break it.

IDF 2007 assessment: War in Gaza, not Syria

Israeli defense officials agree that Syria, with the backing of Iran, is apparently preparing for war with the Jewish state, but do not believe that conflict will erupt this year.

That according to a security assessment for the year 2007 prepared by the IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the Mossad for the government.

The Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, however, is a different story.

The terrorist arms build-up in Gaza, coupled with ongoing attacks from the area that are certain to one day result in a mass-casualty incident is a recipe for war.

Gaza-based terrorists are firing rockets into southern Israel on almost a daily basis.

Many have come dangerously close to hitting strategic facilities in the coastal city of Ashkelon that if struck, could result in the deaths of hundreds or thousands of Israelis.

If that happens, and it almost has on several occassions, Israel would feel compelled to enter Gaza in force.

When the Israelis get there, they will find a Hamas-led force armed with advanced weapons thanks to months of successful smuggling via the Egyptian Sinai and employing Hizb’allah tactics put to good use against the IDF last summer.

That spells a prolonged and deadly fight against the “Palestinians” that is likely to end with an enormous increase in international pressure for Israel to make concessions in order to calm the situation.

The Iranian military is watching every move made by American troops stationed in the Persian Gulf region.

“We are fully monitoring the route taken by the American” warships in the Gulf, “and because American warships are heavy, they have no maneuverability and are easily sunk,” said the navy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Admiral Sejjad Kouchaki. He added, “Our submarines can easily get near the enemy. Even our enemies know full well that one of our submarines passed under one of their [vessels] without their noticing.

We came close to their anchored vessels, and we even filmed their anchor chain.

We followed them through a periscope at a depth of 1 kilometer without their noticing.”

The head of the Iranian army’s joint staff, Abdolrahim Mousavi, said, “Regarding what Admiral Kouchaki said… the same goes for unmanned planes.

The same unmanned plane that flew over the warships in the Persian Gulf, taking pictures of them all, can do other things if equipped with a warhead.”

A Jan. 22 editorial in the Iranian daily Kayhan noted: “The American soldiers to the east and west of the Iranian” border ” are in range of our fire.

The description rendered in the January 22 editorial in the Iranian daily Kayhan, sounds a lot like the “scorching hell” predicted for the Antichrist and his Islamic hoards at Armageddon, as stated by Malachi, Zechariah,

Saying PA “MUST” is NOT saying Hamas “WILL!”

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has been playing the role of Peter Cottontail, hopping down the European Union bunny trail, crying out “Don’t throw the PA in the Briar Patch” – start sending us welfare money again, without Hamas officially meeting the three demands of the Quartet’s Peace Plan requirements. The only problem with meeting his request is that most of the money would go into the pockets of the majority PA party Hamas, and would be used to kill non-believers.

Although Abbas is better than Arafat, he does possess the same problem Arafat faced, and he does have one of his characteristics – He cannot control the other terrorist groups, and he does speak out of both sides of his mouth. There are many things in the Middle East situation that can have several different outcomes, and to say that one or the other is an absolutely certainty would be foolish. But there is one thing I say with absolutely certainty – It is absolutely impossibly to have anything other than a false peace between Israel and the PA, and any such peace will be followed by a great war in the Middle East.

The following Scriptures have always been God’s advice to his children, but if there ever was a time when we should heed them, it is NOW, as we see the day approaching.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF.

Hebrews 10:21-25 – And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Abbas: PA must recognize Israel and forswear violence

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the EU agreed Friday that the incoming Palestinian national unity government MUST recognize Israel’s right to exist and forswear violence.

At a press conference with EU foreign affairs chief Javier Solana, Abbas sought to reassure international donors by saying, “We remain committed to the two-state solution, the recognition of Israel, renouncing violence and terror” and to adhere to existing agreements between Israel and the Palestinians.

Abbas was in Brussels after meeting earlier in the day with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin. He was seeking support for a resumption of direct international aid to the Palestinian government that was halted last summer after Hamas, which seeks Israel’ s de

struction, won parliamentary elections.

Merkel, whose country now holds the rotating EU presidency, said in Berlin that the power-sharing deal between Abbas’ Fatah faction and the militantly Islamic Hamas was positive because it stopped recent fighting between the two that cost some 130 lives.

“It is good that the bloodletting, especially in Gaza, has been stopped but there is a difficult stretch in front of us,” Merkel said after meeting with Abbas.

In Brussels, Abbas said that “the most important thing is to give Palestinians and Israelis new hope …that peace and stability is possible.”

In a nod to key demands of the so-called Quartet of Middle East mediators, the US, the UN, Russia and the European Union, he agreed that the incoming unity government must recognize Israel’s right to exist, renounce violence and accept past peace deals.

However, a Fatah-Hamas agreement negotiated in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, says the new government must “respect” previous accords and makes no reference to recognizing Israel or renouncing violence.

Solana told reporters the EU continued to insist on the Quartet demands and was awaiting the formation of a national unity government before taking any decision on resuming direct aid.

Syria and Hizbullah getting ready for War with Israel after 2007

There seems to be an effort, by Israeli Cabinet Ministers, to play down the degree of Hizbullah’s power recovery following last year’s conflict, whenever IDF officials give an assessment of a full recovery. The two articles which follow, one from the Jerusalem Post, and the other from Arutz Sheva, also discuss reports differing between different agencies.

The Annual Israel Security Assessment, due to be released Sunday, is expected to predict that a war in 2007 is unlikely, but will indicate that Syria and Hizbullah are getting ready for war with Israel after 2007.

At some point in time between 2008 and 2012, after American troops have left Iraq, my guesstimate is that Iran, Syria, and Hizbullah will believe they have attained sufficient military power to defeat Israel, and will launch an attack against her from the north, supported logistically by seven other Arab nations.

Defense officials: War in 2007 unlikely

Defense and security officials were expected to present to the government on Sunday the annual security assessment, according to which a war in 2007 is unlikely.

Despite the general estimate that chances for actual hostilities are slim, the Shin Bet does not anticipate diplomatic progress, and does expect a cessation to the current internecine violence in the Palestinian Authority.

The expected security briefing follows a week of contradictions in the reports of defense and security officials. On Monday, Brig.-Gen. Yossi Baidatz, head of Military Intelligence’s Research Division, told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Hizbullah has ‘returned to its pre-war capabilities and has even become stronger.’

‘Hizbullah is building up more firepower than it had before the war,’ Baidatz said. ‘Some of this ordnance has arrived, and some is still en route from Syria.’

Baidatz was asked more than once by committee members if he meant that Hizbullah now had more firepower than before the war, and he responded in the affirmative until Defense Minister Amir Peretz interrupted.

Hizbullah has not increased its strength but merely its potential,’ said Peretz.

Baidatz then retracted his previous statement and told MKs that he agreed with Peretz.

Meanwhile, Baidatz told committee members that Syria was preparing its military for a confrontation with Israel.

The Lebanese army has made a deal with Hizbullah terrorist guerillas, dividing up patrols in southern Lebanon, according to an officer of the United Nations Interim Forces (UNIFIL).

Hajj Ali, a Hizbullah terrorist leader who lives in the village of Bint Jbil near the Israeli border, declared, “There will be another war in the summer.

It is the beginning of the end for Israel; we are preparing.”

“Hizbullah still dominates the south, its security men policing the Shi’ite villages and its fighters patrolling the border,” the Guardian reported.

Shi’ite Muslims, aligned with Hizbullah, have re-armed, said the newspaper, which questioned the effectiveness of UNIFIL.

Compounding the international force’s problems in carrying out its mission of keeping Hizbullah out of the area is a growing suspicion among local residents. Analysts have noted that most of southern Lebanon is obligated to Hizbullah, which has provided residents with social and economic support.

UNIFIL soldiers “are not our guests any more,” said Hajj Ali of Bint Jbil, where Hizbullah scored a devastating blow on IDF troops in the village last summer by using advanced anti-tank missiles that Israeli intelligence did not know were in their possession.

“UNIFIL has not lifted a hand against Israel but only intervenes to protect the Israelis, why are they on our land and why have they brought so many tanks?” said a villager in Maroun al-Ras, another town close to the border and site of major clashes with the IDF last summer.

Southern Lebanon residents also have complained that Israel conducts surveillance flights over the area to monitor terrorist activity. UNIFIL has refused to carry out a U.N. Security Council ceasefire resolution clause that it disarm Hizbullah, and Israel has said the flights are meant to fill the vacuum.
