When we began issuing Prophecy Updates on our Web Site in 2000, I had taught since 1967 that a false peace had to come to Israel before the attack of Zechariah 13:8 to 14:2 and Daniel 11:41,42, which would be followed by a period of three and one-half years with Israel in the Negev Wilderness.

High Court approves Sector of West Bank Security Fence

The High Court of Justice rejected the petition of Palestinian villagers on Thursday and approved the construction of a sector of the security fence around the settlements of Emanuel, Ma’ aleh Shomron and Karnei Shomron.

The length of the fence in the area is to be six kilometers, and will built on over 100 acres of private Palestinian land that has been expropriated for the project.

According the court ruling, the decision took into consideration the effect the fence would have on the Palestinians residents.

Former Supreme Court president Aharon Barak wrote that the Jewish neighborhoods were “a target for serious terror attacks in recent years,” adding that on numerous occasions residents of Emanuel had been forced to endure shooting attacks against busses which had claimed the lives of 19 people and wounded dozens.

While undecided about whether the planned route was a measured deterrent, the court was not convinced that there was an alternative route that would fulfill all the security requirements.

The ruling stated that the Palestinians could appeal to the High Court in the event that the agreements regarding Palestinians’ movement in the area and, specifically, their access to agricultural lands were not fulfilled.

Paul, as a Hebrew of the Hebrews, was so concerned about the salvation of his own people that at one point he wished himself to be accursed from Christ if that would set them free from their unbelief.

There is no question that he recognized the Jews as being in unbelief before God as a nation.

Romans 11:32 – For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

So it is easy to understand that the “they” of Paul’s day in the following verses refers primarily to the Jews as a nation in unbelief, while the “ye” (plural) refers to those made up of the “brethren” in the local church at Thessalonica.

Of course, I freely acknowledge that the “they” of verse 3 could legitimately be applied to all the children of darkness today, but I believe Paul’s main reference is to the unbelief he struggled against throughout his ministry, the unbelief of the Jews.

I always believe what the Scripture says is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. However, many times when I am sure I am interpreting it correctly, I still have difficulty in understanding HOW it will be fulfilled by God. I am certain that Israel will reach a point in time when it will “say,” that is, “they” will actually believe, that they truly have “peace and safety.” But one thing that has perplexed me for years is HOW God will bring such a situation to exist. I knew he would, but had no idea HOW he would do it. Why was I so baffled as to HOW he would do it? Simply this – For some 2000 years the Jews, as a nation, have never known “peace and safety” collectively on a worldwide basis. And collectively, as a nation in their homeland, they have never had anything except the opposite of “peace and safety” for some 54 years.

The most important aspect of verse 3 is that by saying they do, it actually means they truly think they have “peace and safety.” For 54 years every Israeli Prime Minister has repeatedly stated during all of his or her administration, “ISRAEL MUST HAVE A PEACE WITH SECURITY.” But it has never happened!

Watching the Seventh Kingdom form over the Last 35 Years!

I retired from the National Security Agency (USAF) in 1971. It’s been an exciting experience to see the Revelation 13 Seventh Kingdom come into place over the last 35 years. The Seventh Kingdom’s 10 horns are the same as the 10 toes in Daniel 2 and the 10 horns in Daniel seven. I had eight of them nailed down at the time of my retirement, namely Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and had eliminated Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. I have since added Turkey and Sudan.

There was never any question in my mind that the 10 horns and 10 toes of Daniel and Revelation would come out of the southern flank of the old Roman Empire, and would be the Seventh Kingdom of Revelation. I faced horrendous opposition on this position up until recently, but the events in the Middle East over the last 35 years have changed the minds of many.

Revelation 13:1 – And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The following quote is taken from my second book, “Tribulation Triad,” which I finished in the late seventies.

For years we have pictured the typical Arab as a scrawny little fellow on a camel in the desert, with a comic grin on his face. This viewpoint is quickly changing. Oil is slowly replacing the dollar in international importance – and soon 10 Arab nations will have gained economic control of the earth’s wealth. We will not try to stop them because of the Soviet Union – and the Soviet Union will not try to stop them because of us and Red China. The world power block will block itself as the 10 Arab nations prosper in their midst.”

The 1978 prophetic interpretation of Revelation 13:1 has, is, and will continue to be fulfilled in the Middle East. Up until the United States stopped helping Saddam Hussein, when his war ended with Iran, we were major suppliers of weapons to Arab nations that have now turned against us. Russia and China are the two major sellers of sophisticated high tech weaponry and high tech technicians to Arab nations that hate us. Europe and North Korea are also major sellers of weapons to Arab nations. In fact, Russia, China, North Korea, Europe, and in a much smaller way, the United States, have all contributed to the growth of the seventh Arab empire of Revelation.

I chose Turkey as one of the 10 toes of Daniel 2 a few years ago, and was quickly reminded that could not happen because the 10 toes were European nations and Turkey was a part of NATO, but I knew when push came to shove that Turkey would follow its Islamic roots to be one of the 10. I chose Iraq as one of the 10 toes 32 years ago. When the United States invaded Iraq I was again quickly told that eliminated Iraq, because the United States was going to establish a democratic government in Iraq, which I knew would only last as long as American troops were there and, after their withdrawal, Iraq would be one of the 10. The Turkish government pulled out of a five-week NATO military exercise in Canada to protest a statement by Prime Minister Stephen Harper last month in which he called the killing of Armenians in World War I a genocide. The move followed Turkey’s recall of its ambassador to Canada. Turkey has also recalled its ambassador to France to protest a bill before Parliament that would make denying the Armenian genocide a crime. Officials at the Turkish Embassy in Canada confirmed that a half-dozen Turkish jet fighters and other aircraft to be used in the NATO exercise had been withdrawn. The operation, to begin next week, will go on with about 40 aircraft and pilots from nine other countries, including the United States, Germany, France and Britain.

10 Jihad Kings among the Kings of Revelation 19:19!

Part 1 – The 10 Jihad Toes of Daniel 2

At the battle of Armageddon most of the kings of the earth will come to join the antichrist in a final attempt to eradicate the nation of Israel. Among them will be 10 nations representing the 10 Jihad toes of Daniel 2 that drove Israel into the Negev three and one-half years earlier.

Revelation 19:19 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Some three and one-half years before the final battle of Armageddon, which closes the tribulation period, ten kings of nations out of the territory once occupied by the ancient Roman Empire will attack Israel from the north.

Daniel 2:42 – And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The last evil kingdom of antichrist on this earth was to initially be comprised of 10 nations with 10 kings led by the man of sin himself. It was to arise out of the ashes of the old Roman Empire. I have always believed it would rise out of the southern half of the Empire and be made up of 10 Arab nations. I believe the elements for its formation are in place today, and I suspect that the most likely Arab nations of which it will be comprised are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Some of these nations are strong like iron, and some are as soft and pliable as clay.

I do not question that in the final battle of Armageddon the descendants of Ham, Shem, and Japheth will be combatants against the nation of Israel. But I have always contended, along with the Bible expositors of the 18th and 19th centuries, that the antichrist’s initial attack would be led by Arab descendants of Abraham.

And, in the final great battle of Armageddon, all those nations that made up the world as it was known in A.D. 95 will come against Israel, such that Japheth, Ham, and Shem’s descendants will also be involved.

Daniel 2:41-43 – And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The 10 toes will consist primarily of Terah’s descendants. Abraham came out of Terah. Out of Abraham came the leaders of the three great monotheistic faiths associated with Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. And they have always been in conflict. (See Archive Update 78 Diagram)

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended. “They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them. Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah. It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created. The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more than have the Jews.

Daniel 2:43 – And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from whence he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Christ, the stone, came from the mountain representing God, without any human instrumentation, but by God’s Spirit forming his body in a virgin’s womb. Christ will return to destroy those morally destroying the earth. All of the evil that came out of the Babylonian, Medo- Persian, Macedonian, and Roman Empires will be laid waste by his Second Advent.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

The Scriptures which follow describe the coming of the great Stone, the great Rock, coming with his kingdom.

Revelation 19:11-18 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Jeremiah 30:7 – Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Jacob, as used here, refers to all the descendants of the man whom God gave the new name of Israel – the people we know today as the nation of Israel. I believe the events, now occurring in the Middle East, are the forerunners of a process whereby more and more pressure will be put on Israel. A peace, which at first will appear to be genuine, will, after a brief period of time, be dramatically broken by a vicious, preplanned blitzkrieg attack from the north, led by Syria and a confederation of Islamic nations. Jeremiah states prophetically: “Alas for that day is great, so that none is like it.” Christ also spoke of it in Matthew 24:21 as he forecast: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This great time of worldwide judgment will be an act of God’s righteous judgment upon sinful mankind. Once before, mankind reached a state of such great ungodliness that God destroyed him. He destroyed mankind by using the earth to flood itself with its own water supply. This act of God upon sinful mankind is recorded in the sixth chapter of Genesis.

Genesis 6:11-13 – The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

God destroyed mankind “with the earth” by use of the water he created upon it and under it. Christ indicates that just before His Second Coming mankind will once again have reached a godless state similar to that attained before the flood. He states this plainly in Luke 17:26 — “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”

God promised mankind he would never again flood the earth, but he made no such promise concerning once again using the earth to destroy mankind “with the earth.” In fact He has very clearly indicated that His next judgment upon sinful mankind will be by fire. In Prophecy Updates 71 and 72, Parts 1 and 2 (See Prophecy Archives at top of page), we exposited fully on the entrance of the antichrist into Israel from the north, his conquest of Israel north of Beersheva, his driving of Israel into the Negev, his by-passing Jordan because of a lack of strategic value, the absolute necessity of his conquest of the Suez Canal, and his preparation to enter Egypt for a strategic base of his future activities during the next three plus years.

The antichrist is to be a tactical military genius. That being the case, he will follow the only logical way to conquer Egypt. Just what is Egypt geographically? It is bordered on the west by Libya,

This will force Egypt to move some of its troops to these areas in a defensive mode, and, as a result, the antichrist will take Cairo in less than a day. His troops will move rapidly west along the northern coastline, south along the eastern coastline, and down the Nile River to the Sudanese border. This will complete his conquest of Egypt. All the rest of it has less than one percent of the population, and is virtual wasteland.

In his initial conquests only 10 Islamic nations will be involved. As you may discover in volumes of previous Prophecy Updates, these 10 have been tentatively identified as being made up of the Palestinians, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Sudan. I am persuaded it will include the 10 already mentioned, plus Egypt, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates. During the three plus years of antichrist’s reign, most of Europe will come under his control or strong influence, and in the final battle of Armageddon, which closes his reign, all the nations of Europe, Africa, Eurasia, Asia, and the Middle East will join him in a final massive attack again Israel in the Negev.

The antichrist’s empire will be an empire that dominates the known world in the days the prophets wrote from Isaiah and Micah in 700 B.C. to John in A.D. 95. They wrote to the people of their day and we are meant to understand it the light of how they perceived it. There is no question that God knew the world as we know it today, but I am convinced He meant for us, in the prophecies relating to the extent of the antichrist’s empire, to interpret it as meaning the world as the prophets knew it.
