A DEAD FAITH IS A NON-ENTITY – FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS A NON-ENTITY – IT DOES NOT EXIST. THERE IS ONLY FAITH THAT LIVES – NO OTHER FAITH EXISTS – A SAVING FAITH WILL PRODUCE WORKS. IT MUST PRODUCE WORKS OR IT DOES NOT EXIST. BUT WORKS CANNOT PRODUCE IT!

Hebrews 11:1-2
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hebrews 11:8-10
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. [9] By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

James 2:18-24
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. I Timothy 2:4
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

There is an instantaneous relief of rest we receive when we finally come to him to save us, and it grows in us after we receive it as we study the word of God if it is genuine.

Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Hebrews 13:5a-6
For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. [6] So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

I Timothy 4:1,2

THEN JESUS BEGINS TO TEACH US THINGS TO GIVE US REST IN UNDERSTANDING OUR ASSIGNMENTS IN THIS PRESENT LIFE BY KNOWING HIS ROLE IN THE PERFORMING OF THEM. PART OF THAT IS TO BE AWARE OF WHAT TO PRAY FOR AND KNOW GOD WILL GIVE IT IN HIS OWN TIME.

Revelation 8:1-5
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour[2]And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. [3] And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. [4] And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. [5] And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Revelation 6:9-12
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Luke 18:1-8

Luke 11:5-13
And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; [6] For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? [7] And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. [8] I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. Galatians 5:17
