Don’t lose your confidence in Jesus by going back under the condemnation from which he eternally delivered your soul the instant you believed in Him!

I Peter 1:23 – Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

John 5:24 – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING life, and shall NOT come into CONDEMNATION; but IS passed  from death unto life.

There are thousands of lost preachers and teachers, who never experienced the new birth, that stand behind pulpits, in classrooms, and on television, teaching a lie to those who clean escaped damnation by grace, for they teach them how to be recaptured by the law.  Those who were saved by grace, to be eternally removed from under the condemnation of God for sin, and eternally passed from death to life, are deceived by false teachers after they are saved, because they are taught they can lose God’s gift of eternal life, if they continue to sin.  The preachers and teachers who deceive them by this false teaching do not have the Spirit.  They float around claiming to have water, but are rain clouds that have no rain, and eternal damnation awaits them because they have never been born again.  They are like wells that have nothing to offer man to quince his thirst for relief, like thunder clouds that do not water the earth to produce crops that satisfy man’s hunger.  They are truly wells without spiritual water, and clouds without the ability to produce spiritual food. The darkness of hell is their first destination and their final abode is the lake for fire.  They do not look like Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, or the Creature from the Black Lagoon.  They appear as Angels of light in business suits and do give the appearance of very Holy men who came down from heaven on a pile of Bibles, quoting Scripture, but completely misinterpreting it.

II Corinthians 11:13-15 – For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

II Peter 2:17,18 – These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. [18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

They speak great words of vanity, telling the hearers they themselves live without sin, and allure the hearers to do the same, assuring them if they really want to live without sin, they can do it.  These false teachers lead the men and women who were clean escaped by grace to go back under the law and attempt to justify themselves by keeping it, only to live the rest of their lives in misery in this error of false teaching.

 II Peter 2:17,18 – These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. [18] For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

The false teachers promise those who clean escaped by grace, that now, as children of God, they can keep the commandments of God without sinning, and give them the assurance they can do it if they try hard enough.  They teach it is possible to find liberty in keeping the law after salvation if they have enough faith to do it. It is interesting that the false teachers themselves were not born of incorruptible seed, and are under the allusion they can completely overcome the sin in their flesh, but they themselves are servants of corruption.  The “clean escaped by grace,” who are taught by these servants of corruption, are brought back under the yoke of the law by these false teachers, being overcome by them, and are the false teacher’s disciples in bondage.

II Peter 2:19,20 – While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Those who “clean escaped” the pollutions of this world, when they were saved eternally by the knowledge of the saving grace in Jesus Christ, have a choice to make – Will I add into the grace that saved me from the lusts of the world, or will I return to a life of giving in to the flesh most of the time?

II Peter 1:2-9 – Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, [3] According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: [4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.   

In the beginning this man was “clean escaped,” saved by the grace of God, but he went back to a lifestyle of following the desires of the flesh, which is like returning to the vomit of the ways of the world, being entangled in it like you were before you were saved, perhaps to an even greater extent than before the day you were saved by grace.  It would have been better for such a man to have died the day after he was saved that to return to the vomit of his old ways.  Why?  He will be chastised in this life for having done so, will live outside the Holy City on the new earth, will receive no reward, but will receive  a rebuke at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

II Peter 2:20-22 – For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. [21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. [22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Revelation 22:11-14 – He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Revelation 21:24 – And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

Galatians 6:7 – Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

FALSE TEACHERS ARE LIKELY TO BE PUT IN THE DEEPEST, HOTTEST PART OF HELL!

Deuteronomy 32:22 – For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

IT WOULD BE FAR BETTER IF A LOST MAN DIED AND WENT TO HELL BEFORE HE WAS GUILTY OF TEACHING ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE GOD’S CHILD TO STUMBLE FROM THE PATH OF GRACE. “OFFEND” IN THE FOLLOWING VERSES, MEANS LITERALLY “TO STUMBLE.” 

Luke 18:17 – Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Luke 17:1,2 – Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! [2] It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should OFFEND one of these little ones.

Matthew 18:6 – But whoso shall OFFEND one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

IT WOULD ALSO BE BETTER FOR A SAVED MAN TO DIE THE SAME DAY HE IS SAVED THAN TO RETURN TO HIS OLD LIFESTYLE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE! – II Peter 2:21 – For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

[19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

[4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; [6]And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: [8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)[9]The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

II Peter 3:1-9 – This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: [2] That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the command-ment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: [3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, [4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. [5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: [6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: [7] But the heavens and the earth, which are NOW, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto FIRE  against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. [8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

Do you assemble with a local church that is still teaching “the faith?”

Jude 1-3 – Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: [2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and LOVE, be multiplied. [3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for THE FAITH which was once delivered unto the saints.

“THE” FAITH is a system a system of doctrine once delivered to local churches, that was the way, the truth, and the life by which God wanted to be worshipped.

John 4:24 – God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth.
