I realize many of these anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons will eventually end up in the hands of Islamic terrorists and used against the Israelis IAF and IDF in the final war of the present Age of the Gentiles, but Israel defense systems are far better at avoiding or destroying them.

The Syrian Antichrist will arise within “Greater Syria” during Obama’s remaining time in Office. The final war in the Middle East will begin shortly after his office is vacant. (Please see Archive Prophecy Updates 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, and 69)

This last war will be a non-nuclear cold war covered by many protective nuke umbrellas, under which a horrific conventional war will be fought in the Middle East.

Don’t be afraid of man’s nuclear bombs. Fear reverently what will be happening by the movement of the tectonic plates under the nuclear umbrellas.

Free Syrian Army (FSA) officers in Turkey say that arms have been reaching the FSA through Turkey over the last few days, including anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles, following a two-month total stoppage of arms supplies to the rebels

Meanwhile, reports from Turkey say that 71 Syrian army officers have defected from the government’s forces in the last 36 hours.

FSA sources said they expected more defections as a result of the change in the international stance on Syria, which agreed to arm the rebels.

THE TREE OF LIFE IS JESUS – THE SOURCE OF ETERNAL SPIRITUAL LIFE TO THOSE WHO PARTAKE OF HIM BY CHOICE.

THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL IS THE CURSED ACTION OF SPIRITUAL SEPARATION FROM GOD BY CHOICE, A TREE OF SPIRITUAL DEATH.

Genesis 2:7-9 – And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [8] And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. [9] And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; THE TREE OF LIFE also in the MIDST of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (THE TREE OF SPIRITUAL DEATH) .

Genesis 2:15-17 – And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. [16] And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of EVERY tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (IT WAS A TREE OF SPIRITUAL DEATH).

Genesis 3:17 – And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: CURSED is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

If Adam or Eve had PHYSICALLY reached out with a physical hand to physically put the fruit of THE TREE OF LIFE, they would have been sealed to live in there newly inherited state forever by the works of their own hands.

Genesis 3:22-24 – And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us (Father, Son, Spirit), to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of THE TREE OF LIFE, and eat, and live for ever: [23] Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. [24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden CHERIBUM, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of THE TREE OF LIFE.

Numbers 17:7,8 – And Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness. [8] And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.

Revelation 2:7 – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of THE TREE OF LIFE, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Hebrews 9:4,5 – Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s ROD THAT BUDDED, and the tables of the covenant; [5] And over it the CHERIBUMS of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

Jesus was, and is, the TREE OF LIFE for all men who will partake of him, who will receive him. He was made a curse for us by hanging on a dead tree growing from a cursed ground, but he brought forth eternal life from it, it budded and he brought life forth from it, his life, and it has, and is, still producing fruit in our lives. The Law was a schoolmaster to teach us we were under the curse of spiritual and physical death because we are sinners spiritually dead toward God.

Galatians 3:24,13,14,26 – Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith[13]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. [26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Christ was crucified on a dead tree grown out of cursed ground, but budded three days and three nights later to become a tree of life to all men who will come to him to receive it. After you come to him you can partake of him, consuming more and more of him, by coming to the place he has positioned himself. Where was the tree of life for Adam and Eve to partake off in the garden?

Genesis 2:9 – And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in THE MIDST of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Where’s the tree of life positioned today on this earth for believers to assemble and partake of Him? In the MIDST of a local church Jesus accepts as his Body.

Report: 73 Syrian officers flee to Turkey

Turkey’s state-run news agency says 73 Syrian military officers – including seven generals and 20 colonels – have crossed the border with their families “seeking refuge” in Turkey.

The Anadolu Agency said Friday that the group totaled 202 people. It said they arrived in the town of Reyhanli and were taken to a Turkish refugee camp that houses military officers who have defected from the Syrian army.

At the same time, the Assad regime got a welcome boost from Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah, who made it clear he will not be deterred by internal Lebanese criticism of his group’s support for Damascus.

Nasrallah, who gave a speech on Friday marking “Lebanese casualty day,” announced the Shiite organization does not intend to abandon its Syrian ally or the Syrian fighting.

“We’ll be were we should be, and will keep shouldering the responsibility until the end,” he committed.

Hezbollah’s involvement in the Syrian crisis, especially in the battles over the border-town of Qusair, caused an uproar in Lebanon and raised concerns that violence may spill across the border.

But Nasrallah insisted: “We’re the last ones to intervene in Syria. There are those who want to see the Syrian regime deposed as if the alternative is a different regime. But the alternative is anarchy.”

Commenting on the possibility that foreign nations will supply the Syrian rebels with arms following reports of chemical weapons use by the regime, Nasrallah declared that “they were armed long ago.”

“Against this international attack, we take part in the existential struggle which wants to see to whole region fall, not only Syria. This is the heretic American-Israeli project,” he accused.

Hezbollah’s leader said his organization’s involvement was completely transparent: “We declared it openly. It’s not as if we sent our men to Syria and said we’re delivering milk and blankets, and it’s not as if we buried our men in Syria and silenced their relatives in Lebanon.”

According to Nasrallah, “The story of a people and a regime is long over. There’s a rift – some of the people support the regime and we’re backing that part, and there’s another part that we’re for with regards to reforms, but we don’t support those who call for the destruction of Syria.”

His speech was broadcast on massive screens in a ceremony in Beirut, and was aired on the Al-Manar TV channel, owned by Hezbollah.

During the ceremony, Nasrallah commended the “Lebanese resistance which acted to defend the holy places.”

“This resistance liberated Lebanon from the occupation,” he said. “Without it, Lebanon’s water would have gone over to the settlements and the original inhabitants wouldn’t be able to use them, just like in the West Bank.

“Without the resistance, our oil our oil reserves would have been transferred to the Tamar deposit, and our government would have had to answer to Israel like in Tyre and Sidon.

“And who was it who drove them out? Who fought and who remained silent? Who fought the occupier and who shook his hand?” Nasrallah said.

Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon aimed to advance the issue in meetings with lawmakers and Jewish leaders on Capitol Hill on Thursday. On Friday, Ya’alon is scheduled to fly to the Pentagon aboard an Osprey.

U.S. officials were loath to link the pending response to Israel’s irregular financing request to Jerusalem’s readiness to resume long-stalled Palestinian peace talks. All underscored Washington’s unconditional commitment to Israel’s security.

Nevertheless, a senior U.S. source noted that the unprecedented uptick in security support from the Obama White House was part of larger confidence-building efforts aimed at “encouraging the Israeli government to take those risky, yet necessary steps toward peace.”

The Palestinian Authority’s Reign of Terror

Until recently, the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank used to arrest Palestinians who criticized its leaders, especially Mahmoud Abbas. But now the Palestinian Authority has resumed using thugs to break the bones of its critics. The thugs are often members of Abbas’s ruling Fatah faction. However,they do not belong to Palestinian Authority security forces or any government-related agency in the West Bank.

This allows the Palestinian Authority to distance itself from the thugs each time they perpetrate a crime. But the thugs, who are referred to by Palestinians as “Shabbiha,” are known to act on instructions from top Palestinian Authority leaders. The last time the Palestinian Authority used its thugs was after a conference last weekend at Bethlehem University. A 34-year-old activist, Nizar Banat, who had asked a provocative question of PA Minister of Economy, Jawad Naji, was intercepted by seven thugs, who dragged him out of his car and beat him severely.

By resorting to this policy of terror and intimidation against its critics and political opponents, the Palestinian Authority leadership in the West Bank is once again showing that it is not much different from other Arab dictatorships. Psalm 24:1 – A Psalm of David. – The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. [7] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [8] Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Zechariah14:9 – And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

The “Lord of Hosts” is Jesus, who is the “King of Glory” in Psalm 24.

Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with THUNDER, and with EARTHQUAKES, and GREAT NOISE, with STORM AND TEMPEST, and THE FLAME OF DEVOURING FIRE.

All of the phenomena capitalized above in Isaiah 29:6 above can be created by movement of the worldwide tectonic plate complex. Over 95 percent of the world’s earthquakes and 90 percent of the world’s volcanic eruptions are produced by the movement 0f the tectonic plates. Thunder and storms are produced in cumulonimbus forming in heated air lifted over volcanic calderas. Storm and tempest is generated by tsunamis along the world’s coastlines created by upward and downward movements along tectonic borders beneath seas and oceans of the world.

Isaiah 9:5,19 – For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; BUT this shall be with BURNING AND FUEL OF FIRE. [19] Through the WRATH of the Lord of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the FUEL OF THE FIRE: no man shall spare his brother.

FUEL – Ma’ ako leth – Something eaten by fire – Wilson’s Old Testament Word Studies and Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance – In the context of Isaiah 9:5,19 the “something” eaten by fire is “flesh” consumed by fire. Wilson’s O.T. Word Studies says the word can be translated as “meat.”

Zechariah 14:12,13 – And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. [13] And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

Atomic War in Israel – Yes or No?

One of the main reasons I wrote three books on prophecy in the late seventies and early eighties was to establish a case advocated by teachers of the pre-World War II era. It was, simply stated, that man would not destroy the earth with his weaponry, but rather that God would destroy the earth by the use of this own power. I am certain that the horrifying changes in the topography of Israel, as well as the terrifying destruction of the antichrist’s forces at Armageddon, are by the awesome power of God, not atomic, chemical, or biological weapons of man. The lifting of the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem, the breaking up of Jerusalem into three sections, the splitting of the Mount of Olives, and the consuming of the flesh, tongues, and eyes of the antichrist’s men are natural phenomena unleashed by God, not by man. All the Scriptures dealing with these phenomena unleashed by God are covered in the Birth Pang Archives.

There are many advocates of a great atomic war in Israel when the antichrist attacks 1260 days before Armageddon, but I do not believe that will be the case.

Isaiah 5:14 – Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Most expositors of today’s popular religious works go to great lengths to work the weaponry of modern technology into the Scriptures. Ezekiel’s wheel within a wheel becomes a flying saucer; John’s scorpions become enemy jet aircraft, and his horses are enemy tanks. But expositors of all ages have vainly attempted to work the weaponry of their age into God’s word, and all have been in error. Please do not misunderstand. I am certainly aware there will be a great Battle of Armageddon, and I realize a large percentage of mankind will be killed by his own weaponry. And also please understand that some passages in the Scriptures may well refer to man’s weaponry of the last days, but I am simply saying it has been greatly overplayed. The vast majority of mankind killed in the world, even during the Battle of Armageddon, will not be by man’s hand, but rather by God unleashing the natural forces of His creation. God will destroy man “with the earth.”

Isaiah 5:14 portrays red hot liquid rock from hell pouring out upon the surface of God’s earth. Hell literally enlarges itself by expanding out onto the surface of the earth as God opens the deep mouths in the crust of it (Shown as dashed lines in Figure 3). Hell will flow upward to the surface of the earth without measure. Today many modernistic theologians believe hell is a mystical, spiritual place somewhere in the mind, a spiritual concept, rather than an actual place of fiery torment. But hell is a real, literal place of fire and liquid hell in the interior of the earth, where the departed souls of all the lost are kept until the Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. And, where these great interior lakes of liquid rock exist, it is dark as pitch and hot as hell. I believe God has confined the souls of the dead, who died in a lost condition, to these underground liquid lakes of hell. I know that God does confine spiritual beings to material places. One such example is found in Revelation 9:14.

Revelation 9:14 – Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Angels are certainly spiritual beings, and the Euphrates River is certainly a literal, physical place. If you want personal proof, then look in a mirror. Inside that literal, physical, material body is confined a spiritual soul that is confined to live there until physical death occurs. Amos identifies the literal hell as a place you reach by digging downward.

Amos 9:2 – Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:

Proverbs portrays hell as existing in the earth beneath our feet.

Proverbs 15:24 – The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Isaiah indicates that hell is located such that it must be moved upward from beneath to meet someone coming down from the earth’s surface.

Isaiah 14:9 – Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

The earth itself is the bottomless pit that enshrouds a literal interior hell of hot, liquid rock. And it is the upward extension of this hell upon the surface of the earth that will destroy most of the antichrist’s army. (See Birth Pang Numbers 8, 15, & 16)

I call your attention to Part A of Figure 24. Please note that God has very conveniently created a major fault line that runs as an offshoot from the Jordan River Valley northwestward toward Haifa. The placement of this offshoot fissure is very interesting in regards to the Battle of Armageddon. The fault line runs directly through, and under, a great valley extending from Wadi el Yabis on the Jordan River to Haifa. This great valley, through which it extends, actually consists of two valleys linked together, the lower valley being known as the Valley of Jezreel. Near the place where these two valleys meet, on the south face of its southern bluff, sets the Tel of Megiddo, Armageddon. The two valleys are often erroneously called the Valley of Armageddon.

It is in this valley where the hottest battle of this Gentile Age will be waged. At the same time that God rips apart the Jordan Valley, to create a raging flood basalt plain in the Jordan Valley from the Gulf of Aqabah northward to the place the Jezreel intersects the Jordan plain, the fissure from that point, which extends northwestward to Haifa, will tear in several places to produce cinder cone eruptions along it. This will not be nearly as bad as what happens to antichrist’s army in the flood basalt zone, but it will kill a large number of his troops.

Malachi 4:1-3 – For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. [2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. [3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
