Even if as we speak American aircraft are preparing to attack the nuclear facilities in Iran, and even if as we speak American Tomahawk missiles are searching for the chemical weapon storage facilities in Syria, the truth should not be concealed: In this war we are (almost) on our own.

America will only go to war for its own interests. In the current atmosphere in the United States, as it is withdrawing from its current wars, Washington will not go to war for Jerusalem. Israeli government officials will say that, allegedly, there is no greater contradiction: The Sunni world is closer to the State of Israel more than ever before these days. The Sunni world is terrified of the Shiite world representing Iran, and like the State of Israel – Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Gulf states (perhaps apart from Qatar) and even Egypt see Iran and its satellites as enemies for all intents and purposes. These countries would gladly join a strike in Iran if it were possible.

But the Americans are not hiding their intentions in regards to Iran and likely in regards to Syria as well. They are still very far from dipping their fingers in the nuclear and chemical mud. President Obama did say publicly, in Israel, and in clear Hebrew, “You are not alone,” but the Americans are looking for every excuse to avoid risking their people’s lives on the road to Tehran.

The Americans are saying to themselves: We survived the Cold War and the Soviet nuclear threat, which has dozens and maybe hundreds of nuclear facilities, and we have nothing to be afraid of when it comes to the Iranian nukes. We got past Stalin, we got past Khrushchev (even with a series missile crisis in Cuba), and we’ll successfully get past Ahmadinejad too.

US constantly trying to clear the table

This is exactly what the Israelis are not thinking. Israel is not as spacious as the US; neither is it a world power unlike any other. Israel can estimate correctly the concern over any nuclear activity, after “foreign sources” have been claiming for years and generations that it has nuclear facilities. Israel also knows how the Iranians can deceive the entire world. Israel did it too and it can teach the Iranians every single trick.

It’s for a reason that the Americans are trying to delay the inevitable by arguing about timetables. On the Iranian issue, the timetable gap is pretty big and crosses every red line proudly drawn at the time by Benjamin Netanyahu in front of the UN General Assembly. On the Syrian issue, the Americans are searching everywhere for excuses not to recognize and admit the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime. The Americans know very well that admitting the use of chemical weapons in Syria means, most likely, war – or at least a long “day of battle” in which Syria will turn over and will never be the same again.

Indeed, America has promised Israel that “all options are on the table,” but it is constantly trying to clear the table. And so the apparent picture, in the days to come and at least in the near future, is that Israel, and the great IDF, are in this front against Iran and Syria almost on their own. The Americans, who understand Israel’s fears, are covering the thorny road to Tehran and Damascus with major purchase deals, which will likely be executed only after the “deluge.”

Just as it was in Jeremiah’s day before God’s punishment of Israel by letting her be carried into Babylonian captivity. So it is today before God punishes both Gentile and Jew in the Tribulation Period before His Second Advent and Millennial Reign on His Earth.

Jeremiah 5:29-31 – Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? [30] A wonderful (astonishing) and horrible thing is committed in the land; [31] The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? (The word “astonishing” is supplied for “wonderful.”)

ISAIAH 11:10 – And in that day there shall be a ROOT of Jesse, which shall STAND for an ENSIGN of the PEOPLE; to IT shall the Gentiles SEEK: and HIS REST shall be glorious. (Root means to “shoot forth from the root”)

ISRAEL 11:12 – And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

The outcasts of Israel term is used in this verse because it represents a northern kingdom made up of the 10 tribes of Israel that were carried into Assyrian Captivity between the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers in what is now northern Iraq. All the descendents of the 12 sons of Jacob will no longer be separated as the Northern Kingdom of Israel will again be united with the Southern Kingdom of Judah, and Christ will reign over then as one Lord over his one nation, one earth, and one universe.

Zechariah 14:9 – And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The Vast Majority Of Nations Celebrated Earth Day On Tuesday

I was working on a NSA computer program to break Chinese & Soviet Union codes in 1970 at the time Earth Day came into existence. On Tuesday the vast majority of nations were celebrating it. I retired from the Washington National Security Agency AWS Unit in 1971.

The 1969 oil spill off the California coastline was the rallying call that led to its formation in 1970. It led to the politically powerful United States Environmental Protection Agency.

The majority of today’s prophecy teachings came out of the Great Wakening Evangelistic Movement Period between 1730 and 1835. US probes ties between Boston Bombing, Chechen group

FBI looking for links between Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s trip to Russia and brothers’ radicalization

Some 24 hours after the capture of the surviving suspect in the Boston bombings, questions are being asked regarding the motives for the heinous attack. Unnamed sources told Fox News network that FBI investigators were checking for possible connection between the Chechen brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and the Caucasus Emirate terror group.

Tamerlan, 26, was killed in a shootout with authorities; while the younger son, Dzhokhar, 19, was injured and taken into custody. Both have left a trail on the internet suggesting they were devout Muslims, proud of their Chechen heritage and supportive of the region’s bid for independence from Moscow.

The group, led by the Chechen warlord Doka Umarov, dubbed “Russia’s Bin Laden,” is affiliated with al-Qaeda .

President Barack Obama’s administration placed Umarov on a terrorist leaders’ list after he took responsibility for the double suicide bombing of the Moscow subway in March 2010 that claimed the lives of 40 people, and the November 2009 attack on a train, killing 26

The investigation was reportedly based on Tsarnaev’s Youtube uploads, and his trip to Russia on 2012, during which he visited Dagestan and Chechnya.

Dzhokhar, 19, is still being treated at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, suffering from serious wounds. It is not clear when he would be charged. He was reported in serious but stable condition and could not face interrogation. Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick said Tsarnaev was most likely “not able to communicate yet.”

The brothers spent their early years in a small community of Chechens in the central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan, a mainly Muslim nation of 5.5 million. The family moved in 2001 to Dagestan, a southern Russian province at the heart of a violent Islamist insurgency and where their parents still reside.

The FBI confirmed Friday that agents had interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev and other family members in 2011 at the request of an unnamed foreign government and “did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign.”

“The Caucasus Emirate group employs explosions, shootings and assassinations to spark a revolution and expel Russian government from the North Caucasus,” US government ruled when labeling Umarov ‘s group a terrorist organization.

A senior US intelligence source said that Russia was “convinced” the Tsarnaevs had a direct relationships with Chechen rebels, predominantly natives of the Dagestan region. Meanwhile, US authorities are looking for links between the older brother’s radicalization and his six-month visit to Russia.

The conflict in Chechnya dates back to 1994 during the war where rebels sought to achieve independence for the region, but soon grew into an all-out Islamist insurgency aimed to establish an Islamic Caucasus.

Russian forces withdrew from Chechnya in 1996 after the First Chechen War, and left behind massive disarray with virtually no one dominant governing force. Three years later, Russian forces entered Chechnya in the wake of the blasts in Moscow and other cities, the responsibility for which was assigned to the Chechen rebels.

With Ramzan Kadyrov, a former rebel whose rule enjoys the support of the Kremlin, stability returned to Chechnya, though Kadyrov was accused of multiple human rights abuses. But the Islamic insurgency has spread to neighboring provinces, with Dagestan – sandwiched between Chechnya and the Caspian Sea – now seeing the worst of the violence. Militants launch daily attacks against police and other authorities.

Fighters from Chechnya and neighboring provinces carried out a series of terrorist attacks in Russia, including the hostage crisis in a Moscow theater in 2002, when 129 people lost their lives, the school hostage crisis in the southern Russian town of Beslan, which claimed 330 lives, and numerous terror attacks in Moscow and other cities.

The US security think tank Stratfor said Friday that if the Tsarnaev brothers had any link to al-Qaeda, or one of its franchise groups, it would “likely be ideological rather than operational, although it is possible that the two have attended some type of basic militant training abroad.”

Stratfor added that the Boston bombings highlighted the fact that “the jihadist threat now predominantly stems from grassroots operatives who live in the West rather than teams of highly trained operatives sent to the United States from overseas, like the team that executed the 9/11 attacks.”

“There will always be plenty of soft targets in a free society, and it is incredibly easy to kill people, even for untrained operatives,” it said.

On his social media web page, Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev joked about the reputation of people from the North Caucausus for conflict with the authorities: “A car goes by with a Chechen, a Dagestani and an Ingush inside. Question: who is driving?”

The answer: the police.

Caucasus rebels on Sunday denied they were involved in the Boston blasts. A Dagestani rebel commander was quoted by AFP as saying “We are not working against the United States, only against Russia.”

Chechnya’s unrest casts long shadows

A massive Russian crackdown on Chechnya’s bid for independence in the 1990s and the installation of loyal leaders there pushed the Caucasus Muslim enclave from the headlines years ago. But resentment has festered and, at times, bled into the global holy war being waged by Islamic militants.

While it is unclear what link, if any, events in Chechnya have to do with the attack on the Boston Marathon, blamed on Chechen emigre brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the unhealed wounds of the Chechen conflict, which raged for five years after an uprising in 1994, serve as a reminder that religious and ethnic tensions can spill across borders.

Chechen fighters travelled to Afghanistan, Pakistan and neighbouring Caucasus regions for military and explosives training, joining their cause to a worldwide jihad. Chechen militants and foreign supporters who trained at al-Qaeda-run camps in Afghanistan were among terrorist suspects swept up after the US invasion and imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay or CIA ”black sites”. Some are thought to be in detention still.

Chechen warlords have been added to the US list of terrorism suspects. In February 2011, Doku Umarov was branded a fugitive enemy after he claimed responsibility for organising suicide bombings on Moscow’s subway in 2010, in which at least 40 people died.

Just a week ago, the US put the republic’s president, Ramzan Kadyrov, a former rebel turned ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the subject of a torture complaint, on a secret list of Russians banned from the US for human rights abuses, people briefed on the list said.

A handful of Chechens were among foreigners fighting US troops around Diyala in Iraq in 2005 and a small number of Chechen fighters has been reported in the lawless tribal belt along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, which has long been a sanctuary for al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

While many Islamic militants target the US because of its military interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Chechen insurgency is more squarely focused on Moscow, often with deadly effect.

Chechen fighters seized hundreds of hostages in southern Russia in June 1995. More than 100 were killed in a botched raid to free them. Seven months later, rebels grabbed hundreds of people from a hospital in Dagestan, drove them to the Chechen border and used them as human shields. Dozens died.
