Galatians 3:26 – For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Revelation 21:23,24 – And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. [24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

THE SAINTS OF THE OLD & NEW TESTAMENTS THAT “KEPT ON COMING” TO THE PROMISES” AFTER SALVATION, WILL LIVE IN THE NEW JERUSALEM.

After a soul has tasted God’s grace in its newborn state it is told in the inspired language to “keep on coming” to the Word of truth as long as it is still alive in sinful flesh.

Op-ed: Netanyahu jeopardizing intimate dialogue with US on issues of great strategic importance

US President Barack Obama told the State of Israel what he really thinks about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – not what he thinks about Israel, the US’ military and diplomatic support of Israel, the “diplomatic process” or Iran. He clearly and simply said what he thinks about the Israeli prime minister and where he is leading the country.

These are harsh, frightening, unprecedented comments that had some connection to the remarks by former Shin Bet director Yuval Diskin. Israel is an
ally. Netanyahu? Probably not.

It does not matter if the president of France, the German chancellor, the prime minister of Britain and the chairman of the Kryptonian Council think the same way. This is the president of the United States. The foolish discussion over the president’s “intent” or the “timing” of the publication of his comments is also irrelevant. This is not about revenge. This is Obama’s opinion of Netanyahu. We should listen to what the president of the United States has to say about the prime minister of an ally, Israel, and fully understand the content and ramifications.

The president, like the incoming secretaries of defense and state, believes Israel is leading itself toward international isolation and a diplomatic disaster. Netanyahu’s response was irritating and sad, because it reflected a lack of understanding of the significance of Obama’s remarks. “Netanyahu will not withdraw to the 1967 borders and will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.” The Netanyahu government will also not allow the Romans to conquer Jerusalem again and will fight the British Mandate and the White Paper.

In the 65 years of its existence, Israel obtained one crucial strategic asset: The relations with the US. This alliance has constituted the pillar of Israel’s deterrent power since the 1970s. As far as the US is concerned, this is not a natural or historic alliance. It developed slowly and gradually, with a lot of irrigating, fertilizing and attention. It is not obvious.

The partnership of values, the identical ideological basis, the shared strategic interests and the cultivation of the security and diplomatic relations are founded on basic trust and credibility. Netanyahu managed, with arrogance and impertinence, to rattle the very foundation of the relations by removing trust and credibility from the equation. Ever since the studious and preachy speech he delivered in front of the White House cameras, Netanyahu has effectively and irresponsibly declared a work dispute with the president of the United States and has not missed any opportunity to uselessly clash with Obama.

This does not mean that Netanyahu is not right about the issues at hand. It means that he is being defiant and is provoking Obama. It means that he is jeopardizing the quality and vitality of the intimate, honest and credible dialogue on issues of great strategic importance – such as Iran, Syria or Pakistan – at a time when American foreign policy is focused on the Far East and the US’ dependence on oil from the Middle Easy is almost non-existent.

Netanyahu is endangering the quality of the alliance with the US by intervening in American politics, and mainly by losing the White House’s trust. Israel, despite what it believes, is not a “strategic asset” of the US, just as it is not a “burden” – as it is often described by its critics. The US-Israel alliance is an asymmetrical one, and it has an element of dependency.

This is why the American president, who was elected by a coalition of voters who have no interest in Israel, feels comfortable expressing his opinion. Therefore, the smaller partner in this alliance should listen rather than criticize.

Op-ed: By picking Hagel, President Obama is telling Israel he will not allow it to launch solo attack on Irantan Haber

You would have to be deaf, a fool and a minor – as it says in the Talmud – not to understand the message relayed this week from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington to the residents of Kaplan 3 Street in Jerusalem: The people in the White House changed the rules of the game and have informed Benjamin Netanyahu of the change.

It would be foolish to think that President Obama picked Chuch Hagel just to taunt Netanyahu and irritate the State of Israel. Of course not. But we should assume that he smiled when he went over the list of candidates for defense secretary and saw Chuck Hagel’s name on it. Hagel’s anti-Israel past was not an obstacle in Obama’s eyes. He may have even told a joke at Netanyahu’s expense to one of his Oval Office aides.

But this story is not funny at all. Hagel will now try to convince everyone that he is not anti-Israel, and a photo of him placing a note in the Western Wall will appear out of nowhere (if he has ever visited Israel). A number of his Jewish friends will say that he kisses a picture of Herzl every morning; that he knows the late Benzion Netanyahu’s thousand-page book by heart and that his son Johnny was named after Yonatan Netanyahu. He’ll do anything to overcome the Senate Committee obstacle on the road to one of the most important appointments in the American administration.

Netanyahu is probably sitting in his office or home and making calls to all the Lauders, Tischs and Rennerts – his Jewish friends from New York who, for some reason, still believe they run the world. Netanyahu is probably explaining to them that the Senate must block the appointment of this hater of Israel. Bibi is doing everything in his power to keep Hagel from hiring a moving company to transfer his furniture from Nebraska to Washington in the coming days. Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, is probably calling the White House constantly and does not understand why the president does not stand at attention when he hears who is on the other end of the line.

America is changing

The Americans don’t like losers, and they have already forgotten about Romney. His books, and those written about him, are being sold for 50 cents in used bookstores. But Obama still remembers Romney and those who supported him during the last election race very well.

Hagel may not be appointed as defense secretary – the claims against him are severe – but Obama is pleased because he has already caused Netanyahu to sweat profusely.

As far as Israel is concerned, the main problem is that Hagel is nominated for one of the most important positions in the US government. The defense secretary is the oxygen tube of the State of Israel’s security. Intelligence, weapons and billions of dollars in aide are transferred to the Jewish state with the defense secretary’s approval. Hagel will not be nominated to receive the Israel Defense Prize anytime soon.

The selection of Hagel also sent a clear message to the Israeli government: The Americans will not allow Israel to launch a go-it-alone attack on Iran’s nuclear installations and get the US involved in a war it does not want. And when the Americans say no – it means no. Will the Americans attack Iran alone? The chances of this happening will be reduced significantly if Hagel is confirmed.

Regardless of whether the Senate approves Hagel’s appointment or not, this affair should make us realize that America is changing right before our eyes and it can no longer be Israel’s insurance policy.

Blabber against Netanyahu will backfire

Op-ed: If Likud gets 40 mandates next week, one of Netanyahu’s first thank you calls should be to President Obama

President Obama should have known better than to intervene in Israeli politics so close to Election Day. It will backfire. Award winning journalist Jeffery Goldberg quoted President Obama as saying “Israel doesn’t know what its best interests are,” while criticizing Netanyahu’s geopolitical policies and speculating that if Israel continues such policies it will find itself internationally isolated. Such patronizing is counter-productive. In fact, Israelis resent external efforts to influence their internal politics and act accordingly.

On the eve of the 1996 elections, a very popular Bill Clinton vigorously campaigned for Shimon Peres against a younger Benjamin Netanyahu. Clinton figured Peres’ “New Middle East” fantasy was feasible and within reach. He made every possible presidential commitment to promote Peres. Netanyahu campaigned for a responsible, steady and secure peace process. Some Israelis respected Clinton’s commitment but most voted for Netanyahu. Political pundits have said that the president’s intervention was one of the factors that put Netanyahu over the hump in the closest election in Israel’s history

President Obama’s criticism of Netanyahu is a little bewildering in light of the fact Obama himself says he is aware of the severe threats posed to Israel by the tyrants and terrorists to its north and south, and the ayatollahs with nuclear aspirations to its east. Obama is also aware of Palestinian Authority President Mahmud Abbas’ weakness as a viable, committed partner.

Obama is not Clinton. He is not as popular in America or in Israel. In fact, Obama is the only president to secure a second term with a smaller percentage of the vote than in his first election. Compared to 2008, Obama’s share of the vote was down in every state except Hawaii and Mississippi. The president got about 7.8 million fewer votes from White Americans, 1.6 million fewer from African-Americans and 10% less from American Jews. From an Israeli perspective, polls suggested about 75% preferred Romney

Therefore, since Obama ostensibly wants to weaken Netanyahu, the statements attributed to the president may be even more counter-productive than those made by Clinton and could help Netanyahu win by a landslide next week.

Ambivalent voters that may have preferred parties to the left or the right of Likud will now have a reason to bolster Netanyahu. Israel unites when faced by external threats and unjust criticism of its leaders. If the Likud gets 40 mandates next week, one of Netanyahu’s first thank you calls should be made to President Obama.

Counting the Number of the Name of the Beast in the Greek Alphabet

What is the name of the antichrist that will total 666?

I believe the Assyrian is the antichrist from Greater Syria (See Prophecy Updates 66 & 67).

The name of Christ abridged is Chi(600) + Bau(6) + Xi(60) which is the emblem of the serpent, the counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, hence 666.

So the sublimated sense of 666 is “the Messiah of Satan,” which indeed he represents.

So Jesus(888), as the Messiah of God, is “more than enough” to defeat the Messiah of Satan.

But bet’s be honest about all this! I am not sure what all this means about the mark of the beast.

So, until I do, I will keep on fumbling around like a baby bear trying to get honey out of a beehive.

The facility may have been booby trapped, the terrorists have been operating in the area for 20 years and there were a large number of local and expatriate hostages.

The decision to use force, taken and implemented so fast, would almost certainly be handled in a very different way by a European power where such situations are thankfully rare. Political priorities militate against an assault – unless all alternative strategies have been exhausted. In contrast, Algeria’s lengthy conflict against extremists has produced a more hard-nosed approach.

Algeria never allows foreign forces to operate within in its borders and their troops and planners face a very demanding mission – there are many hostages both local and expatriate, and the group behind the attack has been operating in the region for 20 years.

The Fertile Crescent is a crescent-shaped region containing the comparatively moist and fertile land of otherwise arid and semi-arid Western Asia, and the Nile Valley and Nile Delta of northeast Africa. The term was first used by University of Chicago archaeologist James Henry Breasted. Having originated in the study of ancient history, the concept soon developed and today retains meanings in international geopolitics and diplomatic relations.

In current usage the Fertile Crescent has a minimum extent and a maximum extent. All definitions include Mesopotamia, the land in and around the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The major nation in this region is Iraq (formerly Mesopotamia), with small portions of Iran near the Persian Gulf, Kuwait to the south and Turkey in the north. More typically the Fertile Crescent includes also the Levantine coast of the Mediterranean Sea, with Syria, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon and the West Bank. Water sources include the Jordan River.

At maximum extent, the Fertile Crescent also may include Egypt and the Nile Valley and Delta within it. The inner boundary is delimited by the dry climate of the Syrian Desert to the south. Around the outer boundary are the arid and semi-arid lands of the Caucasus to the North, the Anatolian highlands to the west, and the Sahara Desert to the west.

The region is often called the cradle of civilization; it saw the development of many of the earliest human civilizations. Some of its technological inventions (but not necessarily first or uniquely) are writing, glass, and the wheel. The earliest known western civilizations manifestly arose and flourished using the water supplies and agricultural resources available in the Fertile Crescent. They were not necessarily the first or the only source of civilization, as Breasted believed. Moreover, plants and animals were not domesticated there but in the surrounding nuclear area, where the original plant species still grow wild.

Commentary

Better late than never is the only way one can describe the New York Times’ decision to run an article about Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s history of anti-Semitic slanders. The problem is that Morsi’s use of a phrase that is commonly employed throughout the Muslim world to describe Jews as well as other comments that are straight out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is so common in Egypt as to make it almost unexceptionable. That is in no small measure the result of Brotherhood propaganda and mainstream Islamist thought in which demonization of Israelis, Jews, and Americans is commonplace.

While some might paint the Brotherhood as a responsible political movement, Jew-hatred is one of its core beliefs. The question is not so much whether Morsi will publicly disavow these slurs but whether the Obama administration will continue to buy into the myth that Morsi is some kind of a moderate whose government deserves to continue to be treated as an ally.

Morsi’s talk about “apes and pigs” is not a side issue to be ignored in the name of stability. It goes straight to the heart of whether Egypt should be treated as a nation ruled by a radical and hostile government that is confident that nothing it does will cause it to lose its American subsidy. The entire issue will probably have lower priority as compared with Obama’s first term. Other, more urgent Mideast crises in Syria, Iran, Egypt and elsewhere, and the president’s own perception of a pressing need for more “nation-building at home,” make Palestinians and Israelis pale by comparison.

A struggle rages for a large swath of the Fertile Crescent, perhaps the most serious challenge to the borders of that slice of the Arab world since the European map makers stood up the states of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon in the aftermath of World War I.

During the Iraq War, the Alawite rulers in Damascus aided and abetted Sunni jihadists keen to do battle against the Americans and their Shiite supporters. With Syria ablaze, those jihadists, who see a chance to throw off the Alawite yoke, now war against Assad.

If the people in the Fertile Crescent had expected help and deliverance from the pre-eminent liberal power in the world, they now know better.

Revelation 13:16,17 – And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

I closed Part 9 by saying I would continue to talk about what causes the mark to be a necessity, which is, of course, great famine across one-fourth of the world. The one-fourth will be the known world that existed at the time John wrote the book of Revelation, and it will be in that area that the mark is accepted by most of the inhabitants.

Revelation 6:8 – And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with THE BEASTS OF THE EARTH.

As I indicated in the exposition of Revelation 6:1-8 in Part 9, the last three riders on the red, black, and pale horses, are identified as the takers of life over one-fourth of the earth. The red horse rider shed the red color of blood with the sword. The black horse rider caused the black around the eyes associated with intense famine. The pale horse rider, whose horse is a pale yellow-green, produces the color associated with pestilence illnesses that cause this pre-demise color by the “bug” of infectious death. The four judgments in this verse are by sword, famine, pestilence, and the beasts of the earth. The same four judgments were passed on Jerusalem during the Babylonian siege.

Ezekiel 14:21 – For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the NOISOME BEAST, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

According to the writings of the Jewish historian Josephus, all four of these judgments came upon Jerusalem during both the Babylonian and the Roman sieges of 587 B.C. and A.D. 70. During the Roman siege the famine became so intense that they ate the babies immediately after they were born.

Luke 21:23,24 – But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. [24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Once again, because of Israel’s ever growing secular departure from belief in the God of Israel, both the land and Jerusalem are again going to be recipients of these judgments.

Zechariah 13:8 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Zechariah 14:1,2 – Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. [2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

But at the end of God’s judgments, Israel will repent and turn to their God through Jesus their Messiah in the Negev wilderness. God will then go forth and fight for them against their enemies, and once again He will restore them to greatness, but this time it will be forever.

Zechariah 14:3 – Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zechariah 13:9 – And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Zechariah 14:11 – And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

Zechariah 14:9 – And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

In areas of the most intense famine areas the carnivorous beasts, once having experienced the taste of weakened human bodies dying of famine, satisfy their new found taste with much human flesh. I do expect this to occur in the Old World nations prior to Columbus, and while I do believe we are going to suffer food shortages in the United States, I do not believe the one-fourth of the world in Revelation 6:8 applies to what is known historically as the Old World.

Revelation 13:17 – And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

And these three different things, any one of which would allow a man to buy or sell: are the mark, the name, and the number of the name – Are they three different things, or they all the same thing? More on this will appear in Part 11, Lord willing.
