When I completed my first book, Tectonic Chaos, in 1976, I had no idea as to the size and prophetic association of the first gigantic Islamic Empire, the Umayyad Caliphate which existed from 650 to 750 AD. Consequently, the quote from my 1976 book, which follows, did not include the Umayyad Caliphate as one of the seven mountains on the beast. I did not identify it as the seventh head. I did not identify it as such until late in the twentieth century.

When I wrote my first book I considered the Revelation beast to picture both an Islamic Caliphate and a supposedly resurrected Caliph Antichrist. After I wrote my last book in the early eighties, I critically considered Chapters 13 and 17, and came to the conclusion that the bleeding head on the beast pictures not only a supposedly resurrected Antichrist, but a resurrected Umayyad Caliphate as well,

Revelation 13:1 – And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having SEVEN HEADS and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The seven heads of the Beast in Revelation 13:1 represent six great world governments that of the past in which Satan has been actively involved. The seventh world government is now rising again at the present time around Israel and will soon produce the Antichrist. Prior to God separating from His wife, the nation of Israel, six great world Kingdoms that existed before, and at, the time of the cross are, in chronological order as follows:

(1) The Egyptian
(2) The Assyrian
(3) The Babylonian
(4) The Medo-Persian
(5) The Grecian
(6) The Roman

The rising seventh Kingdom will incorporate all the cunning and skill in the arts and sciences that have been handed down from the previous six kingdoms. Man has come a long way since the days of the cruel Pharaoh of the Exodus, but all that modern man has learned is based on the root contributions of these six kingdoms – and soon all the knowledge and expertise of sinful mankind will be centered in the final kingdom.

The ten horns of Revelation 13:1 are ten Arab nations who will form the nucleus of the final kingdom, and the ten crowns are the power of the kings that will rile them. For years we have pictured the typical Arab as a scrawny little fellow on a camel in the desert with a comic expression on his face. This viewpoint is quickly changing. Oil is replacing the U.S. dollar in international importance – and soon ten Arab nations will have gained economic control of much of the earth’s wealth. We will not try to stop them because of the Soviet Union – and the Soviet Union will not try to stop them because of us and Red China. The world power block will block itself as the Arab nations prosper in our midst.

Tectonic Chaos – Chapter 19 – The Resurrected Beast

Revelation 13:3 – And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

The seven heads of the beast represent seven evil empires that that have, or shall, persecute the nation of Israel. They are, from the first to the seventh – Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman, and the soon coming seventh empire of the antichrist, which is the wounded head on John’s beast, but represents the little horn that arises from the midst of the ten horns on the fourth beast of Daniel.

Daniel 7:8,21 – I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. [21] I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

John symbolizes antichrist as a bleeding head on his first beast, while Daniel pictures him as the eleventh horn on his fourth beast.

Revelation 13:3 – And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

The word “deadly” is “thanatos.” It is an adjective used as a noun. It simply mean “death.” A deadly wound is a wound that renders someone dead. A deadly wound, unless miraculously healed, is a wound from which the recipient dies stone, cold, dead. Some say that this represents the fourth beast of Daniel, which would be the sixth beast of John, but this same bleeding head on John’s first beast later becomes a non-bleeding head on John’s second beast.

Apparently, the antichrist, who is represented as being the king of the seventh head, suffers a wound from a weapon of war that would kill an ordinary man, but he miraculously recovers. This would explain the last two sentences in the next verse.

Revelation 13:4 – And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The world, as a whole, has never been privy to a confirmed, visual, return of a man from the spiritual world. We accept the resurrection of Christ by faith. The world has long sought for absolute proof of the resurrection of a stone cold dead human. They may finally receive it in the return to life of antichrist from a wound that would kill any other man. Who on this earth could be said to be “like unto” such a man? And how would one be able to win a war against someone who could keep coming back from the dead? In Revelation 13:12 he is again referred to as “the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed,” and in 13:14 as “the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

When John wrote the Book of Revelation the first five kings, which pictured the “mountain” empires of Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Persia, and Greece, had already fallen, and he was writing during the “one is” Roman Empire, which was the sixth. He indicated that one was yet to come, which will be the seventh empire of antichrist. But if the antichrist, as the king of the seventh empire dies from a deadly wound, and then returns as a resurrected man indwelt totally by the spirit of the dragon, he would, in reality, have been the king of both the seventh and eighth empires. He would be the king of an Islamic Empire that would last for three and one-half years.

Revelation 17:10-14 – And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. [11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. [12] And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. [13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. [14] These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

“That was” means the beast was previously alive. “And is not” means the beast died. “Even he is” means he came back to life to be the eighth. It is difficult to follow the personification changes of the antichrist from a beast empire to the king of it. At times he is represented as a dying head on the first beast that comes back to life on the second beast. But in the vast majority of cases, as in Revelation 13, 17, 18, and 19, he is identified as the entire beast.

I have been asked by some WHEN I “think” the beast that is wounded by a weapon of war will be killed. In my opinion it will be just before the blowing of the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:18 and the death of the two witnesses in Jerusalem in Revelation 11:7. I believe he will be Satan incarnate in a body of human flesh at that time, and I think it corresponds with II Thessalonians 2:8.

II Thessalonians 2:8 – And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The 7th and 8th Evil Kingdoms are considered as I because their Kings and Kingdoms are both Islamic Caliphates.

Revelation 17:9 – And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

The woman is the final consolidation of all heretical and apostate religions from all of the false religions, including the apostate Catholic Church and all her heretical offspring.

Revelation 17:10 – And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

When John wrote Revelation the first 5 lines of kings had fallen, namely the (1) Egyptian, (2) Assyrian, (3) Babylonian, (4) Medo-Persian, and (5) Grecian lines. The “one is” was in existence when John wrote was (6), the Roman line of Kings. The “one” that had “not yet come” when John wrote, was (7) the Umayyad lines of Kings (Caliphs), which is counted as one head because it has the same false religion as the 8th king , who is Muslim over a Caliphate resurrected Mountain.

Revelation 17:12,13 – And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. [13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

The 10 horns are most likely Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran.

The 10 horns will experience initial success against Israel, driving her into the Wilderness of the Negev, and keeping her surrounded there for some 1260 days, but when the Second Advent occurs the Lord will return with his followers, and lead Israel to drive out all her enemies.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Daniel 7:24-27 – And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. [25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. [26] But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. [27] And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Revelation 17:14-18 –These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. [15] And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. [16] And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [17] For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. [18] And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

In John’s day the great city of Rome ruled over all the kings of the known world,

Salafist jihadism is a jihadist movement among Salafi Muslims. The term was coined by scholar Gilles Kepel to describe Salafi who became interested in violent jihad during the mid-1990s. Practitioners are often referred to as Salafi jihadis or Salafi jihadists.

Salafism goes all the way back to the Umayyad Caliphate (650 to 750 A.D), and its capital after 660 A.D. was Damascus in Syria. It will be resurrected from the ashes of the dead Umayyad Caliphate in Greater Syria and its Caliph will be the Muslim Antichrist, their Mahdi. The Umayyad Caliphate was the largest of the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian (Macedonian), and Roman Empires which preceded it. The 8th king (caliph) is of the 7, because he, like the 1st, is of the Islamic faith.

The Umayyad Caliphate is the sixth largest empire in history. It was ruled by the Umayyad Dynasty (Banu Umayyah): The name of this dynasty comes from Umayya ibn Abd Shams, the great-grandfather of the first Umayyad caliph. A Salafi is a Muslim who emphasises the Salaf (“predecessors” or “ancestors”), the earliest Muslims, as model examples of Islamic practice. The term has been in use since the Middle Ages but today refers especially to a follower of a modern Sunni Islamic movement known as Salafiyyah or Salafism, which is related to or includes Wahhabism (a name which some of its proponents consider derogatory, preferring the term Salafism), so that the two terms are often viewed as synonymous.[2] Salafism has become associated with literalist, strict and puritanical approaches to Islam and, in the West, with the Salafi Jihadis who espouse violent jihad against civilians as a legitimate expression of Islam.[3] It has been noted that the Western association of Salafi ideology with violence stems from writings done “through the prism of security studies” that were published in the late 20th century, having persisted well into contemporary literature. All are considered to bear the same or similar connotation and have been used interchangeably by Muslim scholars throughout the ages, Ahl al-Hadeeth possibly being the oldest recorded term for these earliest adherents[6] while Ahl as-Sunnah is overwhelmingly used by Muslim scholars, including Salafis as well as others, such as the Ash’ari sect, leading to a narrower use of the term “Salafi”. The Muslim Brotherhood includes the term in the “About Us” section of its website[8] while others exclude that organisation in the belief that the group commits religious innovations. Other self-described contemporary salafis may define themselves as Muslims who follow “literal, traditional … injunctions of the sacred texts” rather than the “somewhat freewheeling interpretation” of earlier salafis. Salafists keep up missile fire after most Palestinian Gaza groups buy a truce

Most Palestinians organizations led by Hamas convened in Gaza City Monday night, Nov. 12, to approve the cessation of their three-day rocket offensive against Israel brokered by Egypt. The meeting was shunned by the Salafists, who instead signaled their repudiation of a truce by firing 5 heavy Grad rockets against the Israeli towns of Netivot, Beersheba and Ofakim.

DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report that the Salafist extremists, some affiliated with al Qaeda, were behind most of the missile attacks during Monday, topping up the 300 assorted rockets fired against the southern Israeli population from Saturday.

Yet Israel, Egypt and even Hamas continued to delude themselves that an effective ceasefire was feasible.

So while, the IDF refrained from striking the rocket teams during the day in expectation of a ceasefire – and instead scattered leaflets reminding Gazans to stay 300 meters back from the Israeli border fence – the Salafists were busier than ever taking delivery of a fresh load of Grad rockets through the smuggling tunnels from Sinai to sustain their continuous barrage against Israel.

The eastgernmost point of those tunnels, the inersection of the Israeli, Egyptian and the Gaza Strip borders, is just out of reach of the Israeli army. For a strike to effectively stop the flow of smuggled hardware, Israel would have to hit the key section which runs through Egyptian territory.

Hamas can’t reach those tunnels either, because the Salafist groups which control the southern section of the Gaza Strip bar their access.

But the Jihad Islam is a different matter. This Iranian proxy does play ball with the Salafists and in fact shares with them some of its own Grad supplies. The Jihad thus plays both sides against the middle – cooperating with Hamas and Egypt to enforce a ceasefire, on the one hand, and helping the Salafists scupper it, with the other.

Gaza’s Palestinian terrorist organizations, including the ruling Hamas, have never upheld any truce for long, only reducing rocket fire to a trickle for long enough to stall a major Israeli attack, and reviving it full blast after a few weeks, The difference this time is that Jihad Islami holds the key to the truce. If Tehran, Damascus and Hizballah wanted a ceasefire to hold up, they would order Jihad to withhold its assistance from the Salafists. But this has not happened.

The view in the high IDF command, which handed its recommendations to the defense minister and prime minister Monday, is that even if the Salafists play along with the Egyptian truce bid for a couple of days to keep the Israeli military off their backs, when things quiet down, they will go back to shooting rockets.

Their purpose is to keep Israel on the hop and its Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on the horns of a dilemma.

Part 7 was an exposition of Deuteronomy 32:22-25 relating to one another in regard to the future actions of Israel after the demise of Moses, and its similarities to the same path the Gentiles are currently taking as they come to the end of their age.

DEUTERONOMY 32:26 – I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

In the last Song of Moses Part 7, I covered the scattering, and terrible suffering, that the people of Israel have suffered across the corners of this earth, since they rejected the Messiah their God had sent them for their deliverance. It indeed happened exactly as Messiah told them it would. About half of the world’s Jewish population, even today, still remains scattered across the earth.

Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

And, indeed, except for the unconditional covenant God made with Abraham, the grandfather of the man Israel, he might have caused them all to be destroyed, and then forgotten by mankind. Since God did not desire for the enemies of Israel to have reason to doubt his existence and power as the only God, he has spared Israel, and will return them to their land to be his people, and he will be their delivering God as Messiah at Armageddon.

DEUTERONOMY 32:27-30 – Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this. [28] For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. [29] O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! [30] How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?

God makes the point that the only reason the nations of the world were allowed to do what they have done to Israel, for some 1940 years, was simply because he allowed them to do so. Just as David defeated Goliath because God, the Rock of Israel, was with him, and thousands fled before him because the Rock put fear in their hearts, it should be apparent to Israel and to the Gentile nations that what has happened to Israel was the permissive will of God. Had God been with them, as their Rock, it would never have happened. Messiah is the living Cornerstone, the living Stone, the Rock of Israel, miraculously cut out of God, the great mountain of all mountains. He was formed in the womb of the Virgin Mary, not by the might and power of the flesh, or by the will of man, but by the Spirit of the living God, who brought Messiah the Headstone forth from Mary through Zerubbabel and Heli, the father of Mary.

Zechariah 4:6-10 – Then he answered and spake unto me saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. [7] Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. [8] Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [9] The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. [10] For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Zechariah 3:8,9 – Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. [9] For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

In Messiah is all the fullness of the Godhead bodily in the completeness of God’s Spirit. Messiah is the stone with the seven eyes of God his Father. He is the stone cut out of God, the great mountain of all mountains, and governor of all governors over all governments. He will return to crush the ten toed, latter day, kingdoms of antichrist, and rule forever as the offspring of David.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Daniel 7:13,14 – I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. [14] And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Part 6 was an exposition of Deuteronomy 32:18-22 relating to one another in regard to the future actions of Israel after the demise of Moses, and its similarities to the same path the Gentiles are currently taking as they come to the end of their age.

WE CLOSED PART 6 WITH THE FOLLOWING 2 SCRIPTURES

DEUTERONOMY 32:22 – For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Revelation 8:5-7 – And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. [6] And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. [7] The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and a
ll green grass was burnt up.

Israel’s punishment as a nation has indeed been as the Song of Moses described it would be. The Nazi holocaust did not spare any of them based on age or sex.

DEUTERONOMY 32:23-25 – For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. [23] I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them. [24] They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. [25] The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

Their temple was made spiritual desolate by Jesus when they rejected him as Messiah, and physically desolate when the Roman Titus overran and the city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.!

Matthew 23:38 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Matthew 24:1,2 – And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. [2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And, as Messiah predicted, the city fell, the temple was leveled, and they were carried into captivity across the face of the earth,

Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Messiah advised them of the horror that was going to come upon them, but he promised he would come again to them, not as a Lamb in a manger, who was sacrificed so that they might put their faith in his flesh and blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of their sins, but as the Lion of Judah. He will come following a time of great trouble like the world has never seen, which I believe could begin between 2014 and 2016. The timing is OPINION, but that it will eventually happen is certain.

Matthew 23:38,39 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. [39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Luke 21:25-28 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. [27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. [28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

There will be a remnant of believing Israelites among the one-third of the population that makes it to the Negev.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 12:17 – And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
