Messiah was, is, and shall forever be the Savior of Israel, the Son of God

He will then return to restore Israel at His Second Advent when the last Vial of Wrath is poured out at the final battle of Armageddon, after which Messiah will restore her to a greatness she has never known. He will rule this planet for a thousand years.

Israel will not need a wall to protect her after Jesus comes at his Second Advent for he will be unto her as a protective wall of fire round about her, and the glory of

God in the midst of her, ruling the world on his Temple Throne from Jerusalem.

Zechariah 2:5 – For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zechariah 14:9 – And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

JESUS WILL RETURN WITH THE SAVED AT 2ND ADVENT AND ALL JEWS WILL RETURN HOME, WHERE JESUS WILL RULE OVER ALL NATIONS!

Psalm 17:8,9 – Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, [9] From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

Deuteronomy 32:9-11,15 – For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. [10] He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. [11] As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: [15] But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Israel rejected the Rock of its salvation who was God himself incarnate, the Rock that led them and followed them, the God-man Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 10:1-4 – Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; [2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; [3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat; [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

God has not utterly forsaken the apple of his eye. He left their temple desolate for their rejection of him, but will once again take them back under his wings at his 2nd Advent.

Matthew 23:37-39 – O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

[38] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

[39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The nations of the world that have abused Israel, especially those who come against her in the tribulation period, and even more so those still here during the seven vials of God’s wrath, will pay a price for it by the hand of God.

Zechariah 2:9 – For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.

Haggai 2:6,7 – For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; [7] And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

There will be obstacles. In some places fences,

some places ditches and some places patrols to make it difficult for terrorists to infiltrate into our cities, said an Israeli official familiar with the project.

A fence will make it almost impossible to cross by foot into Israel as many laborers and construction workers do before dawn every morning, darting behind olive and almond trees to avoid being seen by soldiers guarding against infiltrators.

Many are worried they will be separated from relatives living in Arab villages in Israel only a stone’s throw from the West Bank, and Palestinian land owners are concerned their land will be expropriated to build the fence.

But in the nearby city of Afula, which has been hit by several Palestinian suicide bombings and shooting attacks, the prospect of a fence is a welcome relief. ‘It will make it harder for terrorists to reach us,’ Yossi, the owner of a falafel restaurant, said.

The fence is part of a plan by Israel to set up barricades, buffer zones, observation equipment, and obstacle courses to divide Israel from the West Bank after the most devastating wave of Palestinian bombings the country has ever seen.

Avi Dichter, the head of Israel’s Shin Bet security service, recently told a parliamentary committee that militants in the Gaza Strip, which is completely sealed off from Israel by a fence, had failed

to carry out any suicide bombings.

This view finally convinced the government to step up its fence building plans, which, according to Israeli media, will MORE OR LESS follow the pre-1967 lines which divided Israel from the Jordanian-held West Bank. The fence is likely to be electrified with a dirt track alongside that soldiers and trackers will patrol.

I strongly suspect that in the area of dense Jewish settlements inside the West Bank the fence will be placed well inside the Green Line to allow for a safety margin of protection for the Jewish settlers. Don’t be surprised if the Israelis keep large chunks of the fringes of the West Bank to preserve up to 70 percent of their settlements. The sooner the Palestinians and terrorist sponsoring nations decide to call off the terrorists and negotiate, the more land they will get.

ISRAEL WON’T NEED A MANMADE WALL AFTER MESSIAH RETURNS

ZECHARIAH 2:5 – For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

God spread Israelis throughout all the nations by her conquerors between 70 and 135 AD after they rejected their Messiah, but he began to draw them back in the 1930’s. After they came though the horrific Nazi Holocaust God increased the flow and Israel was declared to be a State in 1948.

However, until 2010 there were more Israelis living among Gentiles (Daughters of Babylon) than there were in the State of Israel. But the greatest re-gathering of Israelites per unit time in the history of Israel is yet to come after Messiah’s Second Advent, and Gentiles will provide the transportation after every Jew and Gentile eye sees him return in the heavens in the Glory of God. This return is the one described in Zechariah 2:6. God will bring those still living in the north quadrant where they have suffered by far the greatest persecution, as well as from the east, south, and west quadrants, were they suffered varying degrees of persecution. All Jews will return to Israel in this huge gathering.

ZECHARIAH 2:6 – Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord.

The final re-gathering will be a time of great joy for God, the Angels, the Saved, and Israel, the Apple of His Eye – Especially for those who came out of the apostate Babylon and her Daughters of False Religion.

Revelation 18:4-6 – And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. ZECHARIAH 2:7 – Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

The basic root meaning Hebrew word translated “deliver” is to “make smooth” and both Strong’s Dictionary and Wilson’s Old Testament Word Study say it means to “make smooth, to escape, to make slippery.” In the context of this verse it implies for one “to let God make them smooth to pass through a small passage,” which they cannot pass with rough edges. Wilson says: “to escape from some imminent danger by slipping.”

Matthew 7:13.14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Bracing for Palestinian Statehood Bid Fallout

GAZA CITY, 4 October 2011 (IRIN) – As reports come in that the USA may be preparing to cut a substantial portion of the aid it gives to the Palestinian Authority (PA) if the Palestinian statehood bid is successful, people in the occupied Palestinian territory are bracing for possible consequences.

Still branded a “terrorist” organization by the Quartet (European Union, UN, US and Russia), the Hamas-led government in the Gaza Strip is developing programmes to assist the poorest families as the threat of sanctions by Israel and/or the USA looms.

“We are seeking alternative aid to Gaza from Arab nations,” said Omar Al-Derbi,

assistant deputy social affairs minister in Gaza. A new programme under the ministry to begin in October pairs Gaza families in need directly with families from Gulf countries. Ten thousand Gaza beneficiaries will receive 1,000 shekels (US$267) every three months for the coming year.

Beneficiaries, interviewed by over 200 social workers in Gaza, include widows and the unemployed.

Shahrazad AbuThuria, 41, from Gaza City, and her six children live in a two-room garage without insulation. Her husband left her 16 years ago, and she is now unemployed. As a refugee Shahrazad receives food assistance from the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) every three months, but it is not enough to feed her family, she says.

She applied to the Gaza social affairs ministry for assistance a year ago, and says a social worker visits periodically, but her case is still under review.

“My daughter, Nida, 15, had to stop attending school, since I can’t afford uniforms,” she said. “It will for sure get worse. The siege will tighten and donor funds will decrease.”

The USA has been giving about US$200 million annually for PA budget support and roughly $350 million to support humanitarian and development projects – mainly channelled through the US State Department, the US Agency for International Development and NGOs – and not through the PA, said Ghassan Al-Khatib, spokesperson for the PA in Ramallah.

One in four Palestinians lives below the “poverty line” (defined as $609 per month for a household of two adults and three children), according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), including 18 percent of Palestinians living in the West Bank and 38 percent living in the Gaza Strip. PCSB also found that 14 percent of Palestinians were living in “deep poverty” ($478 per month for a household of two adults and three children), with 8 percent in the West Bank and 23 percent in Gaza.

These are the people most likely to be affected by possible sanctions.

“[Palestinian president Mahmoud] Abbas’s move to the UN may make our situation worse, the siege may tighten,” said Majda Bedawi, a 36-year-old refugee from Beach Camp in Gaza. She has nine children and her husband has been unemployed for five years.

Some 87,000 Palestinian families – 47,000 in the West Bank and 40,000 in Gaza – are receiving social assistance in 2011 from a “national cash transfer programme” administered by the EU, World Bank, and the PA social affairs ministry in the West Bank, says the PA – an increase on previous years.

About 55,000 families receive EU assistance, 5,000 receive assistance from the Bank, and 27,000 from the PA (this latter group has increased in the past year).

The full integration of Gaza beneficiaries under the programme is expected by the end of 2011.

As of June 2011, payments to beneficiaries in the West Bank have been transferred into individual bank accounts. For Gaza beneficiaries, benefits will continue to be paid over-the-counter until the transition to the national programme is effective.

This year’s third quarterly payment was made on 3 October.

Gaza-PA rift

Lack of communication between the PA social affairs ministry and its counterpart in Gaza is affecting the ability of impoverished families in Gaza to enter the system – although, there is greater cooperation between the two ministries than in other sectors like health care.

The EU and the Bank only deal with the PA on an official level, and limit contact with the Gaza government to coordination on logistics.

The USA has been giving about US$200 million annually for PA budget support and roughly $350 million to support humanitarian and development projects – mainly channelled through the US State Department, the US Agency for International Development and NGOs – and not through the PA, said Ghassan Al-Khatib, spokesperson for the PA in Ramallah.

According to a Reuters report, the Obama administration is asking Congress to unblock its freeze on budget support assistance, imposed by the lawmakers as punishment for the PA’s bid for UN recognition of statehood.

Meanwhile, Gaza officials have been complaining about the lack of assistance from the PA. “The PA is not transferring sufficient funds as a result of the internal political conflict,” said Al-Derbi. “The ministry requested 18,000 additional families in Gaza receive assistance,” he added.

Gaza was not consulted on the statehood proposal to the UN.

PUTIN UNITING EXCERPT FOLLOWS EZEKIEL HEADING EXPOSITION

Ezekiel 38:1,2 – “And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [2] Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him.” Gog (high extension) appears for the first time in Ezekiel. He is the Anti-chr

ist of whom so much has been written.

Please note that he is identified as the “chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.” Many commentators, especially in the last 100 years, have not identified him as the Antichrist, but have identified him as the ruler or chief prince of the land of Magog, which I do not believe Scripture justifies.

Before the 20th Century, most identified him as the Antichrist. In verse 2 Ezekiel is told to set his face against two separate things, a person and a place.

The person is Gog (Antichrist), and the place is the land of the descendants of Magog where it existed in Ezekiel’s day. If we do not locate the territories of Magog, Meshech, and Tubal as they existed in Ezekiel’s day, then we can have no idea as to where the Antichrist will soon rear his head, or the area from which his attack will be launched. More than 2500 years have slipped by since Ezekiel wrote his prophecies, and the bloodlines of all three men been distributed across the entire planet. In order to correctly identify the area, from whence the Antichrist will attack Israel, we must identify where the descendants of Meshech and Tubal were residing in 500 and 600 B.C. Why? Because the Antichrist is not the chief prince of Magog, he is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

He will come from the area where their descendants were settled in 500 and 600 B.C.

I will attempt to use two different sources to locate where the descendants of Meshech and Tubal were clustered at the time of Ezekiel’s writings. The first is found in the 27th chapter of Ezekiel, and the second is from the Assyrian monument stones of that period. Ezekiel 27:3 – “And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.” Tyrus (Tyre) was a seaport on the southern coast of what we know today as Lebanon, which is directly north of Israel. Tyrus built its first great sea wall to protect its harbored ships more than 3000 years ago, and was a thriving seaport in Ezekiel’s day. Its ships carried merchandise from the countries of the east across all the Mediterranean, and even as far north as the shores of the English Channel. Zidon (Sidon) was also a sea port, and less than 20 miles separated the two cities.

The wise men of Tyrus were the navigators of the ships, and the men of Zidon were the deck hands, as portrayed in Ezekiel 27:8 – “The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.” Now, bearing all this in mind, let us look at Ezekiel 27:13 – “Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.” Meshech and Tubal were warlike tribes, who often took their captives (persons of men) and the vessels of brass they had captured, or hammered out themselves, and carried them to the NEAREST seaport for trading. The captives were, of course, loaded on the ships and sold as slaves in foreign ports of trade. Why the NEAREST seaport? Because, in Ezekiel’s day, travel was by foot, donkey, camel, and horse.

People always carried their trading goods to the nearest port, particularly slaves. Therefore, I conclude that Meshech and Tubal must have roamed in the area we know today as Syria, Lebanon, northwestern Iraq, and southern Turkey. Meshech and Tubal are the Mushki and Tabali of the Assyrian stone monuments. In the time of Sargon and Sennacherib (700 B.C.) the territory of Tubal adjoined southern Cilicia, while that of Meshech filled the highlands to the east of Tubal. Considering the locations derived from the Bible and stone tablets, it appears that the Antichrist, as the chief prince of the area once occupied by Meshech and Tubal, is likely to arise, and eventually to attack Israel, from Syria or Lebanon. And, since Lebanon is virtually controlled by Syria, it appears Syria is the best guess for his homeland.

Ezekiel 38:1-3 – “And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [2] Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, [3] And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:”

I established, from the Scriptures and the Assyrian stone monuments, that the descendants of Meshech and Tubal, at the time Ezekiel wrote his prophecies, were primarily located in what we know as Syria and Lebanon. We also established that the prophecy is again a person, Gog (Antichrist), and against a land, the land of Magog. I am convinced that the Antichrist will attack Israel from Syria. Now, what about the “land of Magog?” Where were the Magogites located at the time of Ezekiel’s writings? Flavius Josephus, a noted Jewish historian makes the following statements concerning the Magogites in Antiquities of the Jews, Chapter VI, under the title, HOW EVERY NATION WAS DENOMINATED FROM THEIR FIRST INHABITANTS: “Japhet, the son of Noah, had seven sons.” “They called the nations by their own names.” “Magog founded those that from him were called Magogites, but who by the Greeks were called Scythians.”

The Greek writers of the Classic Age said the Scythians occupied the area which today we identify as stretching from Moldova eastward across the Ukraine, southern Russia, and into Kazakhstan, then southward into Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, and finally into northwestern China and Mongolia.

I do not believe the nations in this area will join in the initial attack against Israel, but I am certain they will come down for the final battle of Gog’ s war, which i

s the Battle of Armageddon. The Battle of Armageddon, found in Revelation 16:16, is the final battle in Gog’s war, which began 3 and ½ years earlier.

Verse 3 fails to include the “land of Magog,” and is a message directly pointed, and personally addressed, against the Antichrist Gog, who once again is identified as the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Popular writers in the last century brought a teaching into play that is simply not true. They said the word “chief” was “rosh” in the Hebrew language, which is true. But they said it meant “Russian,” which is not true. The Russian and Hebrew language have never overlapped in history to support such a claim. He is not a Russian prince. He is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, most likely having a Syrian father. The word “rosh,” in the KJV, is translated as “chief” 90 times, as “head” 349 times, as “top” 75 times, as “beginning” 14 times, as “company” 12 times, as “captain” 10 times, as “sum” 9 times, as “first” 6 times, as “principle” 5 times, as “chief man” 4 times, and as “ruler” on two occasions. At no time, in all of history, could it legitimately be identified as someone who is a Russian.

This chief prince of Meshech and Tubal will come from either northwestern Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, or southern Turkey, but I will be very much surprised if his father is not from a country that was once a part of the ancient Assyrian Empire. He will be the leader of multilateral Arab forces that will carry out a surprise attack against Israel from the north.

I believe this is spoken of in Revelation 17:12,13 – “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. [13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”

Although he will have the support of ten Arab nations, I believe the nations directly involved

in the initial attack will be Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran from without, and the Palestinians from within. I believe the other nations, which will then immediately become involved in the Jihad, are most likely Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Sudan.

Putin Proposes Creating ‘Eurasian Union’

MOSCOW (AP) — Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has proposed forming a “Eurasian Union” of former Soviet nations, saying the bloc could become a major global player competing for influence with the United States, the European Union and Asia.

Putin, who has lamented the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union as the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century,” denied that his proposal represents an attempt to rebuild the Soviet empire.

But he said in an article published Tuesday in the daily Izvestia that the new alliance should emerge as “one of the poles of the modern world, serving as an efficient link between Europe and the dynamic Asia-Pacific region.”

Putin, who is all but certain to reclaim the presidency in March’s election, has been accused of rolling back Russia’s post-Soviet democratic achievements during his two terms as president

in 2000-2008.

He has remained Russia’s de-facto leader after shifting into the premier’s job due to a term limit, and his protege and successor Dmitry Medvedev proposed last month that Putin run for president.

“There is no talk about rebuilding the USSR in one way or another,” Putin said. “It would be naive to try to restore or copy something that belongs to the past, but a close integration based on new values and economic and political foundation is a demand of the present time.”

Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan already have formed an economic alliance that has removed customs barriers in mutual trade during the past summer.

They are to introduce unified market rules and regulations starting Jan. 1. Putin said that Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are expected to join the grouping.

“We aren’t going to stop at that and are putting forward an ambitious task of reaching a new, higher level of integration with the Eurasian Union,” Putin said. “Along with other key players and regional structures, such as the European Union, the United States, China and the Asia Pacific Economic Community, it should ensure stability of global development.”

Russia has long called for stronger cooperation between ex-Soviet nations, but earlier attempts at forging closer ties between them have failed due to sharp economic differences.

Many former Soviet nations have looked westward and remain suspicious of Moscow’s intentions, setting a rocky path to Putin’s “Eurasian Union.”

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, considered more Russia-friendly than his pro-Western predecessor, has continued to focus on closer relations with the European Union, shattering Moscow’s hopes for luring Ukraine into its orbit. Yanukovych complained last month that the Kremlin was trying to coerce Ukraine into joining the customs union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, and said that he wouldn’ t yield

to pressure.

Even Russia’s ties with its closest ally, Belarus, has been marred by tensions. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, whose government is struggling with a spiraling financial crisis, has staunchly resisted Moscow’s push for controlling stake in Belarus’ top state-controlled industrial assets.

Putin’s plan also comes in potential competition with the Eastern Partnership, an initiative launched two years ago by Poland and Sweden, which aims to deepen European Union integration with six ex-Soviet nations: Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Putin argued that deeper integration between ex-Soviet nations shouldn’t contradict their aspirations to forge closer ties with the EU.

Some observers said that Putin’s article heralds what could become a top policy goal after his return to presidency. “From the geopolitical viewpoint it represents an attempt to revive the USSR,” Alexander Dugin, a political scholar and a longtime proponent of Russian expansionism, said in comments in online news agency Nakanune.

Others were skeptical. Dmitry Oreshkin, an independent political expert, said on Ekho Moskvy radio that Putin’s proposal was merely a campaign trick aimed at voters nostalgic about the Soviet past.

The Seals, the Trumpets, and the Vials of Revelation

Part 4 – The Fourth Seal

The first four seals of Revelation open before the period known as the tribulation period. They occur during the period of time Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows.”

Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The first seal has opened and then closed. The second, third, and fourth seals are already open, and will remain open until the end of the tribulation period, and all three will rapidly intensify when it begins. Its major effects will be experienced in the “Old World.” The word used for “pestilence” is “loimos,” which means “any deadly infectious disorder.” Death is the usual resultant of most deadly infectious disorders, and the corpse of pestilence often has a pale, greenish-yellow, jaundice appearance, as is found representing the color of the pale horse in the fourth seal.

Revelation 6:7,8 – And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Many plagues have passed through mankind since the fall, but none have generated a massive epidemic that just kept on accelerating, with seemingly no end on the horizon. Cholera, small pox, typhoid, bubonic plague, and so on, have appeared in short bursts like false labor, but none has ever produced a persistent, ever increasing, epidemic characteristic with seemingly no end. But now, for the first time in history, we have a “loimos,” a deadly infectious disorder, which has perfectly matched these characteristics from its inception, and is still increasing at epidemic proportions after more than 20 years. HIV is the deadly infectious virus that swept across the globe like wildfire. HIV cases worldwide increased from a trace in 1980 to more than 5 million in 1985, to

more than 10 million in 1990, to more than 20 million in 1995, to 35 million in 2000, and now stand at 45 million in 2003. AIDS, the dreadful blossom of HIV, was first reported in a British sailor, who died from it in England in 1959. The hardest hit areas are those who are part of the “Old World” that was the known world during the Roman Empire.

Africa is by far the hardest hit area, but it is still spreading into the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and what were once the satellite nations of the Soviet Union.

There were 5 million new HIV cases in 2002, and 3.1 million died of HIV/AIDS the same year. Researchers have found medicines to prolong the lives of those who develop the virus, but I do not believe it likely doctors will ever find a vaccination or cure for it.

HIV is not the only deadly infection order increasing in the “Old World.” The World Health Organization fears that tuberculosis may kill 30 million during the next 25 years.

The emergence of drug-resistant strains, and the spread of HIV have both hampered efforts by health agencies to slow the renewed spread of the consumptive pestilence. Thirty new infectious diseases have come to life since 1970. Other new viruses will be formed by mutations, and some are likely to be resistant to current antibiotics.

A List of Six Deadly Infectious Microbe Super Bugs

The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) has released a list of infectious microbes that are increasingly resistant to most antibiotics and other drugs. The six superbugs:

1. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus can cause severe illness and death.
2. Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae cause urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, and wound infections.
3. Acinetobacter baumannii is a cause of hospital-acquired pneumonia.
4. Aspergillus is a fungal infection that affects patients with compromised immune systems.
5. Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium cause bloodstream, heart, and intra-abdominal infections.
6. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is responsible for life-threatening infections in immunocompromised patients, particularly children with cystic fibrosis.

Martin J. Blaser, MD, president of IDSA says, “Our ammunition is running out and there are no reinforcements in sight.” While pharmaceutical companies focus on developing more profitable drugs, drug-resistant germs proliferate.

In its 2004 report, Bad Bugs, No Drugs: As Antibiotic Discovery Stagnates, A Public Health Crisis Brews, the IDSA urged the US government to encourage pharmaceuticals to invest in antimicrobial research and development.

Yet as soon as new, stronger drugs are developed, the microbes outwit scientists by evolving resistance to the new drugs. A focus on research and development in preventive medicine–immune-boosting–would seem to be a better long-term solution.

Characteristics of Deadly Infectious Microbe Super Bugs

Staphylococcus aureus

Main article: MRSA

Staphylococcus aureus (colloquially known as “Staph aureus” or a Staph infection) is one of the major resistant pathogens. Found on the mucous membranes and the human skin of around a third of the population, it is extremely adaptable to antibiotic pressure.

It was one of the earlier bacteria in which penicillin resistance was found—in 1947, just four years after the drug started being mass-produced. Methicillin was then the antibiotic of choice, but has since been replaced by oxacillin due to significant kidney toxicity. MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) was first detected in Britain in 1961 and is now “quite common” in hospitals. MRSA was responsible for 37% of fatal cases of sepsis in the UK in 1999, up from 4% in 1991. Half of all S. aureus infections in the US are resistant to penicillin, methicillin, tetracycline and erythromycin.
This left vancomycin as the only effective agent available at

the time. However, strains with intermediate (4-8 μg/ml) levels of resistance, termed GISA (glycopeptide intermediate Staphylococcus aureus) or VISA (vancomycin intermediate Staphylococcus aureus), began appearing in the late 1990s. The first identified case was in Japan in 1996, and strains have since been found in hospitals in England, France and the US. The first documented strain with complete (>16 μg/ml) resistance to vancomycin, termed VRSA (Vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) appeared in the United States in 2002.
A new class of antibiotics, oxazolidinones, became available in the 1990s, and the first commercially available oxazolidinone, linezolid, is comparable to vancomycin in effectiveness against MRSA. Linezolid-resistance in Staphylococcus aureus was reported in 2003.
CA-MRSA (Community-acquired MRSA) has now emerged as an epidemic that is responsible for rapidly progressive, fatal diseases including necrotizing pneumonia, severe sepsis and necrotizing fasciitis Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is the most frequently identified antimicrobial drug-resistant pathogen in US hospitals. The epidemiology of infections caused by MRSA is rapidly changing. In the past 10 years, infections caused by this organism have emerged in the community. The 2 MRSA clones in the United States most closely associated with community outbreaks, USA400 (MW2 strain, ST1 lineage) and USA300, often contain Panton-Valentine leukocidin (PVL) genes and, more frequently, have been associated with skin and soft tissue infections. Outbreaks of community-associated (CA)-MRSA infections have been reported in correctional facilities, among athletic teams, among military recruits, in newborn nurseries, and among men who have sex with men. CA-MRSA infections now appear to be endemic in many urban regions and cause most CA-S. aureus infections.
Streptococcus and Enterococcus
Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A Streptococcus: GAS) infections can usually be treated with many different antibiotics. Early treatment may reduce the risk of death from invasive group A streptococcal disease. However, even the best medical care does not prevent death in every case. For those with very severe illness, supportive care in an intensive care unit may be needed. For persons with necrotizing fasciitis, surgery often is needed to remove damaged tissue. Strains of S.

pyogenes resistant to macrolide antibiotics have emerged, however all strains remain uniformly sensitive to penicillin.
Resistance of Streptococcus pneumoniae to penicillin and other beta-lactams is increasing worldwide. The major mechanism of resistance involves the introduction of mutations in genes encoding penicillin-binding proteins. Selective pressure is thought to play an important role, and use of beta-lactam antibiotics has been implicated as a risk factor for infection and colonization. Streptococcus pneumoniae is responsible for pneumonia, bacteremia, otitis media, meningitis, sinusitis, peritonitis and arthritis. Penicillin-resistant pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae (commonly known as pneumococcus), was first detected in 1967, as was penicillin-resistant gonorrhea. Resistance to penicillin substitutes is also known as beyond S. aureus. By 1993 Escherichia coli was resistant to five fluoroquinolone variants. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is commonly resistant to isoniazid and rifampin and sometimes universally resistant to the common treatments. Other pathogens showing some resistance include Salmonella, Campylobacter, and Streptococci.[citation needed]
Multidrug-resistant Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium are associated with nosocomial infections.[46] Among these strains, penicillin-resistant Enterococcus was seen in 1983, vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) in 1987, and linezolid-resistant Enterococcus in the late 1990s.[citation needed]
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a highly prevalent opportunistic pathogen. One of the most worrisome characteristics of P. aeruginosa consists in its low antibiotic susceptibility. This low susceptibility is attributable to a concerted action of multidrug efflux pumps with chromosomally-encoded antibiotic resistance genes

(for example, mexAB-oprM, mexXY etc.) and the low permeability of the bacterial cellular envelopes.[ Besides intrinsic resistance, P. aeruginosa easily develop acquired resistance either by mutation in chromosomally-encoded genes, or by the horizontal gene transfer of antibiotic resistance determinants. Development of multidrug resistance by P.

aeruginosa isolates requires several different genetic events that include acquisition of different mutations and/or horizontal transfer of antibiotic resistance genes. Hypermutation favours the selection of mutation-driven antibiotic resistance in P. aeruginosa strains producing chronic infections, whereas the clustering of several different antibiotic resistance genes in integrons favours the concerted acquisition of antibiotic resistance determinants. Some recent studies have shown that phenotypic resistance associated to biofilm formation or to the emergence of small-colony-variants may be important in the response of P. aeruginosa populations to antibiotics treatment.
Clostridium difficile
Clostridium difficile is a nosocomial pathogen that causes diarrheal disease in hospitals world wide.

Clindamycin-resistant C. difficile was reported as the causative agent of large outbreaks of diarrheal disease in hospitals in New York, Arizona, Florida and Massachusetts between 1989 and 1992. Geographically dispersed outbreaks of C. difficile strains resistant to fluoroquinolone antibiotics, such as Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and Levaquin (levofloxacin), were also reported in North America in 2005.
Salmonella and E. coli
Escherichia coli and Salmonella come directly from contaminated food. Of the meat that is contaminated with E. coli, eighty percent of the bacteria are resistant to one or more drugs made; it causes bladder infections that are resistant to antibiotics (“HSUS Fact Sheet”). Salmonella was first found in humans in the 1970s and in some cases is resistant to as many as nine different antibiotics (“HSUS Fact Sheet”). When both bacterium are spread, serious health conditions arise. Many people are hospitalized each year after becoming infected, and some die as a result.
[edit] Acinetobacter baumannii
On November 5, 2004, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported an increasing number of Acinetobacter baumannii bloodstream infections in patients at military medical facilities in which service members injured in the Iraq/Kuwait region during Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom were treated. Most of these showed multidrug resistance (MRAB), with a few isolates resistant to all drugs tested.

Lord willing, I will present a summary of the final result of the second, third, and fourth riders activities in the next update. We are headed for an unbelievable chain of horrifying events, but only a handful believes it.

The Residue of the Jewish people will flee into the Negev Wilderness, which is the largest part of Israel, and remain there after a truce for some 3 & ½ Years.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman (Israel) fled into the wilderness (Negev), where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days (1260 days).

Jeremiah 31:2 – Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

The Lord will fight for her by constraining the forces of the Islamic Antichrist from attempting to wipe out Israel until the final battle of Armageddon

Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh told an audience in Tehran on Sunday that only armed resistance would liberate Palestinian land, and that a two-state solution with a Palestinian state existing side-by-side with Israel would fail.

Haniyeh, whose comments were transmitted to a video conference in the Iranian capital, said that only Intifada, or armed resistance, is capable of liberating “occupied Palestinian land” and “restoring the rights” of the Palestinian people.

Haniyeh continued to doubt Palestinian Authority efforts to work with the international community to gain recognition for a Palestinian state, saying that a two-state solution as recommended by the European Union and the United States was a fallacy, and insisted that it would fail.

The Hamas leader said that negotiations were a “mirage,” and that only through armed resistance could Jerusalem and “the land” be liberated.

He urged Palestinian negotiators not to make any settlements given their failure to “restore the rights” of the Palestinian people, including the right of return for Palestinian refugees.

Haniyeh has been consistently critical of the Palestinian Authority’s efforts at the United Nations to gain state recognition, saying that “liberation” of the land comes before the “state.”

The Hamas leader has dismissed the UN, saying the international body is “controlled by the Americans and others,” and that its political orientation is “not beneficial.”
