EVENT 8 – Christ returns with all the saved some 1335 days after the initial attack of Islamic forces against Israel.

On the sounding of the 7th Trumpet, the last in a series of seven, all the saved on earth,

including 144,000 sealed Jews, are caught up at the rapture to heaven, and are judged there while God’s seven vials of wrath are poured out on the earth and its unbelievers.

For the first time since the death of Abel, all the saved souls are in heaven being judged for the way their saved souls lived after experiencing their individual salvations. There will be loss of rewards experienced at Christ’s judgment seat.

Revelation 11:15,18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and

ever. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

As the saved are being judged for rewards or the lack of them in heaven, the unbelievers, that destroy the earth by immorality, are being destroyed by the seven vials of God’s wrath. The two verses in Luke 21:25,26, which describe the effects of the vials of wrath, immediately precede Christ’s Second Advent in Luke 21:27.

Luke 21:25-27 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. [27] AND THEN SHALL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY.

[9] And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Ezekiel 37:24-28 – And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. [25] And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. After an incredibly day on world markets, the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Legarde, warned of a looming “collapse in global demand” which threatens to push economies around the world into a new recession.

“Dark clouds over Europe and huge uncertainty in the United States” mean that “the challenge could not be more urgent.” She told this to the politicians and leading economists in Washington, who are working there in an attempt to tackle world’s economic woes.

Yesterday, Poland’s Finance Minister told CNBC that the [potential] coming collapse of Europe’s monetary union would significantly enhance the risk of war.
Perhaps it is fortunate for Poland that, although they joined the European Union in 2004, they did not and have yet to adopt the euro.

Nonetheless, Jacek Rostowski is quite worried about the potential of the euro collapse, explaining how the EU has been “one of the two great pillars” bringing overall peace and security to Europe for over 60 years. If the euro zone crumbles, the EU is likely to collapse as well. That could create a perfect recipe for disaster over the next couple of decades.

Meanwhile, the euro is in an extremely delicate place…one false move and it’ s done for.

And that will complicate matters on a whole other level…a violent one.

Qaddafi enlists new 12,000-strong army of Tuareg tribal fighters

Muammar Qaddafi and his sons have raised a new army of 12,000 soldiers – all fighters of loyal Tuareg tribes of the Sahara, DEBKAfile’s military sources report.
Hundreds of kilometers to the north, Libyan rebel troops clashed with Qaddafi loyalists in his home town of Sirte after reportedly entering the town from the west.

Although rebel ranks are seriously divided, they derived encouragement from NATO’s decision to extend its naval and air campaign in Libya by another 90 days to help them dislodge Qaddafi’s troops from the cities they are still holding.

Saturday, Sept. 24, his daughter Aisha said in an audio recording that her father was in high spirits and fighting alongside his supporters.

Last week, our sources report, a Tuareg tribal council convened in Niger extended full protection to Qaddafi, his sons, his military chiefs and the still-loyal members of the ousted regime. Members of the rebel National Transitional Council were proclaimed enemies of the tribes.

Three days earlier, the NTC claimed the capture of the southern desert town of Sabha, even though they only reached its outskirts.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the nomadic Touareg roam freely through the Saharan regions which cover all of eastern Algeria, eastern Mali, western Niger, northern Burkina Faso and southern Libya, fiercely independent of all five governments. They are renowned as crack desert special operations fighters with extraordinary stamina, who can subsist on 100 grams of dried dates and a half liter of water for 24 hours while covering 100 kilometers on foot. They don’t need to carry water because of their hereditary knowledge of the Sahara’s hidden springs.
By recruiting them, Qaddafi has assured his forces and top officials safety of movement through all five African countries, out of range of NATO air strikes and rebel attacks.

Indeed, the Tuareg tribal council sent warnings to the rulers of Niger, where some of Qaddafi’s generals and troops have gone to ground, that if any harm comes to them or if they are arrested, the tribes will turn their guns on the Niamey government and its f

orces.

Taking advantage of their new freedom, the ousted ruler’s son Saadi Qaddafi and his personal security director Gen. Mansour Daw, who arrived in Niger in early September at the head of a 200-truck military convoy, crossed back into Libya this week for an unknown destination.

There were earlier reports of their detention in Niger.

On Sept. 7, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources located Qaddafi, his sons and several thousand fighters, at the Saharan oasis of Targan, a few hundred kilometers southwest of the Libyan oasis city of Jiffra.

He is presumed to have moved on to a new hideout since then, closely guarded by his Tuareg allies.

Another Qaddafi son, Khamis, commander of the 32nd Li byan Brigade whom the rebels and Western media reported killed, is said

by our sources to be still in action against rebel forces at the head of this 3,000-strong elite unit.

Prevented by NATO air strikes and oversight from large-scale military movements among rebel strongholds, he has split them up into units of 20-30 fighters and scattered them around various battle zones for forays against rebel military and strategic key points.

They have begun hit-and-run strikes in the towns of Brega, Ras Lanouf and Zawiya, unreported by NATO or rebel spokesmen.

I like it, because it fits well with my likely time for war beginning sometime between 2013 and 2015, which I first issued in 2008.

Early Palestinian protesters in massive protests in the West Bank will be peaceful, but will intensify with the passage of tine – It’s just a matter of time. Their leaders have briefed them to have peaceful protests at first to impress the international audience as being a poor people oppressed by Crusaders and Jewish Murderers. But their rulers can only keep descendants of the wild man Ishmael and Keturah under emotional control. And the protests will eventually turn violent.

God, who owns the land, gave it to the descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob (Israel). God did not give the Land to the descendants of Abraham through Ishmael, but the Kings of the Earth today are setting themselves together God and breaking the bonds of laws upon which our present court laws were based.

Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The long fuse to the dynamite has been lighted. I believe it is likely to reach the dynamite at some point in time between 2013 and 2015 to explode into the final war in the Middle East, a war which will end with its final battle some three and one half years later at Armageddon.

Israel mobilizes 22,000 police, thousands of troops, for Palestinian disturbances

Israeli police have mobilized 22,000 officers and border police alongside thousands of soldiers as the country’s forces go on the highest level of preparedness ahead of Palestinian prayers and demonstrations Friday, Sept. 23, in support of their application for UN approval

of statehood.

Beefed up police and troops are preparing for the rallies to turn violent and surge out of the Palestinian towns.

They are also deployed at mixed population centers of Jews and Arabs up and down the country to avert clashes and concentrated on the Green Line enclosing the West Bank and the approaches to Jerusalem.

In defiance of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ directive for rallies to stay within the limits of Palestinian towns and remain orderly, the PA’s Religious Affairs Minister Mahmoud Habbash secretly instructed the imams Thursday to turn up the volume of their loudspeakers at Friday prayers and keep on shouting Allah is Great!

This call coming from Al Aqsa on Temple Mount aims at reaching every Muslim in the West Bank and Israel.

Israeli security chiefs are treating this call, characteristic of suicide bombers, as a war cry for stirring up riots.

Israel’s military, Shin Bet security service and police went on elevated preparedness for trouble Wednesday night, Sept.

21, after receiving information that the Palestinian Hamas and other radical groups were preparing to stage violent confrontations with Israel on the West Bank, exploiting the anti-US mood sweeping Palestinian areas after President Barack Obama’s UN speech.

Western Middle East experts rate his address as the most supportive of Israel ever delivered at the world body by any US president.

It has stirred powerful emotions of resentment and disappointment among the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Crowds gathered in Ramallah and the streets of West Bank towns Wednesday – originally to celebrate the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ application for UN recognition of Palestinian statehood – instead shouted anti-US slogans and burned American flags.

Hamas and its radical allies determined to seize the moment for taking charge of the rallies set up by the Palestinian Authority and the rival Fatah for the rest of the week in the expectation of a UN victory.

The intelligence received in Israel reveals directions to all the extremist organizations close to Hamas, like for instance the Association of young Muslims on the West Bank, to go into action Thursday and build up to a climax Friday, Sept. 23. They were told to break into Jewish settlements to vandalize and torch homes, taking their model from the mass storming of the Israeli embassy in Cairo on Sept. 10.

Friday, Palestinians were told to mob the checkpoints guarding Jerusalem, make for Aqsa Mosque on Temple Mount. Riots and start a rampage there which would be sure to attract world attention to the Palestinian protest against President Obama and US support for Israel.

The Palestinian extremist groups will be venting their rage not just on the US but also Britain, France, Germany and the West at large.

At UN headquarters in New York, meanwhile, DEBKAfile’s exclusive sources disclose that the Palestinian delegation and its leader Mahmoud Abbas, under extreme pressure to back away from their application for UN recognition, have informed Lebanese President Michel Suleiman who presides over the UN Security Council session Friday that their application will be filed on that day as planned. However, they will not insist on having it debated at once or put to vote.

Our sources report that this is the first crack in the Palestinian determination to go through with their UN initiative against all odds.

A western source in New York told DEBKAfile that the Palestinians have begun to finally wake up to the virtual impossibility of their motion being carried by the Security Council.

Straight after the Obama speech, US diplomacy threw all its resources into persuading every Security Council member to oppose or at least abstain from endorsing the Palestinian motion.

As of now, Nigeria, Gabon, India and Bosnia have agreed to consider withholding their support.

The key points President Obama highlighted in his address to the opening of the UN General Assembly Wednesday, Sept. 21 were:

– There are no short cuts to peace. It can only be achieved through negotiations – not statements and resolutions at the United Nations.

– Ultimately it is up to Israel and the Palestinians to agree on borders, security, refugees, Jerusalem.

– I also believe a genuine peace can be attained only between the Palestinians and Israelis themselves.

– The Palestinians deserve a territorial base for their state. (Ed: The 1967 borders were not mentioned.)

– But they must acknowledge the very real security concerns Israel faces every day.

– Israel is surrounded by neighbors who have repeatedly waged war against it.

Its people are killed by missiles on its borders and suicide bombers.

Other children are taught to hate them and far bigger nations want to wipe them off the map.

– They deserve a historical state in their historical land just as the Palestinians deserve a stated for which they have waited too long.

– Peace depends on compromise. Each side has legitimate aspirations and both must learn to stand in the other’s shoes.

The US president stressed that the US is unshakably committed to Israel’s security.
Ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Obama stressed peace cannot be imposed on the parties and a UN resolution will not bring the Palestinians a state.

Evidently heedless of American attempts to engineer a thaw in Turkish- Israeli relations, Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey used his appearance before the UN General Assembly on Thursday to enumerate a long list of grievances with

Israel.

Representatives of the Quartet were still trying to reach an agreement on a statement about moving peace negotiations forward, intended to counterbalance the proposal for UN membership that PA President Abbas has vowed to present. The Americans and Europeans, close to an agreement, may issue a statement by themselves.

Isolated clashes erupt on the West Bank and Jerusalem Friday, Sept. 23 in the tense run-up to Palestinian Chairman Mahmoud Abbas taking the stand at the UN to bid for Palestinian membership of the world body, followed by an address by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. After a car overturned killing two Israelis near Hebron – apparently due to a road accident – Palestinians report a man was killed in a clash with Israel soldiers who were breaking up a disturbance at Qasra, near Nablus.

A mass rally is scheduled to take place Friday night in Ramallah, the seat of the Palestinian Authority administration, to celebrate their application for statehood.

The day saw several rock-throwing incidents at the Jerusalem Qalandia checkpoint and arrests in Jerusalem and Temple Mount. In the early morning, police detained four Palestinians carrying pipe bombs at the Beqaot checkpoint.

Israeli police and soldiers are on high alert for major disturbances, equipped with crowd dispersal equipment.

Zechariah 14:1,2 – Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. The Jews will not be cut off from the city forever in that they will return 3 & ½ years later. A remnant of 1/3 of the Jews will flee to the Negev Wilderness and will be “left therein” Israel for 1260 days (3 & ½ Prophetic Years). God shall protect them in the Negev during that time by a truce. God will then fight for them at Armageddon, and return them triumphantly to Jerusalem. God will lead Israel to drive all the way to the Euphrates to claim the land he promised to Abraham through Isaac and Jacob.

Erdogan’s victory lap: Turkish domestic politics after the uprisings

As Cairo’s citizens drove along the Autostrad [last] week, they were greeted with four enormous billboards featuring pictures of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. With Turkish and Egyptian flags, the signs bore the message, “With United Hands for the Future.” Erdogan’s visit marks a bold development in Turkey’s leadership in the region. The hero’s welcome he received at the airport reinforced the popular perception: Turkey is a positive force, uniquely positioned to guide the Middle East’s ongoing transformation.

By many measures, Erdogan’s Turkey appears to have much to offer Egypt (and Tunisia and Libya, which he visited later in the week). His Justice and Development Party (AKP) is deeply attractive to both Islamist and liberal Arabs. For Islamists, it provides a lesson on how to overcome barriers to political participation and remake a once-hostile public arena.

For liberals, it demonstrates that even a party of religion can embrace and advance liberal principles.

The AKP thus resolves one of the Muslim world’s central political problems: Citizens are too often forced to choose between the authoritarianism

of prevailing regimes and the potential theocracy of Islamists that might replace them.

Egyptian, Tunisian, or Libyan versions of the AKP could give citizens a way to overcome the second half of this dilemma. To be sure, Egypt’ s Mu

slim Brotherhood was initially wary of the AKP, regarding it as too liberal and nationalist. But it warmed up to the party after Erdogan called on former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave office — and did so much earlier than most other leaders.

Now, some of the Brotherhood’s offshoots — for example the Egyptian Current Party, which is made up of activists in their twenties and thirties — have explicitly stated that they want to emulate AKP.

And Abdel Monem Aboul Futouh, the former Brotherhood stalwart and presidential candidate, has called himself the “Egyptian Erdogan.”

Beyond the deeply appealing worldview of its ruling party, Turkey could assist the new Middle East on a more practical level.

Washington is broke, distracted with the coming presidential campaign, and overloaded with crises and potential crises. Europe is as burdened with debt as the United States and has been unable to shape events in the region since Paris and London abandoned their colonies and protectorates there in the 1960s and early 1970s.

But Turkey, with its rapid economic growth and entrepreneurial spirit, could provide Egyptians, Tunisians, and Libyans what they want and need the most — investment. The Persian Gulf states have committed billions to Egypt, but only a small amount has made its way to the Ministry of Finance. Moreover, Egyptians are wary of the “soft conditionality” of Saudi, Qatari, and Emirati aid. Turks are presumed to invest for profit alone.

Palestinian officials on Wednesday signaled a willingness to delay a UN Security Council vote on their bid for statehood by “several months,” as President Obama publicly rejected their plans. Under a deal still being thrashed out on Wednesday, PA President Abbas would still launch his bid for full UN membership on Friday, but would not seek to expedite a debate at the Security Council, where the U.S. has threatened to wield its veto.

“The important thing for us is to submit our application as planned,” a senior Palestinian official said. “After that, we are prepared to be reasonable. We understand that things can take time. If the process is going to take some months, we are happy to let things take their course.” Palestinian officials said they were unlikely to raise objections to a compromise being advanced by the Middle East Quartet that would postpone the debate but grant the PA enhanced observer status. The Perils of the Palestinians’ Big Moment at the UN

A UN resolution endorsing maximalist Palestinian positions on the core issues, such as on borders and refugees, could close the door on negotiations for a long time. The Palestinians will find it hard to compromise on such internationally endorsed positions and Israelis will find it hard to negotiate under one-sided terms of reference which predetermine the final agreement.

Once the international community recognizes Palestinian statehood, UN-affiliated bodies such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) can decide it has jurisdiction over the Palestinian request, filed in 2009, to investigate Israeli “war crimes.” This will open the door to countless attempts to bring politically motivated charges against Israel. Such legal confrontations will provide a constant distraction from the attempt to restart the peace process. Palestinians Refused Statehood in the Past Because It’s Not Their Real Goal

Were Palestinian statehood Abbas’ real goal, he could have delivered it to his people three years ago. In 2008, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert proposed the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state on territory equal (after land swaps) to 100% of the West B ank

and Gaza, with free passage between the two plus a capital in the Arab section of Jerusalem. Yet Abbas turned down the Israeli offer. And he has refused ever since even to engage in negotiations.

For the better part of a century, Arab leaders of Palestine have consistently said no when presented with the chance to build a state of their own – in 1937, 1947, 1967 and 2000. There is no shortage of stateless peoples yearning for a homeland – Kurds or Tamils or Tibetans – whose longstanding quests for a nation-state the world ignores. They must be baffled by the Palestinians’ refusal to take yes for an answer. (Boston Globe)

Sikkim quake: Death toll rises to 112, 400 tourists stranded

Twenty more bodies were recovered in quake-hit Sikkim taking the toll in Sunday’s powerful 6.8 magnitude temblor to 112 amid reports that 400 foreign tourists were stranded in the worst-affected north district.

The toll is likely to go up further with rescue teams still to reach about 15 villages in the north district.

While the toll rose from 53 to 73 in Sikkim, West Bengal has reported 12 deaths, Bihar 9, Nepal 11 and Tibet 7.

Officials said rescue teams found six bodies in East Sikkim and 14 in North as they managed to enter Dzongu from Mangan, the headquarters of North Sikkim where the strong quake was epicentred.

About 400 foreign tourists were stranded in North Sikkim and efforts were underway to reach them, a Union Home Ministry official said.

Defence forces struggled hard to clear mud, rocks and boulders blocking roads to reach the affected areas.
