Tabernacles with Man – Number 4

“The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:7)

God has been ‘tabernacling’ in different ways with nations and individual men and women since man’s initial rebellion against God’s will in the Garden of Eden.

God has done it through the promise of the Seed, the arrival of the Seed, the resurrection of the Seed, the return of the Seed as the Comforter, and God shall continue to do it at the Second Advent of the Seed.

John 14:18 – I will not

leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Galatians 3:16,17 – Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Chr

ist. [17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

God fellowshipped with man after the fall at altars, then in a tabernacle, and afterwards in a temple in Jerusalem. The Feast of Tabernacles was one of the three main Feasts of Israel where all males, above a certain age, were commanded to come to Jerusalem’ s Temple to wor

ship the God of Israel. The disciples, and their Messiah, always obeyed this ordinance given by God.

When Jesus came, he came as the living seed promised in Genesis 3:15, which came through Seth, Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and King David.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 22:18,19 – And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

because thou hast obeyed my voice. [19] So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

Genesis 26:4-6 – And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; [5] Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. [6] And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:

Genesis 28:14-16 – And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. [8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Matthew 1:23 – Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Luke 1:30-35 – And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

The Spirit of the Seed dwelt in the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle, which was a tent. The Spirit of the Seed dwelt in the Temple, which was made of stone. And the Spirit of the Seed, in whom was all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, tabernacled among men in a Temple of sinless flesh and blood. The word translated as “DWELT” in John 1:14 is a Greek word used for “tabernacle” or for “tent.”

Colossians 2:9 – For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

John 1:14 – And the Word was made flesh, and DWELT among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:1,2 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:10,11 – He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. [11] He came unto his own, and

his own received him not.

John 10:23-31 – And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. [24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

[25] Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. [26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. Although his own people, the nation of Israel, rejected him, and he in turn rejected them, he will soon return again to raise up the tabernacle as it once stood at Shiloh, and will receive them as they receive him as the one who is to set eternally on David’s throne.

Matthew 23:38,39 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. [39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Amos 9:11 – In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

Luke 1:32 – He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Isaiah 9:6,7 – For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [7] Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

One of the major tenants of a correct analysis is to know your enemy.

The Fort Hood shooter, the Christmas Day bomber, the Times Square attacker. On May 13, the following exchange occurred at a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee:

Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas: Do you feel that these individuals might have been incited to take the actions that they did because of radical Islam?

Attorney General Eric Holder: There are a variety of reasons why I think people have taken these actions. …

Holder: There are a variety of reasons why people do these things. Some of them are potentially religious-based.

Potentially, mind you. This went on until the questioner gave up in exasperation.

A similar question arose recently in U.S. District Court when Faisal Shahzad, the Times Square attacker, pleaded guilty. Explained Shahzad: “One has to understand where I’m coming from … I consider myself a mujahid, a Muslim soldier.”

Well, that is clarifying.

As was the self-printed business card of Maj.

Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, identifying himself as SoA: Soldier of Allah.

Holder’s avoidance of the obvious continues the absurd and embarrassing refusal of the Obama administration to acknowledge who out there is trying to kill Americans and why.

In fact, it has banned from its official vocabulary the terms jihadist, Islamist and Islamic terrorism.

Instead, President Obama’s National Security Strategy insists on calling the enemy — how else do you define those seeking your destruction? — “a loose network of violent extremists.”

But this is utterly meaningless. This is not an anger-management therapy group gone rogue. These are people professing a powerful ideology rooted in a radical interpretation of Islam, in whose name they propagandize, proselytize, terrorize and kill.

Why is this importan

t? Because the first rule of war is to know your enemy.

If you don’t, you wander into intellectual cul-de-sacs and ignore the real causes that might allow you to prevent recurrences.

The Pentagon report on the Fort Hood shooter runs 86 pages with not a single mention of Hasan’s Islamism. It contains such politically correct inanities as “religious fundamentalism alone is not a risk factor.”

Of course it is. Indeed, Islamist fundamentalism is not only a risk factor.

It is the risk factor, the common denominator linking all the great terror attacks of this century — from 9/11 to Mumbai, from Fort Hood to Times Square, from London to Madrid to Bali. The attackers were of various national origin, occupation, age, social class, native tongue and race. The one thing that united them was the jihadist vision in whose name they acted.

God Tabernacles with Man – Number 3

In the O.T. God’s presence was known in the cloud that was associated with the tabernacle. The Hebrew word for “tabernacle” is OHEL, which literally means “tent.” God “tabernacled” with Israel from the body of a cloud.

Numbers 9:15-23 – And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. [16] So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. [17] And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. [18] At the commandment of the Lord the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. [19] And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord, and journeyed not. [20] And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the Lord they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the

Lord they journeyed. [21] And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

[22] Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. [23] At the commandment of the Lord they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the Lord they journeyed: they kept the charge of the Lord, at the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

The cloud under which Israel rested was a life sustaining shelter, which protected them, and under which passage was granted to them as they fled from Egypt’s Pharaoh through the Red Sea. The tabernacle was then given to them with ordinances that pictured their coming Messiah, who followed them, giving them spiritual drink in the promise of his coming, The Messianic seed promise was always in Christ, the Anointed One, even from Genesis 3:15, but many of the Israelites did not drink of God’s water by spiritually believing in his promise he would send a seed through Jacob, and were overthrown by worldly lust in the wilderness.

I Corinthians 10:1-6 – Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; [2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; [3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat; [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

[5] But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. [6] Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

And when Messiah finally came in the person of Jesus Christ, he came as God dwelling in a tabernacle of sinless human flesh. In Christ, the Anointed One dwelt all

the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

God was in Christ Jesus for the purpose of reconciling man to himself.

Jesus’ sinless body was the temple of the living God.

Colossians 2:9 – For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

II Corinthians 5:18-21 – And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

[20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you

by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. [21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

(Our completed righteousness is in Jesus and we sit in God in heavenly places in Christ.)

Turkey’s Islamic Revolution Paid for by Wealthy Islamists

Turkey has changed.

Gone permanently is secular Turkey, a unique Muslim country that straddled East and West and that even maintained a cooperative relationship with Israel. Today Turkey is an Islamic republic whose government saw fit to facilitate the May 31 flotilla raid on Israel’s blockade of Gaza.

Turkey is now more aligned to Iran than to the democracies of Europe.

Outside of public view, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Abdullah Gul, now his foreign minister, presided over an influx of so-called Green Money – capital from Saudi Arabia and the oil-rich Persian Gulf emirates, much of which ended up in AKP party coffers rather than in the public treasury.

Between 2002 and 2003, money appeared in Turkey’s financial system for which government reporting cannot account – an amount that increased from approximately $200 million to more than $4 billion. By 2006, Turkish economists estimated the Green Money infusion into the Turkish economy to be between $6 billion and $12 billion. Some Turkish intelligence officials privately suggest that Qatar is today the source of most subsidies for the AKP and its projects. Thus, Turkey’s Islamic revolution was bought and paid for by wealthy Islamists.

Erdogan equated degrees issued by Turkish madrassas – Islamic religious schools – with ordinary high school degrees. This bureaucratic sleight of hand enabled madrassa students to enter the university and qualify for government jobs without ever mastering or, in some cases, even being exposed to Western fundamentals. When such students still fumbled university entrance exams, the AKP provided

them with a comparative bonus on their scores, justifying the move as affirmative action.

Turkey threatens to cut ties with Israel

Israel tells Turkey it won’t apologise for defending its citizens following deadly raid on aid convoy to Gaza.

JERUSALEM – Israel will never say sorry for defending itself, a senior government official s aid on Monday after Turkey demanded an apology for a deadly commando r

aid on an aid convoy to Gaza.

“Israel will never apologise for defending its citizens,” the official said.

“Of course, we regret the loss of life but it was not the Israeli side that initiated the violence.”

His remarks were made after Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu vowed Ankara would sever diplomatic ties with Israel unless it apologised over the operation which left nine people dead, all of them Turkish nationals.

But Israeli officials reacted angrily to Turkey’s threats.

“When you want an apology, you don’t use threats or ultimatums,” foreign ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said.

“Everything leads us to believe that Turkey has another agenda in mind,” he said, without giving further details.

Davutoglu was quoted as telling Turkey’s Hurriyet newspaper that “relations will be broken” unless Israel apologises for the May 31 attack or admits the raid was unjust.

The minister also said Turkey had closed its airspace to all Israeli military flights in reaction to the raid.

The O.T. Hebrew word for “tabernacle” or “tent” is OHEL. The N.T. Greek word for “tabernacle” or “tent” is SKENOO. The word SKENOO is translated “dwelt” in John 1:14. God pitched himself in the tent body of his only begotten Son, and lived among us, ministering to mankind as the Messiah for more than three years.

John 1:6-14 – There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

[7] The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

[8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. [9] That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. [11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,

nor of the will of man, but of God.

Messiah will soon come again, and will pitch himself as a protective tabernacle over believing Israelites, shielding them from any earthy thing or element that is harmful.

Isaiah 4:6 – And there shall be

a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

In Tabernacle Relationship Number 1, an exposition of numerous Scriptures was given regarding the events that must occur before Isaiah 4:6 will be fulfilled during the millennial reign of Messiah. Please review Number 1 before continuing with Number 2. The terrible prophecy of Zechariah 13:8 will come upon Israel prior to the return of Messiah, and only one-third of its population, or about 2 million Jews, will still be alive after the horrific pre-Messiah event outlined in Number 1.

But, in Zechariah 13:9, we are advised that the one-third will be protected by God, and that when the Messiah does come at his Second Advent, he will pitch the tabernacle of his bodily presence among them.

Zechariah 13:8,9 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. [9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

The fantastic loss of male lives, during the fulfillment of the prophecy of Zechariah 13:8, will have created a situation, in the early stages of the millennial reign, such that males will exceed the proportion of females by a seven to one ratio. A major thrust of Israel will be to repopulate Abraham’s land grant they have received from Messiah, and women will feel their role to God is to have children to meet that need.

But, during the millennium, a man can only have one wife, so women will be very anxious to marry, and the supply of men will be limited.

Many men will die in the war, Jerusalem will fall, and even after it is retaken when Messiah returns, its gates will mourn those

men who will never again pass through them.

Isaiah 3:25 to 4:3 – Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. [26] And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. [1] And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

[2] In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. [3] And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Zechariah vividly describes Jerusalem rejoicing during the millennial reign of God pitching his bodily tent as Messiah among

them, as do many of the other prophets.

Zechariah 14:8,9 – And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and

in winter shall it be. [9] And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Zechariah 14:11 – And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

Isaiah 66:13,14 – As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. [14] And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Zechariah 14:16 – And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Micah 4:1-3 – But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

[2] And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. [3] And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: n ation sh

a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
