EVERLASTING Revelation Gospel!

Revelation 14:6 – And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the EVERLASTING gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Here we are in Chapter 14, a parenthetical chapter in the Revelation, and John sees a heavenly messenger fly in the midst of Heaven, with the everlasting gospel to preach unto earth’s tribulation period inhabitants.

The word translated “EVERLASTING” is “aionios.” It is an adjective – A word that describes the properties, characteristics, and qualities of the gospel – time in its duration that is constant, abiding, forever, denoting not belonging to what is transitory. It does not mean the gospel will be preached eternally – It means the results of receiving it are eternal, everlasting, forever. As an adjective, it describes the character of the noun, which is the “gospel.” When one believes, receives, accepts the gospel, he or she receives the EVERLASTING benefits of its character, having been passed from under the condemnation of God EVERLASTINGLY, as well as being EVERLASTINGLY passed from spiritual death to ETERNAL SPIRITUAL life.

John 5:24 – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The character of God is EVERLASTING as is his Son’s character. The character of God continues in all of his children EVERLASTINGLY.

John 12:50 – And I know that his commandment is life EVERLASTING: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

The EVERLASTING gospel did not begin in the New Testament. It came into existence before the foundation of the world.

And it has always been the promise of the Seed, Christ Jesus. God knew before he ever made man that man would make the wrong choice, and thereby need a Savior.

Ephesians 1:3,4 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

The first application of the promise of the Seed is found in the Garden of Eden, immediately after Adam and Eve disobeyed God.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The EVERLASTING gospel is the good news promise of God made here in simplistic Old Testament format.

It did not begin in the New Testament. It came into existence by name, and as the “better” covenant or promise with the arrival, the ministry, the sacrifice, the death, and the resurrection of the Old Testament Lamb Seed of God, the man Christ Jesus. The gospel has always had the true characteristic of EVERLASTING because it has always been an unconditional covenant. However, the extent of the good news, that it was totally by the grace of God in his promised seed, was not able to be completely understood until the Seed had totally fulfilled every jot and tittle of its requirements for all who would receive him as the full atonement for all their sins – That is why it is good news and why it is a “better” covenant – because now the believer is able to understand that Christ fulfilled it for him, and that the salvation in the covenant is totally by the grace that was, and is, in God’s promised Seed.

The unconditional covenant of God’s Seed promise was announced immediately after Adam and Eve had sinned and broken their spiritual union with God – They both DIED SPIRITUALLY.

God immediately promised he would send a Seed to crush the power of the Devil’s hold on their souls by stepping on his head, but advised that the Seed’s own body would be bruised in so doing.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

When Cain arrived they naturally thought God meant their first seed would fulfill verse 15, but when he rose up and slew the second seed, Abel, they knew neither of them was the promised one from God.

Genesis 4:1-3 – And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. [2] And she again bare his brother Abel.

So they waited for the third seed, still thinking he might be the one promised of God.

But after Seth came a new problem arose – Seth had a son, Enos.

So was Seth or Enos the promised Seed? It began to dawn on them that the promised Seed might be a distant descendant of Seth.

They did the only thing they could do by faith. They began to trust in the Lord that he would one day send the Seed he promised and, while they waited, the ones who believed God’s promise began to call on the name of the Lord.

Genesis 4:25,26 – And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another SEED instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

[26] And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: THEN began men to call upon the name of the Lord.

And believers have been doing that ever since by faith in the promise of God.

Romans 10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:13 – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It is a better covenant because now we know the name of the Seed upon whom we are to call, and we know how he died for all our sins, and lives in heaven as the only intercessor

for those sins.

Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Hebrews 10:4-18 – For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. [5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: [6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin

thou hast had no pleasure. [7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; [13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. [14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. [15] Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, [16] This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; [17] And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [18] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

The characteristic of the promise is EVERLASTING life in the promised Seed, who gave those who call on his name the characteristic of his life. And the very character of his life is EVERLASTING. Those who do come to him honor him because they believe his words. Those who don’t come do not believe him and dishonor

him.

John 5:39-41 – Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. [40] And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. [41] I receive not honour from men.

John 5:21-23 – For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. [22] For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: [23] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.

He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Daniel 11:45 is just before the final battle of Armageddon, and Daniel 12;1 is the battle of Armageddon with the horrifying geological and meteorological events that accompany it worldwide.

Daniel 11:45 to 12:1 – And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. [1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Eleven US warships, one Israeli vessel transit Suez Canal to Persian Gulf

An armada of 11 US warships and one Israeli vessel passed through the Suez Canal Friday June 18 on their o the Red Sea and Persian Gulf, DEBKAfile reports exclusively from its military sources.

The fleet, the first of this composition to navigate the Suez Canal, is led by the USS Harry Truman carrier and its Strike Group of 60 fighter-bombers and 6,000 seamen and marines.

Egyptian port authorities imposed exceptional security measures for the ships’ passage. All commercial and civilian traffic through the Suez Canal was halted and beefed-up security forces posted along both its shores.

Egyptian fishermen were recalled to port from their grounds in the Bitter Lake.

The massive movement of this large US naval-air force plus an Israeli contingent is a strong new factor in the continually rising Middle East tensions of the last two weeks, to which Iran has not so far responded.

A letter declaring Israel’s intent to stop a new flotilla of ships being organized in Lebanon to break the naval blockade of Gaza was sent to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday by the Israeli ambassador to the UN, Gabriela Shalev.

“We will stop the Lebanese flotilla with all means,” Shalev wrote.

Shalev also called the the new flotilla an unnecessary provocation and reiterated that Israel continued to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza at the land crossings from Israel into the Strip.

IHH head calls for violence, “martyrdom” in new ‘Marmara’ footage.

New footage from the Mavi Marmara was released by the Foreign Ministry on Friday afternoon, th is

time showing IHH head Bülent Yildirim inciting to violence against Israeli commandos hours before the encounter that claimed the lives of nine Turkish passengers.

“We follow in the footsteps of the martyrs,” Yildirim could be seen declaring to a large crowd of activists.

“You shall see, we will definitely claim one or two victories.”

Yildirim went on to urge the ship’s passengers not to turn back as other flotillas had done, but rather to resist the attempt to divert the ship. “We don’t want to be recorded in Allah’s book as cowards,” he said in Turkish and Arabic.

An Egyptian parliamentarian who was also present led the activists in the room in a chant, “Martyrs marching into Gaza by the millions.”

Yildirim then threatened, “If you send the commandos, we will throw you down from here and you will be humiliated in front of the whole world.” He added, “If they board our ship, we will throw them into the sea, Allah willing!”

He later called Israel “weak,” saying it resorted to propaganda to combat the activists’ determination to reach Gaza. “We thought [Israel] considered itself a state,” he could be heard saying. “It’s not a state.”

World welcomes move; Barak warns Lebanon: Don’t send ships

Government spokesmen struggled Thursday to keep the security cabinet’s decision to ease up on the land blockade of Gaza from looking like an Israeli capitulation, saying the process of relaxing restrictions on Gaza had started months ago. World leaders from the US and the EU welcomed the move.

But even as the security cabinet eased up on what would be allowed into Gaza through the land crossings, it reiterated that the naval blockade would remain in place, with Defense Minister Ehud Barak warning Beirut about boats that will reportedly set sail for Gaza from Lebanon.

“I am saying clearly to the Lebanese government,” Barak said in a statement, “you are responsible for vessels leaving your ports with the clear intention of trying to block the naval blockade of Gaza.”

Barak, reflecting serious concern about the boats that Israel has linked to Hizbullah activists, said Lebanon had a responsibility to prevent the boats from being loaded with arms and ammunition, “which could lead to a violent and dangerous confrontation in the event that the boat refuses to come to Ashdod.”

The security cabinet, which met Thursday for the second time in two days to discuss relaxing the restrictions on Gaza, issued a statement saying it agreed to “liberalize the system by which civilian goods enter Gaza; expand the inflow of materials for civilian projects that are under international supervision; [and] continue existing security procedures to prevent the inflow of weapons and war materiel.”

A statement issued after the meeting said the cabinet would decide in the “coming days on additional steps to implement this policy.”

Among the steps expected to be enacted are drawing up a list of goods that are prohibited because of security concerns – rather than the current situation in which only goods on a permitted list are allowed in – and developing a mechanism to ensure that dual-use material is allowed into Gaza only for earmarked projects under the auspices of the UN, the Quartet or recognized international organization.

According to Barak, the intention of the decision is to allow more goods into Gaza, but always only after an Israeli search of the cargo to ensure that it does not include “weapons, ammunition or materiel that can aid in fighting.”

Women are the ‘secret weapon’

Organizer of flotilla: “thieving enemy” won’t use arms against women.

Samar Alhaj, the woman leading the Hizbullah-linked Lebanese boat that is scheduled to try to block the naval blockade on Gaza, said in an interview with a regional Israeli Arabic- language radio station in Nazareth that women were “the new secret weapon” in use against the “thieving enemy.”

Asked on Radio A-Shams by Zohair Bahloul why the ship, Mariam, would only be carrying women, she said, “We are women in order not to give the thieving enemy an excuse to use arms against the ship.” She said the ship would be carrying cancer medication for children, and women suffering from breast cancer and cancer of the uterus due to “chemical bombs” dropped on Gaza by Israel.

Alhaj is the wife of an officer in the Lebanese security service who was jailed for four years for alleged involvement in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Alhaj and her husband met with Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah on May 22.

Speaking of Israel, she said, “the entity that was not defeated will be defeated by women that will come on the boat. Our weapon is cancer medication.

We don’t have scud missiles or any other missiles, and you will see what they will do to us.”

Alhaj said that the boat will have some 50 women, “more Christians than Muslims,” and will be coming from Lebanon, the US, France, Britain, Japan, Kuwait and Egypt.

Bahloul, who said it was a great honor to talk to such an “impressive woman,” ended the interview by saying “Allah should watch over you and grant you success.”

Meanwhile, Yasser Kashlak, a Syrian businessman of Palestinian descent who heads the “Free Palestine Organization” and is funding this boat, as well as another that is to carry journalists and parliamentarians, said over the weekend on Hizbullah’s al-Manar television station that he was more and more optimistic that one day these same boats would take “Europe’s refuse [the Jews] that came to my homeland back to their homelands.

“Gilad Schalit should go back to Paris and those murderers go back to Poland, and after that we will chase them until the ends of the earth to bring them to justice for their acts of slaughter from Deir Yassin until today.” Kashlak, a fervent Hizbullah supporter, called Israel a “rabid dog sent to the region to frighten the Arabs. He said he had a message for Israelis: ‘Get on the ships we are sending you and go back to your lands.

Don’t let the moderate Arab leaders delude you, [you] cannot make peace with us.

Our children will return to Palestine, you have no reason for coexistence.

Even if our leaders will sign a peace agreement, we will not sign.’” He said the boat carrying journalists and parliamentarians will carry 12 former American diplomats as well..

“Israeli threats against women activists and journalists who are organizing new flotillas serve as proof of the immense fear the Zionists are living in,” Hezbollah’s Executive Council Chief Hashem Safieddine said Saturday.

Speaking at an event marking the opening of Hezbollah summer camps in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Safieddine said Israel “is terrified by a boat carrying women who want to deliver aid to Gaza. How will this Israel be able to face the rockets and the resistance bloc in the next confrontation? This is the Zionist entity in its current state and its deteriorating ability.

“On the other hand, the military strength of the resistance is growing, while Israel’s is decreasing,” said the Hezbollah figure.

Israel’s UN envoy has warned the world body that the Jewish state is entitled to use “all necessary force” to prevent the activists from reaching Gaza.

In a letter to Secretary General Ban Ki-moon quoted by Israeli radio stations and Internet news sites on Saturday, Ambassador Gabriela Shalev said Israel suspected that organizers might be linked to Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

“Israel reserves its right under international law to use all necessary means to prevent these ships from violating the existing naval blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip,” she said in the letter.

“It appears that a small number of ships plan to depart from Lebanon and sail to the Gaza Strip which is under the control of the Hamas terrorist regime,” she added.

“While those who organize this action claim that they wish to break the blockade on Gaza and to bring humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, the true nature of the actions remains dubious.”

A group of dozens of Lebanese women activists is planning to set sail for Gaza on a ship loaded with medical supplies in a new bid to break Israel’s four-year blockade of the Palestinian territory.

The women have not yet announced a departure date but on Thursday they gathered near a shrine to the Virgin Mary in south Lebanon to pray she bless their vessel, christened “Mariam” in her honor.

“The participants are committed to making progress and our only weapons are faith in the Virgin Mary and in humanity,” spokeswoman Rima Farah told AFP.

The women deny Hezbollah involvement in their planned trip and

the terror group itself said on Friday that it was not backing the voyage of the Mariam, because it did not want to give Israel a pretext to attack the activists.

However, Kuwaiti daily al-Siyassah reported that famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe’s request to join the vessel has been vetoed by Hezbollah on the grounds that her “nudity, degradation and immodest dress” would damage the reputations of all the Arab and European women on board.

Preparations are also underway by other pro-Palestinian activists to send an aid ship carrying educational supplies and journalists from Lebanon to Gaza. Isr ael fought

a deadly war with Hezbollah in the summer of 2006. The battles destroyed much of Lebanon’s infrastructure and killed more than 1,200 Lebanese and 160 Israelis, mainly soldiers.

Pro-Palestinian activists in Jordan have announced their decision to purchase a boat and take part in one of the planned sails to Gaza.

I consider Caroline Glick not only to be a very attractive woman, but also the best analyst on this planet when it comes to the Middle East situation.

PLEASE READ HER ARTICLE – IT IS THE STRAIGHT SKINNY!

In 2007 I went out on a limb, and predicted the final Middle East war of this age would break out between 2010 and 2015, and with each passing year I am happier that I did. I analyzed a wide variety of worldwide political, military, geological, and meteorological events that had transpired between 2002 and 2007, and applied them to what biblical prophecy said would occur before the final Middle East war of the Age of the Gentiles. What I have observed since 2007 has cemented my analysis the final war will begin at some point in time during the period 2010 to 2015. After the war begins, some three and one-half years later, the fullness (completion) of the Gentile Age will come in, and Israel will be restored to a greatness she has never known by her God at the Second Advent of her Messiah at Armageddon.

Romans 11:25-27 – For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Israel is endangered today as it has never been before.

Israel is endangered today as it has never been before. The Turkish-Hamas flotilla two weeks ago precipitated a number of dangerous developments. Rather than attend to all of them, Israel’s leadership is devoting itself almost exclusively to contending with the least dangerous among them while ignoring the emerging threats with the potential to lead us to great calamities.

Since the Navy’s lethal takeover of the Mavi Marmara, Israel has been stood before an international diplomatic firing squad led by the UN and Europe and supported by the Obama administration. Firmly backed by European and largely unopposed by Washington, the UN is moving swiftly towards setting up a new Goldstone- style anti-Israel kangaroo court. That canned tribunal will rule that Israel has no right to defend itself and attempt to force Israel to end its lawful naval blockade of Hamas-controlled Gaza.

Fearing this outcome, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu bowed to US President Barack Obama’s demand that Israel set up an Israeli inquest of the Mavi Marmara takeover and permit foreigners to oversee its proceedings.

Netanyahu also agreed to scale back Israel’s blockade significantly, and allow international bodies to have a role in its far more lax enforcement.

Netanyahu has made these concessions with the full knowledge that they will strengthen Hamas in the hopes that they would weaken the international onslaught against Israel.

Unfortunately, it took no time at all

to see that his hopes were misplaced. Even before Netanyahu announced these concessions, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon already announced that they make no difference to him or to his friends in Washington and Brussels.

They will move ahead with their plans to appoint a new kangaroo court charged with asserting that Israel has no right to defend itself.

AS BAD as all of this is, in truth, it is unimportant relative to the other consequences of the flotilla incident.

The impact of the diplomatic campaign now being waged against Israel will be felt in the medium and long term. In the immediate term, Israel is facing two threats that dwarf what it faces from the UN.

Recent statements by the leaders of Iran, Turkey, Syria, Hamas and Hizbullah make clear that the members of the Iranian axis view the Mavi Marmara episode as a strategic victory in their ongoing campaign against Israel. The international stampede against Israel at the UN, the White House and throughout Europe exposed Israel’s Achilles heel. The Mavi Marmara demonstrated that on the one hand the IDF cannot enforce its blockade of Gaza without the use of force. On the other hands it taught Israel’s enemies that by forcing Israel to use force, Iran, Turkey and their allies incited a UN-EU-US lynch mob against Israel.

Iran, Turkey, Syria, Hamas and Hizbullah are moving rapidly to exploit their new discovery.

In the very near future, Israel will face off against Iranian, Lebanese and Turkish ships complemented by ships full of Israel-hating German Jews and other Jewish and non-Jewish Hamas supporters.

The Mavi Marmara showed Iran and its allies that they can win strategic victories against Israel by giving the IDF no option other than using force against them. This means that Israel can bank on the prospect that all the ships they are dispatching will be populated by suicide protesters. Indeed the Iranians have openly admitted this. Mohammad Ali Nouraee is one of the regime officials involved in dispatching the Iranian ships to the Gaza coast. In an interview this week with Iran’s official IRNA news agency, Nouraee said that the passengers aboard the ships “are willing to become martyred in this way.”

The Lebanese ships are being organized by Hizbullah-affiliated individuals and the Turkish ships are being organized by the IHH terror group that organized the Mavi Marmara.

Hizbullah’s penchant for dispatching suicide squads is of course well known. And the IHH showed its devotion to suicide protests on the Mavi Marmara. So it is fairly clear that the passengers aboard the ships from both countries intend to force the IDF to kill them.

The intensification of the suicide protest campaign against Israel is dangerous for two reasons.

First, it is a model that can be and in all likelihood will be replicated on air and land and it can be replicated anywhere. Israel can and should expect mobs of suicide protesters marching on Gaza to force Israel to surrender control over its borders. Israel can expect mobs of suicide protesters marching on Israeli embassies and other government installations around the world in an attempt to increase its diplomatic isolation.

In the air, Israel can expect charter flights to take off from airports around the world with a few dozen kamikaze protesters who will force the IAF to shoot them down as they approach Israeli airspace.

Iran and its allies have found a weak chink in Israel’s armor. They will use it any way they can.

Israel needs to quickly develop tactics and strategies for contending with this.

THE SECOND and far more dangerous implication of Israel’s enemies’ aggressive adoption of suicide protests is that by ensuring violence will be used, they increase the chances of war.

Indeed, Iran and its allies clearly believe that suicide protests are a vehicle for initiating a fullscale war against Israel on what they view as favorable footing. According to Bahrain’s Al Wasat press service, Hussain Amir, Iran’s ambassador to Bahrain, threatened this week that, “If the [Zionist] entity dares to direct any aggressive attack [against the Iranian ships], then it is certain that [Israel] will be met by a much stronger and firm blow.”

Syrian President Bashar Assad told the BBC Wednesday that the region is moving towards war. And the Turkish government is continuing to escalate its assaults on Israel. On Thursday Turkey threatened to cut off diplomatic relations with Israel if Israel does not issue a formal apology for its takeover of the Mavi Marmara and pay restitution to the families of the terrorists killed on board the ship.

Obviously the most disturbing aspect of the war threats is the specter of Turkish naval vessels attacking the Israel Navy. If Turkey – a NATO member – participates in a war against Israel, the repercussions for Israel’s relations with NATO member states, including the US, as well as the EU, are liable to be unprecedented.

While going to war against Israel would be a major gamble for Turkey, in recent years it has not shied away from high stakes challenges to its NATO allies. Indeed, one of Turkey’s ruling AKP party’s first actions upon taking power in 2003 was to deny the US military the right to invade Iraq from its territory. The deleterious impact of Turkey’s refusal to come to the aid of its NATO ally at the time has been felt by US forces in Iraq ever since.

IN THE days and weeks to come, Israel’s political and military leaders must move resolutely to prepare to withstand these new threats that have arisen in the aftermath of the Mavi Marmara episode. To meet the expected deluge of suicide protesters on sea, land and air, Israel must immediately acquire non-lethal means to disperse these protests. This involves purchasing and producing tear gas, water cannons, rubber bullets and other non-lethal weaponry.

These non-lethal weapons must be rapidly distributed to IDF units deployed along the frontier with Gaza and to the navy. They must also be supplied to Israeli security teams tasked with protecting government installations worldwide.

Forces must undergo intense and immediate training in crowd control and mob dispersal to be ready to meet what is clearly on the way.

Diplomatically, Israel needs to hold its new line on the Gaza blockade. Netanyahu’s buckling to US-EU-UN pressure has encouraged them to redouble their assault on Israel.

The new line must be held at all costs.

Otherwise, Israel will have no diplomatic line of defense as the approaching threats become reality.

Strategically, our leaders need to consider what our aims will be in the coming war. For instance, as far as Turkey is concerned, Israel’s aim will be to end the war as quickly as possible.

Here the tools of diplomacy with NATO members and public diplomacy with the American people will be crucial to convincing Turkey to stand down. They must be aggressively and energetically utilized without delay.

From a military perspective, evasion is preferable to confrontation. This understanding must guide naval operations towards Turkish forces.

As for Iran, Israel’s aim must be to prolong the war as long as necessary to secure its strategic objective of denying Iran nuclear weapons.

Moreover, it is important to use both kinetic and non-kinetic means to change the relative power balance between the Iranian people and the

Iranian regime. While in all likelihood today the Iranian opposition green movement is unable to overthrow the regime, if Iran initiates a war against Israel, Israel must use the opportunity the war affords to change that balance of power.

Once Israel’s pol itical and mil

itary leaders determine the strategic goals of a regional war, they must move swiftly to outfit and train the IDF to fight it.

This war will certainly be different from its predecessors and Israel’s strategic goals – and the clear strategic and tactical preferences of its enemies – dictate the training that the IDF must initiate immediately.

The longer-term lesson of the Mavi Marmara incident, and the threats that emerged in its wake, is that war is too serious a subject to leave to generals. The IDF and the Defense Ministry clearly misunderstood the nature of the threat posed by the Turkish-Hamas flotilla.

Indeed, recent reports that until the Mavi Marmara Israel wasn’t even collecting intelligence on Turkey despite its obvious, multiyear transformation from ally to enemy underlines the fact that the IDF is woefully incapable of assessing, understanding and preparing for the threats Israel faces.

In light of the IDF’s failure to understand Turkey’s transformation from ally to enemy in a timely manner, its incompetent planning for the Mavi Marmara takeover and its problematic performance in both Operation Cast Lead and the Second Lebanon War, Netanyahu must create an external body empowered to assess and dictate the means for preparing for emerging threats. This body can either be a new department in the Prime Minister’s Bureau or the National Security Council can be empowered to perform this function. While this is not the most urgent matter on the national agenda, the establishment of such a body should be a central mission of the government.

The Iranian ships are already en route, and the ships from Lebanon could appear at any moment. The mass demonstrations against Israel throughout the world and the threatened violence from the Hamas-supporting Israeli Arab leadership indicate that mobs of suicide protesters could appear anywhere with no prior warning.

Time is of the essence. No, Israel does not want another Goldstone kangaroo court. But right now, kangaroo courts are not our biggest problem.

The world is headed for a major Middle East War which I am convinced will begin at some point in time prior to 2015. Once Jerusalem falls and Islamic forces drive Israel in to the Negev Wilderness, a UN Truce will be negotiated, leaving Islam in control of the land from Dan

to Beersheba, and Israel in charge from Beersheba to the Gulf of Aqaba. This status quo will remain in place for some three and one half years. During that time the Islamic countries across north Africa, the Middle East, along the south flank of the old Soviet Union south of Russia, and some Islamic countries in Southeastern Asia, will unite into a gigantic Caliphate with its capital in Cairo. Antichrist will be its Caliph, and the strongest mil

itary countries in it will be Iran, Turkey, and Syria.

All three of these countries are preparing for war. Russia, the United States, China, France, and England will revert to the same type of Cold War in the years following World War II, but will not participate directly in the hot war between Israel and the Islamic nations until the final battle of Armageddon. Antichrist will come from Cairo to Jerusalem and call for all the current occupants of countries of the old world before the new world was discovered. He will invite them to help him eternally destroy Israel in the Negev at the final battle of Armageddon.

THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MAHDI ANTICHRIST’S GREAT CALIPHATE!

After the Antichrist conquers Egypt the initial ten Islamic countries that supported him will be quickly joined by a multiplicity of Islamic nations. His great Caliphate will include Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, all the countries that make up the Saudi Arabian Peninsula, Israel north of Beersheba, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, many of the southern states of the former Soviet Union with large Arab populations, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Having gone to military schools, lived among, worked with, and trained those of the Islamic faith as a much younger man, plus being familiar with prophecy since my youth, I have not only been waiting for many years for the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, but I have also been waiting for the arrival of the 12th Imam on the scene prior to the arrival of Jesus. I have long believed the 12th Imam Mahdi will be the 11th little horn of Daniel, and the beast of John’s Revelation. His coming is the great hope of all Islam. The Iranian President is a fanatical believer of his coming, and believes Mahdi will cause universal acceptance

of Allah.

For more than three years, with the Suez Canal under his control, he will gain worldwide recognition and acclaim in his capital city of Cairo. Israel will be trapped in the Negev for more than three years (See previous blogs), and stability will have come to the troubled Middle East. He will supposedly have done what all nations say they are seeking, that is, brought stability to the Middle East. But, between the third and fourth year of his rule, something will cause him to quickly head for Jerusalem.

Daniel 11:44,45 – But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. [45] And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Please bear in mind that Daniel does not bring him out of the Egypt he has conquered until verse 44, and that he heads back for the glorious holy mountain, which is the middle hill of the three hills upon which the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem rests.

It is better known as the Mount of Moriah, where the first three temples sat, and is located between two seas, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Dead Sea. Before the mighty former Soviet Union of Joseph Stalin arose, some identified this troubling news out of the north as being about Attila the Hun, after him it was about the German Kaiser of WW1, then about Hitler of WW2, and so forth and so on.

Before the great communist revolution of Mao brought forth the present huge sleeping giant of Red China, some identified the troubling news out of the east as being about Genghis Khan, the great Mongol conqueror from the east. But modern day expositors generally now tend to make it news concerning Russia in the north and China in the east. I do not believe it is either. When Daniel wrote his book, it was written to the people of his day. So it is important to consider what they knew to be immediately to the north and to the east of Egypt. But before we discuss what was, and still is, immediately north of Egypt, and what was, and

still is, immediately east of Egypt, let me advise you why I do not believe it involves Russia or China.

Get out a world map and measure how far it is from Cairo to the borders of China and Russia. The population of Russia today is more than 150 million, and the population

of China is more than 1 billion, 300 million. Do you really think he is going to take them on? And are they not supposed to join forces with him at the final battle of Armageddon? If he were, it would be rank insanity to return to Jerusalem to take them on! And, besides all that, the land we know as China and Russia, for all practical purposes, was perhaps mentioned only in fables in Daniel’s day. Do you really think he will “go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly make away many” from two distant, vast, countries with a combined population of almost one and one-half billion

So what is immediately north of Egypt? What touches its northern border? The Mediterranean Sea!

And what land is immediately east of Egypt? What touches its eastern border? The Negev! And what could possibly be in the Mediterranean Sea that would trouble him? The U.S. Fleet! And what could possibly be in the Negev that would trouble him? Between 1.7 and 1.9 million Israelis! The U.S. Navy & Marine Corps publish periodical “TRANSITIONS” of “All the Ships at Sea.” You will find it amazing how many vessels we routinely have on scheduled patrols in the Mediterranean Sea. We keep a carrier constantly on station patrolling that section of the Mediterranean immediately south of Turkey and north of Egypt. The carriers USS Enterprise and the USS Theodore Roosevelt have often relieved each other on this permanent patrol station, along with other carriers. There is also a report issued periodically on marine units deployed on the many ships that patrol the seas of the Middle East from the Mediterranean through the Red Sea into the Indian Ocean and up into the Persian Gulf. It is simply called “All the Marines Deployed.” The U.S. Marines and IDF have been conducting joint operations in the Negev off and on for some 25 years.

So the antichrist has had Israel bottled up in the Negev for more than three years at this future point in time. I believe the news he hears is simply this: the U.S. Marines and IDF are planning to close his rear flank back to the country from which he originally came, Syria. He will have left a strip heavily fortified across Gaza and the northern Sinai, but he will begin to have reservations about the ability of his troops to hold it. He will then head back for Jerusalem to finally do what he wishes he had previously done, that is, to end the Jewish problem. He will “go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.” He will super fortify the northeast Sinai and Gaza Strip, and head northeast to Jerusalem to prepare for the destruction of Israel in the Negev.

Iranian threats over Gaza keep USS Truman carrier in Mediterranean

The USS Harry S. Truman carrier, complete with its strike group of 60 warplanes and 6,000 seamen, has been ordered to turn course from the Persian Gulf and deploy with the US Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean for the time being,

DEBKAfile’s military and Washington sources report. The administration’s decision was prompted by incoming intelligence attesting to heightened marine and military tensions between Israel, Turkey and Iran, in the wake of the Turkish premier Recep Erdogan’s determination to give his screws on Israel another turn – or two.

He was solidly backed up from Tehran Wednesday, June 16, by parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani, who threatened military retaliation against Persian Gulf and Mediterranean shipping for any interference with the vessels Iran was sending to the Gaza Strip.

He did not specify what kind they were.

In Jerusalem, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman asserted that Israel would no longer respect these vessels as promoted by aid agencies because they were obviously dispatched by outright enemies with hostile intent thinly disguised as humanitarian efforts.

Erdogan is planning more provocative sea convoys for Gaza and the severance of diplomatic relations.

Ankara has set its face implacably toward a full rupture and is determined to breach Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip by force, regardless of the relaxations on the siege restrictions ceded by Israel in consultation with Washington.

Israeli ministers met Wednesday, June 16, to approve these relaxations. The broke for lunch without a decision. Some ministers maintained Israel’s ambassador from Ankara should be recalled forthwith without waiting for the Erdogan government to break off ties.

Turkey closes airspace to Israel Air Force, Jerusalem declares IHH terrorists

Turkey launched a plan Wednesday night (June 16) to campaign on all fronts for a worldwide boycott of Israel and decided to introduce sanctions leading to the severance of bilateral relations. Its pretext was the absence of a formal apology from Jerusalem for the naval commando raid on the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara (“Blue Marmara”), which left 8 activists dead, and its rejection of an international inquiry of the incident.

In Washington, early Thursday morning (June 17), Democratic and Republican members of Congress announced at a press conference that there would be price to pay if Ankara continued its hate campaign against Israel and tight ties with Tehran.

Rep. Mike Pence, the third-highest ranking Republican, said: “There will be a cost if Turkey stays on its present heading of growing closer to Iran and more antagonistic to the state of Israel.” Democratic Rep. Eliot Engel called Turkey’s actions “disgraceful.”
DEBKAfile’s sources in Washington note that while the House and the Senate are getting ready for an active response against Turkey for its deteriorating relations with Israel, the Obama administration is standing still, possibly tied down by friendship with the two contestants in Jerusalem and Ankara. The president may also be influenced by some of his closest aides, who are sympathetic to the policies pursued by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and support his aspirations in the Middle East and in the Muslim world.

The most prominent member of the pro-Erdogan faction ion the White House is the president’s personal adviser on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, who does not share the conviction that the Turkish aid society, the IHH, is in fact a terrorist organization, as Israel declared Thursday, June 17 – although more than one European terrorist expert is of that opinion.

The way this declaration was aired by the Netanyahu government was harshly criticized by Israel’s security and intelligence sources as too hesitant and uncertain to attract notice, DEBKAfile’s sources in Jerusalem report. It was not sourced to any defense ministry official and only appeared in a low spot on a local Channel 2 TV news bulletin.

“If Israel accuses an organization of terrorism, it should do so loud and clear,” they said. “We must offer the kind of proof that reverberates strongly around the world. Instead, the information was released almost by stealth and therefore ignored by the international media.”

In fact, DEBKAfile’s intelligence and counter-terror sources stress the inconspicuous news item was pretty sensational. By listing as terrorists the IHH (Insani Yardim Vakfi), a key component of Erdogan’s pro-Islamic AKK government’s support system, Israel henceforth defines the group as a target for Israel’s covert and military operations and exposes its leaders to retaliation for continuing violence against Israel and its interests.

IHH activists were responsible for the violence aboard the Turkish ship leading the blockade-busting flotilla on May 31. Wednesday, IHH headquarters in Istanbul scheduled the launch of an even bigger flotilla for Gaza some time in July. Its new designation empowers Israel’s covert agencies and navy to go for its members and ships – at sea and in Turkish ports.

Still hesitant, Israel has started hitting back at Turkey by escalating its military and intelligence responses to Erdogan’s provocations.
The day before, the level of confrontation was ramped up by several notches in Ankara, when the Turkish Defense Industry Implementation Committee – SSIK, in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Erdogan, decided to freeze 16 security and military agreements signed with Israel.

They include permission for Israel warplanes to use Turkish airspace and apply to intelligence-sharing arrangements and cooperation in combating terrorism and suspend the longstanding, close military and intelligence cooperation between Turkey and Israel.

The two erstwhile allies are left glaring at each other as antagonists, just one step short of declared enemies.

Ankara nonetheless left a narrow opening – whether to appease the military for its loss of a valued strategic partner or to tempt Israeli leaders to continue to delude themselves that Turkey is not a write-off.

Thursday morning, in a briefing to Turkish journalists, sources close to the Turkish prime minister and the SSK exhibited a very long list of the Israeli and Turkish military projects they had cancelled, including the purchase of advanced Israeli Arrow anti-missile missiles.

However, Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul commented: “Despite the fact that the decision on the shelving of military agreements had been left to the command of the Foreign Ministry, it would not be proper for the ruling administration to decide on the actions of military companies in both countries.”

By this remark, the Turkish defense minister left a small gap for the Turkish government to review each contract separately and to decide whether to implement or revoke it depending on the needs of the Turkish army.
