Daniel 2:41-43 – And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. [42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The 10 toes will consist primarily of Terah’s descendants. Abraham came out of Terah. Out of Abraham came the leaders of the three great monotheistic faiths associated with Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. And they hav

e always been in conflict.

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended. “They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them. Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah.

It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created. The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more than have the Jews.

Daniel 2:43 – And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from w hence

he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Christ, the stone, came from the mountain representing God, without any human instrumentation, but by God’s Spirit forming his body in a virgin’s womb. Christ will return to destroy those morally destroying the earth. All of the evil that came out of the Babylonian, Medo- Persian, Macedonian, and Roman Empires will be laid waste by his Second Advent.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and

the interpretation thereof sure.

The Scriptures which follow describe the coming of the great Stone, the great Rock, coming with his kingdom.

Revelation 19:11-18 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. Hezbollah wants peace, but ready for war

Nasrallah: Israel might launch war on Lebanon but Hezbollah ready to ‘destroy’ invading Jewish army.

BEIRUT – Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah vowed on Friday that his resistance group was ready to “destroy” the Israeli army if it attacked Lebanon.

“I admit that Israel might launch a war on Lebanon and I declare that we do not want war,” he said in a televised address marking Quds (Jerusalem) Day.

“I do not know what excuse they might use for this war, but if Israel attacks us, we must turn the threat into an opportunity,” he said.

Nasrallah said Israel was a state that centred on its military, adding: “If we destroy their army here in Lebanon, what future does the state have? The next war will change the face of the region.”

Thousands of people, including women and children, also formed a human chain for five kilometres (three miles) along south Lebanon’s border with Israel, waving Hezbollah and Palestinian flags to denounce Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinian after the creation of

the Jewish State in 1948.

“I declare that we… will not acknowledge, deal with, normalise ties with or surrender to Israel, even if the whole world acknowledges (it),” Nasrallah said.

Quds Day, the brainchild of the Islamic republic of Iran’s late founder Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, is held each year on the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan as a display of solidarity with the Palestinians.

Israel waged a bloody 34-day war on Lebanon in the summer of 2006 after Hezbollah fighters seized two Israeli soldiers in a deadly cross-border raid that aimed to free Lebanese soldiers from Israeli prisons. The bodies of the soldiers were returned in a prisoner swap.

The war claimed the lives of more than 1,200 people in Lebanon, most of them civilians, and more than 160 Israelis, most of them soldiers.

Hezbollah, originally a resistance group formed to counter an Israeli occupation of south Lebanon, had forced the Israeli military out of Lebanon in 2000. Israel, however, continues to occupy the Lebanese Shabaa Farms.

Israeli flights over Lebanon occur on an almost daily basis and are in breach of UN Security Council resolution 1710, which in August 2006 ended the war.

an President Dmitry Medvedev said Israeli officials have assured him that they are not planning a military strike on Iran.

In an interview with CNN television, Medvedev also confirmed that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to Moscow this month that included a meeting with the Russian president.

In a transcript of the interview released by the Kremlin on Sunday, Medvedev hedged on the question of whether Russia would support Iran if it were attacked

by Israel.

Although Russia has no defense agreement with Iran “this does not mean we would like to be or will be indifferent to such an occurrence… But my Israeli colleagues told me they were not planning to act in this way, and I trust them,” Medvedev said.

According to Reuters, President Shimon Peres made the pledge to Medvedev during a meeting in

the Russian resort of Sochi in August.

“When he visited me in Sochi, Israeli President Peres said something important for us all: ‘Israel does not plan to launch any strikes on Iran, we are a peaceful country and we will not do this’,” Medvedev said.

Medvedev also said the chances of an agreement with the United States on a new treaty to reduce strategic offensive weapons by the end of the year remain “quite high.”

Israel has never officially made an open threat to attack Iran but has also insisted that it was not taking any option off the table regarding the Islamic Republic’s contested nuclear program.

Iran insists its program is intended to produce energy.

‘Yes We Can’ Meets ‘No We Won’t’

President Obama was planning a trilateral meeting with Netanyahu and Abbas on the sidelines of next week’s UN General Assembly, and U.S. envoy Mitchell worked overtime this week to make it happen. But, suddenly, even getting the parties to a meeting is a challenge.

Not to mention the difficulty of getting other Arab countries to make some kind of gesture to show they will be supportive of the relaunched peace process.

Obama’s request was rebuffed by Saudi Arabia, which said it will “refuse to engage Israel until it ends its illegal occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights as well as Shabaa Farms in Lebanon,” Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal wrote in a New York Times op-ed.

So even if there is a meeting next week or in the following weeks – even if the parties grudgingly agree to “negotiate” – it is clear to everyone involved, except for the overeager Americans, that success is unlikely.

Because while Obama is running as fast as he can, all the Middle Eastern players are convinced that they had better move slowly. In short, the Obama administration had hoped that by showing enthusiasm and dynamism it would ignite positive momentum.

Instead, it had raised false expectations and now faces a credibility gap.

It’s been eight months since the Obama administration decided to invest heavily in a peace process that didn’t present any feasible opening for breakthroughs.

Israel will not freeze settlements, Palestinians will not soften their demands, and Arabs will not lend a hand.

And, by the way, Iran will not halt its nuclear program, Russia will

not vote for stronger sanctions, Lebanon will not have a Hizbullah-free government, and Syria will not arrest terrorists crossing into Iraq. Not until they have better reasons to do what Obama wants them to do.

Not until he shows t

White House: Tripartite meeting to take place on Tuesday

US President Barack Obama will host a meeting Tuesday with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in an effort to lay the groundwork for renewed peace negotiations, the White House announced Saturday night.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the three-way meeting would take place after Obama meets separately with each of the two leaders.

“These meetings will continue the efforts of President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Special Envoy George Mitchell to lay the groundwork for the relaunch of negotiations, and to create a positive context for those negotiations so that they can succeed,” the statement said.

The announcement of the meeting came as something of a surprise, as earlier this week Mitchell failed to make progress in talks with the two leaders. Hours before the Saturday night’s announcement, Israel and the PA cont inued to squabble over which side was to blame for the current stall

in peace talks.

In Saturday’s statement, Mitchell said “It is another sign of the president’s deep commitment to comprehensive peace that he wants to personally engage at this juncture.”

The meetings will take place in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

In his address, President Ahmadinejad said that World Qods Day is the beginning of the salvation of the Palestinian people and of all human beings from the hegemony of the world arrogant powers.

He said that Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s initiative some 30 years ago to establish Qods (Jerusalem) day had opened the way of honor, freedom, and dignity for all nations. Qods Day, he said, is the day of unity for

the Iranian nation, for Muslims, and for

the human community against all corrupt and oppressive powers.

He thanked God that Qods Day had become an important and decisive day for all the world’s people, and added that today it is an international event.

The World Has Divided Into Two Parts

The world has divided into two parts, he said, with all freedom and justice seekers and monotheists standing in one part, and all hegemonic powers and international criminals in the other.

He stated that the Iranians and most nations are familiar with the history of the Zionist regime. “The plans for the formation of the [Zionist] regime had been drawn up before the World War I to rule all material and intellectual sources of the world,” he said.

After World War I, he explained, Britain misused the negligence of the regional nations and Muslims to dominate the Palestinian territories, and then prepared the ground for storming the criminal Zionists to the region. He said that the Zionists, under the pretext of buying farms and lands, had occupied most parts of the Palestinian lands by force, terror, and violence.

In his sermon for Qods Day, Tehran Interim Friday prayer leader Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said that Sacred Defense Week, which is next week, is an outstanding part of the history of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. He said that the Sacred Defense has various messages for the people: “The first message is that those who follow their Imam in all aspects of their lives are invincible.”

“The Notion of Jihad and Martyrdom Helped People During Imposed War”

He continued, “It was the notion of jihad and martyrdom that helped people during the Imposed War (the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war), and this is the second message of the Sacred Defense Week.” He added that aristocracy and capitalism are against Jihad and martyrdom.

Ayatollah Khomeini’s, Iran’s Support of Palestinian Cause Rooted Deeply In Religion

THE INTERNATIONAL JUSTIFICATION BLAME GAME!

WE DID IT BECAUSE THEY ATTACKED US FIRST!

The age of so-called civilized warfare really began in the era of the Napoleonic Wars of 1803 to 1815. And, with the passage of time, it has become increasingly important for the two countries involved in a conflict to convince the rest of the world the other is the culprit who started the conflict. Every time Hitler, in his early conquests, marched his troops into countries to take them over in bloodless battles, he always had an excuse to justify his attacks. Finally, when he came to his planned conquest of the Poles, he could not really find what even remotely seemed like a justifiable reason. So he manufactured one. He had his own SS troops dress up in Polish uniforms and attack a German border outpost. Then the SS put dead Polish bodies in the immediate vicinity of the outpost and had photographers and reporters in to verify their story. Using this farce as justification for his actions, he attacked Poland in September of 1939, and World War II began.

Some interesting developments, involving Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and the terrorist groups, particularly Hizbollah, have been occurring along the northern border

of Israel with Lebanon. I do not believe what I am now observing in that area will lead to an immediate war, but I suspect it may well do so in the not too distant future.

And, if I am correct in my assumptions, it could give Syria justification for attacking Israel in the eyes of most of the international world.

President Bush has demanded that Syria cut it’s backing for the Hizbollah terrorists that operate along the southern border of Lebanon, and that it expel the other Palestinian terrorist groups it currently has operating out of Syria. Damascus now hosts 10 Palestinian terrorist groups, which include the extremist groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. In response to the demands of President Bush, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said: “Syria supports the Lebanese national resistance, including Hizbollah, in resisting Israeli occupation and liberating land.” Concerning the demand that the other terrorist groups in Syria be removed, he said: “Their work is limited to political and media activities, and their offices in Damascus provide political representation to the 400,000 Palestinians who look to attain their rights and return to their land.” Israel has repeatedly warned Syria that if Hizbollah continued its border attacks on Israeli civilians and troops on its northern border, they would start hitting targets in Syria in retaliation. Bashar has responded by saying that Syria would defend itself against any Israeli action. He said: “If the Israeli government involves itself in waging aggression on the territory of Syria, then Syria will defend itself.”

So far Israel’s policy against recent Hizbollah attacks has shown remarkable restraint, probably because of not wanting to open a second front of conflict to the one they now have going in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Even though seven Israeli soldiers were killed by a Hizbollah terrorist team that penetrated the border fence, Israel has held back from violent retaliation. And now Bashar al-Assad has joined with Iran to provide heavier rockets for the Hizbollah arsenal of terror. Israeli officials have watched Hizbollah deploy thousands of new missiles and rockets that are aimed at Israeli civilian population centers.

Once Israel has completed its long buffer zone fence around the West Bank, and beefed up the one it already has around the Gaza Strip, it will become confident it has finally achieved the impossible, it will say it has “peace and safety.” And all the time that it was tied up internally in so doing, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon will have been slowly slipping troops in position for a lightning Jihad from the north. Israel’s preoccupation with its internal safety is going to cause them to slack off in their gaze on what is going on externally.

During the time that Alexander’s great empire had been divided into four sections, the Syrian section (Seleucid) held Israel some of the time, and the Egyptian section (Ptolemy) held it when they took it from the Syrians. Israel was at times a part of the Egyptian section, at times a part of the Syrian section, and at times a part of both. Daniel lists a very long series of battles between the king of the north (Syria) and the king of the South (Egypt). Most of Daniel’s prophecies about these two kingdoms were fulfilled by their many kings from Daniel 11:4 through 35, but there remains one war yet to be fulfilled, and I believe it is the aforementioned Jihad that begins in Daniel 11:40. Since Israel was once part of the section occupied by Ptolemy, I am persuaded that Israel is the king of the south and Syria is the king of the north in Daniel 11:40-45.

I suspect that after Israel has lulled itself into a false sense of peace and safety by it’s military might, it will have gained even more confidence in its great ability to take care of any Islamic intrusion. It may well be that Syria will get Hizbollah to kick up a storm of activity along the northern border by launching a massive missile and rocket attack across the border into the populations of northern Israel. Syria will do this knowing that Israel will cross the border into Lebanon and hit Syrian targets from the air. But this time Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran will be waiting for it, and six other Islamic nations will be poised to supply logistical support. The Islamic nations can cry out while they head south: “We were attacked first, we are justified in this response to the Israeli invasion of our sovereign territory.” This will cause a hesitation by the western world at first and, by the time it wakes up, Jerusalem will have fallen, and Israel will be fleeing into the Negev.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Daniel 11:40 – And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

Zechariah 13:8 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein

shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left

therein.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

First comes a time when Israel actually believes it can maintain “peace and safety.” Then a time of false “peace and safety” sets in for a brief period. Then a border incident! Then a response! Then a Jihad, and the last 1260 days of the tribulation period are under way.

Analysis: Teheran is restraining an already wary Hizbullah

One of the ways the IDF arrives at the conclusion that Hizbullah is more cautious today than it was several years ago is by analyzing the Lebanese Shi’ite group’s behavior during Operation Cast Lead, which the IDF waged against Hamas in

the Gaza Strip earlier this year.

During Operation Defensive Shield in 2002 – when the IDF took up positions in all major cities in the West Bank – Hizbullah fired 600 rockets and mortar shells, and 300 anti-tank missiles, into Israel. Fourteen Israelis were wounded.

During Cast Lead – when IDF troops swept into the Gaza Strip – Hizbullah did not fire a single rocket.

This has led to an understanding in the IDF’s Northern Command that while Hizbullah is rebuilding its military capabilities and may have more rockets today than it did before the Second Lebanon War in 2006, it is extremely wary, possibly more than ever.

Another demonstration of this restraint was seen in the handling of Igor Kagan, reportedly a mentally unstable man from Rishon Lezion who crossed into Lebanon on August 25.

Kagan was captured by UNIFIL and handed over to the Lebanese Armed Forces for interrogation. Israel succeeded in identifying him two days after he crossed the border, after UNIFIL provided a picture that was then published widely in the press.

Eight hours after he was identified, Kagan was returned to Israel

This is not something that would have happened a few years ago,” explained a senior officer in the Northern Command.

There were in fact fears that Hizbullah might try to get its hands on Kagan, prompting UNIFIL commander Maj.-Gen. Claudio Graziano to personally intervene and contact the most senior political leaders in Beirut to ensure that Kagan would be granted safe passage back to Israel.

In addition to the general fear of an Israeli retaliation – which could explain the afore-mentioned restraint – Hizbullah is also being held back by its main patron – Iran.

In a process that began following the Second Lebanon War and continues today, Teheran is solidifying its control over the guerrilla group by placing Iranian military officers as commanders of Hizbullah units in Lebanon and appointing Iranian officials to fill the void left by the assassination last year of Hizbullah military commander Imad Mughniyeh.

Iran views Hizbullah as a forward base of operations for the day that it will need to light up Israel’s northern border. It has invested billions of dollars in Hizbullah and does not want to see it thrown away in a war sparked by the kidnapping of IDF reservists. It needs Hizbullah in the event that its nuclear facilities are attacked.

Most of Hizbullah’s rockets and weaponry have been deployed inside the 160 Lebanese Shi’ite villages south of the Litani River.

This poses an operational problem for Israel in the event of a new conflict, since the IDF will have to ensure the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of civilians from the area before sending in ground troops. While the army waits for this to happen, there is no doubt that the Israeli home front will come under heavy fire from the short-range Katyusha rockets stored in these villages.

For Hizbullah, this also poses a problem.

On the one hand, the Shi’ite villages are where Hizbullah’s supporters and fighters come from. On the other hand, if and when a war breaks out with Israel, since most of the weaponry is in the villages, there will likely be a lot of destruction there, similar to Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip in December 2008 and January 2009.
