Hizbullah: Parts of Upper Galilee Belong to Lebanon

(IsraelNN.com) The Hizbullah terrorist organization is claiming that several farms in the Upper Galilee in the north of Israel actually belong to Lebanon.

“Zionist terrorist organizations moved the border line from what was established in 1920 to a new line in 1923 which stripped Lebanon of its seven villages and 20 farms,” declared Hizbullah “international relations official” Nawaf Moussawi.

The statement was issued Monday following a meeting with the Norwegian ambassador to Lebanon.

Khaled Mashaal, the Damascus-based head of the Hamas terrorist organization’s political bureau, w as also paid a rare visit to Beirut on Monday for meetings with Hizbullah officials,

as well as with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman.

The Hizbullah spokesman maintained that the so-called “Blue Line” border between Israel and Lebanon created by the United Nations is “not a border line” but rather is only a “line setting withdrawal limits” from s outhern Lebanon when Israel pulled

out of the country in 2000.

According to the Naharnet news agency, Moussawi also claimed that the Blue Line “strips Lebanon of millions of square meters from its national soil.”

The terrorist added that his group was “committed to our rights in confronting Israeli violations. In fact, it is our duty to confront such aggressions.” Hizbullah has complained numerous times about flyovers by Israel Air Force aircraft in Lebanese air space, which Israel uses to maintain its security surveillance of the area.

There is no question that Islamic forces are preparing for a major war against Israel.

The unanswered question is not IF it will occur, rather WHEN it will occur. This is something I have been trying to figure out since I wrote my first book some 32 years ago. My thoughts first began to be focused on the time of the final attack which would trigger the last war of the age in 1967, and after I retired from the National Security Agency in 1971, I graduated from Seminary and University, working on my first book while doing post-graduate University work. My first book approached the events of the tribulation period mainly as its events lent themselves to geological upheavals in the earth’s crust. And one of my reasons for writing it was as a rebuttal to a very popular book stating the world would undergo great geological upheavals when the planet alignment occurred in 1982. I told people the planet alignment would have some effect, but that the major resultant of the alignment would not have its effect in 1982, but at some point in time near the end of the century or the early 21st century.

In both meteorological and geological courses I was required to finish, the “precession of the axis of the earth” was taught. It is a part of what is referred to as the “galactic alignment.” The “galactic alignment” occurs only once every 26,000 years, and is the alignment of the solstice sun in December with the galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the precession of

the equinoxes. Precession is a result of the planet wobbling ever so slowly on its axis every 71 and one half years.

Since the sun is one half of a degree wide, it takes the December sun 36 years to precede through the galactic equator. If one was able to gaze into the exact center of the sun as a reference point, that point’s exact alignment with the galactic was to occur near the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. It was later calculated by Jean Meeus in 1997, to occur in 1998. He computed the galactic alignment time zone to be plus or minus 18 years either side of 1998, which would be between 1980 and 2016.

The prophetic ingredients in the Middle East had not lined up when I wrote “Tectonic Chaos,” so I knew chaos would not begin in 1982 when many were saying it would.

However, I did believe it could occur as early as the nineties, if events lined up in the Middle East at that time, which they did not. But I have always looked at 2008 as a significant prophetic year, because it marked Jerusalem being in Israeli hands for forty years, and I had hoped, up until 2006, that the chaos might begin in 2008. But now the Middle East prophetic events are lined up just as the Scriptures indicated they would be, and the meteorological and geological phenomena are in the galactic alignment time zone, so I am very confident of my guesstimate the chaos will begin at some point in time between 2010 and 2015.

This is one of the reasons, when I put up Prophecy Update Number 7 in March, 2001, that I used 2012 as the outer limit of when I expected the attack to occur, even though the galactic alignment time zone extended to 2016.

For a long time I persisted in believing the optimum time was in the zone from 2008 to 2012, as you read in my blogs until 2006. In 2006, I saw that events in the Middle East were not lining up as fast as I had thought, so I changed my guesstimate to some point in time between 2010 and 2015. Middle East events are finally lining up as Scriptures foretold them to be just before the attack was to occur, and I feel quite confident of the 2010 to 2015 time frame.

I will not adjust it again. When 2010 rolls in, I will stick to it!

Syria will lead an Islamic array of nations against Israel.

The well coordinated effort of these nations, aided by the Palestinians within Israel, will be able to initially defeat the woman Israel, and she will be forced to remain in the Negev for three and one-half prophetic years, or 1260 days.

According to Zechariah 13:9 to 14:2, only one-third of Israel will make it into the Negev, and the city of Jerusalem will fall to the Islamic conglomerate: “[9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God. [1] Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. [2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.” Considering the present number of Jews in Israel (about 4.8 million), if the attack were to occur now, that would mean about 1.6 million Jews would be hedged in the Negev for 1260 days. If the attack were to occur in the distant future that number could reach 2 million. I really do not expect such an attack to occur this year, because it has to first be secretly coordinated behind closed doors, between several Arab nations confederate with Syria, and with the terrorist groups they control. This will take several years. I feel confident the attack will not occur before 2003, but

I do believe it will occur before 2012.

The galactic alignment occurs only once every 26,000 years, and I have believed, since God created the universe, that it would be quite likely, if prophetic events began to line up in the Middle East, which they have, that all the meteorological and geological phenomena of the tribulation period would finally come together to create worldwide chaos at some point in time prior to 2016, which is part of the reason I chose 2010 to 2015 as the time chaos was to begin with an Islamic attack on Israel. I have long believed it could occur as early as the nineties of the last century or as late as 2015, and only time will tell if my guesstimate is correct.

Hizballah shops for anti-tank missiles in Moscow

A Hizballah mission, which arrived in Moscow Tuesday, Oct. 28, was taken around Russian state of the art anti-tank missile factories, including KBP in the town of Tula southwest of Moscow, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military sources report. The Lebanese visitors were treated to a live fire demonstration of various types of missile. They then ordered 3,000 missiles of different types and returned home Saturday, Nov. 1.

Tehran is footing the bill.

Our sources disclose that the hardware inspected by the Hizballah officers included 9M133 (Nato-coded Spriggan AT-14) which can be launched by helicopter and Kliver, which is an upgraded Kornet-E mounted on vehicles. The Lebanese Shiite terrorist shoppers also placed a large order for RPG-2 rocket-propelled grenades made by Bazalt.

In the 2006 Lebanon war, the older RPG-29 used by Hizballah was responsible for most of the hits suffered

by Israeli tanks.

Last month, Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert traveled to Moscow to ask Russian leaders to refrain from selling arms to Syria and Iran, countries at war with Israel. Moscow only promised to reconsider weapons sales capable of upsetting the balance of strength in “sensitive regions” and then went right ahead to sign big arms deals with Damascus and Tehran – and now Hizballah.

Sunday, Nov. 2, defense minister Ehud Barak warned Syria that arming Hizballah with new anti-air weapons would force Israel to “consider its position.”

Several weeks ago, DEBKAfile reported that Syria had supplied the Shiite group with anti-air missiles supported by radar stations. They are already deployed on two Lebanese peaks, Mt. Sannine and Jebel Barukh, which Hizballah controls.

BEIRUT: As Lebanon’s president and prime minister headed Wednesday to Rome and Cairo respectively, the country’s leading politicians remained focused on Christian reconciliation efforts and the upcoming parliamentary elections, which will draw the country’s political map for the next four years.

President Michel Sleiman left for Rome on Wednesday, accompanied by a delegation that included Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh, Defense Minister Elias Murr and ministers of state Khaled Qabbani and Youssef Taqla. Sleiman is expected to meet on Thursday with his Italian counterpart, Giorgio Napolitano, and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. On Friday, Sleiman is scheduled to meet with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican.

He is also to meet with Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah

Butros Sfeir.

Sources quoted by the Central News Agency said on Wednesday that Sleiman’s meeting with the patriarch would focus on launching a new initiative to achieve reconciliation among rival Christians.

The sources added that Sleiman would use the upcoming national dialogue session to try to promote reconciliation efforts among all factions.

As Sleiman began his visit to Rome, Egyptian and Lebanese officials began official talks on Wednesday in Cairo.

The visiting Lebanese delegation is headed by Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and includes Education Minister Bahia Hariri, Economy and Trade Minister Mohammad Safadi, Energy and Water Resources Minister Alain Tabourian, Culture Minister Tammam Salam, Tourism Minister Elie Marouni and Minister of State Ibrahim Chamseddine. Three educational agreements were signed during the first meeting on Wednesday and additional agreements are expected to be signed on Thursday.

Siniora also met with a delegation of Lebanese and Egyptian businessmen.

Separately, Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun announced on Wednesday that he would run in the 2009 elections

in Kesrouan-Jbeil and not in Baabda in order to put an end to criticism that he would win the latter district thanks to the Shiite vote.

In an interview with Kuwait’s Al-Anbaa newspaper, Aoun acknowledged that “running in Kesrouan is a big challenge to me.” However, he added that “All prospects are possible in the elections.”

Aoun said that his popularity among Christians had not decreased to less than 51 percent, according to opinion polls.

He added that he would be able secure 70 percent of the Christian vote based on his “future alliances.”

Concerning efforts to achieve inter-Christian reconciliation, Aoun said: “The doors of reconciliation have not been closed, because they were not open in the first place.”

Aoun added that apologies are useless when the people to whom they are addressed are not identified by name. Aoun was referring to remarks made by Lebanese Forces (LF) leader Samir Geagea, who has apologized for any “mistakes” that the LF may have committed during the Civil War. The LF boss has stopped short of apologizing directly to Marada Movement leader and former Interior Minister Suleiman Franjieh, whose father, mother and sister were killed by Geagea’s militia in a 1978 raid on the family’s home in Ehden.

Geagea claims that he was shot before he arrived at the scene of the killings.

Aoun added that the best means for reconciliation was through the judiciary.

Meanwhile, Franjieh said the public should not dwell extensively upon reconciliation efforts, “because they will happen at the right time when conditions mature.”

Franjieh met on Wednesday with the Maronite League president, Joseph Tarabay, who has been mediating between the Marada and the Lebanese Forces in a bid to reach a reconciliation agreement between the two long-time rivals.

“The reconciliation issue should be discussed calmly, because if discussions around it are hurried, its damage will be greater than its benefits,” Franjieh said after the meeting. He added that he and Tarabay agreed on the need to ease tensions in the media and avoid political bickering through media outlets

“The reconciliation is not a ball that we throw in someone else’s court; it is a fundamental issue, as innocent blood was shed during a period of the history and the Christians were divided,” Franjieh added.

However, the Marada leader added that his party was willing to continue talks with the Maronite League and said he hoped that the media would deal objectively with the matter.

Asked about the conditions that his party has put forward to agree on reconciliation with the LF, Franjieh said: “We have said it before and the League knows that our conditions are not very difficult to meet.”

He added: “This issue should be permanently closed as it will not remain a trade product used by some parties in the media.”

Tarabay, for his part, said the Maronite League was willing to continue its efforts until the reconciliation is achieved.

Franjieh also met on Wednesday with the UN secretary general’ s repre

sentative in Lebanon, Michael Williams.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc welcomed the talks between Nasrallah and Hariri over the weekend, saying the meeting had eased tensions in Lebanon and in the wider Arab and Islamic worlds.

The statement also stressed the bloc’s adherence to the outcome of the Nasrallah-Hariri meeting and urged “all the Lebanese to cooperate” to achieve national reconciliation.

Meanwhile, former President Amin Gemayel said he hoped all Lebanese parties would follow the example of Hariri and Nasrallah.

In comments following his meeting on Wednesday with Russian Ambassador Serguei Boukin, Gemayel said: “There is a determin

ation to push the reconciliation forward. The meeting between parliamentary majority leader MP Saad Hariri and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah should widen the framework of reconciliations.”

“We support all efforts in this regard and we ask President Michel Sleiman and Patriarch Nasrallah Butros Sfeir to make further efforts to achieve inter-Christian reconciliation as soon as possible,” he added.

The fact that many Americans simply will not accept is that war with the forces of Islamic belief is inevitable, because this coming world war, which will first engulf the Middle East, and eventually affect the entire world at Armageddon, is an ideological war based on theology which has penetrated deep into the Shiite soul of Islam. This fanatical Shiite belief will soon inflame the Sunni ranks long enough for Shiite iron and Sunni clay to hold together for some three and one-half years, but the bond will finally break apart and crumble into pieces at Armageddon.

This coming conflict, which I guesstimate is likely to begin at some point in time

between 2010 and 2015, cannot be prevented by diplomacy or by force. The only unanswered question is WHEN it will begin! My major purpose in this life has not been to advise HOW to prevent it, but rather to warn people to get their souls READY for it! Whatever you intent to do about accepting Jesus as Savior, or in serving him after you know him as Savior, you had better get do it quickly, because this thing in the Middle East will eventually explode suddenly at a point in time AFTER American troops are pulled out.

Khamenei: “The Iranian People’s Hatred for America Is Profound”; Larijani: America Should Beware of Our Martyrdom-Seekers

Following recent reports in the West regarding the possibility of opening an American interest office in Tehran, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said in an October 29, 2008 speech to students, which was quoted on Iranian TV, that “the Iranian people’s hatred for America is profound.” This statement was apparently meant to put an end to any debate on the American proposal.

Khamenei added: “The reason for this [hatred] is the various plots that the U.S. government has concocted against Iran and the Iranian people in the past 50 years. The Americans have not only refused to apologize for their actions, but have continued with their arrogant actions.”

Khamenei said further that the confrontation between Iran and the U.S. would lead “the arrogant American regime to a dead end,” and stressed that “anyone who wished to trample the identity and independence of the Iranian nation would have his hand cut off by it.” [1]

Due to Iran’s growing fear of a U.S. military strike, senior Iranian leaders have been threatening the U.S. in the recent days with suicide attacks on its forces in

the region, and have been warning about the annihilation of Israel.

Larijani: America’s Adventurousness Will Have a Price

Following the recent U.S. strikes in Pakistan and Syria, Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani threatened suicide attacks against the U.S. Speaking in the Majlis, he warned the U.S. that “its adventurousness would have a price that it would not be able to control,” and that the response to its aggression would not take the form of diplomatic protest. He added that “the way to prevent this American behavior, which was reflected in acts of aggression, is to react in a strong and unpredictable way that was bequeathed to us by the martyr Fahmideh, [2] and employed by Hizbullah in the 2006 Lebanon War, which constituted a ringing slap [in the] Zionists’ [face]…

“The weak point of the Americans and the Zionists is that they lack a force of jihad fighters and martyrdom-seekers. It was not without reason that Imam [Khomeini] honored the martyr Fahmideh as a role model for the nation – for his sacrifice embodies the very essence of Jihadi Islamic thought and spirit, and he set out a new path for a world steeped in materialism.

Javani: An Attack on Iran Would Bring About the Annihilation of Israel

IRGC Political Bureau Chief General Yadollah Javani threatened that a military strike on Iran by the U.S. and Israel would prompt “a crushing counterblow by Iran and its allies in the region and will trigger a Palestinian popular uprising in the occupied territories, which will cause Khomeini’s ideal of erasing Israel from the pages of history to be realized, and bring about a great day for the Palestinians and the Muslim nation by delivering holy Jerusalem from [Israel’s] cruel claws.”

Javani added: “Iran has considerable means, abilities, and resources at its disposal in Iran [itself], as well as in the Middle East and in the Muslim world [at large], and even among the oppressed peoples. Most of these resources, and the ways they can be used to confront enemies like America and the Zionist regime, are unknown [to these enemies]… [though] America knows well how vulnerable they are in the Middle East…

Javani stated further: “All of Israel’s territory lies within the range of Iran’s missiles and those of its allies in the region, so Israel should not feel too smug about its anti-missile [defense] systems.” He also threatened that Iran could close the Strait of Hormuz for a long time, and thus bring the global economic crisis to a “horrible level.” [4]

High-Ranking Iranian Commanders: We Will Teach Our Enemies a Crushing and Unforgettable Lesson

IRGC Deputy Commander General Mohammad Hejazi said, in a similar vein, that Iran’s armed forces, under the command of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, would teach Iran’s enemies an unforgettable lesson if they chose to attack it. [5]

Iranian Defense Minister Mustafa Mohammad Najjar said that Iran had sophisticated weapons and could neutralize the enemies’ threats on land and in the air, and in [the area of] electronic warfare. He added that Iran’s military would react with a crushing response to the various threats posed by Iran’s enemies. [6]

Iran tests ways of recovering weapons-grade uranium from spent nuclear fuel

This intelligence assessment, disclosed to AP by a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), indicates that the Iranians are testing ways of using nuclear waste from the Bushehr reactor, which the Russians have pledged to finish by the end of the year or March, 2009, at latest.

Moscow has provided the necessary fuel. Both Moscow and Iran claim the Bushehr reactor is purely for peaceful purposes.

The spent fuel at issue as the source of the enriched uranium is not enough to yield the 30 kilos of weapons grade (90 percent enriched) material for a bomb, but is another step in that direction. DEBKAfile adds that Bushehr could provide enough nuclear waste f or rapid production of several bombs

or warheads.

In a Kol Israel radio interview this week, Martin Indyk, former US ambassador to Israel and member of Barack Obama’ s Middle Ea

st team, disclosed that US intelligence now reckons Iran will have between one and three nuclear bombs by the end of 2009.

The tests, which loosely replicate Saddam Hussein’s attempt to build a bomb 20 years ago, were described by the source as “evaluating procedures for recycling fuel by dissolving fuel rods for irradiated waste, then reprocessing it for uranium metal,” which is used for nuclear warheads.

The source material, says the intelligence report, would be highly enriched, some at above 90 percent and the rest at 20 percent. “

“Sufficient data was collected for planning production lines for recovering the fuel,” according the assessment, which discloses the location of the experiments as Jaber ibn Hayan Laboratories in Tehran run by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. They will soon submit a report to the Iranian leadership for a decision on whether to go ahead with the project.
