There has never been any question that, before the first earthquake occurs in the Book of Revelation in Chapter 6, the stock market will have gone out of existence. But the question has always specifically been WHEN the final collapse will occur.

One of these days another of the many plunges just like those we have seen over the past 20 years will start, but 20 years have ingrained in the investor’ s mind

s the old adage of buy low, sell high.

Now, when a plunge begins, many investors have learned to hold onto stocks during a plunge, knowing they will rebound eventually to even greater value.

So, when this final real plunge finally does occur, it will keep going down to the bottom, and the majority of investors will lose everything.

I am a synoptic analyst NOT, repeat NOT, a financial analyst. The pieces of the prophetic puzzle in the Bible have a guide of truth that comes with them, but the stock market is a den of greed with very little truth or honesty in it. I know a plunge has to occur from Bible prophecy, BUT I DO NOT KNOW SPECIFICALLY “WHEN!” The best I can offer you is the old saying, “SOONER THAN LATER!”

The suddenness of the oil price surge has produced an abrupt huge rise in prices of food and gas, such that people are turning more to their credit cards that in previous price surges. This will result in increased credit card personal bankruptcies, which is one of the reasons I use the expression “SOONER THAN LATER.”

Cramer: Stocks are Doomed, Sell Now

Jim Cramer, the often loud and always bullish host of a popular CNBC show, is now bearish.

Cramer frequently tells his audience that he believes there is always a bull market somewhere, and it’s his goal to help them find it.

“But this time is different; it’s doom itself,” Cramer recently wrote in New York magazine.

“In 25 years on Wall Street, I have never seen things this bad.”

Cramer is a former hedge fund manager who delivered a compounded rate of return of 24 percent for 15 years at his firm, Cramer Berkowitz.

His investment advice is always very specific, and he is also clear about what

he sees over t

he short term.

“Sell everything. Nothing’s working,” he writes.

“Revisit when the prices are adjusted for a big recession, soaring inflation, and a crushed consumer. Sell at 12,000 and come back at 10,000.

Even better: short it,” said Cramer.

Barclays Capital agrees with Cramer’s assessment of inflation.

It is now predicting that headline inflation will spike to 5.5 percent by August, and the Fed will respond by increasing interest rates six times before the end of 2009.

The Consumer Confidence Index is also near all-time lows.

The Conference Board Consumer Research Center recently reported consumers’ assessment of present-day conditions continues to grow more negative and suggests the economy remains stuck in low gear.

Looking ahead, consumer outlook is so bleak that the Expectations Index has reached a new all-time low, the group reported.

Cramer cites Wall Street layoffs as a sign of the troubles.

More than 40,000 investment bankers and sales people are expected to lose their jobs at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Citigroup, and what was once Bear Stearns.

“We’ve had some tough times: the 1987 stock market crash, the collapse of the once-all-powerful Drexel Burnham Lambert, the immolation of Long Term Capital, the post-9/11 calamity, and the dot-com implosion. Every one of these events rocked the Street, causing pay cuts and layoffs and creating a sense of doom.”

A long-term bull, Cramer admits his bullish bias, “ I am an inherent optimist about Wall Street.

Every time I’ve seen one business go down, there was always a replacement business right behind it.”

But with investment banking, bonds, equities, and mergers and acquisitions all stumbling at the same time, he concludes, “Try as I might to see where new business can come from, I don’t see it coming anytime soon.”

He’ll be bullish again, after “a big recession,” when inflation is tamed, and the consumer feels better about the economy.

Secretary of State Rice pushed for the move in a meeting on Monday of Bush’s top aides, and Bush’s support suggests he increasingly is determined to put aside a possible military strike in an effort to reach a deal to end Iran’s nuclear program in his final six months in office.

In 2006, the initial package of incentives included only a vague reference to Iran’s security concerns. The new package, by contrast, offers to negotiate extensive security commitments, including supporting Iran in “playing an important and constructive role in international affairs.” The administration has also supported EU foreign policy chief Solana’s concept of a “freeze for a freeze” that blurs the lines between suspension of uranium enrichment and discussion.

The interfaith conference in Madrid was organized by a man accused of working with a senior al-Qaeda financier who unabashedly supports Palestinian suicide bombings. Abdullah al-Turki organized the conference on behalf of the Muslim World League (MWL), where he is secretary general.

The MWL was created by the Saudi royal family in 1962 to “promote Islamic unity” and spread Wahhabi doctrine.

In the week following the 9/11 attacks, al-Turki told a radio interviewer that U.S. policy was responsible for the attacks.

Bob Blitzer, who served as the FBI’s domestic terrorism chief in the 1990s, said he was troubled by a conference purported to be about interfaith dialogue being organized by a group charged with spreading Wahhabism, whose principal organizer is alleged in court papers to have ties to al-Qaeda.

The article from Arutz Sheva on the growing takeover of American corporations involved in mammon distribution is no surprise to me. In the word’s of the unknown comic on the Gong Show, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”

As a synoptic analyst, trained to put the pieces of a puzzle together, from which future decisions can be made, it was apparent to me more than 32 years ago what we now see in the Middle East would eventually happen.

In my first book, “Tectonic Chaos,” written in 1976, I wrote the following:

and gaining growing international power, but some Arab investors are worried their investments may go down the drain with the American economy.

The current financial crisis in the United States has spread to other countries because of a massive debt that was not backed by enough real and liquid collateral. Banks and businesses gasping for financial breath are up for sale at basement prices, but no one is certain if the basement

is the bottom.

“The possibility remains that more Arab white knights will be sought to rescue ailing financial institutions,” wrote Dr. Mohammed Ramady, a former banker and Visiting Associate Professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in the Financial Adviser magazine. He said he fears that Arab investors will end up chasing their investments with more money to keep them from going under.

The Abu Dhabi Investment Council of the oil-rich United Arab Emirates kingdom of Abu

Dhabi last November announced it was bailing out the mammoth Citibank financial institution, formerly headed by Bank of Israel Governor Prof. Stanley Fischer, with $7.5 billion.

Next in line was Britain’s Barclay’s Bank, which raised $9 billion from investors in the oil-rich kingdom of Qatar and in Asian countries. The Abu Dhabi Investment Council last month forked out approximately $800 million for a 75 percent stake in New York City’s 1,046-foot-tall Chrysler Building, which was the world’s tallest building for a year until the Empire State Building surpassed it in the 1930’s.

The purchase of American banks by foreigners has been blocked in the past by security and political considerations, but the barriers have come down, wrote Dr. Ramady. “How long this lasts is only a matter of guesswork, as once again, the specter of foreign takeovers of ‘national’ symbols will be hard to accept,” he added.

The latest American symbol to go down the drain is the Anheuser-Busch beer brewer. The Times of London wrote, “The weak dollar and weak economy mean the United States is up for sale. Japs are conquering the car industry. Arabs just bought part of the Chrysler Building. Jeez, they even tried to buy the ports a while back.

Whatever next? A hijab on the Statue of Liberty?”

In a more serious vein, The Australian editor-at-large Paul Kelly wrote earlier this month that the foreign investments, headed by Arabs, signal a major change in international power.

“The energy, financial and political woes that grip the U.S. signal a decisive shift in world power, mocking the liberal delusion that Barack Obama or John McCain can return American prestige and power to its pre-Bush year 2000 nirvana,” he wrote. “There is no such nirvana. There is instead a new reality: the greatest transfer of income in human history [and] the rise of a new breed of wealthy autocracies that cripple U.S. hopes of dominating the global system and demands on the U.S. to make fresh compromises in a world where power is rapidly being diversified.”

Flynt Leverett, former director of Middle East Affairs on the National Security Council, thinks that “the international economic position of the United States has deteriorated substantially since the new millennium.”

In the current issue of The American Interest, Gal Luft, from the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, warned that OPEC’s Arab countries could potentially “buy the Bank of America with two months’ worth of production and General Motors with six days’ worth.”

The growing Arab takeover of American businesses continues unhindered. The giant Dow Chemical company and a Kuwaiti company have agreed to set up world headquarters for their joint petrochemical venture in Dearborn, Michigan, which has a high concentration of American Arabs.

The Abu Dubai Investment Council years ago entered the international media business, buying a nine percent stake in Reuters News Agency, which usually reports with an open anti-Israeli bias.

However, Abu Dhabi’s’ director of international affairs, Yousef al Otaiba, has reassured American officials that its purchase of Citibank will not be used to exert political pressure on the U.S. He wrote the Treasury Department, “It is important to be absolutely clear that the Abu Dhabi government has never and will never use its investment organizations or individual investments as a foreign policy tool.”

Putting decades of vicious sectarian, political and personality differences aside, Lebanon’s body politic came together Wednesday night in a heartfelt display of national unity:

Samir Kuntar had been brought home.

After a nearly 30-year absence, there he stood before the frantic multitude, this progeny of Lebanon – whose road to manhood took him from out-of-control juvenile delinquent to adolescent child-killer to unremorseful mature terrorist – in army fatigues, waving the Lebanese and Hizbullah flags, arm outstretched in the Hizbullah salute, a manic glint in his eyes. A true son of his country.

In a flash, the face of the new Lebanon was unmasked. As celebratory music helped work the crowd into a frenzy, and with Kuntar and several other released terrorists on stage as props, the real “hero” and personification of that new Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah, emerged for a few moments – his first appearance since January. The Druse-born Kuntar impulsively kissed his beaming hero. Nasrallah did not reciprocate.

“The age of defeats is gone, and the age of victories has come. This people, this nation gave a great and clear image today to its friends and enemies that it cannot be defeated,” Nasrallah told the jubilant crowd.

He was then whisked away by bodyguards to a hiding place from which he delivered the rest of his address, broadcast over a gigantic screen set up in the south Beirut square where the welcoming ceremonies were held.

“One of the greatest fortunes is that the unity government welcomed the freed prisoners,” Nasrallah declared.

A while earlier the red carpet had been rolled out at Beirut International Airport, as warlords and politicians from rival factions welcomed Kuntar and the other released gunmen as national heroes.

Druse leader Walid Jumblatt proudly recalled that his father, Kamal (assassinated by Syria), had been in the vanguard of Lebanon’ s Pale

stinian cause. Christian Maronite president Michael Aoun cited Lebanese unity in the struggle against the Jewish state and commitment to “the return of the Palestinians to their land.” Nabih Berri, speaker of the Lebanese parliament and boss of the Shi’ite Amal movement, was there, as was “pro-American” Prime Minister Fuad Saniora, a Sunni Muslim.

Rounding out the delegation were the Sunni majority leader of parliament, Saad Hariri (whose father was also assassinated by Syria) and Christian opposition leader Michel Aoun. They put aside their own differences and their disputes with Nasrallah to give each of the returning “militants” a hug

and a kiss.

A VITAL lesson Israeli strategists must draw from this nauseating display of perverted unity: Lebanon and Hizbullah are one. If, heaven forbid, there is another war, the IDF must wage it with ferocity – not on Hizbullah’s terms, but across the Lebanese battlefield.

Ever since the June 1982 Lebanon War, the Israeli military has allowed itself to be hamstrung in targeting Lebanon. International media coverage of that war, often manipulative and tendentious, along with Western – particularly US – opposition to striking at the country’s infrastructure, made vanquishing our enemies impossible.

Even among Israelis there was the lingering sense that Lebanon was essentially a peace-loving society taken hostage by violent, unrepresentative factions.

Ultimately, that assessment reigned supreme, inhibiting the IDF from finishing Yasser Arafat off. Instead the PLO was merely ousted from its Beirut and southern Lebanon strongholds and exiled to Tunisia.

But that war’s unintended consequences led to an even worse outcome: Iranian-backed Shi’ite Islamism and the rise of Hizbullah.

NOW THAT Lebanon and Hizbullah have apparently melded, the self-defeating legacy of IDF inhibition must end. At the start of the Second Lebanon War, former IDF chief of staff Dan Halutz warned bombastically that Israel would “turn back the clock in Lebanon by 20 years” if Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev were not returned.

No one took him seriously – Israel would never punish “good Lebanon” for the crimes of “bad Hizbullah.” The IAF limited itself to mostly targeting Islamist strongholds. But if Lebanon and Hizbullah are now one, Israel needs a radically revised strategy for winning a war on Lebanese soil.

Artificial distinctions between “Lebanese” and “Hizbullah” targets were swept away by Wednesday’s display of barbaric unity. Lebanon was revealed in its hostile unanimity. If new conflict comes, Israel must internalize that unanimity of hate-filled purpose, and defeat it decisively.

Hizbullah moves into ‘every town’

Hizbullah is bolstering its presence in south Lebanon villages with non-Shi’ite majorities by buying land and using it to build military positions and store missiles and launchers, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

The decision to build infrastructure in non-Shi’ite villages – where Hizbullah has less support – is part of the group’s post-war strategy under which it has mostly abandoned the “nature reserves,” forested areas in southern Lebanon where it kept most of its Katyusha rocket launchers before the Second Lebanon War.

Behind the change is

the mandate given to UNIFIL by the United Nations after the war in 2006.

According to the mandate, the peacekeeping force can patrol freely throughout southern Lebanon but cannot enter villages or cities without being accompanied by soldiers from the Lebanese Armed Forces, which regularly tips off Hizbullah ahead of the raids.

News of the change in Hizbullah strategy came as Israel is trying to persuade the UN to strengthen UNIFIL’s mandate to give it the right to patrol the villages freely.

“Hizbullah is moving into every town that it can,” a senior defense official told the Post. “This is in order to evade UNIFIL detection.”

On Thursday, Lebanese complained they were receiving recorded phone messages from Israel promising “harsh retaliation” for any future Hizbullah attack. The automated messages also warn against allowing Hizbullah to form “a state within a state” in the country.

The phone messages end with the words: “The State of Israel.”

There was no immediate confirmation from Israel, though similar reports surfaced of Israeli phone campaigns during the 2006 war trying to persuade Lebanese not to support Hizbullah.

Lebanon’s official National News Agency said residents in the country’s south and east, as well as in Beirut reporting receiving the calls. It said Telecommunications Minister Jibran Bassil contacted the United Nations to complain, calling it a “flagrant aggression against Lebanese sovereignty.”

Also Thursday, defense officials warned that with the prisoner swap completed, Hizbullah would no longer need to restrain itself and might decide to avenge the assassination of the group’s operations chief, Imad Mughniyeh, who was killed by a car bomb in Damascus last February.

As a result, the IDF has slightly increased its level of alert along the border, based on the assessment that even if a retaliatory attack took place abroad the violence would spread to the Israeli-Lebanese border.

Hizballah has marked the conclusion of the prisoner exchange with Israel by launching new tactics consisting of anti-air missile ambushes against Israeli Air Force flights over Lebanon and anti-ship missiles against Israel naval craft cruising off its shores.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that Hizballah has taken charge of the missile campaign while handing the Lebanese national army the task of attacking Israeli outposts at the Shaaba Farms enclave and the Mt. Dov slopes of the Hermon range.

It was clear Wednesday, July 16, that Hizballah was now calling the shots in Beirut when the president and government were forced to honor the spectacular heroes’ welcome the Shiite group organized for the five imprisoned terrorists released by Israel.

Skimming 6-7 meters above the water’s surface, these missiles have certain cruise features and are extremely hard to target.

The coastal missile deployment has been boosted by new radar stations and light reconnaissance planes and helicopters for tracking the naval craft cruising opposite the Lebanese coast. The thousands of Hizballah militiamen manning the system were trained in Iran and Syria.

The doctrines of the Word, after the completion of the New Testament, were quite sufficient to understand the truth concerning salvation of the soul, security of the believer, baptism, the church, the Lord’s Supper, and other elements of the faith. Of course, everything in the Bible is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and certainly that is also true with prophecy, but the truth of it consists of an unveiling of what it means with the passage of time, and the unfulfilled portions of it become clearer as the first parts are actually fulfilled. The statement, “Jesus is coming back one

day in the future” is doctrinal truth. But the statement, “Jesus is likely to return before 2020 is opinion.”

The word translated as “revelation” means “to uncover,” “to unveil,” “to expose.” When some famous icon is slowly unveiled, the surer a person will be of its identification before the last tiny bit of it is exposed to view. The same is generally true with Bible prophecy. As God exposes more of the truth by fulfilled prophetic events, the better we can understand how the other pieces of the puzzle will fit,

based on that which has just been fulfilled. So, in some cases where I goofed on what a prophecy meant when I saw it actually come to pass, I went back and put it in the right part of the puzzle, and it made me see much more clearly why I was wrong, and how some other parts would now properly fit.

As we draw closer to the end of Daniel’s prophecies of the events of the end of the Age of the Gentiles, it is not only the time of man’s fantastic increase in scientific expertise that has expanded, but his understanding of the correct interpretation of prophetic Scriptures as his knowledge is enhanced by the fulfillment of it. I am of the opinion that the words, once “closed up and sealed till the time of the end,” are presently being opened and unsealed in the day to day activities occurring in the Middle East.

Daniel 12:4-9 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

[5] Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. [6] And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? [7] And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

[8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? [9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel 12:7 – And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

A time equals one year, times equals two years, and half a time equals ½ year, each year being 360 days in length, for a total of 1260 days.

The “time, times, and a half” represent the last three and one half years of the Tribulation Period when the forces of the Islamic Antichrist drive south into Israel. It ends the mystery of the Age of the Gentiles when it closes. I believe the Daniel 12 angel is the same angel in Revelation 10.

Revelation 10:5-7 – And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, [6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: [7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

IRAN HAS the motivation to destroy Israel, and if it is allowed to gain nuclear weapons it will not need an excuse to do so. That motivation is a double one: messianic Shi’ite and expansionist-imperial.

Since the late ninth century, the Shi’ites have been expecting the emergence of the hidden imam-mahdi, armed with divine power and followed by thousands of martyrdom-seeking warriors. He is expected to conquer the world and establish Shi’ism as its supreme religion and system of rule.

His appearance would involve terrible war and unusual bloodshed.

Ahmadinejad, as mayor of Teheran, built a spectacular boulevard through which the mahdi would enter into the capital. There is no question that Ahmadinejad believes he has been chosen to be the herald of the mahdi.

Shi’ite Islam differs from Sunni Islam regarding the identity of the mahdi. The Sunni mahdi is essentially an anonymous figure; the Shi’ite mahdi is a divinely inspired person with a real identity.

However both Shi’ites and Sunnis share one particular detail about “the coming of the hour” and the dawning of messianic times: The Jews must all suffer a violent death, to the last one.

Both Shi’ites and Sunnis quote the famous hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad: The last hour will not come unless the Muslims fight against the Jews, and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and the stone or the tree would say: “Muslim! Servant of Allah! Here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him!”

Not one Friday passes without this hadith being quoted in sermons from one side of the Islamic world to the other.

Shi’ism regards the Jews as an embodiment of filth and the contaminating source of ritual impurity – which adds another religious justification to the Muslims to rid themselves of the Jews and their state. Iran threatens that it has the ability to do so with its ballistic missiles and the readily available services of local proxies who would love to join the general effort to kill the Jews.

THE OTHER side of Iran’s motivation to destroy Israel is the imperial one.

Iran has the same virus inherent in every totalitarian power – to gain imperial dominion. Totalitarian Iran wants to recreate its empire east of the Mediterranean. The leaders of modern Iran, long before the present Islamic regime, toyed with the idea of reviving the empire of Cyrus and Darius.

The present Islamic regime has the same aspirations.

Nuclear power is necessary to achieve this desire. As fantastic as it sounds, the destruction of the State of Israel seems necessary for the expansion to the east Mediterranean (which might include the elimination of a few Sunni entities such as Saudi Arabia and some Gulf states).
