Land of Magog Determined to Retake Middle East Leadership!

The former Soviet Union at one time had more influence in the Middle East than the United States, but the collapse of the Soviet economy led to the massive breakup of the Union, and soon Russia stood alone. The land of Magog, Russia, has been making quite a comeback in the last four years, and seems determined to wrest Middle East leadership away from America, while stopping Iran from doing the same.

Ezekiel 38:1,2 – And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [2] Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal,

and prophesy against him,

Ezekiel is told to set his face against Gog, who is the chief prince of the area where the descendants of Meshech and Tubal were settled in 600 B.C. Additionally, Ezekiel is told to set his face against “the land of Magog.”

In verses 3 through 6 Ezekiel lists the 600 B.C. ancestors and lands of the peoples who will soon attack Israel to begin the last three and one-half years of the great tribulation period.

They were Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, and Togarmah. PLEASE NOTE THE LAND OF MAGOG IS NOT LISTED AMONG THEM. Magog does not come down to attack Israel until near the end of the tribulation period at the final battle of Armageddon.

Ezekiel 38:3-6 – And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: [4] And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them

clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: [5] Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: [6] Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Flavius Josephus says, concerning Magog and the land of Magog, in the writings of Genesis 10 and Ezekiel 38: “Magog founded those that from him were called Magogites, but who are by the Greeks called Scythians”

The Magogites or Scythians were settled mostly in what we identify as Russia.

I do not believe the Russian Magogites will come down against Israel until invited to come down to the battle pf Armageddon by the Antichrist, who is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

‘Russia set on Mideast parley, whether Israel likes it or not’

Russia is determined to go ahead with an international Middle East conference in Moscow in June whether Israel likes it or not, government sources told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday, summing up Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit here last week.

The sources characterized Lavrov’s one-day visit last Thursday as “nasty,” saying the Russian minister was agitated throughout his meetings with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and President Shimon Peres. He was, the sources said, in a slightly better mood during his talks with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

According to the sources, Russia’s determination to go ahead with the conference – despite a decidedly cool, though officially noncommittal, reception to the idea from both Israel and the US – stemmed from Moscow’s assessment that it desperately needed to increase its involvement in the Middle East and “make its mark” in the region. The reason the Kremlin wanted to get more involved right now, according to the officials in Jerusalem, was not because of a fear they were being outmaneuvered in the region by the US, but rather because Moscow felt it was losing ground to Iran.

According to the government sources, Moscow viewed Hamas’s takeover of Gaza as benefiting Iran, Hizbullah’s strong position in Lebanon as strengthening Iran, and the situation in Iraq as playing into Iran’s hands. As a result, Moscow wants to dramatically increase its role and influence in the region.

“They are afraid of Iran’s strides here,” one official said.

According to the source, a nuclear cooperation deal Russia signed with Egypt during Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s visit to Russia on Tuesday was also aimed at gaining influence in the region. Moscow, according to Israeli officials, saw arms sales and nuclear technology as a way to once again assert its presence and gain leverage in the Middle East, as it had during the period of the Soviet Union. Israel was noncommittal to the conference idea throughout Lavrov’s visit, with Olmert refraining from publicly coming out either for or against the proposal. The sense in Jerusalem is that if what is planned is an international conference along the lines of the Annapolis Conference, where other Arab countries would reaffirm support for a Palestinian-Israeli agreement, then that is something Israel could go along with, although not with great enthusiasm.

If, however, the idea was to hold Israeli-Palestinian bilateral negotiations in Moscow, that is something Jerusalem was not keen on.

In general, Israel believes that an international conference is unnecessary at a time when bilateral Israeli-Palestinian negotiations are taking place.

Lavrov, speaking to the press last Thursday night after meeting with Livni, said the agenda of the Moscow conference “will be very simple.

Let us reaffirm that support and stimulate the parties toward their effective realization.” […..]

Israel has made clear that Syria would have to stop supporting Hizbullah and Hamas, kick the terrorist organizations out of Damascus, and pull away from its cozy embrace with Iran for there to be a possible peace deal.

“The Russians understand our position on this,” one government official said.

The official said Lavrov’s “testiness” while here may have had something to do with his own uncertainty over whether he would continue on as Russia’s foreign minister when Dmitry Medvedev takes over from President Vladimir Putin in May.

What a Choice – Obama or Clinton!

I would imagine that after the November election, if Hillary or Obama happen to become the next President, by the end of their first term, the nation will be lamenting their choice of a President much as the choice of a wife made by the singer of the old country and western song, “Good Night, Irene.” I hope I have the right song linked with the right lyrics, but as I recall, it went something like this: “Last Saturday night I got married – Me and my wife settled down – Now me and my wife are parted – ‘Gonna’ take another stroll downtown – Good night, Irene, Good night, Irene – Good Night, Irene, Good Night, Irene, I’ll see you in my dreams!

I might add that once either one of these two get into office, our dreams of them will be nightmares. However, in all fairness to both of them, no matter who is elected as our next President, his or her term will be the mother of all nightmares for America.

From a prophetic standpoint, my carnal man is dreading it, but my spiritual man is very anxious for it to begin. I would say during the term of our next president, the words of II Timothy would come to full fruition, just as they did in Isaiah’s day.

II Timothy 3:1-7 – This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, [7] Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Isaiah 5:20 – Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Obama advisor: US Jews hinder peace

More trouble for presidential hopeful: Inquiry by conservative US media outlets reveals that Obama advisor Merrill ‘Tony’ McPeak is a longtime anti-Israel critic who slammed American Jews for acting against US interests

WASHINGTON – General Merrill “Tony” McPeak, Senator Barack Obama’s military advisor and co-chair of his presidential campaign is a longtime anti-Israeli critic who has slammed Israel harshly during his career, according to an inquiry by conservative American media outlets.

McPeak, who served as the chief of staff o the US Air Force before retiring in 1994, made headlines over the past week after accusing former President Bill Clinton of McCarthyism. Yet as it turns out, over the years he has criticized Israel for failing to withdraw to the 1967 borders and charged American Jews were preventing American pressure that would lead to a Mideast peace agreement.

The examination of McPeak’s career, undertaken by conservative magazine American Spectator among others, revealed that the general adopted a harsh anti-Israeli line in interviews he submitted to and articles he published. According to the magazine, beyond his affinity for alcohol, which saw him detained for drunk driving a year ago, McPeak also appears to take great pleasure in slamming Israel and pro-Israel Jews.

‘Large vote in favor of Israel’

In an interview with The Oregonion about five years ago, McPeak argued that the influence exerted by American Jews is responsible for the lack of progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

According to the general the problem was New York and Miami.

“We have a large vote here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it,” he said.

In the same interview, McPeak spoke of his personal experience with Israel.

“I’ve spent a lot of time in Israel, worked at one time very closely with the Israeli Air Force as a junior officer,” he said, “but that’s maybe the more cosmopolitan, liberal version of the Israeli population.”

McPeak also charged that Jews and Christian Zionists manipulated American foreign policy in Iraq.

“Let’s say that one of your abiding concerns is the security of Israel as opposed to a purely American self-interest, then it would make sense to build a dozen or so bases in Iraq,” he said.

‘Disturbing canard’

Following the latest revelations, the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) called on Obama to remove McPeak as his military advisor and national campaign co-chairman.

“By choosing to have a military advisor and national campaign co-chairman like General McPeak, serious questions and doubts are once again being raised about Senator Obama’s positions and judgment on Middle East issues,” said RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks.

“Rather than putting the blame where it belongs – on the Palestinian leadership and their continued reliance on terror, General McPeak finds it more convenient to blame American Jewry and their perceived influence,” said Brooks. “This is the same dangerous and disturbing canard being promoted by the likes of Jimmy Carter and authors Mearsheimer and Walt in their book, The Israel Lobby.”

“Senator Obama continues to surround himself with advisors holding troubling and disturbing anti-Israel bias,” Brooks said. “We call on Senator Obama to immediately remove General McPeak from his campaign leadership role and as a key advisor.”

Jewish intellectuals blinded by Obama-mania, fail to see his flaws

The paralysis that overcame American Jewry in the face of the Barack Obama phenomenon is pitiful and prompts sad thoughts. Obama himself is clear of any trace of anti-Semitism and has been voicing very pro-Israeli positions throughout his campaign. Yet he grew up, was educated, and internalized values in an environment that is hostile to the Jews and to Israel – and also to America, as it turns out.

About two months ago already, starting with political blogs, stories were published that detailed the hateful anti-Israel sermons delivered by Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor in Chicago. And he is not just a pastor: Wright is the closest person to Obama, as the candidate himself admitted in his books. He is his spiritual father, his guide, his model.

Wright’s extreme anti-Semitic words have been well documented, yet the vast majority of Jews preferred to ignore them. Obama supporters in the Jewish business community did not demand that he sever his ties with Wright. Here and there we saw

weak articles of reservations that were nonetheless filled with words of flattery.

American Jewish intellectuals continued to keep their sense of criticism paralyzed.

Then someone uploaded a video clip to YouTube that shows Pastor Wright cursing not only the Jews, but also America itself, calling on God to destroy it, and with a theatrical voice and hand gestures charging that the American government spread the AIDS virus in order to kill blacks and planned the September 11 attacks itself.

Obama rushed to respond only after these horrifying sermons became publicly available. In a lengthy speech that was already designated as one of history’s greatest speeches by some American journalists (mostly Jews,) Obama presented his defense of, or at least a sophisticated understanding to, Pastor Wright.

To that end, Obama used three infamous demagogical arguments, starting with the reasoning of victimization and discrimination.

Wright’s “comments were not only wrong but divisive” and “expressed a profoundly distorted view of this country “Obama said, yet at the same time they also reflected the honest fury of blacks in America, who have been the victims of discrimination for hundreds of years.

Authentic representative of black minority

The second line of reasoning was about character: Pastor Wright, Obama said, is a man of noble character, warm, embracing, and people-loving. He has some opinions that are wrong (Obama did not detail which opinions those are) yet Wright himself should not be disqualified. Actually, he is one of us.

In his third and decisive line of reasoning, Obama admitted that “I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community.

I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street.” That is, the grandmother who is secretly scared of black men was presented by Obama as the moral equivalent of the pastor who openly preaches hatred for Israel and America’s destruction, and both “these people are a part of me…they are a part of America, this country that I love.”

s speech he did not bluff or beat around the bush. He did not try to make things look pretty, but rather, he drew on his persuasion skills in order to respond to the question of why he did not disown and is not disowning Pastor Wright: Because he views the pastor as an au

thentic representative of the black minority in America and a moral pillar of fire. He’s a little flawed, a little wrong, a little extreme, yet he is still a model.

Barack Obama is a smart, deep man who understands the soul of his voters, and he may become a president who surprises us for the better, even though his political inexperience is very worrying. However, I am much more concerned about his enthused fans, ranging from screaming college girls to the self-depreciating Jewish intellectuals.

Their eyes have been blinded to see their new hero, the “sun of the nations,” as he is: Filled with stains.

I cannot believe the mentality of the Israeli government would ever go down to such a level it would do as this article from Haaratz suggests, but many strange things have happened in the current administration.

My prophetic interest in Israel has always been directed toward a hope of actions in the Middle East that would give assurance the events which would lead to the final war were rapidly approaching. Any sort of a peace arrangement with Syria would certainly be the greatest event of my lifetime, because it would assure fulfillment of the Scriptures, which follow, was at our very doorsteps.

You don’t h ave to be

a strategic expert to see that the Annapolis initiative is dying. The hopes of President Bush and Ehud Olmert that the foundations for an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians could be laid by the end of 2008 have gone up in smoke. The Palestinians have demonstrated yet again their knack for never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Their leaders are divided into goodies and baddies. The goodies are prepared to talk to us about a peace agreement, but they are too weak to reach any kind of accord in the name of the Palestinian people. The baddies just want us dead.

Toward that end, they are linked up to the axis of evil – to Iran, Hezbollah and all the countries and groups that embrace raging Islamic fundamentalism.

Under the circumstances, we have two options: We can sit and twiddle our thumbs, which means wasting precious time, or we can launch a new political initiative – talks with Syria.

Now, as countries in this region are growing weaker, and the terror organizations are growing stronger and working toward the delegitimization of Israel as a state that has no right to exist, it is vital to cut Syria’s links with Iran, Hezbollah and the terrorist groups it is harboring.

After four years of study, Dan Meridor, who headed a committee established by Ariel Sharon and Shaul Mofaz and charged with drafting Israel’s national security policy, concluded that Menachem Begin’s decision to make peace with Egypt, Israel’s strongest and most bitter foe, was a historic move. After that, Yitzhak Rabin signed a peace treaty with Jordan, the second of the five countries that attacked Israel in 1948. These peace agreements have endured for many years, recognized and backed by the United States and Europe, and created an enclave of sanity and stability in the region.

At a time when ill winds seem to be blowing from the north, the possibility of bringing Syria into the circle of peace is a particularly calming prospect. According to Meridor, Syria has lost its luster in the eyes of its Arab neighbors. Since the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, the moderate Islamic countries, worried that the international tribunal in the Hague will find Bashar Assad guilty, have been giving Syria the cold shoulder. When foreign sources reported that a Syrian installation had been blown up by Israel, wonder of wonders, no Arab country seemed to have a problem with that.

Given Syria’s current state of isolation, with its Arab brothers in a huff and a boycott imposed on it by America, the time is ripe for Israel to invite it to join the good guys and urge the Bush administration, or the next one in line, to support an initiative for dialogue between the two countries.

Assad the father was not an easy client at the negotiating table, and the same is true for Assad the son.

But 35 years of agreements on the Syrian front have taught us that the Syrians honor their commitments. At a special cabinet meeting two weeks ago, IDF military intelligence estimated that Syria could be separated from the “axis of evil,” especially if America pitched in.

Syria’s alliance with Iran is not a natural one. Since the return of Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, Iran’s goal has been to topple the traditional regimes in the region, of which Syria is one, and install religious clerics. Over the years, there have been contacts, and even talks, between Damascus and Jerusalem. Kissinger, Clinton, Netanyahu and Barak met with the Syrians and talked to them.

But Assad Senior – whose long lectures would leave his listeners with bursting bladders – was a stubborn leader. Always cognizant of being a member of Syria’ s Alawite minority, he wa

s a stickler for detail. Not only did he demand the return of all territory, but everything had to be exactly as it was before, including the right of Syrian soldiers to dip their toes in the Kinneret.

Assad Junior, supposedly a man of the world, is on our wavelength. Ehud Barak and the defense establishment believe we need to talk to the Syrians for a number of reasons. At the top of the list is establishing internationally recognized borders for the State of Israel, thereby putting an official end to the non-recognition of Israel’s existence.

An agreement with Syria would strategically change the picture in this region: It would isolate Iran, neutralize the headquarters of the terrorist organizations and strengthen the moderate Islamic regimes.

Unlike the Palestinian leadership at the moment, the Syrians, in their bid for international acceptance, are capable of delivering the goods.

But only if Israel realizes that secure and recognized borders come with a price tag, a hefty one, but worth it for peace – the Golan Heights.

TWO REVELATION BEASTS ARE ISLAMIC!

The date of John’s writing of Revelation has been placed by most at some point in time between 79 and 100 A.D., so it would be safe to say the Islamic Prophet Muhammad wrote the Koran more than 500 years after Revelation was completed. By 750 A.D. the Islamic Umayyad Caliphate or Empire had expanded out of Mecca and Medina to extend into, or to engulf, the territories now occupied by France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and India. Eventually the last Caliphate, the old Ottoman Empire, engulfed most of southeastern Europe, but then died as “the old sick man of Europe.” I believe we are watching the revival of Islam in the Jihad movement.

I believe the seventh and eighth empires of the Antichrist are the same in that both are Islamic.

I believe the seventh is now reviving from the grave of an old Islamic Caliphate, which will become the eighth when its ruler is directly empowered by the Devil himself.

The Antichrist’s Caliphate will cover more area than did each individual Empire of the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Grecians, and Romans. It’s now arising as the seventh empire, and will reach its maximum size as the eighth, and last, empire before the Second Advent.

Daniel 7:20,21 – And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. [21] I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Daniel 7:24,25 – And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. [25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Daniel was writing in the days of the Babylonian Empire, so he began his prophecies with that Empire, which was represented by a lion. His second beast was represented by a bear, his third by a leopard, and his fourth different from any beast he had ever seen. More than 600 years later when John wrote Revelation, he only referred back to the beast of Daniel’s day and the two which followed it, because he was writing in the day of Daniel’s fourth beast, the Roman Empire. But John did reach back and add two empires before Daniel, which were not referred to by Daniel, namely, the Egyptian and Assyrian Empires. They were not symbolized as beasts by Daniel, but are symbolized as two of the seven heads on John’s two beasts in Revelation 13 and 17. The seventh head represents the two beasts in Revelation in two phases of their existence, as a beast with no wound, and as the same beast with a deadly wound that returns to life.

Revelation 13:1-3 – And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. [2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. [3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

When John wrote the Book of Revelation, six great heads (mountains, governments, or empires) had ruled over Israel and large tracts of land settled by the descendants of Abraham through his seven sons, Ishmael, Isaac, and his six sons by Keturah. The six were the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, and Roman Empires. The Empires and their Kings represent the first six heads on the two Revelation beasts.

The heads themselves are beasts in that they are representative of seven beast empires that were, are, or would, affect and afflict Israel from the day God brought her out of Egyptian bondage.

John was writing during the time of the sixth beast, the Roman Empire (Daniel’s fourth beast). The seventh beast head is extended from a great Islamic (Caliphate) and its Kings (Caliphs) which first came into existence more than 500 years after John wrote Revelation. The eighth head will be revived from the ashes of the seventh head, which is the extension from a Caliphate that came into power after the death of Muhammad, and rivaled that of any Empire existing up to that time. But it died under the Ottoman Turks. The seventh and eighth heads are Islamic and they both have the same king, who is also Islamic. I strongly suspect the Antichrist may seem to return from the dead to produce a counterfeit resurrection to replicate that of Christ. He might even claim to the 12th Imam of Islam returned from the dead.

Revelation 17:8-13 – The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. [9] And here is the mind which hath wisdom.

The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. [10] And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. [11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. [12] And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

[13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Revelation 17:17 – For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

KINGDOMS RESTORED ON TRUMPET NR 7!

Christ returns in the clouds to catch out believers from all the kingdoms of the earth when the last trumpet, the seventh trumpet in a series, sounds.

They are all carried before his judgment seat in heaven. It will mark the first time in history all believers are in heaven, and all unbelievers

are on earth. The Devil is dispossessed officially as the god of this world, and is about to experience the wrath of God along with the unbelievers.

The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever. Believing mankind, after being judged in heaven, is to return to the earth and to serve Christ as he reigns over the kingdoms of this world he has reclaimed for man, who lost it to the serpent in the Garden of Eden.

Revelation 11:15 –And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

II Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Revelation 11:18 – And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

While the believers of all ages are being judged in heaven, after being caught out from the kingdoms of this world, God’s wrath will be destroying the flesh of most of the unbelievers left on the earth by a pouring out by angels of his seven vials of wrath. The vast major of them will not repent.

Revelation 16:1,2 & 8-11 – And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. [2] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them

which worshipped his image. [8] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. [9] And men were scorched with great heat and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. [10] And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, [11] And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

During the pouring out of the vials of wrath it will be as described by Matthew 24;21,22 and Daniel 12:1 and, while most will not repent and believe, it appears an elect Jewish remnant will do so during the time of the vials, and a nation will be reborn spiritually in a day in the Negev wilderness.

Matthew 24:21,22 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Daniel 12:1 – And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Malachi 3:16 to 4:3 – Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. [17] And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. [18] Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. [1] For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Isaiah 2:1-5 – The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. [2] And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

[3] And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. [4] And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Zawahiri’s Triple Satanic Pact!

Zawahiri’s pick of Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia represent three of the four nations on my list as the most likely Arab countries to have their kings (rulers) subdued by the eleventh horn on Daniel’s Chapter seven beast. They will fall before him and become part of Antichrist’s Caliphate Empire after he drives Israel into the Negev Wilderness. The Caliphate will cover more territory than that of the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian, Roman, or first Islamic Empires. It will rise from the ashes of

the first Islamic empire, and will reach its maximum size as the eighth, and last, empire before the Second Advent.

Daniel 7:20,21 – And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn

that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. [21] I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Daniel 7:24,25 – And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. [25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Daniel was writing in the days of the Babylonian Empire, so he began his prophecies with that Empire, which was represented by a lion. His second beast was represented by a bear, his third by a leopard, and his fourth different from any beast he had ever seen. More than 600 years later when John wrote Revelation, he only referred back to the beast of Daniel’s day and the two which followed it, because he was writing in the day of Daniel’s fourth beast, the Roman Empire.

But John did reach back and add two empires before Daniel, which were not referred to by Daniel, namely, the Egyptian and Assyrian Empires.

They were not symbolized as beasts by Daniel, but are symbolized as two of the seven heads on John’s two beasts in Revelation 13 and 17.

Things are heating up again in the Middle East, as they often do, and Islamic radicals are converting more and more moderates to their way of thinking. I don’t believe we have long to wait to see what the correct interpretations of Scriptures really were, but in the meantime we are to study to show ourselves approved unto God and WATCH!

Zawahiri calls for attacks on Israel

“Israel and additional Western targets must be attacked as revenge for Israel’s aggressive policy in the Gaza Strip,” Osama bin Laden’s deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri said in a recording released by an al-Qaida-affiliated Web site

on Sunday night, several days after bin Laden himself called on Palestinians to “suspend all negotiations with Israel and start a Jihad war to liberate Palestine.”

“Muslims, this is our day,” Zawahiri said. “Strike the interests of Jews and Americans, and all those who wield aggression against the Muslims. Today no one can say that we are battling the Jews in Palestine alone.”

In discussing the IDF operations in the Gaza Strip, Zawahiri asserted that it wasn’t enough to support the Palestinians by holding solidarity rallies.

“We must concentrate on the armed struggle,” he said. “Let them understand that they will bleed for every dollar that they spent to kill Muslims.”

Zawahiri lambasted the leaders of several Arab states, who he claimed were complicit with Israel in the blockade of the Gaza Strip, calling the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia “part of a satanic pact.”

“This satanic pact reveals to us its ugliness and baseness…They allowed Israel to carry out aerial raids in the Gaza Strip on a regular basis, and swore to bring an end to rocket fire on Israel,” Zawahiri charged.

Like bin Laden, the al-Qaeda second in command issued a threat against those countries in which cartoons of Muhammad were published, saying that “They cannot insult our prophet and support Israel and then expect to live in peace in the countries.”
