The West Bank and Gaza Strip will be like two balloons submerged in a water tank when the initial attack by the 10 Islamic horns of Daniel and Revelation finally comes against Israel from the north.

The contents of the balloons, were they to burst under water, would initially go quickly outward in all directions before it headed upward. Such will be the case when the contents of the West Bank and Gaza Strip blast out to join the attacking Islamic forces.

In the attack, which I guesstimate to most likely occur at a point in time between 2010 and 2015, millions of the fanatical followers of Allah are going to flood southward along the narrow western coastline of Israel, and the valley floor between the bluffs of Israel’s central mountains and the Jordan River. In a pre-planned coordinated attack, the Palestinians will blast outward in all directions through many gaps they are creating in the West Bank Security Wall, with the intension to join their Islamic comrades in their southward plunge toward Jerusalem.

Palestinian forces in the Gaza Strip will crash through the Security Barrier in mass on the Israeli side, then proceed east toward Jerusalem to attack it from the west, while the Islamic forces moving south down the Jordan collect more Palestinians crossing out of Jordan into Jericho, and then attack Jerusalem from the west. Jerusalem will fall to Islam, and the city will then remain under Islamic control for 42 prophetic months or three and one-half prophetic years or 1260 days or times, time, and the dividing of time.

The numbers of Palestinian forces inside the West Bank and Gaza Strip are increasing as the population increases.

Palestinians grow by a million in decade

The Palestinian population in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem has reached 3.76 million, up from 2.89 million a decade ago, according to census results released Saturday.

Only 208,000 Palestinians were counted in east Jerusalem, which is sought by the Palestinians as a future capital, said Luay Shabaneh, head of the Palestinian Central Statistics Bureau.

The unexpectedly low figure for east Jerusalem – it fell even below an estimate of 210,000 in the 1997 census – was immediately challenged by Palestinian politicians. In 1997, census-takers were barred by Israel from going door-to-door and based their result on projections. This time, census volunteers conducted an actual count, working discretely to avoid confrontations with Israeli authorities, Shabaneh said.

However, Hatem Abdel Kader, an adviser on Jerusalem affairs to Palestinian Prime Minister Salaam Fayad, said he didn’t believe the Jerusalem figures

were reliable. “We doubt these numbers,” he said, adding that he believes many Jerusalem homes were not visited by census-takers.

In early December, some 6,200 census-takers fanned out across the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem, going house to house to collect information.

Palestinians have one of the highest birth rates in the world. In September 2007, Israel’s population included 5.45 million Jews, 1.4 million Arabs and 310,000 others, according to Israeli government figures.

Presenting the census results at a news conference, Shabaneh said that Palestinian population growth remains high, but as leveled off somewhat. Pre-census projections had predicted a population of 3.9 million.

According to actual results, 3.76 Palestinians live in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem, the territories the Palestinians want for a future state. That includes 2.345 million in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, and 1.416 million in Gaza, Shabaneh said.

Al-Hariri points finger at Iran and Syria

Beirut – The leader of Lebanon’s pro-Western majority in parliament said on Thursday the country was in direct confrontation with Syria and Iran, which back the Hezbollah opposition group in its conflict with the Beirut government.

Saad al-Hariri, whose coalition is supported by the United States, said Syria and Iran and “their local tools” were seeking to “impose a terror, security and political siege” on Lebanon.

“If our fate is confrontation, then we are for it,” he said.

The speech, including rare criticism of Iran, reflected increased tension between the coalition and the opposition, which appeared far from resolving Lebanon’s worst political conflict since the 1975-90 civil war.

Former prime minister Rafik al-Hariri was killed by a truck bomb on February 14, 2005. Hariri and his allies have accused Syria of the killing and subsequent assassinations of anti-Syrian figures. Damascus denies the allegations.

, blogs and small papers, he is accused of spying for Israel for 34 years. His controller is named as Lt. Col. Aharon Goldbard. The Syrian sources try to pin on them both the intrigue to murder former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri three years ago.

Damascus also sees Mossad machinations in the Syrian army.

Defense minister Gen. Hassan Turkemeni has told army officers to beware because, “The Mossad has been able to penetrate the officer elite with gifts

of satellite tetephones linked to Israeli spy satellites.

DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources report: The Assad regime has been maneuvering desperately to discredit the Lebanese prime minister for approving an international tribunal to prosecute the plotters of the Hariri murder, suspicions of which reach high up in the Damascus regime.

To lend verisimilitude to their allegations, Syrian military intelligence embellishes them with details. The Siniora-Mossad conspiracy is said to have been uncovered when Syrian agents identified the Lebanese prime minister’s purported controller as Col. Godlbard, who is said to have served the Mossad from 1970 to 1989 as a headhunter for agents in Lebanon.

He is described as entering Lebanon with a French passport No.

The Israeli colonel is described as having first got together with Siniora at a Mt. Lebanon venue in 1974.

After he was recruited, the story runs, the Lebanese politician traveled to Greece, was flown secretly to Israel and underwent training at a special Mossad facility for senior agents. He has since become one of the most important intelligence assets Israel has ever acquired in the Arab world, according to the Syrian sources.

In 1977, Siniora was back in Israel for another special training stint, say the sources, after which he began meeting Israeli officers in Paris to deliver updates and receive new orders and missions.

The next part of the tale gives the game away.

The Syrian sources cite “Prof. Eliahu ben Simon” who is said to have interviewed Goldbard [where?] and learned that the purported Mossad agent was present in Beirut at the time of the Hariri assassintion in Feb.

2005 and personally involved in the crime. Asked to explain, the Israeli colonel is quoted as admitting that it was he who tipped the killers on the exact time of the Hariri convoy’s departure and the moment he would pass the spot on the road under which the fatal bomb was planted.

This “revelation” is meant to demonstrate that Goldbard was free to move around Beirut because he enjoyed Siniora’s protection. Therefore, the Israeli agent abetted by Siniora, a close friend of Hariri bore responsibility for

the assassination, as Mossad tools – not Syrian militlary intelligence.

As for the second tale Damascus is disseminating against Israeli intelligence, DEBKAfile’s sources have seen the memo which the Syrian defense minister circulated this month, under the heading: The Syrian Army-General Staff, Operations Director. Top Secret. For Immediate Attention. Officers Only.

Gen. Turkemany “reveals” that the Israeli Mossad director Meir Dagan recently visited Irbil, capital of autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan, and stayed at the private, fortified guesthouse of Kurdistan’s prime minister Nechirvan Barzani, son of President Massoud Barzani.

There, he is alleged to have briefed Kurdish agents operating undercover in Syria on methods for delivering satellite cellphones to Syrian elite officers through Kurdish members

of the Syrian armed forces. The phones contained chips which route their conversations via Israel spy satellites.

The spy phones quickly reached their destinations and, according to the Syrian chief of staff, have been recovered from officers serving in Syrian air defense units, commanders of military air facilities and heads of the Syrian arms industry.

DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources report that this allegation has aroused fears among Kurdish officers serving in the Syrian army that it will be used as a pretext to purge them.

For centuries after the Jews were driven out of Jerusalem by Titus and Hadrian between 70 and 135 A.D., the prophetic buffs have made the Caesars of Rome, Muhammad, Napoleon, the Kaiser, Hitler, Japan’s Emperor, Mussolini, and many others, the Antichrist. Iran: World Should Abandon ‘Filthy Zionist Entity’

(IsraelNN.com) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called on the world to come to terms with the demise of the “filthy” Jewish state.

Ahmadinejad made his latest statements in a speech given in the southern Iranian town of Bushehr, where Iran’s first light-water nuclear reactor is being built by Russia. The speech was broadcast live on Iran’s state-run television.

He addressed world nations, advising them to “abandon the filthy Zionist entity which has reached the end of the line.”

Seeming to search for various synonyms to remove doubt sown by apologists that question the translation of his call to erase Israel “off the map,” the Persian leader said: “[Israel] has lost its reason to exist and will sooner or later fall.

The ones who still support the criminal Zionists should know that the occupiers’ days are numbered…Accept that the life of the Zionists will sooner or later come to an end.”

Ahmadinejad said that the “final chapter” has begun in which the Arabs of Israel, together with “regional nations” will confront Israel and bring about “Palestine.”

In the same speech, Ahmadinejad declared that nothing will stop his nation from pursuing nuclear capabilities. “[Iranians] will not back down one iota in defense of their rights,” he said. “The nuclear issue was the most important challenge since the revolution but with the help of G-d and your resistance, it is ending in favor of the Iranian nation.”

“I am addressing leaders of two or three powers,” Ahamdinejad said, who invited other nations to assist Iran in becoming a nuclear power. “Do you remember I sent you a message and told you to stop be stubborn

? If you think that you can block the movement of the Iranian nation, you are wrong…If you will not come, this nation will build nuclear plants based on its own resources and when you come some four years later it will reject your request and not then give you any opportunity.”

Iranian Energy Commission chairman Kamal Daneshyar announced Wednesday that his nation plans to operate 20 nuclear facilities in the coming years.

Last week, Germany marked the 75th anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s rise to power, on January 30, 1933. Last week, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad promised that Iran would produce nuclear energy within a year and that Israel would soon collapse. As Hitler justified rearmament to combat the “Zionist Marxist” menace of communism, Ahmadinejad links Iran’s nuclear ambitions to what he calls “the filthy Zionist entity.”

Ahmadinejad has spoken of the need to “wipe Israel off the map.” It’s hard to see how talk like this fails to qualify as a violation of the UN Charter, Article 2, which prohibits member states from threatening the “territorial integrity or political independence” of any state.

Yet no UN or EU diplomats have ever suggested that the principles of the Charter be applied to Iran.

Since the Iranian president’s arrival, Iran has been ignoring UN Security Council resolutions to stop its nuclear program. We know that hostility to the West and a violent, apocalyptic vision of Islam have become interwoven in Tehran. We know that political opponents are tortured in prisons run by the Revolutionary Guards, and that free speech and peaceful assembly are fictions. Understanding the Gospel According to Huckabee

All Things Considered, February 8, 2008 • If you heard Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’s victory speech on Super Tuesday, you may have noticed him speaking in what is almost a separate dialect. Some listeners have even asked us what he was talking about.

So NPR headed off to the National Mall in search of people who understood Huckabee’s biblical allusions.

It proved almost as hard as getting a camel through the eye of a needle.

We started by recounting this story: In November, as Huckabee surged in the polls, a student at Liberty University asked him what was driving his startling success. Huckabee responded, “It’s the same power that helped a little boy with two fish and five loaves feed a crowd of 5,000 people.”

We played the tape for Leitha Anthony, who was waiting to go into the Washington Monument.

Did she know what he was talking about?

“That’s when Moses … had

to feed all the people, the multitude of people that left Egypt,” Anthony hazarded. “That’s what it was?”

Anthony, who is from Mississippi, was close — the Bible story did involve food — but it was Jesus feeding the hungry crowd. Most of the other people we talked to near the Washington Monument got it wrong, too.

For the next quiz question, we played a clip from Huckabee’s Super Tuesday victory speech:

“Sometimes,” the former Arkansas governor told his supporters, “one small smooth stone is even more effective than a whole lot of armor.”

“Maybe something to do with the war,” guessed Dan Booth, who was visiting from Alabama.

“He’s talking about peace, the resolution of peace?” ventured his friend Mike Allen.

Actually, Huckabee was comparing himself to the shepherd boy David, who slayed the giant Goliath with one smooth stone right

in the forehead.

Only one person knew that one — a disconcerting record as we moved into advanced “Huckabese.” The next clip also came from Tuesday night’s speech:

“We’ve also seen that the widow’s mite has more effectiveness than all the gold in the world.”

We asked Daria Teutonico and Richard Pettit about the widow’s mite as they walked to lunch on Pennsylvania Avenue.

“I have no clue,” was Teutonico’s answer. “I thought a mite was a bug.”

“Is it a spider?” Pettit added. They both laughed.

The widow’s mite actually refers to a poor woman Jesus observed giving a small coin to God. It was all she had.

Like every person we stopped, Teutonico and Pettit were raised in Christian households and had attended Sunday school.

But Boston University professor Stephen Prothero says they’re not alone in being mystified by Huckabee’s rhetoric.

“Half of Americans can’t name any of the four Gospels, and that includes the Christians,” Prothero says. “And half don’t know that Genesis is the first book of the Bible. Those are much easier questions than things like, you know, ‘What’s the loaves and the fishes story?'”

Prothero, who wrote the book Religious Literacy, says Huckabee may think he’s scoring points with his base.

“You could imagine that … this is his secret code way that he could speak to evangelicals without alienating more secular people,” Prothero says. “But the faulty part of that strategy is the evangelicals don’t even necessarily know these stories.”

Finally, we happened upon Vicky Frey. She attends a megachurch of 2,500 people in Omaha, Neb. She got every question right. So she was asked about one more Huckabee quote for the bonus round:

Not only are more missiles flowing daily into Syria, southern Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip, but they are of better quality, variety, and accuracy.
It is no longer a question of IF they will be launched in a massive fiery barrage against Israel, but WHEN the ground assault will begin that accompanies it.

The operators of Syria, Hizbullah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades, who will launch the missile assault, are much better trained as each week passes. They have been, are, and will continue to be trained by specialists from Iran

and Syria.

The longer that Israel waits for the inevitable Islamic attack to occur, the better trained and equipped their enemies on their southwestern and northern borders will be. Israel is trapped in a dilemma. They are damned if they attack their enemies, and damned

if they fail to do so.

Syria upgrades missiles thanks to Iranian support

Syria has successfully developed a new surface-to-surface missile that would enable it to target with greater accuracy Israeli installations – such as airports, ports and factories – according briefings recently presented to senior ministers.

According to the information, Syria developed the new missile with Iranian support, which is further indication of the tight strategic bonds between the two countries. Much of these strategic ties revolve around military and intelligence cooperation.

Israeli defense circles estimate that Damascus and Tehran shared technical know-how that has allowed Syria to upgrade the Iranian-made Zelzal surface-to-surface missile. The missile has an operational r

ange of approximately 250 kilometers and is capable of carrying an especially large warhead. It is believed that the missile is more accurate than other similar surface-to-surface weapons in the Syrian arsenal.

This comes at a time when Israeli defense sources have expressed growing concern at the rearmament program of the Syrian armed forces, mostly with arms transfers from Russia.

Among other weapons, Syria has recently acquired the Pantsyr air defense missile system, which is a self-propelled system capable of firing between eight and 12 missiles, that can pose a substantial threat to Israeli air force aircraft.

Damascus has also procured modern anti-tank missiles with alleged capabilities of neutralizing the most advanced main battle tank of the IDF, the Merkava Mark IV.

However, the head of Mossad, Meir Dagan, told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that at this stage the Syrian defense acquisitions appear to be defensive and that there are no indications that Damascus has any plans to initiate a military action against Israel.

Meanwhile, a political source noted Thursday that there is a discernible effort on the part of Syria to improve its missile arsenal – both in terms of range and accuracy.

“The problem is that their missiles are being transformed from less-effective weapons into precision weapons that will enable their use against military bases, airports and military depots, which is a very worrying development,” the source said.

There is growing concern in Israel that the missile arsenal of Syria will be transformed from being a “blind” strategic weapon, into a precision-strike

weapon.

Syria has a significant missile arsenal. During the Second Lebanon War Hezbollah fired many volleys of 220mm rockets of Syrian make against Israel, causing significant casualties in Israel.

According to Israeli estimates, Syria has tens of thous ands of rockets of this type, as well as smaller-caliber

and shorter-range missiles. In addition, they have Scud-C and Scud-D ballistic missiles with ranges of 500-800 kilometers, which can effectively strike every part of Israeli territory.

22 Kassam rockets strike western Negev

The barrage of Kassam rockets on the western Negev continued on Friday, with Palestinian gunmen claiming responsibility for eight out of the 22 rockets which have hit Israel since early morning.

The Salah-a-Din faction, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, claimed responsibility for three Kassam rockets, and the Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility

for the rest.

Israeli security forces have reported at least 22 rocket strikes on Friday, with at least 12 landing in Sderot, five landing south of Ashkelon, and one striking a green house in the western Negev.

A number of people have been treated for shock as a result of the attacks.

On Thursday, some 20 Kassam rockets pounded the western Negev. One rocket struck a direct hit on a garage adjacent to a home in Sderot, setting it ablaze and sending three people into shock.

Two Kassams landed near a college in the Eshkol region.

No one was wounded and no damage was reported. The other rockets all hit open areas.

Terrorists also fired some 10 mortar shells from the Strip. No one was wounded and no damages were reported.

During a ground operation in Gaza Thursday, the IDF uncovered underground tunnels used to conceal rocket launchers used

to attack Israel, meant to hide the Kassams from IDF surveillance drones.

Israeli security sources said that Palestinians learned this kind of operational know-how from Hizbullah.

The operation targeted rocket crews in Gaza and seven Palestinian militants were killed.

Report: Advanced Weapons Smuggled into Gaza

Palestinian sources confirmed Thursday that many advanced weapons were smuggled into Gaza over the past few weeks when the border between Gaza and Egypt was breached, including RPGs, anti-tank and Katyusha rockets.

“We have been able to bring in the same rockets used by Hizbullah to destroy Israeli tanks in the Lebanon War,” one operative boasted.
