If you check back through all my Blogs over the years, since the rise of Yassar Arafat and the infamous PLO, you will find I have been constant in my belief

of the impossibility of any leader of the PLO, past, present, or future, ever having the power to control the erratic Islamic factions existing inside all the terrorist groups affecting Israel.

It is absolutely impossible.

Schoolchildren met President on his arrival in Israel singing the famous “Wizard of Oz” song, “Somewhere over the Rainbow.” But fantasy and reality are two different things.

Whatever comes out of our President’s honest effort to produce a lasting peace in Israel will only be a fantasy of falsehoods that has no hope of being real or lasting. I love my President and appreciate his genuine effort to perform the impossible.

I have no per sonal criticism of him or his tenure in office, but I am a realist, and certain the hoard of terrorist groups in Israel are

so splintered, in both opinion and power, that no leader can possible hold them together to create a state of law and order.

Israel is crying out saying “Peace and safety,” but such a true condition cannot come to be until the Second Advent of the Messiah.

Matthew 23:37-39 – O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

[38] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. [39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Micah 5:3,4 – Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. [4] And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Zechariah 14:8,9 – And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. The Reality on the Ground in the Palestinian Authority

Mahmoud Abbas has failed to turn the Palestinian Authority into a viable government in spite of millions of pounds in aid and support from the West.

During his tenure the balance of power has shifted to the militant Palestinian cause, generously supported from countries like Iran and Syria, who reject any notion of a peace deal with Israel.

Moderate Arab states like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan stand ready to help, but none is likely to engage deeply in a process that seems doomed.

Man – The Blood Flowing, Earth Becoming, Image of Messiah!

Many years ago, as I sat in a Hebrew class in Seminary, our instructor taught us something which came to mind as I read the article by Dallas Darling in World News, which follows our heading.

The instructor said that the full Hebrew exposition of the first phrase in Genesis 1:26 was quite revealing.

Genesis 1:26a – And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: (KJV)

“And God said, Let us (more than one) make man in our (more than one) image, after our (more than one) likeness:”

So what were the created characteristics of the image and likeness of the man God made?

He was an earth becoming, blood flowing man – God made man in the image He would one day take on Himself.

God, who in His fullness of manifesting three offices of the Godhead’s redemption plan, knowing that the first Adam would sin, planned from the beginning to work in three officers, or persons, as one God, to be just in justifying fallen man by the Father’s love, the Son’s sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit’s conviction for sin.

One could infer God made man in the body image He knew He would one day reside as the Son of God, living in the perfect sinless body of the Son of man, Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:23-26 – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

God did indeed one day take on the sinless body of a man in the womb of the Virgin Mary, the man Christ Jesus – God became a blood flowing earth man, for the purpose of reconciling man to fellowship by offering his blood flowing, earth body for their sinful condition, which they inherited from the first Adam.

The man Christ Jesus died as the second Adam to undo,

to atone for, making reconciliation for, what the first Adam had passed on to indwell all men. The last Adam, Jesus, did not have the first Adam’s inherited sin nature, which was a necessity for God to be just in justifying the believer for his or her sins, through Jesus becoming the innocent substitute sacrifice for their sins by taking them in his own body on the cross, which is the word of reconciliation.

II Corinthians 5:18,19 – And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

I Corinthians 15:21,22 – For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

I Corinthians 15:45 – And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Man’s basic problem since the fall of Adam has always been the fallen nature he inherited from Adam. The woes and ills described in the article, which follows our headings, are all symptoms of his basic desire for his own welfare, and these woes and ills are only going to get worse with the passage of time. Things are not going to change until Christ’s Second Advent. I believe Jesus made this plain in Matthew 10:34-36 and I Corinthians 15:19-25.

Matthew 10:34-36 – Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. [35] For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [36] And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

I Corinthians 15:19-25 – If in this life only we have hope in Christ,

we are of all men most miserable. [20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. [23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. [24] T hen

cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. [25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

For good reason, Genesis 2:7 says, “The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground.” And for good cause, it is written in the Koran, “With water we have made all living things.” (Sura XXI-Anbiyaa:30).

Imagine for just a moment if the world pursued a Theology of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. In other words, what if these natural wonders (along with the entire Earth which sustains life) had similar God-given and unalienable rights like people do, beginning with reverence, peaceful co-existence with humankind and the right to be free from domination and war?

Much of the world is now familiar with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s speedboats that, according to the US, repeatedly charged three US warships along the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates described the incident as “troubling.” US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called the event “provocative” and accused Iran of being “the single greatest threat to the kind of Middle East we all want to see.” The Iranian Foreign Ministry characterized the incident as a case of mistaken identity and said the voices threatening to blow up a US warship were fabricated.

For thousands of years, the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz has given birth to many city states and ancient civilizations. This important waterway and strait, which connects the countries of the Middle East with the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, has witnessed the rise

of the Phoenicians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Macedonians, Romans, Arabs, Turks, and numerous Muslim Kingdoms. It has enabled these civilizations to advance by establish trading routes, exchanging ideas and promoting cultural interactions.

Beginning in 1095 and as a result of the Christian Crusades, Europeans were introduced to the luxury items of eastern Asia such as spices, silk and ivory. Portugal, a major European power, sought to monopolize this trade while continuing to spread Christianity. By 1514 the Portuguese, with the use of their navigational equipment, three-mast ships called caravels and cannons, had sailed around Africa and institutionalized slavery. They had also attacked and crushed Muslim and Italian trade routes to Asia by building a fort alongside the Strait of Hormuz-the entrance to the Persian Gulf.

Although the Portuguese empire was short lived, a precedence

was set for other European nations to follow. In 1622, the English East India Company conquered the Portuguese fort in the Strait of Hormuz. This company, and the English Empire, surpassed the Portuguese Empire and trading posts with private armies, paid mercenaries and the military conscription of the indigenous populations. The English, like the Spanish, Dutch, and French who were also competing for resources and conquering other parts of the world, brought with them a sense of religious and technological superiority.

Unlike the Indigenous and Eastern Faiths, though, the creed of Western Christianity and European powers consisted of industrialism, mass consumption, market economies, overuse of natural resources, and environmental degradation.

This new Gospel of Modernity, which would also be embraced by the United States of America, would not only bring suffering to millions of people in the Middle East, but also travail to the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. Due to the large deposits of crude oil and the need to fuel market economies and imperial war machines, after WW I and WW II the Western Powers seized and controlled much of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

Today, 20-25% of the world’s oil passes through the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, but at what cost? There are visible scars in the form of hundreds of oil pipelines and oil refineries at Abadan, Basra, Kuwait, Al Ahmai, Qatar, Said, and Matrah. There are numerous oil ports and terminals at Lavan Island, Khark Island, Bahrain, Umm, and Ras Tanura. The “cup of suffering” did not pass from the Persian Gulf when the USS Vincennes shot down and destroyed a passenger airbus killing hundreds of innocent Iranian children, women and men.

The Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz has also undergone the Iraq-Iran War and the US-Iran Tanker War. The atrocities of Gulf War One are still felt throughout the region due to more than 240 million gallons of crude oil that was spilled onto the land and into the water. Tens of thousands of animals and marine mammals were killed. Entire species became extinct. It still remains to be seen what the effects will be like from Gulf War Two and the current Gulf War Three.

In geographical terms, a “gulf” is a part of a large body of water that extends into a shoreline. In spiritual and psychological terms, a gulf means a gap or separation. The sins of the fathers, along with a lack of repentance and restitution, hangs over the Western powers and the US. Instead of respecting the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the “Garden of Eden,” the West has dominated and squandered God’s creation. Instead of being faithful stewards, the West has been

faithful materialists. It is this that has caused a gulf and a separation from God and from much of the world.

A second definition for the word “gulf” can also mean “abyss.” Today in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz: Instead of compasses for directional purposes there are radars and Global Satellites to direct missiles that kill innocent people; Instead of caravels there are air craft carrier groups with F-18’s (worth $57 million each) that fly deadly sorties; Instead of cannons there are nuclear warheads; Instead of slavery there exists economic dependency.

The unforgivable sin, which is the tyranny of war in order to protect an addiction for oil, has created an abyss which now overshadows the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. C an the United St

ates of America-a Christian nation, and Iran-an Islamic Republic, pursue a theology of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. After all, are they not the works and the creation of God? And if so, should they not be free from terror and war?

A PEACE OF NO

PEACE SOLUTION!

Any adult, who has lived long enough, knows quite well in many cases what we “say” can express what we desire, just as much as what we actually possess. “Say” and “what happens” are two different things.

When I first interpreted “Peace and safety” in I Thessalonians 5:3, some 55 years ago, I just automatically thought it meant that a time of “Peace and safety” would come into existence, be in place, shortly before Israel suffered “sudden destruction” from the north.

But I now realize “say” could just as well mean they are crying out for “Peace and safety,” desiring it, not necessarily that they already have it. I changed my mind during the turn of the century on my first interpretation of “Peace and safety,” coming to believe it meant Israel would be desiring it by crying out for it, rather than actually possessing it.

Israel has been crying out for “Peace and safety” vigorously since 1967, but it increased with each passing years during the forty years up to the present time.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

[4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

I am afraid that many, as I did, are waiting for what people define as a time of normal “Peace and safety,” where all the firing and hostilities do actually cease long enough for the Israeli “man in the street” to actually believe Israel has finally attained a time of “Peace and Safety,” but in street language – “Ain’t About to Happen, Clyde!”

BUSH PREDICTS PALESTINIAN STATE BY 2009

US President George W Bush has said he believes the Palestinians will have their own state after signing a peace deal with Israel before he leaves office next year.

At a news conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Mr Bush said: “I believe it’s going to happen, that there will be a signed peace treaty by the time I leave office.”

“I am confident that with proper help the state of Palestine will emerge.”

Mr Bush said he would provide both political and economic backing but said Mr Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert must “come together to make hard choices”.

Speaking at Muqata, the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat’s compound, Mr Abbas hailed

Mr Bush as the first US President to commit fully to back a Palestinian state.

Critics of Mr Bush say he did little during the first seven years of his presidency to end the 60-year-old conflict and doubt that the many differences can now be overcome.

They accuse him of trying to burnish his legacy in the Middle East after five years of war in Iraq.

A politically weak Mr Abbas is hoping Mr Bush’s visit to Ramallah will boost his own standing among Palestinians who are desperate for progress towards an end to Israeli occupation and fulfilment of their dream of an independent state.

Mr Bush held talks with Olmert in Jerusalem on Wednesday, saying he was “very hopeful” about prospects for peace.

But Mr Bush acknowledged: “I’ m under no illusions.

This is going to be hard work.”

Former chief Rabbi to Bush: Don’t act against God’s will

In a letter handed to US president, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu warns him not to take action that would harm Jewish people.

In a letter handed to US President George Bush Thursday, former Sephardic Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu admonished the US president to avoid any course of action that would harm the Jewish nation.

“The Jewish nation is eternal, and forever remembers those that have aided it throughout history, as well as those that have done it harm. Please let your name go down in history as a president who aided the Jewish nation, who worked alongside God and not against him,” wrote the rabbi.

The Rabbi furthermore urged Bush in his letter to utilize his visit to strengthen and bolster the State of Israel.

“You were granted the privilege of serving as US president.

Make the best of the duties given you, and we will fulfill our task of remembering you as good and noble throughout the ages,” said the Rabbi.

Rabbi Eliyahu began his letter with greetings for President Bush and praise for his efforts to bring peace to the region. With that, he then told the American president that “his agenda for peace goes against the will of God”.

Granting the site of the Holy Temple to murderers of women and children who blaspheme God, wrote Rabbi Eliyahu, is an act against the Jewish people as well as God.

“Ever since the Jews of Gush Katif were expelled from their homes, Sdeort was bombarded with hundreds of Qassam rockets by Hamas as well as other Palestinian organizations….Hundreds of thousands of additional people will live in similar danger if we were to abide by your peace plan, and then where would we end up?” asked the Rabbi.

‘God promised land of Israel to Jewish people alone’

The Rabbi stressed that “he prays for peace, as does any individual who believes in God,” but that “anyone who accepts the bible as the word of God must keep in mind that God had promised the land of Israel to the Jewish people alone. The Ishmaelites have no part of this divine guarantee.”

Noting that God’s promise to return the Jewish people to their homeland has been coming to full fruition during the last century, the rabbi then urged President Bush to act as a vessel carrying out the divine plan. “God’s pledge to the Jewish people is carried out through people who were created in God’s image, and it their duty to carry out the divine will.”

In addition to Rabbi Eliyahu’s letter, various rabbis and right-wing activists composed an additional letter to President Bush, urging him to free Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, to support “Jewish settlement in Israel entire”, and to encourage Israeli Jews to make aliyah to Israel en masse.

Written on parchment much like a Torah scroll, the aforementioned letter will be handed to the US president by a “very prominent figure” who is scheduled to meet him. Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz, Sanhedrin President, wrote the letter, which was then translated by Rabbi Chaim Richman.

The letter was signed by members of the News Jewish Congress, the Sanhedrin, and the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, the “loyal representatives of the Jewish nation in God’s name”

Nations Attempting to Rape Israel Eventually Pay the Price!

I am very thankful to the G_d of Israel for men like Benny Elon and women like Caroline Glick, who hold up the defiant banner of courage in confidence of final victory. Although I am sure we have dramatically different viewpoints on the identity of the Messiah, I know their G_d has been with them in the many times they have been “raped” by the Gentile nations, and though they have suffered long and endured the sheer horror of the holocaust, I know they are still G_d’s people, and Israel is his chosen nation. I believe He is the Go

d of both the Jews and the Gentiles, of all who put their faith in the promised Seed of Genesis 3:15.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 4:25,26 – And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. [26] And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.

Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Genesis 22:18 – And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Israel will eventually be delivered, not by the United States, but by her G_d, and I look forward to the day when the following Scriptures will be fulfilled by her Messiah, who is also my Messiah.

The Israeli Initiative: No one will “rape” Israel

US President George W. Bush arrived in Israel today for a historic visit and I for one am very nervous. I am nervous not because I think he has any bad intentions but rather because I believe his Israeli counterparts do.

A couple of weeks ago, Israel was betrayed by one of our own in front of the whole world. On September 10, at a formal dinner hosted by America’s Ambassador to Israel, Ha’aretz editor David Landau sold our country out to the US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice. In his fanatic rant, Landau called Israel a “failed state” and appealed to have the US “rape Israel’, forcing her into submission by requiring a US- imposed settlement and humiliating us in front of the entire world.

I am appalled, disappointed and ashamed by the inexcusable comments that David Landau made to a member of a foreign government. I am also greatly distressed by the lack of public response to his words. Landau does not represent even a percentage of the public opinion in Israel and had his tirade been covered in the Hebrew media, the Israeli public surely would have protested.

Israel is not a failed state. Israel is a modern miracle, born out of the ashes of the Holocaust, forced into immediate conflict and made to fight for our very existence. G-d returned the land of Israel to

the Jewish people and He is facilitating the return of the exiles before our very eyes.

The problem in Israel is not that David Landau felt it necessary to betray his country and heritage to a diplomat from a foreign country. The problem is that with the exception of Makor Rishon, not one Hebrew media outlet reported this atrocity.

This is a symptom of a greater problem in our country. This is why voting percent ages

are down, a corrupt government is allowed to stay in power and the Israeli population at large has thrown up its hands in defeat. This is why no matter how many initiatives have failed based on the concept of land for peace; our government continues to push these ludicrous plans.

The leftist media in Israel continues to reward coverage only to those pushing plans that will ultimately destroy our country. Anyone who stands up and speaks out against committing national suicide is a considered a fanatic or an extremist. Just look at the facts. The nationalist camp has predicted every disaster from the Lebanon withdrawal, to Oslo and Disengagement but no one from the left has ever come out and apologized for these mega blunders. In fact these same politicians are still running the country. How is that possible?

The answer is that these plans have also been the agenda of our media. Go back to the coverage of disengagement and how they hailed Sharon as a hero or how they spoke of the brilliance of Oslo. In more recent events, look at the media’s new darling; the Annapolis conference and the emphasis that has been placed on dividing Jerusalem.

Now let’s go to the case of David Landau. This incident is a national disgrace. It has been reported all over the world but the Hebrew media has completely avoided it. The silence is deafening. In fact, the vast majority of Israelis don’t even know it happened.

Israel needs to wake up and realize that we are under attack. From outside and from within. We need a national information campaign to let our fellow brothers and sisters know that things can be better. Israelis need to hold their heads up high and be proud again.

To this end, I have launched the Israeli Initiative and worked to find new and exciting methods to penetrate the Hebrew media, including a trailer I released entitled “The Last Fanatic”. I believe that the average Israeli loves this country and sees it as a great source of pride. We need that spirit to embolden the entire country to speak out and declare that no one will rape Israel. This is the message that we need to send to President Bush and I believe he will stand by us if we do.
