I have a strong suspicion that one of the major problems faced in this country, as well as in Europe, when all out war begins in the Middle East, will be in-country anarchy generated by Islamic fanatics among the general populations. I believe our churches are headed for a time somewhat like the church of the Thessalonians.

II Thessalonians 1:4-10 – So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: [5] Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: [6] Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; [7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, [8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; [10] When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Areas with large Muslim populations may support a number of mosques serving different immigrant groups or varieties of belief within Sunni or Shi’a traditions.

At present, many mosques are served by imams imported from overseas, as only these imams have certificates from Muslim seminaries. This sometimes leads to conflict between the congregation and an imam who speaks little English and has little understanding of American culture. Some American Muslims have founded seminaries in the US in an attempt to prevent such problems.”

Al-Qaida recruiting black bombers

Pitch to African-Americans invokes ‘martyr’ Malcolm X

Al-Qaida is aggressively recruiting black Americans for suicide operations against the homeland, say FBI analysts who have reviewed recent videotaped messages from the terror group’s leaders.

A speech released May 5 by Osama bin Laden’s deputy confirms earlier fears that African-Americans are the No. 1 recruiting target for the next generation of attacks.

Al-Qaida has been trying to lower its Arab profile to reduce the odds that

its terror cells will be subjected to security scrutiny.

“Federal and local law enforcement authorities should be aware that al-Qaida terrorists may not appear Arab,” warns a recent Homeland Security intelligence report obtained by WND. “Non-Arab al-Qaida operatives could find it easier to avoid unwanted scrutiny since they may not fit typical profiles.”

In the latest message, al-Qaida No. 2 Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri clearly seeks to sow political and racial discontent among African-Americans. He makes frequent references to what he calls the “martyr” Malcolm X, and says “I want blacks in America to know that we are waging jihad to lift oppression from all mankind.”

Zawahiri encourages African-Americans to follow the example of Malcolm X, a.k.a. al-Hajj Malik al-Shabaaz, who he says was not afraid to sacrifice his life to fight American “oppression.”

According to a transcript of the hour-long screed, Zawahiri said this is “the culture which the struggler and martyr Malcom X (may Allah have mercy upon him) fought against when he told his repressed black brothers in America, ‘If you’re not ready to die for it, take the word “freedom” out of your vocabulary.'”

“Freedom is something that you have to do for yourself,” he quotes Malcolm X as as saying.

“The price of freedom is death.”

Zawahiri, again citing the teachings of Malcolm X, suggests that black Muslims who do not rise up against America are no better than “house slaves.”

It’s the first time al-Qaida has identified Malcolm X as a fellow Islamic “struggler and martyr,” analysts say.

“Zawahiri’s focus on race relations may be benefiting from the input of a U.S. citizen named Adam Yahiye Gadahn – a.k.a Azaam al-Amriki – who is a senior member of al-Qaida’s media committee,” said former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer, now an analyst for the Jamestown Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank specializing in national security.

“Indeed,” he added, “the deftness and political timeliness of Zawahiri’s statements suggest that al-Qaida may have more than a single American advising it.”

Last year, in another nearly hour-long videotaped speech, al-Qaida propaganda chief Gadahn invited blacks to convert

to Islam and take revenge against a nation that enslaved their ancestors.

Gadahn, a white convert from California thought to be operating out of al-Qaida’s new base in Pakistan, slammed his native America, which he said “shamelessly brought us lynch laws, Jim Crow, and a death row where only convicts of certain races are sent.”

In courting African-Americans, he also encouraged them to forsake Christianity, which he claims whites have used as an excuse to abuse blacks.

“Islam rejects the Judeo-Christian doctrines concerning Eve and Ham, which the West has used to justify all manner of abuse and ill treatment of women and blacks,” Gadahn said. “Islam is for everyone.”

Gadahn, who is wanted by the FBI for treason, also claims that America “enslaved Africa.”

Islamic terrorism analysts point out that al-Qaida’s racial history lessons conveniently leave out the fact that Arab Muslim slave traders sold Africans into bondage.

“The Arab is the true master of the African,” said Bill Warner, director of the Center for Study of Political Islam. “Blacks like to imagine Islam is their counterweight to white power, not that Islam has ruled them for 1,400 years.”

Blacks account for the largest share of Muslims in America. A great many of them are converts to Islam. And remarkably, the religion is flourishing among African-Americans since 9/11. Analysts fear the trend plays right into bin Laden’s hands.

Black converts say Islam has more in common with their African heritage than Christianity. In fact, black Muslim leaders often refer to such conversions as “reversions,” claiming black “reverts” are merely returning to the Islamic faith prominent among their African forebears who were forced into slavery.

“You have African-American men seeking liberation,” explained black Muslim leader Eric Erfan Vickers, “and many see Christianity as a white man’s religion that continues to oppress.”

Vickers, a convert to Islam, does not consider al-Qaida a terrorism group. “They are involved in a resistance movement,” he contended.

Prisons have already proven to be a fertile recruiting ground for al-Qaida, spawning the likes of shoebomber Richard Reid and alleged dirty bomber Jose Padilla.

Christian prison chaplains say Islam is so popular with inmates they are having a hard time competing with Muslim chaplains for their souls. Blacks are being converted by the cell block.

The FBI worries blacks could be the next face of terror in America.

Since 9/11, the agency has already disrupted several homegrown terror plots involving black Muslim converts, including:

A group of black Muslim converts in Miami who allegedly conspired to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago (some had rap sheets).

ack Muslim, Derrick Shareef, who allegedly plotted to blow up a local shopping mall.

A black U.S. soldier, Hassan Abujihaad, who allegedly fed terrorists classified information about U.S. battleship movements in the Strait of Hormuz.

Black ex-con Muslims in Torrance, Calif., who allegedly planned to attack military recruiting stations and synagogues in the state. The plot was initially hatched in prison.

Still, some analysts doubt al-Qaida’s pitch will resonate in today’s black community beyond a handful of malcontents. They point out that African-Americans are no longer held back by institutional racism, and are growing wealthier as evidenced by the expanding black middle class.

Indeed, Zawahiri does not paint a very enticing picture in describing the sacrifices required along the path of jihad, especially for those used to the material comforts of America.

“If we continue to aspire to nothing more than diplomas, positions, salaries, pensions and the raising of our children, there will be nothing but humiliation in store for us, our children and our grandchildren,” he argued. “If, on the other hand, we are happy with killing, captivity, emigration, losing one’s spouse, orphanage, and losing one’s wealth, homeland and beloved in the path of Allah, then with Allah’s help, no power on the face of the earth can defeat us.”

Zawahiri in his latest speech also made fresh threats about coming attacks on America.

He warns that a new “squadron of martyrdom-seekers” is lined up behind “hundreds” of new leaders who are following in the footsteps of captured 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

“They shall achieve more than he achieved,” Zawahiri vowed. “The Americans shall pay dearly.”

He says American voters had a chance to fire Bush in the last presidential election for invading Iraq, but they chose instead to reelect him.

He suggests they forfeited their chance for protection from terrorism, and deserve punishment.

“The Americans deserve what they’re getting,” he said. “They chose this liar two times, so let them pay the price for their choice.”

Gadahn has said “the streets of America shall run red with blood,” later singling out Los Angeles as a target of attack.

America – Let Israel make its own Decisions!

First of all, let me begin by saying I am certain there can be no genuine lasting peace in the Middle East until the Second Advent of the Messiah.

However, regardless of whether you believe paragraph one, I am also certain we should support Israel logistically with whatever weaponry and naval support she needs, short of putting U.S. troops on Israel soil.

We have a lot of nerve telling Israel how to deal with her Islamic cousins which did indeed come out of the same ancestor as Israel, namely, the Old Testament Patriarch Abraham. Israel understands far better than America and Europe how to deal with their Middle East enemies.

The Middle East situation is between three branches out of Abraham’s offspring through three women, Sarah, the Great-Grandmother of the 12 sons of Israel, Hagar, the Grandmother of the 12 sons of Ishmael, and Keturah, the mother of Abraham’s last six sons. The offspring of Hagar and Keturah intermarried with each other and the offspring of the descendants of Noah’s three sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth, to be called a “mingled” seed. The Hebrew word for “mingled” is “arab.”

Daniel 2:42 – And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The last evil kingdom of antichrist on this earth was to initially be comprised of 10 nations with 10 kings led by the man of sin himself. It was to arise out of the ashes of the old Roman Empire. I have always believed it would rise out of the southern half of the Empire and be made up of 10 Arab nations. I believe the elements for its formation are in place today, and

I suspect that the most likely Arab nations of which it will be comprised are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.

Some of these nations are strong like iron, and some are as soft and pliable as clay.

I do not question that in the final battle of Armageddon the descendants of Ham, Shem, and Japheth will be combatants against the nation of Israel. But I have always contended, along with the Bible expositors of the 18th and 19th centuries, that the antichrist’ s initial attack would be led by Arab de

scendants of Abraham. They are the mingled seed of his oldest son Ishmael with the seed of the six sons he sired by Keturah, as well as some of the other offspring of his own father Terah. The empire of the antichrist will be an Islamic empire that eventually takes into it other old world nations. And, in the final great battle of Armageddon, all those nations that made up the world as it was known in A.D. 95 will come against Israel, such that Japheth, Ham, and Shem’s descendants will also be involved.

Daniel 2:41-43 – And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

[42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. [43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The 10 toes will consist primarily of Terah�

��s descendants. Abraham came out of Terah. Out of Abraham came the leaders

of the three great monotheistic faiths associated with Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad. And they have always been in conflict.

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended.

“They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them.

Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah. It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created. The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more than have the Jews.

Daniel 2:43 – And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever

and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from whence he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Christ, the stone, came from the mountain representing God, without any human instrumentation, but by God’s Spirit forming his body in a virgin’s womb. Christ will return to destroy those morally destroying the earth. All of the evil that came out of the Babylonian, Medo- Persian, Macedonian, and Roman Empires will be laid waste by his Second Advent.

Daniel 2:45 – Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and

the interpretation thereof sure.

The Scriptures which follow describe the coming of

the great Stone, the great Rock, coming with his kingdom.

Revelation 19:11-18 – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

[13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:19,20 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. [20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

More harm and no good at all has come from the Middle East interventions of Secretary of State Condi Rice. She has been promoting an Israeli-Palestinian “political horizon” – the latest euphemism for a comprehensive agreement. It sounds fine, but it has no relationship to the realities on the ground; in fact, it merely perpetuates a harmful illusion.

Both Mahmoud Abbas and Ariel Sharon advised that Hamas should not be allowed to take part in the election of ’06 since Hamas had no intention of running a normal democracy but simply wanted to exploit Gaza as a base for a two-front war – one against Israel, the second against Palestinians loyal to Fatah. Condi Rice thought she knew better.

Ditto with Israeli objections to turning over the strip of land between Gaza and Egypt, known as the Philadelphia corridor. Her insistence has enabled Hamas to import tons of ammunition. Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists move freely between Gaza and Egypt, and from there to Syria, Lebanon, and Iran for training. Hamas continues to manufacture huge amounts of weapons and continues to launch Kassam rockets into Israel on a daily basis.

The Bush administration wants someone to make an agreement with – and there isn’t anybody. Nobody on the Palestinian side, for sure.

Only the Arab countries – Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan – can provide enough cover and pressure for the Palestinians to make an agreement, but they don’ t wan

t to. The Saudis prefer to look as if they want peace, rather than working to achieve it.

The “political horizon” Rice sees is a mirage of her own making, an effort that is bound to stall, diminishing American prestige and credibility.

What are the chances of a War Middle East War this Summer?

The Haaretz article, which follows our heading article, is right on target concerning the possibil ity

of a full blown Middle East War, which would include a Islamic Jihad attack of ten Arab nations against Israel, the driving of Israel into the Negev Wilderness, a hudna (truce) at that time, and the final battle of Armageggon some three and one-half years later. A sequence of events would follow the pattern outl ined

in the following Scriptures.

Daniel 7:24,25 – And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. [25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Zechariah 13:8 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Revelation 16:16 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Joel 3:9-17 – Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: [10] Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

[11] Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord. [12] Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

Zechariah 13:9 – And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

A War this Summer?

Will there be war this summer? Apart from Israel, there are four parties – Iran, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas – who must be asked this question.

Iran will determine whether Hizbullah launches a new war. Tehran is involved in large-scale military operations in a number of places. A major war today, initiated by Iran, could endanger its main objectives. Hizbullah will not embark on an all-out war if Iran is against it.

If it could, Hizbullah would renew its war of attrition, but the organization’s freedom of action in Lebanon is limited.

Hamas could ignite a war in Gaza.

The more serious leaders of Hamas know that a war this summer would be too early to serve their purposes. In a year from now, Gaza will pose a greater threat to Israel, especially if the government doesn’t come up with better solutions to the conflict. What is happening today to Sderot could happen someday to Ashkelon.

There is no question that Syria is readying for combat.

Again, the question is whether it has plans to initiate a war. The cautious conclusion is that none of the parties today are interested in an all-out war. But war could erupt by mistake.

I do not believe there will be a major all out Middle East War until Iran has developed a deterrent, deliverable, nuclear warhead for its Shihab missile series.

Nor do I believe there will be such a war as long as U.S. troops are in Iraq.

The earliest these two events could occur, in my opinion, would be in 2008, which I doubt. So quite a while back I made my guesstimate that such a war would occur at some point in time after 2007, but prior to 2013 – But it a guess, no more, and

no less. Once our troops are withdr

awn and Iran gets a deterrent, deliverable, nuclear warhead, then it could occur at any time.

Israel’s Spiritual Blindness will end in the Negev Wilderness!

Israel has been in spiritual darkness since they rejected their Messiah, and have been considered a nation in unbelief by their God.

When they are driven into the Negev Wilderness, the vail of blindness will be lifted, and they will receive the Messiah they rejected as the Son of the living God. When they think they have finally attained a degree of peace and safety they will be attacked by 10 Islamic nations from the north.

Romans 11:32 – For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

I Thessalonians 5:2-5 – For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

II Corinthians 3:14-16 – But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

[16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

The vail will be lifted in the Negev when they turn to the prom ise

of their God in Messiah.

The Jewish Council, after the resurrection of Christ, forbade the First Jewish New Testament Church from preaching the cross in Jerusalem.

The religious leaders of Jerusalem today have the same attitude toward New Testament Church teachings, as did their forefathers, after Christ was resurrected from the dead. They do not want Christ preached to those he w as sent

as Messiah.

John 1:11-14 – He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor

of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:17 – For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Chief Rabbinate Finalizes Ban on Christian Women’s Conference

(IsraelNN.com) The Chief Rabbinate of Israel, after hearing more testimony, reiterated its ban on Jewish participation in the Christian-sponsored conferences in Jerusalem this week.

The rabbinate’s Committee to Stop Missionary Dissemination met for a second time on Thursday, this time with MK Benny Elon, the Chairman of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus. Though Elon demonstrated his opposition to working with missionaries and the care his groups take to ensure that no missionary work is tolerated, the rabbis reaffirmed the previous ban.

The committee’s first decision was a unanimous vote, agreed upon by Rabbis Simcha Kook (Chief Rabbi of Rechovot), Yitzchak Peretz (Raanana) and Yehuda Deri (Be’er Sheva). At the second vote, however, Rabbi Deri was not present, and Haifa’s Chief Rabbi She’ar-Yashuv Cohen, who replaced him, voted against the decision.

Also participating in the meeting were Jerusalem Councilwoman Mina Fenton (NRP), a long-time activist against missionary activity, and Ze’ev Shtieglitz of the Netanya-based Lev L’Achim anti-missionary organization.

Elon Will Not Participate in Conference

MK Elon expressed disappointment with the decision, but said he would honor it: “I feel that the evidence presented to the rabbis was not complete, but the bottom line is that as a religious Jew, I am bound by the rabbis’ decisions, and I will not participate in the conference.” He said that the decision does not affect his work as head of the Knesset lobby, which deals chiefly with Jewish-Christian political ties.

Hardships Facing Women and Biblical Solutions

The conference involves two days of seminars and lectures beginning today (Sunday) on the following themes: Abuse and trafficking of women, incest and honor killings, as well as the rights of women to an education, free speech, vote and religion. “Over 600 women from around the world will join together for this monumental event,” the Caucus promotional literature states, “to discuss the many hardships facing women today and possible solutions to these problems based on their shared Biblical values.

Among the speakers will be the founder of Precept Ministries Kay Arthur and Aglow International President Jane Hansen. The summit will culminate with a march from the Crown Plaza Hotel to the Jerusalem Rose Garden.

Fenton and Shtieglitz presented the rabbis with evidence of direct or indirect missionary activity by two of the organizations behind the two Christian conferences being held in Jerusalem at this time: The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ) and Bridges for Peace. Both conferences are part of a larger Women’s Summit Tour of the ICEJ and the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, taking place from May 13-22.

The rabbis ruled that in light of the incessant missionary onslaught by many Christian evangelical groups, events of this nature that “strive to create a partnership between famous Christian preachers and leaders of organizations that have worldwide missionary programs to missionize as many Jews as possible… have been banned in the past by Torah giants throughout the generations, and they are forbidden.”

Rabbi Deri explained the original decision to Arutz-7: “We note of late the terrible phenomenon of Messianic Jews wreaking havoc and destruction in Israel by trying to bring Jesus as Messiah into Israel. With pleasantness and kindness, they bring Torah, fear of G-d and even Torah commandments – but all with one underlying theme: that Jesus is Messiah… They want to help and support us, but they have the same goals as the Messianics. They make tremendous efforts and support us all over, and are even more right-wing than we are in some ways, and they help us with Bush, etc. – this is all true, but in the end, they have one goal, and that is Jesus. We are not on the level of early great Rabbis who were able to take the good and spit out the bad…”

Caution Taken

Spokespersons for the Christian groups, both Jewish and Christian, say the groups in question do not engage in active missionary activity. Many Jewish groups that work with them say they are careful to screen out missionaries, and make it clear that they will not

work with anyone who espouses a missionary program.

But Fenton says they’re missing the point: “The goal of all the groups is to blur the differences between Jews and Christians, to show the Jewish roots of Jesus, and to show that we believe in the same things… That’s why they have all these missions and study groups and women’s groups and seminars on Christianity’s Jewish roots and the like – because they want Jews to think that they can remain Jewish while still accepting Jesus.”

Friendship Leads to Interest

Ze’ev Shtieglitz of Lev L’Achim goes further, saying he has evidence of actual missionary activity by these groups.

“For instance,” he told Arutz-7, “ICEJ Liaison Officer Doron Schneider is the head of the Messianic Jewish community in Maaleh Adumim… The pastor of the Brit Olam Jewish-messianic congregation received his salaray from Bridges for Peace… But more than that: Dr. George Giacumakis, the one-time Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ICEJ, has said straight out that it is hoped, through various ‘friendship’ organizations with Jews, and by giving financial and political support to Israel, that Jews will start showing interest in Christianity.”

Mickey Mouse has Toes of Iron and Clay that do not hold Together!

Farfur is the Islamic name given to the Hamas version of Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse, which appears in the Jerusalem Post article that follows our heading. Farfur has been squeaking out to Palestinian children to “kill the Jews” on Hamas TV lately, but he hasn’t said much about the Palestinians

killing each other in the Gaza Strip, or how the Islamic nations have fought among themselves for centuries.

Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse doesn’t have 10 toes, like the ancestors of today’s Arabs, who built the great statue on the ancient plains of Babylon.

The inspired word in Daniel 2:43, from which the word “mingled” comes, is ARAB, which means “to interlace or mix.” The “seed of men” refers to non-descendants of the man Abraham, from which both Jews and Arabs descended.

“They” refers to the 10 toes of Daniel’s statue in Daniel 2:42, which have 10 kings over them. Isaac, the father of Israel, had seven half brothers – Ishmael from Hagar and the six sons of Keturah. It was from these seven half brothers that the Arab world has been primarily created. The descendants of Israel have been more likely to marry within the blood line of the man Israel than have the Arabs to marry within their separate bloodlines of Hagar and Keturah, and the Arabs have also intermingled with non-descendants of Abraham more than have the Jews.

Daniel 2:43 – And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Just as iron and clay do not hold together very long, the 10 Arab nations will only hold together long enough to fulfill God’s end time tribulation period prophecies. The saved will be caught up on the sounding of the seventh trump to be judged in heaven, and the kingdom of God will all be united in heaven, waiting to return to earth with Christ at his Second Advent.

Revelation 11:15 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Daniel 2:44 – And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

The God of heaven will call all the saved of all the ages together in heaven during the “days of these kings,” and will initially “set up” his kingdom, from whence he will return to earth with it as its head, after the saved have been judged in heaven. Christ’s coming kingdom will “break in pieces and consume all the kingdoms” of the present world, and his kingdom alone will rule.

Revelation 11:15-18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Palestinian Affairs: A Mickey Mouse unity

‘I wonder what Farfur has to say about the latest fighting between Fatah and Hamas,” a respected P

alestinian journalist in the Gaza Strip said this week when asked to comment on the internecine violence.

Farfur, a squeaky-voiced Mickey Mouse look-alike, is the star of a weekly children’s program called “Tomorrow’s Pioneers,” broadcast on the official Hamas station, Al-Aksa TV.

Farfur has thus far ignored the street fighting that has left more than 165 killed since the beginning of the year, choosing instead to attack the “oppressive invading Zionist occupation” that must be “resisted” at all costs.

“Hamas has turned Mickey Mouse into a monstrous figure,” said the journalist, who describes himself as a secular and moderate Muslim. “When you spread such messages of hatred, especially among children, you then can’t ask why young men grow up to become so violent and ruthless.”

But, apart from the incitement, the story of Farfur is an indication of how the new Palestinian “unity” government has been functioning for the past three months.

After the story of Farfur was exposed by Palestinian Media Watch, PA Information Minister Mustafa Barghouti – an independent – announced that he had ordered the Hamas TV station to drop the show.

First, Hamas denied that it had received such an order.

Later, the station’s staff admitted that “someone” from the Information Ministry had phoned them asking to stop showing the Farfur episode, “because it was being used to defame the Palestinians abroad.”

Needless to say, the program continues to be broadcast every Friday afternoon. In fact, Farfur can now boast a larger audience, since most of the children in the Gaza Strip remain indoors due to the ongoing violent Hamas-Fatah clashes.

“The unity government is not a real government,” said Muhammed Idris, member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine [PFLP], a Syria-based Marxist group that is strongly opposed to the Oslo Accords.

“If the information minister has no control over the Palestinian media and the interior minister – who resigned earlier this week – has no authority over security, then what type of a government is this? This is a fake unity and a

fake government. It’s only a government on paper.”

Instead of censuring Hamas for exploiting the character of Mickey Mouse to send negative messages to Palestinian children, Barghouti chose to lash out at the foreign media for paying too much attention to the story. Barghouti said he could not understand the outcry in the world over the Farfur show at a time when Israel is continuing to “commit daily atrocities” against the Palestinians.

Fortunately for Barghouti and Hamas, the renewed fighting on the streets of Gaza has diverted attention from the controversial program.

THE “UNITY” government was established with the declared goal of persuading the international community to resume financial aid to the Palestinians. Three months later, both Hamas and Fatah are very disappointed with the failure of the US and most EU countries to accept the new Hamas-led coalition. Leaders of the two parties have been openly talking about dissolving the government if the sanctions continue.

As many Palestinians had predicted, the unity government deal that was struck in Mecca in February did not ease tensions between Fatah and Hamas. On the contrary, the two sides continued to prepare for another round of violence on the ground. Moreover, their leaders and spokesmen continued the propaganda campaign against each other.

Tensions reached their peak late last week when Interior Minister Hani Kawassmeh, who was supposed to be in charge of security, announced his decision to quit the government.

Kawassmeh accused PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah warlords in Gaza of blocking his attempts to impose law and order.

“They wanted me to be a minister with no power,” Kawassmeh explained. “They just wanted me to sit in my office and do nothing. They wanted to make a joke out of me.”

Kawassmeh’s allegations have been echoed by several Hamas leaders over the past few weeks. These leaders have been complaining that Abbas and his Fatah warlords have been behaving as if there is no Palestinian government. According to the Hamas leaders, Abbas, with the help of the US and Israel, was actually trying to remove Hamas from power.

Reports that the US has been supplying Abbas’s forces with guns and millions of dollars with which to take on Hamas’s supporters have only added fuel to the fire.

This week’s bloody clashes have shown that despite the money and weapons, Fatah is either unprepared or unwilling to engage in a major confrontation with Hamas. Fatah, it is worth noting, has more soldiers, weapons and money than Hamas.

But some Fatah leaders admitted this week that what the faction was lacking was the support of the Palestinian public. “Most Palestinians still don’t trust us,” said a veteran Fatah operative in the West Bank. “Most Palestinians still hold us responsible for the financial corruption in the Palestinian Authority.

And what’s worse is that many Palestinians don’t like the fact that we are being supported by the US and Israel.”

A SIGN of Fatah’s dwindling popularity on the streets of Gaza was provided by the recurring Hamas attacks on the homes of senior Fatah leaders Rashid Abu Shabak, Samir Masharawi and Maher Miqdad. Some Fatah leaders and their families have since fled [with Israel’s assistance] to the West Bank.

Even if the current wave of intra-fighting ends, it will only be a matter of time before the next explosion on the Palestinian street. The gap between Fatah and Hamas is so wide that the sarcastic comment sounded by many Palestinians these days is that it would be easier to make peace between Hamas and Israel than Hamas and Fatah. “Fatah and Hamas are worse than each other,” said a former adviser to Yasser Arafat. “We need a new leadership that will save the people from these two monsters.

While Hamas’s Farfur is preaching hatred to the children, Fatah is recruiting kids aged 12-18 for military training.”
