The free world is up to its armpits in alligators, namely, Islam, Russia, and China.

The article from the Jerusalem Post is another example of how the pieces of the prophetic end time puzzle are falling into place, which will one day end at Armageddon, when the fullness of the present Gentile Age comes in.

Romans 11:25-27 – For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

[26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

The latest economy boosting move by Russia not only gives them “moo-cho” oil dollars, but endears them with Iran for assistance at the final battle of Armageddon which will end the “fullness of the Gentile age.” I do not expect Russia or China to be involved in the initial Islamic Jihad attack against Israel, which I guesstimate is likely to occur at some point in time between 2008 and 2012, but I do expect them both to participate actively at Armageddon when the Islamic Antichrist calls out for the nations of Africa, Europe, Eurasia, Asia,

and the Middle East to join him for a final destruction of Israel in the Negev wilderness. I believe Armageddon will occur some three and one-half years after the initial Arab attack that drives Israel into the Negev.

Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Daniel 11:45 – And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Revelation 19:19-21 – And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. [20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

[21] And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Report: Russia to Supply Iran with Anti-aircraft Systems

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov on Friday reiterated Moscow’s commitment to supply Iran with sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles, local news agencies reported.

“If there are no extraordinary circumstances, it (the contract) will without doubt be fulfilled,” Ivanov was quoted as saying.

Defense Ministry officials have previously said Moscow will supply 29 sophisticated Tor-M1 air defense missile systems to Iran under a $700 million (€565 million) contract, according to Russian media reports.

The move was likely to upset the United States which last month called on all countries to stop all arms exports to Iran and to end all nuclear cooperation with it to put pressure on Tehran to halt uranium enrichment activities.

Tehran insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, but the United States and some of its allies suspect Iran is trying to develop weapons.

Ivanov sought to dispel possible criticism of Russia’s moves, stressing that Moscow was following international weapons regulations.

“As far as Russia’s position is concerned, we strictly abide by all nonproliferation regimes, and when we hear reproaches that Russia is secretly helping Iran – it is just propaganda,” the Interfax news agency quoted Ivanov as saying. He did not specify what the reproaches were.

Jerusalem Day Next Year – The End of the Reunification Generation!

Next year’s Jerusalem Day will mark the end of a generation that began with the fulfilling of Luke 21:24. Most accept a generation as 40 years in the Jewish culture because of the Lord’s forcing Israel to live in the Negev Wilderness for 40 years. The next Jerusalem day will mark the end of the generation that began with the recapture of the Old City of Jerusalem and its Temple Mount by Israeli forces in 1967.

Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The “times of the Gentiles” for Old Jerusalem and its Temple Mount ended in 1967, but the “fullness of the Gentiles Age” will not come in until the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.

Because Israel would not go in to claim the land after Moses led

them out of Egypt, God made them wander in the Negev Wilderness for some 40 years. He gave Israel back its Capital Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights in 1967.

Once again Israel had the land from Dan to Beersheba, and the entire Negev Wilderness. But the leaders of Israel have chosen to give the West Bank and Gaza Strip back to the Gentiles (non-Jews), and there will be a price paid for that decision. Once again Jerusalem and the land from Dan to Beersheba will be conquered by their enemies and the Temple Mount trodden down by the Gentiles for three and one-half prophetic years of 360 days. (42 prophetic months of 30 days = 1260 prophetic days = 3 and ½ prophetic years).

Revelation 11:2 – But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Zechariah 14:1,2 – Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. [2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Israel is once again going to wander in the wilderness, but not for 40 years, only three and a half, after which she will return to take back her capital city Jerusalem and all the Land Grant promised to Abraham through Isaac and Jacob.

Zechariah 13:8,9 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

[9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Genesis 15:18 – In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Ezekiel 47:17 – And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the

border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

Ezekiel 47:19 – And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.

Zechariah 14:9 – And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

I am guesstimating that the attack in which the Arabs will recapture the Temple Mount is likely to be at some point in time between 2008 and 2012.

Olmert: Jewish People will never have a Different Home

The climax of Israel’s 58-year history was when Israeli soldiers declared ‘the Temple Mount is in our hands,’ at the end of the 1967 Six Day War, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Thursday, as Israel marked Jerusalem Day and the reunific

ation of the city 39 years ago.

The premier said that the historic moment was unparalleled in both the past and future annals of Israeli and Jewish history.

“There never was and there never will be another home for the Jewish people,” Olmert said at the official Jerusalem Day ceremony at the city’s Ammunition Hill, just four hours after returning to Israel from his first official visit to the US as premier.

The unusually nationalistic and emotion-filled address, which eschewed politics of the day, was a throwback to Olmert’s tenure as one-time hawkish Jerusalem mayor in the last decade.

In an earlier address, President Moshe Katsav called Jerusalem the “source of inspiration” for the Jewish people.

“Jerusalem is the religious, national and cultural center of the Jewish people since ancient days and for eternity” Katsav said.

“Jerusalem is the Jewish people’s ‘genetic code,’ and continues to be an inspiration for all Jews in Israel and the Diaspora,” he concluded.

Although the prime minister said that Jerusalem was never more “Jewish whole and united” than it is today, city statistics indicate that the Jewish population of the city, as a percentage of the total number of city residents continues to fall, with parity between the number of Jewish and Arab residents in the city forecast in two decades, barring expected city border changes.

Olmert had stated that he is willing to cede outlying Arab neighborhoods in the city to the Palestinians as part of a final peace treaty.

After the initial attack of Titus against Jerusalem a remnant of Jewish patriots fled into the wilderness and made a last stand at Masada, which fell some three and one-half years later to a Roman army. I suspect the same scenario may repeat itself from the time Jerusalem is taken, but it will be the Antichrist’s Army that falls at Jerusalem from an onrushing Jewish army that returns

from the wilderness.

Another Obvious Attempt to Get the International Community to Restart Funding to a Terrorist Government!

I am amazed at how naïve most of the international community is when it comes to examining the motives of the terrorist group Hamas.

Each time some seemingly tiny crack of hope appears that Hamas might be converted to a bunch of good ole boys, the international community will rush to the crack and try to use it as an excuse to start sending the usual welfare millions to an unchangeable terrorist mob, that now represents the Palestinian government.

Some groups are now saying that the latest attempt to restart talks with the Israelis is a bold step by Abbas which, if accepted by the Hamas, will bring peace to Israel. Why wouldn’t Hamas accept it? The document does not require them to recognize Israel as a state, nor does it require them to renounce terrorism.

But it does require the non-state, terrorist plagued, non-recognized Israel to give back 100 percent of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and let all of the occupants and their descendents from the 1967 War to return. What a charming arrangement! Let all of our Israel hating brethren return to strengthen us so we can wipe out the state we refuse to recognize as a state. If you were an Israelite, do you think you would accept such a death sentence arrangement?

All of this is just an effort by a man who has no power over Hamas to stay in their good graces, keep the powerless position he now holds, and milk millions out of the international community to support the welfare of a terrorist Palestinian government. Much of the western world has a tendency to want to believe in fairy tales where they all “live happily ever after.” This type of ending will only come to pass after tribulation beyond man’s wildest imagination, followed by the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. He will come shortly after the Antichrist plants the tents of his vast Armageddon army around his command post on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea.

No one will be able to help the Antichrist because he will be sapped by God through his Archangel Michael.

And God will bring a remnant of Jewish believers through the tribulation period into the millennial reign, whose names are written in a book of remembrance. They will be part of a world where the Lord reigns over all the earth from Jerusalem.

Referendum to be Held in 40 Days if Deal not Reached

In a dramatic announcement, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Thursday he will call a national referendum on the parameters of a future Palestinian state if no agreement is reached with Hamas within 10 days.

If the deadline expires, Abbas said, he would call a referendum within 40 days on a proposal to accept Palestinian statehood in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem.

“If you don’t reach an agreement within 10 days, I’m going to present the document to a referendum in 40 days. Within 40 days I will ask the people,” Abbas told a large gathering at his headquarters in Ramallah.

A senior Hamas official said the group accepts the proposal from Abbas to hold a referendum on accepting a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem if an agreement between

Palestinian factions is not reached within 10 days.

“Returning to the people is one of the most important principles in democracy,” said Abdel Aziz Duaik, the Hamas speaker of parliament.

Yasser Abed Rabbo, a close adviser to Abbas, said Hamas and the other Palestinian groups now had to make a choice, “either to accept the prisoners’ document as it is or to go to a referendum.”

“Both solutions are satisfactory and can get us out of the impasse,” he said. “All that the international community needs is there in this document and we think that they will accept it.”

Palestinian pollster Nader Said of Bir Zeit University in Ramallah said he expected the referendum to pass because most Palestinians support a two-state solution.

“I think it has a very good chance to pass, I think it will get high support,” he said, estimating it could pass by as much as two-thirds.

“I want to assure here, and make it clear for all parties, that the Palestinian government and the Palestinian people will not make any compromise that harms the Palestinian goals and rights,” he said.

Abbas has said that Hamas must moderate to regain international support for the Palestinian cause.

“The Arab countries are waiting for this realistic position, to work in harmony, to push the Palestinian cause ahead. They cannot do anything for the Palestinian cause if the (Palestinians) are rejecting everything,” he said.

Abbas said earlier that internal tensions were jeopardizing their people’s aspirations.

“This crisis, everyone is feeling the danger,” he said. “Our national plan is in jeopardy.”

The leaders of various Palestinian factions were meeting Thursday in Gaza and Ramallah to discuss agreement reportedly reached earlier between Hamas and Fatah, as well as the peace initiative proposed by imprisoned Palestinian leaders that approves the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.

Earlier Thursday, Palestinian sources reported that Hamas and Fatah have compromised on the main points of contention between the two organizations.

Hamas agreed to let Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas negotiate with Israel according to the principles of the PLO, although the Palestinians will vote in a referendum on any resulting agreement.

al-Jedida said that Hamas and Fatah agreed that Abbas would take charge of the PA’s finances in order to allow the international community to transfer international aid to the Palestinians.

Also on Thursday, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that the Palestinians would recognize Israel only after Israel withdraws from all Palestinian territory.

He further stated that until that happened, Palestinian resistance would not subside.

Referring to the United States, Haniyeh said that it was “giving a green light to the occup

ation.

“Resistance is the legal right of the Palestinian people and it will not cease until the end of the Israeli occupation,” Haniyeh told Al-Hayat.

Meanwhile, senior Fatah representative Muhammed Dahlan said that the movement would not be opposed to forming a unity government with Hamas.

“Fatah’s conditions of joining the coalition are the recognition of the Palestinian Liberation Organization by Hamas and its adoption of the Arab summit peace proposal,” Dahlan told Radio Monte Carlo.

Hamas Conveys Mixed Messages on Talks

Two top Hamas officials, the deputy prime minister and the deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, gave what seemed to be contradicting statements on Wednesday regarding the possibility of negotiations between Hamas and Israel.

Deputy PM of Hamas Nasser Shaer said that the Hamas-led Palestinian government was open to the idea of joining a national task force that would support negotiations with Israel.

“There is an idea among Palestinians to give [Palestinian Authority Chairman] Abu Mazen a chance, if it works why not?” said Shaer.

The proposal, which is due to be discussed this week by all Palestinian factions, represents a possible way out of a crippling international boycott of the Palestinian Authority.

Shaer said that if the proposal does not work, then “we will send a message to the whole world that the problem is not with the Palestinians but with the Israelis.”

Shaer added that Hamas could not accept the three conditions set by the international community for doing business with them, recognizing Israel, renouncing violence and accepting past peace agreements, but he said the new task force would support Abbas-led negotiations with Israel.

In contrast, deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau Moussa Abu Marzouk gave a different statement on the same day, saying that the organization had no immediate plans to negotiate with Israel.

“Hamas has not and will not negotiate (with Israel),” Marzouk told The Associated Press by telephone from Damascus.

However, he added that his group would not oppose talks between Israel and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

As I have written in numerous previous Blogs and Prophecy Updates, the offer of a Hudna (ceasefire) is the height of Isl amic tre

achery, and normally sought by Arabs only when they are in a precarious situation.

The precedent for a Hudna was established by the Prophet Muhammad himself, and is traditionally used to give time to the party offering it to regain strength to later destroy its opponent.

The Palestinian Arabs, through their elected representatives, have reduced their offer to Israel from full peace to temporary ceasefire in return for nothing less than a full Israeli withdrawal from Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem.

In an interview with the leftist Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said:

“If Israel withdraws to the 1967 borders, peace will prevail and we will implement a ceasefire [hudna] for many years.

Our government is prepared to maintain a long-term cease-fire with Israel.”

While some in the media leaped to interpret Haniyeh’s remarks as a moderating of Hamas’ position, the offer in fact does not violate the terror group’s commitment to Israel’ s ultimate demi

se. Ra ther, it leaves

the terror option on the table indefinitely.

Nor does it contradict Hamas’ devotion to the Islamic principle that any land once under Muslim rule must not be allowed to revert permanently to “infidel” rule.

Haniyeh’s proposal follows the precedent set in the ceasefire offer made by Islam’s prophet Mohammed to the Quraish tribe of Mecca, a truce that Mohammed promptly broke the moment he was strong enough to defeat his enemy.

Ha’aretz correspondent Danny Rubinstein wrote that Haniyeh expressed surprise over Israel’s forbidding its ministers to hold contacts with the Hamas regime.
