The Earth is Accelerating its Groaning Trembling in Travail!

The earth has been waiting for a very long time for the day when, on its surface, the children of God will stand to manifest his grace in glorified bodies.

Romans 8:18,19 – For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be comp

ared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [19] For the earnest expectation of the creature (ktisis – creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

1 John 3:2 – Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Ever since the fall of man the creation, which God made before man, has been trembling in groaning travail, awaiting the day when the saved will be restored completely to God on the final day of redemption, and stand on it in new glorified bodies. Before they are taken off the earth in advance of God’s vials of wrath, the groaning is to increase violently and, even in advance of that, the trembling was to show some increase in intensity to advise man the time of the Lord’s coming was drawing nigh.

Romans 8:21,22 – Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Luke 21:28 – And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I have written several blogs concerning the increase of seismic activity along the West Coast in the last several months, and I believe that this is the time of “some increase” that is likely to become increasingly intense at some point in time between 2008 and 2012. I admit that is a guess on my part as to the timing, but that it will eventually occur, of that I am certain.

On the e-mail notifications we send out, advising we have just put up a new blog on our www.tribulationperiod.com/ site, we often include attachments that show the increasing activity along the West Coast of the United States.

We do this because we cannot transmit diagrams and/or pictures on blog transmissions. There is such a diagram showing West Coast Earthquakes that relate to this blog on our notification e-mail. If you want to be added to our notification list let me know by sending an e-mail to tmcel@juno.com.

The article which follows discusses tremors as opposed to sudden jerks releasing quakes.

I believe these tremors are signs of a movement along the West Coast that precedes a massive readjustment of the entire subjection zone from California to Alaska and, I believe when the signs do bring forth the final act of tectonic adjustment, it will be massive and deadly.

Volcano-like tremors detected deep within Earth’s crust near San Andreas

Rumbles are attributed to plate shifts, not volcanic activity

Tremors within the Earth

are usually–but not always–related to the activity of a volcano.

Now, such vibrations have been recorded nowhere near a volcano, but at a geologic observatory at the San Andreas Fault. Scientists believe the fault tremors may be related to activity at a subduction zone–a place where one of Earth’s constantly moving tectonic plates slips beneath another.

To determine whether the San Andreas Fault is moving with the tremors, scientists with the San Andreas Fault Observatory at Depth (SAFOD) are installing instruments to measure the tremors’ activity. Located near Parkfield, Calif., SAFOD is part of the EarthScope Project, an effort to study the North American continent’s geology.

“Unlike the sharp jolt of an earthquake, tremors within Earth’s crust emerge slowly, rumbling for longer periods of time,” said Kaye Shedlock, program director for EarthScope at the National Science Foundation (NSF), which funds the project. “Although not in this case, tremors are usually produced by magma moving in cracks or other conduits beneath a volcano.”

The rumblings are the first recordings of non-volcanic tremors in a deep borehole, providing scientists with data to better understand such mysterious underground movements.

The results will help geologists understand whether the deeply buried rocks of the San Andreas Fault – which are derived from an ancient subduction zone – behave in a similar way to the rocks of the Cascadia Subduction Zone, still active today.

“In the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Pacific Northwest, for example, tremors are associated with the slow slip of the undersea Juan de Fuca tectonic plate as it submerges beneath the North American tectonic plate,” said Greg van der Vink, EarthScope facility project director.

I suspect one of the major purposes for this visit is to unite and coordinate the strengthening

of the Hizballah terror army in southern Lebanon in order to regain control over all of Lebanon. I believe it is a part of a long range Iranian-Syrian plan to prepare the way for a future well-coordinated Jihad against Israel by numerous Arab nations, with the initial attack being launched from the southern sections of Lebanon and Syria.

He is the Head of the Iranian Expediency Council.

The Iranian Expediency Council, mentioned in the following report from DEBKAfile, has the authority to mediate disputes between Parliament and the Council of Guardians, and serves as an advisory body to the Supreme Leader, making it one of the most powerful governing bodies in the country.

The day after the announcement of Iranian success in producing uranium enrichment, Tehran’s most adept diplomat, Expediency Council head Hashemi Rafsanjani, arrived in the Syrian capital Wednesday for four days of talks.

DEBKAfile’s sources report that after publicly declaring Iran’s nuclear aims were “purely peaceful”, Rafsanjani embarked on secret talks with Syrian leaders on ways of working together to raise war tensions in Iraq and the Lebanese-Israeli border. They describe Tehran’s motives as being to try and put the Americans on the spot of having to appeal to its clerical leaders for a key to a political solution and calm in Iraq. Israel is to be taught a lesson by being shown forcefully who controls Hizballah’s terrorist campaign and apprised of Tehran’s deepening grip on the Palestinians.

Iran seeks to drive home its ability to open yet another front against Israel. These demonstrations come in the wake of Iran’s failure to achieve the desired propaganda and deterrent effect sought by its large-scale military maneuvers earlier this month and the daily unveiling of purported new weaponry.

Yet another clandestinely procured piece of hardware is promised for next week.

A senior military source told DEBKAfile that Iran’s “striptease” – far from deterring the Americans has made them an intelligence gift of data on Iran’s arsenal and its weaknesses. The exhibits displayed thus far appear to be still in stages of development and nowhere near operational.

NO FUN, SEND SOME, YOUR SON!

The current plight of the Hamas Palestinian Government reminds me of the story of the rebellious son in college who sent his dad a telegram with the title of this Blog. His dad then sent the following reply.

TOO BAD, HOW SAD, YOUR DAD!

Lack of “funds” is the “fix” Hamas now seems to be experiencing in the lack of “fun” it is experiencing in trying to satisfy the Palestinians it governs with empty Islamic chants, rather than financial salaries paid for by the western free countries they hate.

This lack of foreign funding by the infidels they hate may lead to the long awaited hudna false peace in Israel.

Hamas needs our money to fight us and Israel.

They need the funds to defeat the “big devil” and “little devil,” the crusaders and the occupiers. TOO BAD, HOW SAD, RUN ADS!

Hamas Issues Call for Donations

Hamas issued on Thursday morning a call for donations to the organization’s dwindling coffers.

The organization has started running advertisement in the large Arab television networks and internet sites

in which “citizens of the Arab world” were being called upon to “help their Palestinian brothers to stop the intentions of the Zionists to strip the Palestinians of their legitimate rights.”

Donors were asked to send the money to a bank account in Cairo.

Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar will leave Gaza on Friday for a tour of five Arab countries in an effort to raise funds for his government. He will visit Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said on Thursday that the Palestinians would ask the internati

onal Quartet to prepare an international conference in order to renew negotiations in accordance with the Road Map.

Erekat noted that the Palestinians were willing to negotiate with any Israeli prime minister.

THE DYE IS CAST FOR THE WITHDRAWAL CONVERGENCE PLAN

The “Convergence Plan,” a continuation of the “Unilateral Withdrawal Plan” of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, is the clearly stated policy of the new government that is currently forming in the Knesset.

The dye is cast for the following events to be completed or occurring in 2008.

(1) West Bank & Gaza Security Fence will have been completed.

(2) Pullout of Israeli

settlements inside the Barrier will be underway.

(3) Pullout of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will follow settlement pullout.

(4) Barrier will be declared as final separation border after IDF pullout.

I believe all this is setting the stage for a well-coordinated Jihad attack against Israel from within its newly created internal barrier border and its existing external borders. The Palestinians will attack from within and nine other Arab nations

will attack through the external northern border with Syria and Lebanon.

I believe such an attack is likely to be perpetrated at some point in time between 2008 and 2012, but that is merely a guesstimate on my part.

I am thankful the Lord let me live long enough to see the ingredients of the final great conflict of the Age of the Gentiles coming

together. We can only guess when it will begin, but we can know it is not an event of the distant future, but an event that is “drawing nigh.”

Olmert: Convergence to be Finalized within 18 Months

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says he intends to finalize plans for a large pullout from parts of the West Bank within the next 18 months.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Olmert said the aim of his planned meeting with President Bush next month will be to secure international support for the pullout, including financial assistance.

“The State of Israel will change the face of the region,” Olmert said of his plan. “I will not miss this opportunity.”

Olmert rejected the possibility of sharing control of Jerusalem and its main holy sites with a future Palestinian state, though he left open the option that some Arab neighborhoods surrounding the capital could eventually fall under Palestinian sovereignty. “Dividing Jerusalem will not bring peace, only more fighting,” he said.

According to Olmert, the convergence plan is the only alternative to continued fighting. Physical separation from the Palestinians, he said, will reduce daily friction and violence.

Olmert reiterated that he doesn’t plan to hold a national referendum or other vote to seek additional legitimacy for the pullout. Last month’s election, he said, proved a majority of Israelis share his vision. He also said he is watching closely to see if Hamas moderates its view toward Israel. If that doesn’t happen, he said, Israel will act unilaterally. “I can’t wait forever,” he said.

BACKING HAMAS INTO A PERIOD OF HUDNA “QUIET” PEACE!

Before any attack by Islamic forces against Israel could be successful, there must be a period of mindset by the Israelis

believing a time of relative “peace and safety” is in place. The traditional teachings of Islam allow for a time of “hudna” with enemies in order to build up and consolidate your strength for a time when you will be able to overc

ome them. The ongoing action of cutting off sorely needed monies to the Palestinians now governed by Hamas, has placed Hamas between a rock and a hard place. The first two articles from the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs Daily Alert zero in on the penniless plight Hamas finds itself caught in trying to run a government for the first time in its existence. The last article from the same source sends a message to Hamas from Israel – If you want “quiet” from us, then you must made the missile launches from within your government’s territory go “quiet.” I think Hamas is getting the only kind of message to which they will respond – NO MONEY, NO FUN, NO “QUIET,” YOU’RE DONE! Eventually, I look for a hudna (truce) between Hamas and the Israelis. If Hamas doesn’t get in the good graces of the U.S. and the E.U, the Palestinian population will turn on them for lack of money, and Fatah will once again take over.

EU Suspends Aid to Palestinian Authority

Palestinians Fear Aid Cut-Off

Palestinian policeman Ibrahim Abu Hattab said that if Hamas cannot provide for the Palestinians, it has no business staying in power. “We want to live, with or without Hamas….If it gets worse, then we can just say farewell (to Hamas).” Amin Makhboul, a clerk with the Palestinian Interior Ministry in the West Bank city of Nablus, said he believes the Palestinian people will throw Hamas out of power if the situation deteriorates: “We will have a great mess without salaries….Hamas won’t be able to stay in power more than three or four months like this.” Until Hamas won parliament elections in January, the Palestinians used to receive nearly $1 billion in foreign aid.

Palestinian Rocket Damages Sensitive Israeli Facility

Israel was moved to act against rocket launching sites in Gaza after a

rocket that landed on a sensitive infrastructure facility caused damage totaling millions of shekels.

And it is only a matter of time before one lands on a kindergarten.

The Israeli bombardment of launch sites is intended to make it clear that Israel demands complete quiet from Gaza.
