As I indicated in the previous BLOG, any idea that a true peace could come now between the Jews and the Palestinians is a fairy tale.
A false peace will be forced on the Palestinians once the security barrier is in place around the West Bank, but as I indicated in Archive Prophecy Update 1 five years ago, it will be a controlled false peace maintained by force by Israel.
A true peace can only come to all the descendants of Abraham when “this man,” the Messiah, returns to bring it.
The peace of I Thessalonians will be a false peace, followed by a vicious Jihad from the north against Israel by Islamic nations. (See Archive Prophecy Updates 11A, 12, 66A, 67A, 101B, 102A, 120C, 122A, 123C and 136B for a full exposition of the coming false peace). “This man” of Micah 5:5 is the Messiah who will bring the true peace some three and one-half years after the Jihad attack.

I Thessalonians 5:3,4 – For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Micah 5:5 – And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
The following article from the DEBKAfile is precisely why I said in
the previous BLOG that every Palestinian house in the Gaza Strip would become a miniature arsenal of every conceivable type of weapon, and that the Egyptians would do little to stop the flow of weapons into the hands of the Palestinians. Many of these weapons will eventually make their way into the West Bank.
But after the security barrier is finished around the West Bank in late 2006 or early 2007, then retaliation by the Israelis will be vicious and effective, and a false peace will temporarily come into place.
