THE DAY OF REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NIGH FOR BELIEVERS

Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but EXHORTING one another: and SO MUCH THE MORE, as ye see THE DAY approaching.

Luke 21:11,25-28 – And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. [25] And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. [27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. [28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH.

Matthew 24:35 – Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Large earthquake felt across NZ

11:15 PM Tuesday Jul 3, 2012

A large earthquake has been felt across the North and South Islands tonight.

The 7.0 magnitude quake was centred 60 km south-west of Opunake at a depth of 230 kilometres, GNS Science said.

The earthquake was felt across the North Island from Taranaki to Bay of Plenty, down to Wellington and as far south as Canterbury.

The earthquake was heavily felt in Wellington city where many residents took to social media sites to report of a long, rumbling quake.

The Wellington Region Emergency Management Office has said there is no tsunami threat from tonight’s earthquake.

A Fire Service spokesman said there had been no reports of significant damage yet.

“It is at a depth of 257 kms [the initial depth given by GNS], which means we are pretty lucky at the moment.”

A small aftershock of magnitude 3.8 struck 15 km east of Christchurch just after 11pm.

End Excerpts from Different Sources

Micah 5:1 was prophesied some 700 plus years before the Judge of Israel was crucified.

IT WAS FULFILLED WHEN HE SAID ON THE CROSS: “IT IS FINISHED.”

Micah 5:1 – Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

“NOW GATHER THYSELF IN TROOPS, O DAUGHTER OF TROOPS:”

There are few cities on this planet that can compare with Israel on the number of times she has been conquered over and over again in history, many times being retaken by those troops once driven out. Truly, Jerusalem has earned the title of “Daughter of troops.” This Scripture speaks of a particular time in her long history, a day during the Feast of Passover, a day when three sets of troops were in the city. The Roman Governor, who ruled from Caesarea (Pontius Pilate) had, in order to put down any rebellion that might arise at this feast, brought his Roman troops to Jerusalem, and quartered them in the Fortress Antonia, which was attached to the northwestern corner of the Temple Mount, and from which troops could overlook all the Temple courtyards from its highest level. The King of Israel, Herod, had brought his troops with him for Passover, and they were quartered in Herod’s Fortress Palace on the western side of Jerusalem, where some of its base may be seen today. The High Priest was also allowed to maintain a small contingency of Jewish troops to protect him from harm, and they could be sent to arrest religious offenders. They were found around him at public assemblies.

“THEY SHALL SMITE THE JUDGE OF ISRAEL WITH A ROD UPON THE CHEEK.”

This prophecy of Micah was fulfilled during the last Passover Jesus attended. It was fulfilled from the time the first troops arrested him to take him to the High Priest until he was placed on the cross. During this time Jesus was exchanged back and forth between the High Priest, Herod, and Pontius Pilate. On these occasions he was beaten on the head above his neck many times with rods (reeds), and struck over and over again by the hands of the troops. You will find all this recorded in the latter chapters of the four Gospels. Jesus was sent by His Father to be the judge of Israel, but they rejected him as their judge, and judged him instead, finding him guilty of the false charge of blasphemy again God. The middle portion of this verse gives God the Father’s reaction to their rejection of His only begotten Son.

“HE HATH LAID SIEGE AGAINST US:”

Micah was an Israelite. So the “us” refers primarily to Israel. God has laid “siege” (judgment) against Israel for almost 2000 years because they rejected the one He sent to judge them. There has never been a race descended from one man (Jacob) that has ever passed through such persecution, unbelievable horror, and terrifying torture, as has been experienced by the nation of Israel, the most horrifying of all being experienced at the hands of the Nazi SS during WW2. The current siege is a constant threat of Radical Islamist terrorism by Hizbollah, the Islamic Jihad, Hamas, al Qaeda, Fatah and the ever growing power of the worldwide cunning Muslin Brotherhood.

ISRAEL DID NOT RESPOND TO GOD’S PROPHETIC EXHORTATION THE SEED WOULD COME FROM MOSES TO JOHN THE BAPTIST.

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Deuteronomy 18:15-19 – The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, LIKE UNTO ME: UNTO HIM YE SHALL HEARKEN: [16] According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. [17] And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. [18] I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. [19] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever WILL NOT HEARKEN UNTO MY WORDS WHICH HE SHALL SPEAK IN MY NAME, I WILL REQUIRE IT OF HIM.

Isaiah 40:3-5 – The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. [4] Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: [5] And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Matthew 3:1-3 – In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, [2] And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. [3] For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

God warned the Jews of Christ’s First Advent from Genesis to Matthew by the prophets, but they rejected him as Savior and King. Because they did not accept what God had written concerning their Messiah, they failed to know his first visitation as the one in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwelt.

Luke 19:34-44 – And they said, The Lord hath need of him. [35] And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. [36] And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. [37] And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; [38] Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. [39] And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. [40] And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. [41] And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, [42] Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. [43] For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, [44] And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; BECAUSE THOU KNEWEST NOT THE TIME OF THY VISITATION.

MANY BELIEVERS DON’T KNOW EVENTS PRECEDING CHRIST’S 2ND ADVENT AND THEIR REDEMPTIONS ARE DRAWING NIGH, BUT THEY HAVE STOPPED ASSEMBLING IN LOCAL CHURCHES TO WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, BELIEVING THE TRIBULATION PERIOD BEGINNING IS IN THE FAR DISTANT FUTURE

John 4:23,24 – But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Jude 1:3 – Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for THE faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Luke 18:7,8 – And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? [8] I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find (THE) faith on the earth?

“THE” is in the received text of the KJV, but was not translated.

II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for THAT DAY shall not come, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
