The negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians cannot produce a lasting true peace, but the Second Advent of Christ will produce a true Middle East peace for a thousand years. Many people are deeply concerned about a Middle East war and the final battle of Armageddon. I am not because I know who will arrive at His 2nd Advent to end Armageddon. However, I am deeply saddened by the fulfillment of the great falling away from the true faith I am now observing in churches across the world, even though I knew it had to come. I suppose it is like eating sweet and sour pork. The sour is watching the great falling away, while the sweet
is in knowing His 2nd advent is not too far away.
II Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
II Thessalonians 2:8 – And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Luke 21:27,28 – And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
[28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
The West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights, which Israel is willing to negotiate to the Palestinians, is part of the Land Grant God gave to the man Israel, the son of Isaac, and the Grandson of Isaac. The war over this land is not in the far distant future, it is on our very doorsteps. DO NOT FALL AWAY FROM “THE FAITH” OR BE DISCOURAGED FOR OUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NIGH.
SOON WE WILL SEE THE SAME LORD THE FIRST CHURCH SAW WHEN THEY WERE TROUBLED ON THE SEA OF GALILEE IN THE MIDST OF A MIGHTY WIND. WE ARE ENTERING INTO THE TROUBLING WINDS OF WORLD EVENTS THAT WILL LEAD TO THE FINAL WAR OF THIS AGE. IT IS NOT A TIME TO “FALL AWAY” – IT’S A TIME TO BE OF ‘GOOD CHEER’ AND TO STAND FIRM IN “THE FAITH!”
This is not a time to let our hearts become hardened, it is time to consider the miracle of the loaves. Our Savior performed this miracle of the loaves just before the First Church got into the boat. If they had applied what they had seen him just perform on land, they would not have been troubled, knowing he could deliver them on water also. He will also deliver us from the coming storm – Stand firm in the faith.
Mark 6:50-52 – For they all saw him, and were troubled.
And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
[51] And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered. [52] For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
IT IS TIME FOR BELIEVERS TO CONSIDER THE MIRACLE OF LOAVES!
Mark 6:34-50 – And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
[35] And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed: [36] Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. [37] He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? [38] He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. [39] And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. [40] And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. [41] And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. [42] And they did all eat, and were filled. [43] And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. [44] And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.
[45] And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. [46] And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray. [47] And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. [48] And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. [49] But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: [50] For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
“BE OF GOOD CHEER: IT IS I, BE NOT AFRAID” – Considering these 10 words and the miracle of the loaves has carried me through two wars, the NSA, raising 7 children, 700 plus revivals and prophecy conferences, countless hours of sitting on a weary tailbone in Colleges, Universities, Seminaries, and IHL’S, being Pastor of Dardanelle MBC for 36 years, criticism by the Brethren, and teaching in Public Schools, and it will get me through whatever lies ahead – TRY IT – IT WORKS – OUR GOD IS TRYING TO RAISE US – QUIT FEELING DEPRESSED AND SORRY FOR YOURSELF – LIFT UP YOUR HANDS TO HEAVEN, AND STEADY KNOCKING KNEES FEEBLE IN YOUR WALK OF FAITH – THIS IS NO TIME TO LOSE FAITH!
Hebrews 12:11-13 – Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
[12] Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; [13] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S LAND GRANT TO ISRAEL (JACOB) IS NOT A FAR DISTANT EVENT!
Genesis 15:18 – In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Ezekiel 47:17 – And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
Ezekiel 47:19 – And the south side southward,
from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
Genesis 28:10-19 – And Jacob (Israel) went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran. [11] And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. [12] And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. [13] And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; [14] And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. [16] And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. [17] And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
[18] And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. [19] And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at
the first.
Bethel “house of God” was a town about 10 miles N of Jerusalem, originally Luz (Gen 28:19). It was here that Abraham encamped (12:8; 13:3) in this beautiful pastureland. It received the name of Bethel, “house of God,” because of Jacob’s dream (28:10-22). Bethel was assigned to the Benjamites, but they did not possess it, and we find it taken by the children of Joseph (Judg 1:22-26). Apparently the Ark of the Covenant was brought here (Judg 20:26-28). It was one of the three places that Samuel chose in which to settle legal matters (1 Sam 7:16), and Jeroboam chose Bethel as one of the two places in which he set up golden calves (1 Kings 12:28-33). King Josiah removed all traces of idolatry and restored the true worship of Jehovah (2 Kings 23:15-20). Bethel was occupied by Jews returning from Babylon (Ezra 2:28 with Neh 11:31).

Hamas Militia’s Secret West Bank Stronghold

Just over a week ago at the Bani Nayim junction in the southern West Bank, four Israeli settlers were shot dead – their car riddled with bullets – in a drive-by attack by Hamas militants. The following day near Ramallah, two Israeli settlers were injured in a similar attack. Both attacks were carried out by Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades.
Wasfi Kabaha, a Hamas politician in the West Bank, says Hamas remains strong. “Hamas supporters are everywhere, in every town, in every village.” He said the crackdown by the Palestinian security services has only driven the al-Qassam Brigades underground.
Ronan Bergman, an Israeli expert on intelligence, says the efforts of the Palestinian Authority have made it much more difficult for Hamas militants to operate. However, if the peace talks progress, “I would expect further Hamas operations on the West Bank against settlers and even against the Palestinian Authority,” he says. (BBC News)
