The current policies of the Israeli government are going to end in the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:1,2 and Revelation 12:6.
Zechariah 14:1,2 – Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
[2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
The eternal policies of Israel’s God in her Messiah are going to end in the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:3-5.
Zechariah 14:3-5 – Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. [4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. [5] And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
The eternal policies of Israel’s Messiah after he arrives will result in the fulfillment of Zechariah 14:8,9 and Ezekiel 37:24-28.
Zechariah 14:8,9 – And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. [9] And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name
one.
Ezekiel 37:24-28 – And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. [25] And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. [26] Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. [27] My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
[28] And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Of all the Prime Ministers of Israel since 1973, I have had more respect for Netanyahu than any of them. He not only understands the followers of Allah, as have all the Prime Ministers of Israel, but he has the guts to apply what he understands in dealing with them, in spite of what the Gentile nations think of it. Israel is headed for a time of trouble in her homeland like she has never known. I am hopeful the office of Prime Minister will be filled by Binyamin Netanyahu when it comes on Israel. Olmert’s current administration is setting the stage for Jacob’s great trouble and Israel will need a strong leader to go through it.
Prime Minister Olmert was quick to point out that Netanyahu was in favor of the war being conducted, which is true, however, what he failed to say was that Netanyahu was not in favor of the way it was conducted.

Bibi’s Blog: Olmert’s undeserving government

Government spokespersons tell us that the situation is outstanding.
Is that so
?
In the north, Hizbullah is rearming at will. In the south, Hamas is launching thousands of rockets at our citizens and our cities. In the Southwest, the border between Gaza and Egypt is essentially breached. And the rest of the central systems in our daily lives, such as the educational system, are collapsing due to lack of vision and lack of deeds.
Is this the leadership in whose hands we must entrust our lives
?
Is this the leadership in which our soldiers must put faith in should a second round of fighting arise?
Is this the leadership that can demand from the Palestinians the minimal conditions required for a true and just peace?
Israel’s citizens sense that this leadership is preoccupied solely with its survival. They hear the collective sigh of relief from the Prime Minister’s Office; they hear
the celebrations and their hearts fill with anger and sorrow.
What happened to the guiding principles and the values that once led the country? Will this custom of lack of responsibility be what we raise our children with?
The prime minister’s people speak of a ‘continuous government’, but in essence they are referring to the continuity of Olmert’s rule – a rule of failure, inconsistency and irresponsibility that despairs the majority of the population.
And those who despair and those who are affected are not only the bereaved parents of soldiers who fell or of reserve soldiers who fought with courage and could be called to battle again.
We are talking about the masses of people from across the political spectrum who ask for good and responsible leadership for the State of Israel. And this leadership is attainable only through new elections.
David Ben-Gurion said: “Acknowledge every Hebrew mother who entrusted the life of her son in the hands of deserving commanders”. Now I say “Acknowledge every Hebrew mother who entrusted the lives of her sons and their commanders in the hands of a deserving leadership.”
Today, Israel’s citizens are saying to the prime minister, loud and clear:
You are undeserving.
You do not deserve to lead the State of Israel any further.
End of Jerusalem Post Excerpt
In a related article from the Jerusalem Post, in response to the Prime Minister’s speech, which was narrowly approved by the Knesset vote, 59 to 53, Netanyahu gave the following response:
In a rebuttal to Olmert’s speech, Netanyahu said that if the prime minister doesn’t resign, then former defense minister Amir Peretz and former chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz should be reinstated to their former posts.
Netanyahu said the Winograd report showed that the political echelon failed in its management of the war.
“The Second Lebanon War was a failure and the ultimate responsibility for this failure lies with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert,” Netanyahu said. The responsible parties, continued Netanyahu, “are the prime minister, the defense minister and the chief of staff.”
Regarding Olmert’s claim that he had to remain prime minister in order to fix the flaws reveled during the war, Netanyahu likened it to “giving the captain of the Titanic, if he would have survived, another ship to sail.”
Turning to Olmert, Netanyahu said: “You are not showing responsibility because you are not prepared to pay any price. On the contrary – you complain when someone even suggests that you need to pay any price.
You are delivering a lawyer’s speech, but unfortunately not the speech of a leader.
Netanyahu said that the Winograd committee’ s finding
s beg the question of what Olmert was doing during the war. “What did you do there? You didn’t decide on a strategy, you didn’t present a policy. So what were you doing there.”
Earlier in the session, Olmert was attacked by MKs from the left and the right for his decisions during the war and his refusal to resign in its wake.
Speaking to the Knesset earlier, MK Zehava Gal-On (Meretz) said “the peace camp is not a shelter for failed leaders,” calling on Olmert to resign.
“You won your war for survival, but Israel lost…you gambled on soldiers’ lives in order to achieve a semblance of victory. Mr. Prime Minister, the blood of our sons is crying out from the ground.”
