Final War of Gentile Age Is Looming after Obama Leaves Office

Part 5

All of God’s creation is groaning while waiting anxiously for the appearance of the sons of God, who also groan within themselves for the resurrection of their glorified bodies, in which God’s glory will be eternally manifested.

Romans 8:19-23 – For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our old body.

Tornadoes, Typhoons, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Pestilence, & Famine

Luke 21:11 – And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Tornadoes

November 17, 2013 Tornado Outbreak

Excerpt From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The November 17, 2013 tornado outbreak was the deadliest tornado outbreak during the month of November on record in the U.S. state of Illinois. It has resulted in many tornadoes across Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio with at least eight fatalities. Damaging straight-line winds were seen over a larger area including Iowa, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and New York. More than 390,000 lost power in Michigan, more than 160,000 in Indiana, more than 160,000 in Illinois and 37,000 in Missouri.  Non-tornadic deaths and injured include one killed in Jackson County, Michigan when a tree fell on a car, one critically injured after touching a downed wire in Detroit, and two minor injuries in a home damaged by wind in Ohio.

On November 16, a weak low pressure area formed over the central United States. It rapidly deepened over the upper Great Lakes the next day, and also encountered a very strong jet stream and a warm, humid air mass for the time of year. In turn, the Storm Prediction Center issued a moderate risk of severe weather for the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes regions for November 17. As confidence increased and the low deepened, the threat was upgraded to a high risk of severe weather for that same region, the second such issuance in 2013 and the first in the month of November since November 15, 2005.

As of November 18 there had been confirmed a total of 30 tornadoes.  The confirmed 30 included 4 EFO, 10 EFI, 11 EF2, 3 EF3, and 2 EF4.

Typhoons

November 17, 2013

It will be months before we know the true damage brought about by super typhoon Haiyan. The largest death tolls now associated with the storm are only estimates. Aid workers from across the world are now flying to the island nation, or they just recently arrived there. They—and Filipinos—will support survivors and start to rebuild.

But they will be helped by an incredible piece of technology, a worldwide, crowd-sourced humanitarian collaboration made possible by the Internet.

What is it? It’s a highly detailed map of the areas affected by super typhoon Haiyan, and it mostly didn’t exist three days ago, when the storm made landfall.

Since Saturday, more than 400 volunteers have made nearly three quarters of a million additions to a free, online map of areas in and around the Philippines. Those additions reflect the land before the storm, but they will help Red Cross workers and volunteers make critical decisions after it about where to send food, water, and supplies.

These things are easy to hyperbolize, but in the Philippines, now, it is highly likely that free mapping data and software—and the community that support them—will save lives.

Earthquakes

TIME OF MORE FREQUENT GREAT EARTHQUAKES IS REAL

A surge in Earthquakes 8.5 or greater began after Israel became a nation in 1948, and  a second surge began to accelerate outward around the great rim of the Pacific Ocean Tectonic Plate in 2004 beginning with the  great Indonesian Earthquakes and Tsunami.

How the Japan Quake moved the Earth on its Axis

Monday 14 March 2011

Experts have said the force of the earthquake in Japan shifted the earth’s axis by 25 centimetres and shortened the day by 1.8 microseconds – but what does this mean?

Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology has calculated that the earth’s axis moved by a quarter of a metre as a result of the devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan, the largest ever recorded in the country.

The US Geological Survey said the main island of Japan had moved 2.4 metres as a result of the quake. It also said hundreds of aftershocks have hit Japan since the main quake, at least two dozen of which have topped magnitude 6, the size of the Christchurch earthquake.

Japan: how dangerous are nuclear blasts?

The earthquake, which has had an appalling impact in Japan after causing a huge tsunami, is the fifth most powerful to hit the world in the past century.

It surpassed Japan’s biggest previous tremor, the Great Kanto Quake of 1923, which had a magnitude of 7.9 and killed more than 140,000 people in the Tokyo area.

Pestilence

Pestilence in Divers Places Here and There!

I issued the 2 following Archive Excerpt Paragraphs some 12 years ago regarding drug-resistant strains developing against infectious diseases.

Begin Quote

The World Health Organization (WHO) fears that tuberculosis may kill 30 million worldwide during the next decade. The emergence of drug-resistant strains is hampering efforts by health agencies to slow the renewed spread of the consumptive illness. Another sort of “loimos” is malaria, which is on the rise around the world, and once curative treatments are losing their effect. It is a pestilence of global dimensions, and new strains are evolving that scientists fear will be untreatable.

But what about all the microbes generating all this pestilence, this “loimos,” these deadly infectious disorders, what are they doing, how are they behaving? Are they doing something that will make the pestilences continue to act like a woman’s birth pangs through the tribulation period? Yes! A leading national magazine cover, back in the last century, carried the bold print title: “REVENGE OF THE KILLER MICROBES – ARE WE LOSING THE WAR AGAINST INFECTIOUS DISEASES?” Tuft’s Levy answered the question in Newsweek Magazine by stating: “The rise of drug-resistant germs is unparalleled in recorded biologic history.”

End Quote

Famine

The demographic impacts of famine are sharp. Mortality is concentrated among children and the elderly. A consistent demographic fact is that in all recorded famines, male mortality exceeds female, even in those populations (such as northern India and Pakistan) where there is a male longevity advantage during normal times. Reasons for this may include greater female resilience under the pressure of malnutrition, and possibly female’s naturally higher percentage of body fat. Famine is also accompanied by lower fertility. Famines therefore leave the reproductive core of a population—adult women—lesser affected compared to other population categories, and post-famine periods are often characterized a “rebound” with increased births. Even though the theories of Thomas Malthus would predict that famines reduce the size of the population commensurate with available food resources, in fact even the most severe famines have rarely dented population growth for more than a few years. The mortality in China in 1958–61, Bengal in 1943, and Ethiopia in 1983–85 was all made up by a growing population over just a few years. Of greater long-term demographic impact is emigration: Ireland was chiefly depopulated after the 1840s famines by waves of emigration.
