In a scenario straight from the Arabian Nights, Ali-Babba and the Forty Thieves met this week in Riyadh, and all the moderates bowed low to Syria and Iran, in order to maintain continuance as the rulers in their own countries, which is sometimes referred to as self-preservation.
If Syria and Iran were to win a war against Israel, the current rulers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan would be in trouble.
I suspect the three subdued kings of Daniel 7:24,25 will come from this list.
Daniel 7:24,25 – And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first,
and he shall subdue three kings.

The Time (I year) and Times (2 years) and the Dividing of Time (1/2 year) is equal to 3.5 years times 360 days per year, which is 1260 days, the number of days Israel will be blocked in the Negev Wilderness by the Antichrist.

DEBKAfile: Arab summit ending in Riyadh strengthens radical Iran and Syria and recognizes Palestinian Hamas

The conference ending Thursday, March 29, ended the isolation of the two Middle East governments backing anti-US fighting elements in Iraq, fomenting Hizballah’s war effort against Israel and aiding Palestinian terror.
The Arab front, portrayed by American and Israeli policy-makers as an effective “moderate” barrier against Iranian expansionism and nuclear aspirations, jumped aboard the radical b
andwagon.
A large Iranian delegation, led by foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki, was welcomed as honored guests by the Riyadh conference. None of the Arab rulers mentioned, let alone castigated, Tehran’s seizure of 15 British navy personnel five days earlier.
Saudi King Abdullah publicly buried the hatchet with Syrian president Bashar Assad and announced to general acclaim that the next Arab League summit would be held in Damascus. Syria’s misdeeds with regard to Lebanon were glossed over.
The Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, flanked by Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniyeh, demanded that Israel accept the resurrected Saudi “peace plan” as it is, or risk war.
He also called for an Arab panel led by Saudi Arabia to work with the Middle East Quartet on a solution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. No room was left for an active Israeli role in the take-it-or-leave-it “peace process.”
The end-product of the Arab summit of 2007 was the collapse of the so-called “moderate Arab front” on which the Bush administration and Olmert government had banked heavily.
The line emerging from the conference was strongly anti-American and anti-Israel.
Its host, Abdullah, publicly lambasted the US deployment in Iraq as “illegitimate foreign occupation.” The Saudi monarch also set up a meeting between the Iranian delegation and the two Palestinian leaders to explore Saudi-Iranian-Palestinian cooperation for reconstruction in the Palestinian Authority.
Thus did Iranian arming of Palestinian terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, including the governing Hamas, win the blessing of the “moderate” Saudi ruler and the Arab consensus.

The official position on a settlement with Israel has not changed since the birth of Hamas, and it is very simple –“There will be no settlement!”
Hamas is more than willing to work within the Islamic rules of war laid down by Muhammad in practice – Get your enemy to agree to a Hudna (truce) lasting long enough to build up your forces to destroy him, then break it and destroy him. Hamas is seeking a seven to ten year Hudna which, if agreed to by Israel, will give them a mindset of “Peace and security. But when this false peace is broken, it will be suddenly broken by ten Arab nations and all the terrorist groups they sponsor, and Israel will be driven south out of the land from Dan to Beersheba into the land of the Negev Wilderness from Beersheba to Eilat.

Islam provides the only solution to the conflict and until it is achieved, armed resistance will continue.
Engagement with Israel is a means not an end. There can be no compromise on the refugee question. The PLO, the Hamas leader declared, has no authority to represent the Palestinian people.
