Joshua 24:15,16 – And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, we will SERVE the Lord. [16] And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should FORSAKE the Lord, to SERVE other gods;
Hebrews 10:25 – Not FORSAKING the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, AS YE SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.

The word SERVANT is DOULOS – A BONDSERVANT
I Corinthians 7:23,24 – Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the SERVANTS of men. [24] Brethren, let every man, WHEREIN HE IS CALLED, THEREIN ABIDE WITH GOD.
Exodus 21:5,6 – And if THE SERVANT shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: [6] Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul (awl); AND HE SHALL SERVE HIM FOR EVER.
I Corinthians 6:20 – For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
I Thessalonians 3:12,13 – And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: [13] To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, AT THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH ALL HIS SAINTS.
Revelation 17:14 – These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are CALLED, and CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL.
Saved Eternally – Chosen to Serve – Abiding Faithfully to the End!
Philippians 2:13 – For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
(It is the Spirit of Jesus in the saved that makes them spiritually mighty as they yield in obedience to his Word which we call the Bible. Those who obey it are his bondservants who learn to love and willingly serve him in spirit and in truth. The mighty are found faithful at death to the Lord, and will be the servants living in the City of His Presence in both the Millennium and Heaven Age of his Eternal Reign. They will be in the first lines behind him in his Second Advent.)
Luke 8:8-16 – And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. [9] And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? [10] And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. [11] Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. [12] (Did not believe the word) Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.[13] (Saved, but were not chosen) They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. [14] (Saved, but were not chosen) And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. [15] (Saved, Chosen, and Faithful) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with PATIENCE, [16] No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. Revelation 22:3-5 – And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and HIS SERVANTS shall serve him: [4] And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. [5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and THEY SHALL REIGN for ever and ever.
