BLOG 4 ENDED WITH AN EXPOSITION OF DANIEL 11:39

Daniel 11:40 – And at THE TIME OF THE END the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

The king of the south represents the initial northern extension of the land division allotted to the Grecian General Ptolemy, which extended from Egypt all the way to what is the present border of Israel with Lebanon and Syria. General Ptolemy was the first king of the south, and the residents of what is now Israel were his subjects. Countless numbers of territorial wars have raged between the kings of the north and the kings of the south. Consequently, the land we know as Israel has been the battlefield between the two, and the kings of the north conquered Jerusalem many times from the time of General Ptolemy to the End of the reign of Syrian King of the North Antiochus Epiphanes and the Maccabean Kings of the South in Israel.

King of the north Antiochus Epiphanes’ IV penetrated south into the Kingdom of the south Ptolemy on four occasions between Daniel 11:21 and 35, but his reign was finished many years ago in the brief age of the Maccabeans. Antiochus Epiphanes was a prototype or type of Antichrist, but the final true Antichrist will soon arise.

The final king of the north is Antichrist. He will eventually rise in Greater Syria to lead a planned massive counter attack against Israel, the final king of the south.

The final Syrian king of the north will cunningly lay the trap into which he will lure the final Israeli king of the south to once again push north into Lebanon, as Israel has done several times in the past. However, this time he will lead Daniel’s 10 horns in a massive counterattack to trap, surround, and smash the IDF, then quickly turn south to drive into the shocked glorious land of Israel, which will only stop at Beersheba, where a UN truce will be accepted between Islam and Israel. He will then put Egypt in his crosshairs after bypassing the 600 BC nations of Ammon, Moab, and Edom, which today make up Jordan. Jordan will be overthrown internally by the Palestinians that now make up 80 percent of today’s population under Muslim Brotherhood Influence.

Daniel 11:41 – He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Daniel 11:41 – He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Eaau (Edom) was Jacob’s older brother. Esau was a propane person in God’s eye because he despised his inheritance, giving it up for a pot of lintels made by Jacob.

The Edomites are the people descended from Esau, the son of Isaac and Rebekah and the brother of Jacob (Genesis 25:19-34). Esau was nicknamed “Edom” (which means, “red”) probably because he had red hair

Esau eventually settled in the area of Mount Seir and absorbed a people known as the Horites (Genesis 36:8-43, which refers to Edomite rulers as dukes in the King James Version; Deuteronomy 2:12)

When Israel came out of Egypt and wanted to pass through the land of the Edomites to enter into the Promised Land, the Edomites wouldn’t let them (Numbers 20:14-21)

The Edomites opposed Saul and were conquered under David and Solomon (1 Samuel 14:47, 2 Samuel 8:14, 1 Kings 9:26)

In the days of King Jehoshaphat of Judah, Edom joined with Moab and Ammon to attack Judah, but the Lord fought for Judah and defeated them (2 Chronicles 20:1-27, the famous battle that was led with praise)

The Edomites successfully rebelled against King Jehoram of Judah (2 Kings 8:16-22)

King Amaziah of Judah brought them back under subjugation (2 Kings 14:9-11)

The Edomites again attacked Judah in the days of King Ahaz (2 Chronicles 28:17)

When God rips apart the Red Sea during the vials of his wrath, he will punish the land of Edom severely. The spreading fault on the Red Sea floor extends northward through the Jordan River valley into Lebanon. One side of it runs under the Bible city of Bozrah, which was the capital of Edom.

Obadiah 1,2 – The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. [2] Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

Jeremiah 49:17-22 – Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. [18] As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. [19] Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? [20] Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. [21] The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. [22] Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

After Daniel 11:41 Antichrist moves west across the northern Sinai to conquer the Suez Canal and Egypt.

Daniel 11:42,43 – He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. [43] But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

ElBaradei to become new Egyptian prime minister

AFP | Jul 6, 2013, 10.38 PM IST

CAIRO: Liberal opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei has been chosen as Egypt’s new prime minister, the Tamarod campaign behind the protests that toppled Islamist president Mohamed Morsi said on Saturday after talks with the country’s interim president.

A military source confirmed to AFP that the former UN nuclear watchdog chief was to be sworn in as premier later on Saturday, three days after the army overthrew Morsi.

The official MENA news agency said ElBaradei was in talks with interim leader Adly Mansour.

Tamarod had nominated ElBaradei to represent the movement in transition negotiations with the military.

ElBaradei, who won the Nobel peace prize in 2005 for his work with International Atomic Energy Agency, returned to Egypt in 2010 and became a prominent opponent of veteran strongman Hosni Mubarak in the lead-up to the 2011 uprising that overthrew him.

Mohamed Mustafa ElBaradei [mæˈħæmmæd mosˈtˤɑfɑ (ʔe)lbæˈɾædʕi]; born 17 June 1942) is an Egyptian law scholar and politician appointed as the Prime Minister of Egypt on 6 July 2013. He was the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), an intergovernmental organization under the auspices of the United Nations, from 1997 to 2009. He and the IAEA were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. ElBaradei was also an important figure in recent politics in his country, particularly the 2011 revolution which ousted President Hosni Mubarak, and in the 2013 revolution that deposed President Mohamed Morsi.

ElBaradei was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He was one of five children of Mostafa ElBaradei, an attorney who headed the Egyptian Bar Association and often found himself at odds with the government of President Gamal Abdel Nasser. ElBaradei’s father was also a supporter of democratic rights in Egypt, supporting a free press and an independent judiciary.[3]

ElBaradei is married to Aida El-Kachef, an early-childhood teacher. They have two children: a daughter, Laila, who is a lawyer living in London; and a son, Mostafa, who is an IT manager living in Cairo. They also have one granddaughter, Maya.[4]

A native speaker of Egyptian Arabic, ElBaradei is also fluent in English and French, and knows “enough German to get by, at least in Vienna.”[5]

Education and early career

ElBaradei earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Cairo in 1962, a master’s degree in international law at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, and a J.S.D.[6][7] in International Law at the New York University School of Law in 1974.

His diplomatic career began in 1964 in the Ministry of External Affairs, where he served in the Permanent Missions of Egypt to the United Nations in New York and in Geneva, in charge of political, legal, and arms-control issues. From 1974 to 1978, he was a special assistant to the foreign minister. In 1980, he became a senior fellow in charge of the International Law Program at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. From 1981 to 1987, he was also an adjunct professor of international law at the New York University School of Law.

In 1984, ElBaradei became a senior staff member of the IAEA Secretariat, serving as the agency’s legal adviser (1984 to 1993) and Assistant Director General for External Relations (1993 to 1997).

ElBaradei is currently a member of both the International Law Association and the American Society of International Law.

Public career as IAEA Director General (1997–2009)

ElBaradei began to serve as Director General of the IAEA, which is based in Vienna, on 1 December 1997, succeeding Hans Blix of Sweden.[8][9] He was re-elected for two more four-year terms in 2001 and in 2005. His third and last term ended in November 2009. ElBaradei’s tenure has been marked by high-profile, non-proliferation issues, which include the inspections in Iraq preceding the March 2003 invasion, and tensions over the nuclear program of Iran.
