Let God’s Song of Moses Stir Up His Church by His Rock in It – Part 3

LET GOD’S SONG OF MOSES STIR UP THE CHURCH BY HIS ROCK IN IT – PART 3

October 28, 2012

PART 1 – DEUTERONOMY 31:16 TO 32:5 WAS PUT UP ON OUR BLOG ISSUED ON OCTOBER 22, 2012. PART 2 WAS PUT UP ON OCTOBER 27, 2012.

IT WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR ADMONITION UPON WHOM THE ENDS OF THE OF THE WORLD ARE COME.

God stirred up Israel in Egypt and led her out of her nest through the Red Sea. At first they had no strange god, but that changed at Mt. Sinai and plagued them off and on until they rejected the Rock at Golgotha.

I Corinthians 10:4,11 – And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. [11] Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Deuteronomy 32:11,12 – As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: [12] So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

Deuteronomy 5:7 –Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

Christians have been plagued with the same spiritual weakness since Jesus introduced it to them., and many are falling away from it. They are making a TERRIBLE MISTAKE.

PART 3 – CONTINUES PARTS 1 & 2 – DEUTERONOMY 31;16 TO 32:11

GOD BEARS HIS SPIRITUAL OFFSPRING ON HIS EAGLE WINGS

FIRST HE CARRIED HIS LOCAL VISIBLE JACOB (ISRAEL) ASSEMBLY

NOW HE CARRIES HIS OWN LOCAL VISIBLE ASSEMBLIES (CHURCHES)

Moses prophesied to Israel in his song what God would do for her, what she would do toward him, and what he would do to her for her eventual rejection of him after he had blessed her with peace and prosperity.

THIS WAS MOSES PROPHECY MORE THAN 600 YEARS BEFORE JEREMIAH

Deuteronomy 32:11-14 – As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: [12] So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. [13] He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; [14] Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

THE PROPHETIC PROMISE IN MOSES’ SONG WAS FULFILLED BUT…….

Jeremiah 2:4-8 – Hear ye the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel: [5] Thus saith the Lord, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? [6] Neither said they, Where is the Lord that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? [7] And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. [8] The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

MOSES PROPHESIED ISRAEL WOULD FORSAKE HIS ROCK

Deuteronomy 32:15 – But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

AND IT WAS FULFILLED IN THE DAYS OF JEREMIAH

Jeremiah 2:9-13 – Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the Lord, and with your children’s children will I plead. [10] For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing. [11] Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. [12] Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. [13] For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Psalm 61:1-4 – Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. [2] From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. [3] For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. [4] I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
