Zechariah 12:1,2 – The burden of the word of
the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. [2] Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
The Tsunami described in the Jerusalem Post Article which follows our lead-in, when considered with all the perplexities now being observed all across the planet, leaves little doubt in my mind that the beginning of the tribulation period is not an event of the far distant future.
We are only as far away from Israel being driven into the Negev as it takes Islam to get ready politically and militarily to be able to do it.
My guess is that they will be ready to do it at some point in time between 2008 and 2012. I am only guessing, and that is my best estimate. It might take Islam longer than 2012, but I seriously doubt it. It really doesn’t matter to me, because I don’t expect to be physically alive by 2012.

38 killed in Tsunami on Indonesia’s Java Island

A two-meter high tsunami crashed into beach resorts and fishing villages along Indonesia’s Java island Monday, kill ing at least 38 people, leav
ing many missing and sending thousands fleeing to higher ground in terror, witnesses and officials said.
Regional agencies issued warnings that a 7.1-undersea quake was strong enough to send a killer wave steaming toward the country worst hit by the 2004 tsunami, but victims did not hear of them in time.
“All the houses are destroyed along the beach,” a woman who identified herself only as Teti told el-Shinta radio station. “Small hotels are completely destroyed and at least one restaurant was washed away.”
Rudi Bahro, a local lawmaker, told Metro TV at least 37 people were killed at Pangandaran and “the number is still going up.”
At least one other person died in Puring Bay, some 100 kilometers (60 miles) to the east, said district chief Rustriningsih, adding that another 19 were missing.
