I taught for years the False Prophet would be the Pope – I was wrong – A man who never changes his mind about prophetic things is not a man who got it all right the first time, but a man who thinks he has no need to keep studying because he already knows it all.
Daniel 12:4 – But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
The Bible was written by some 40 men over a 1500 to 1600 hundred period inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.
The Koran was written by Muhammad led by the Unholy Spirit of Antichrist more than 500 years after the last book of the New Testament was written.
Even in John’s day the spirit of Antichrist was in the world, and the false prophet Muhammad made it quite clear in the Koran that Jesus was not the Son of God, because Allah has no son.
I John 4:1,13-15 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [13] Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. [14] And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. [15] Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
I John 5:1,5 – Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him
that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
Muhammad was the greatest false prophet of all time, and will continue to hold that distinction until the Islamic false prophet “Isa” of Revelation 13 arises in the Middle East.
Revelation 13:11-15 – And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
[12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. [13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, [14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. [15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Following the death of Ali, the fourth Caliph leader of Islam, the Islamic community became split into the majority orthodox Sunni and the Shiites, who followed the line of Ali. The first Sunni Caliphate was the Umayyad dynasty, ruling from Damascus, which lasted until 750 AD. It had been a dynamic period of Islamic expansion.
Within a century of Muhammad’s death Islam had conquered more than half of Christendom. The relentless advance was finally halted in southern France by the Franks in 732 AD, after which Islam retreated southwest behind the Pyrenees to establish itself in Spain.
In 750 AD the Umayyad Kingdom extended across or into parts of what we know today as Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Saudi Arabia and all the small Arab States surrounding it, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
I do not believe the European area described in the Excerpt from MEMRI, which follows, will be conquered by Islam, but I do believe the Islamic Caliphate of the Antichrist will cover most of north Africa from Morocco to Singapore.
