The two members of the Evil Axis with borders on the west and east of Iraq are slipping terrorists and weapons across them on a daily basis.

Syria on Frontline in Defense of Islamic World: Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN — President Mahmud Ahmadinejad officially welcomed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad upon his arrival in Tehran on Sunday afternoon.
Ahmadinejad told reporters that Syria is on the frontline in the defense of the Islamic world.
He called Assad one of the youngest and most intelligent leaders of the Arab world and said, “I am happy that I hold my first meeting with one of the most devoted leaders of the Islamic and Arab worlds.”
The Iranian president said Tehran and Damascus enjoy deep and longstanding ties, adding that the great affinities the two countries share have strengthened this relationship.
Common threats and enemies have necessitated close ties between the two Muslim states, Ahamadinejad explained.
“Iran and Syria can play important roles in the region and in the Islamic world, and that is why we don’t see any limitations to this cooperation,” the president added.
This is Assad’s fourth visit to Iran since he took office in 2000. His last trip was in January 2004.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, the Syrian president plans to meet and hold talks with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Majlis Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, and Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani during his two-day stay.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said Assad had made the trip to congratulate Ahmadinejad on the beginning of his presidency.
Discussions will also be held on regional issues, including the issue of occupied Palestine and the expansion of political and economic ties, Asefi added.
The Syrian president’s trip to Iran comes a week after Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah paid a visit to Iran and held talks with the country’s officials.
For his part, Assad congratulated Ahmadinejad on winning the trust of the Iranian nation and said that his visit is taking place within the framework of diplomatic shuttles between Iran and Syria.
The Syrian president said that he would discuss a number of regional and international issues with the Iranian president, including the situation in Iraq, the international campaign against terrorism, and the situation in the Middle East.
Peace and stability in the region are important for Iran and Syria, and the negotiations with Iranian officials aim to find practical ways to improve the situation, the Syrian president added.
“Our national interests and principles are not separate from those of other regional states. We should reach a common view, as two states of the region, which serves the interests of all the other neighboring states,” Assad said.

The seals have been removed from the Iranian nuclear facility capacity to produce the elements necessary for the production of a nuclear bomb.
Of course, they promise these elements are going to be used in the noble cause of producing electrical power for the welfare of their people. They have been, and will continue to be successful, in continuing never ending negotiations with the European Union while they are developing their first nuclear warhead to mount on
their latest missile series, which can reach Israel and Europe.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we find the situation in Israel tracking down a path of “finish the security barrier/wall/fence and get the PA and its numerous terrorist groups enclosed within it.” This is going to happen regardless of who or which political party is in control of the Israel Knesset. But once it is accomplished, the Israel people will not want a wishy-washy party or leader in office. Ariel Sharon is certainly not wishy-washy, but he is too old, too tired, and too besieged to be that man. If Benjamin Netanyahu stays alive, I can think of no better leader to keep the terrorists confined within the barrier – He is the hawk of all hawks, and one of the few men in Israel who knows precisely how to deal with the terrorists.
For 30 years the Palestinians have said there would be peace in Israel if the Israelis would get out of the Gaza Strip and West Bank, and many of the leftist peaceniks believed them.
Now, Israel is doing what the PA said was necessary for peace, but the PA and terrorist groups are saying it is a great victory brought about by the spirit of Jihad terrorist attacks launched against Israel for the last 30 years, and it is making them cry out for more Jihad activity. As I have repeatedly stated, the withdrawal will being dancing in the streets across all Islam, and further fuel the volatile situation in the Middle East. The biblical false peace will only be in place once the terrorists are controlled inside the security barrier around the Gaza Strip and West Bank. And a strong unyielding leader must be the Prime Minister to maintain it by a zero tolerance policy. It will be a false peace maintained by a “you hit us outside the barrier, and we will hit you twice as hard inside the barrier.” Only this type of no nonsense, hard nosed approach, can made the terrorist groups stop the attacks in Israel, but even that will only create a false sense
of a peace with security for a short period of time. But worldwide public opinion will continue to worsen against Israel, and the nations of Islam will eventually unite to bring sudden destruction on Israel, with little more than diplomatic protests and airlift relief from
nations friendly to her. Israel will be contained in the Negev Wilderness War Contingency Zone for some three and one-half years before Messiah comes to deliver her.
