DEUTERONOMY 32:20-22 – And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. [21] They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
I covered Deuteronomy 32:20-22 in the previous Update. Deuteronomy 32:22-25 deals with the terrible suffering Israel has experienced since Messiah made their temple
mount spiritually desolate, plus the suffering they will experience during the final 1260 days of the age of the Gentiles. It was foretold it would happen to them by the one God sent to deliver them from their sins.
Matthew 23:30-35 – And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
[31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
[32] Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? [34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: [35] That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Israel’s punishment as a nation has indeed been as the Song of Moses described it would be.
The Nazi holocaust did not spare any of them based on age or sex.
DEUTERONOMY 32:22-25 – For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. [23] I will heap mischiefs upon them;
I will spend mine arrows upon them.
[24] They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. [25] The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
Their temple was made spiritual desolate by Jesus when they rejected him as Messiah, and physically desolate when the Roman Titus overran and the city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.!
Matthew 23:38 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Matthew 24:1,2 – And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things
? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And, as Messiah predicted, the city fell, the temple was leveled, and they were carried into captivity across the face of the earth,
Luke 21:24 – And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Messiah advised them of the horror that was going to come upon them, but he promised he would come again to them, not as a Lamb in a manger, who was sacrificed so that they might put their faith in his flesh and blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of their sins, but as the Lion of Judah.
He will come following a time of great trouble like the world has never seen, which I believe is likely to begin before 2015. The timing is OPINION, but that it will eventually happen is certain.
Matthew 23:38,39 – Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. [39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Luke 21:25-28 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
[27] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. [28] And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
There will be a remnant of believing Israelites among the one-third
of the population that makes it to
the Negev.
Revelation 12:17 – And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
