Daniel 11:40,l41 – And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. [41] He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
At some point in time, prior to 2015, Hizbullah will deliberately perform an act directed by Iran and Syria designed to cause the IDF to charge north into southern Lebanon, as Israel has done so often in the past. But on this future occasion Syria, Hizbullah, and Lebanese will be waiting for the Israelis to attack, and will launch a counterattack like a whirlwind from
the north, while Hamas attacks Israel from the southwest.
They will be quickly joined directly or logistically by Turkley, Iran, Morocco, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, and Iraq.
It is very important in today’s world that the Islamic nations be able to definitely show to the UN, the US, the EU and the Quartet that Israel is the aggressor. This will give all of them justification to stand back as observers and let Islam and Israel slug it our in a conventional war, which is exactly what Islamic forces desire, in that outnumber Israel more than 10 to 1. They do not want a nuclear war because of Israel’s 200 to 300 nuclear warheads, which gives them a huge advantage.

‘We will react to aggression’

Lebanese PM Suleiman says Lebanon, Hizbullah ready for any Israeli attack.
Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said Wednesday that the Lebanese army and militant organization Hezbollah is prepared to react to any “Israeli aggression.”
In an interview with Arabic-language newspaper ‘El-Watan’ which will be published Thursday, Suleiman said that “Israel is poised to attack at any moment, so any new military activity will not be taken lightly.”
In a talk with high school students in early March, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Israel is not looking for confrontations, and will not initiate attacks in the northern region.
Barak continued by saying that if we are forced into a confrontation, we will react, and we will “hold the government of Lebanon and all of Lebanon responsible for any Hizbullah attack, and we strongly advise them not to try and take action against us.”
While the IDF continues to have soldiers “train on a real model of what they can expect to see inside Gaza or Lebanon,” according to a senior Engineering Corps officer, the tactics are merely preparation, and do not insinuate any planned ‘aggression.’

Think Tank Speculates War Could Break Out with Syria
Nisan 27, 5770, 11 April 10 09:22
By Maayana Miskin
(Israelnationalnews.com) The increasingly open threats made by Syrian leaders and members of the Hizbullah terrorist group in Lebanon have led analyst David Schenker of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA) think tank to warn that
war may be on the horizon.
In addition, he noted, a future war could include Syria and not only its proxy Hizbullah: in February, Syrian leaders said Syria would not “sit idly by” in case of another war with Israel.
Hizbullah, for its part, declared open war on Israel following the 2008 assassination of senior Hizbullah terrorist Imad Mugniyeh.
While Israel has not claimed responsibility for the killing, Hizbullah leaders say they are certain that an Israeli agency was behind the operation.
According to Israeli estimates, Hizbullah has managed to not only recover from the hit it took during the 2006 Second Lebanon War, but has gathered an even greater number of rockets than it possessed prior to the war. Current estimates put Hizbullah’s arms supply at more than 40,000 missiles and rockets.
Syrian officials have spoken publicly about their support for Hizbullah, and have urged other Arab countries to support “the resistance” as well.
Another sign of Syria’s increasingly open hostility came in late February, when Assad invited Hizbullah head Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to dinner. At the meeting, Assad described support for anti-Israel terrorism, which he termed “resistance,” as “a moral and national duty in every nation” and talked with Ahmadinejad about “confronting Israeli terrorism.”
Schenker noted that Syria has some reasons to avoid war, such as its apparent desire to cultivate ties with the West. However, he said, Syria may not be able to avoid joining a war if Hizbullah attacks.
“After so much crowing about its support for Hizbullah and its regional ilk, could Syria sit out yet another fight?” he asked.
In a recent interview Syrian President Bashar Assad warned that “the state of ‘neither war nor peace’ is temporary,” and said that despite Israel’s growing military prowess, Israel is weaker than ever due to Arab “resistance.”

Is Syria Arming Hizbullah with New Missiles?
Josh Rogin
Are Syrian weapons flooding into Lebanon
? Informed administration sources said they were well aware of the rumors that unspecified amounts of a new type of weaponry are making their way over the border and into Hizbullah hands. Sources said the weapons were of a characteristic and range that could pose a risk to large swaths of Israel, not just to communities in the north.
A Senate leadership aide confirms that due to concerns about Syrian behavior, there is now at least one hold on the nomination of Robert Ford to become the first U.S. ambassador to Syria in more than four years.
Some congressional sources said there were multiple holds.
National Security Spokesman Mike Hammer said the administration is “increasingly concerned about the sophistication of the weaponry being transferred and have continued to reiterate our strong concerns to the Syrian and Lebanese authorities.” (Foreign Policy)

Missile Crisis Threatens War between Israel, Hizbullah
The Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper said that Syria has delivered Scud missiles to Hizbullah.
It quoted U.S. sources as saying that Israel has sent indirect warnings to Syria through Turkey and Qatar that it would “bomb Lebanese and Syrian targets in case the missiles crossed the border…and reached Hizbullah.” (Naharnet-Lebanon)
