The TIME OF The Great WORLDWIDE Earthquakes
When the Age of the Gentiles HURRIES to its Close
Is the greatest earth shaking since Adam Appeared
On its surface as dust made by God
into a living Man!
It is just around the immediate corner from Beginning,
I’m confident a shaking will abruptly begin before 2015,
And that IT will BEGIN in the Jordan River valley of Israel
By the occurrence of the 1st great Revelation Earthquake!

The Biblical great sudden worldwide acceleration of earthquakes is not far away. I indicated it was coming 35 years ago, and it is now on the immediate horizon.
Revelation 6:12-15 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. [15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Earth’s Groaning and Travailing Will Soon Accelerate!
I have been consistent from my first book to the last in the insistence that there would be an increase in natural disasters in advance of the tribulation period, and that the increase would show a massive acceleration across the earth following the first great earthquake found in Revelation 6:12, which begins the last 1260 days of the tribulation period.
Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
In my last book of the early eighties, “Tribulation Birth Pangs from the Bottomless Pit,” I titled chapter 1, “The Birth Pangs”, and began it as follows:
BEGIN QUOTE FROM CHAPTER 1
Romans 8:19,22 – For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Before the sons of God appear in glorious manifestation on the millennial earth, there is to be a groaning of God’s creation, and the earth will travail like a woman experiencing birth pangs. Birth pangs were occasionally felt in the earth’s crust by seismic shakings during the time of Paul’s writings, but Matthew indicated they would increase noticeably, even before the tribulation period, in a period of time identified as “the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:7,8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
END QUOTE FROM CHAPTER 1
Please allow me to continue discussing this acceleration of groaning by a crust that has been producing great groaning sounds for a very long time as its plates slid by one another to produce earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunami.
Romans 8:22 – For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
The word translated “creation” is “ktisis,” which means “all that which was created,” and, in this context, refers to all that God created, including the earth, all that is on it and in it.
The last massive groaning and travail in pain by earth occurred when man had reached such a state of utter degradation in ungodly immorality that God deemed it necessary to bring judgment on the human race, and he did it by using his creation, the earth, to bring it to pass.
God used his earth to destroy man who dwelt on it – He destroyed man with the earth.
Genesis 6:5,13 – And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I WILL DESTROY THEM WITH THE EARTH.
My comments on this verse, which I placed in “The Key of the Bottomless Pit,” more than 25 years ago, and the one which follows it, are quoted from an extract from the book as follows: (Begin Quote from Book)
“We are told repeatedly in the New Testament, “as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man.” Please recall the magnitude of this first great tribulation in which only eight people survived, the rest being destroyed by water. Please observe in verse 13 that God, not man, did the destroying (I will destroy); and please note it was not done with man’s help or technology (with the earth). God used his own natural creation to destroy sinful mankind with water. How did God being it to pass? The answer is found in Genesis 7:11,12.
Genesis 7:11,12 – In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep BROKEN UP, and the windows of heaven were opened. [12] And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
Most biblical references of today positively identify the “great deep” of verse 11 as the crustal surface of the earth that underlies the seas and oceans of the world. May I remind you that God created the crust of the earth long ago and is able to manipulate it as he pleases. Virtually all references identify “windows of heaven” as the atmosphere of the earth, which was also a previous creation of God. So God took two things he has already created and manipulated them to bring forth water from above and below to destroy sinful mankind.
In the approaching Great Tribulation Period, God will once again manipulate the crust and its atmosphere to bring forth not water, but rather fire from below and from above.
During the pages that follow, I will show that God intends to shake the earth to its geological foundations by his great power, and the results of that shaking will be the fulfillment of most of the destructive prophecies uttered by the revelator John and the Old Testament prophets concerning the last years of this age.” (End Quote from Book)
The soon coming tribulation period will see the greatest groaning and travail of the earth that has ever occurred since God placed man upon it.
Matthew 24:21 – For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Revelation 16:18 – And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
Romans 8:22,19 – For we know that the whole creation (ktisis) groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [19] For the earnest expectation of the creature (ktisis) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
The same Greek word, “ktisis” is used for “creation” and “creature.” In context it refers to all the things God created except man, and it is mankind that the rest of his creation is waiting to see manifested in glorified form, children of God in glorified bodies when Christ brings them back to earth at his Second Advent. The greatest massive groaning and travailing of the earth will occur during the last 1260 days of the tribulation period, which will be ended by the return of the saved to the earth at the Second Advent of Jesus. The massive local groaning and travailing of the earth’s crust that produced the tsunami in the East Indies is a forerunner of what we can expect on a worldwide basis during the great tribulation period. We have not yet entered into the tribulation period, but I do believe our entrance is just around the corner, not in the d
istant future.
The most important thing for a child of God is not to know WHEN it will occur, but to be ready now for its sudden arrival. A child of God should want to have great rewards with Christ at his Second Advent.
Revelation 16:15,16 – Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. [16] And he gat
hered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

The next earthquake – in Israel?
January 19, 2010
JOSH BEN-DAVID , THE JERUSALEM POST
As I look through my living room window over the city of Jerusalem, I cannot help but think about those poor Haitians thousands of miles away and their destroyed world.
I feel sorrow knowing that right now, as I write, there most likely are survivors trapped under the rubble with no way of escape, no way to communicate, no way to inform rescuers that they are alive.
Knowing the IDF Search and Rescue Unit, our soldiers are working tirelessly around the clock, refusing to sleep for fear that those few moments of rest would cost a victim his or her life.
But they can’t rescue everyone.
Manpower and equipment are limited, conditions are difficult and time is the enemy.
Yet it says in the Talmud that whoever saves a life saves an entire world. It is this value system that has driven Israel to send search and rescue missions to disaster-stricken nations in crisis such as Turkey, Greece, China, Argentina, Mexico, India, twice Kenya and now Haiti, incur large costs for funding such efforts and contribute our part to humanity.
One would assume then that Israel itself would surely be primed for a similar disaster, right? Well, not exactly.
It should be made clear that as far as emergency services for national disasters are concerned, Israel is quite prepared. It has the best trained, fastest mobilized search and rescue unit in the world, and foreign officers and soldiers from many different countries come here to train on our bases and learn our methods.
But emergency services are the last line of defense, the default option when all else fails. It is known that the best way to save lives and mitigate damage in the event of an earthquake is to prevent the buildings from collapsing in the first place. Faulty construction and lack of proper building codes are what cause tragic loss of life, not the earthquake itself. Had the buildings in Haiti been built to modern earthquake standards, there might be no need for search and rescue.
A PERFECT example of this can be seen in the contrast between the Haiti earthquake and the January 10 California quake just two days earlier.
Although the Haiti earthquake was stronger, weighing in at 7.0 on the Richter scale while Californians “only” experienced a 6.5, California did not suffer any fatalities, as compared to the estimated 200,000 in Haiti. The reason is that California has the most advanced earthquake building code in the world, whereas Haiti has none.
Israel’s earthquake safety building code (IC413) is very similar to that of California. The problem is that it only was created in 1975 and really only became standard practice
in 1980. That means that the majority of buildings built before 1980 are similar to those buildings in Haiti that crumbled to the ground.
The government is aware of the danger that an earthquake of large magnitude poses to the population. Based on information gathered by the Israel Geophysical Institute and a special task group of engineers, a scenario projecting a 7.5 magnitude earthquake was presented to lawmakers. According to the estimate, an earthquake of this magnitude in Israel would cause approximately 16,000 fatalities and 90,000 injuries, and 377,000 people would be evacuated from their homes.
In addition, the estimate foresees 10,000 fully collapsed buildings, 20,000 with heavy structural damage and more than 100,000 with minor to medium damage.
This of course is not considering the expected damage to the economy resulting from the destruction of infrastructure, public facilities, factories and commercial centers.
AS A response, the government initiated a nationwide program in 2005 called Tama 38 that offers tax and planning incentives to the private sector to reinforce buildings.
But today, five years later, the program has proven highly ineffective. A bureaucratic labyrinth of red tape and an insufficient incentives package have jammed the cogs of the program, leaving less than 15 buildings reinforced in the entire country.
The last serious earthquake to hit Israel was in 1927 and measured 6.2 on the Richter scale. Five hundred people were killed, a small number compared to the devastation that will occur as a result of modern Israel’s high population density. Moreover, the natural geophysical cycle produces a high-magnitude earthquake every 80 years on average, meaning that we are already overdue.
I hope that the government will learn from the terrible tragedy in Haiti and take more meaningful action to safeguard the citizens of Israel. It must, or the next search and rescue mission might be closer to home.
