Overwhelming Majority of Foreign Troops Out of Iraq in 2 Years!

The removal of foreign troops from Iraq will, of course, have a major effect on the behavior of all the nations touching Iraqi borders. I do not believe it is possible for Iraq to sustain a democratic government made up of Shiites, Kurds, and Sunnis, no matter how well the Iraqi army has been trained to defend the country. I believe Iraq will quickly become a willing highway for terrorist traffic and active participation with Iran and Syria, shortly after foreign troops pull out.
I have said repeatedly that I expect a Jihad to be launched aga inst Israel from the north at some po
int in time from 2007 to 2012, and I believe Iraq will be a part of a 10 Arab nation attack.
And I continue to maintain that the most likely grouping for the 10 Arab nations, to be affiliated with the attack from outside Israel’s borders, are Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, French Morocco, and Sudan, with the new Palestinian state attacking from within the Israeli border.
According to the statements made by the chairman of a high-level group in Iraq, the overwhelming majority of foreign troops will be out of Iraq in two years. This was reported by DEXTER FILKINS, New York Times, in the extract from his article, which follows.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The chairman of a high-level group planning the transfer of security responsibilities from American to Iraqi troops said the number of American and other foreign soldiers would fall below 100,000 by year’s end and that the overwhelming majority would be out in two years.
The statements by Mowaffak al-Rubaie, Iraq’s national security adviser and the chairman of a joint Iraqi-American committee planning the transfer, give the strongest indication yet that the Bush administration is preparing to carry out significant reductions in American forces this year.
There are about 160,000 foreign troops in Iraq, about 140,000 of them American. The rest are from Britain, Italy, Poland and a number of other countries.
