Affects of Three Seal Riders and Beasts on Earth
Revelation 6:3-8 – And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. [5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.
And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
[6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
[7] And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the
fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Some seem to have the impression that these three riders pass their individual judgments on the earth, with each one departing the scene when the next one shows up, and then the last one, the pale horse rider death, departs the scene as soon as the fifth seal opens.
I don’t know where the idea came from, but I am convinced th at these three riders are going to be galloping until the end of the last 1260 days of the tribul
ation, and will be striding at their greatest pace at Armageddon. The red horse pictures bloodshed, the black horse represents famine, and the pale horse
represents death. These three phenomena will be experiencing their peak occurrences during the final great battle of Armageddon. The “them” in verse eight refers specifically to the rider on the red horse (death by weapon of war), the rider on the black horse (death by hunger), and the rider on the pale horse (death by pestilence). By the close of the tribulation period they will have killed billions across one-fourth of the earth (the known world in John’s day). The word translated as “earth” is “ges,” and it does not mean population, it means “earth.” Many writers try to make this a fourth of the world populous, but that cannot be the case, because “ges” never means population.
The final feast of wildlife and demonic beasts on the slain bodies will reach its maximum at Armageddon.
Ezekiel 39:4 – Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
Revelation 19:17,18 – And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; [18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains,
and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Isaiah 66:15,16 – For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and
with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. [16] For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.
The three riders are still going strong at Armageddon.

Following are excerpts from an audio recording titled (in English) “The Beginning of the End,” by Abu Mansour Al-Amriki (“The American”), an Americ
an commander in the Al-Qaeda-linked group Shabab Al-Mujahideen. The recording, which is in English, was posted on the Internet on July 9, 2009.
In the recording, Abu Mansour responds to U.S. President Barack Obama’s Cairo speech last month, telling Obama that “we cannot and shall not extend our hand – rather we shall extend to you our swords”; hr states that Obama is “only changing his strategy from a short-term win to a long-term victory” and underlines that “one major miscalculation that has come from Obama and his tens of speech writers is their assumptions about the goals and aspirations of Muslims – a Muslim doesn’t look to peace, security, education, work, or the love of any other number of things as his ultimate goals. Instead, a Muslim is always working and striving to please the one true Creator.”
Abu Mansour also states: “Glad tidings to the mujahideen all over the world, that they are the reason for this apologetic speech of Obama. The very existence of the mujahideen… is the reason that Obama is living in fear across seas.” He adds, “As you have presented to us a new beginning, we reply by saying that by the permission of Allah, this beginning is, at best, the beginning of the end – the end of the tyranny and oppression so common to America.”
