GOD’S 1ST ADVENT VISIT WAS IN A MANGER ENDING AT HIS ASCENSION
GOD IS MINDFUL OF MAN AND IN LOVE KEEPS
VISITING HIS CREATION
HIS NEXT VISIT IS NOT ONE YOU SHOULD FEAR, IT IS ONE OF REUNION!
Hebrews 2:5,6 – For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
[6] But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou VISITEST him?
GOD’S FIRST VISIT TO EARTH WAS TO CREATE MAN IN THE IMAGE HE WOULD ONE DAY TAKE ON HIMSELF IN THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST!
Genesis 1:26 – And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
BUT MAN LOST HIS RIGHT TO REIGN WHEN HE CHOSE TO OBEY SATAN,
BUT WE SEE JESUS WHO BOUGHT BACK OUR RIGHT TO BE REUNITED WITH GOD BY HIS SACRIFICE AND TO RESTORE
OUR INHERITNCE.
Hebrews 2:7-9–THOU MADEST HIM A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS;
thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: [8] Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet.
For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put
under him. BUT NOW WE SEE NOT YET ALL THINGS PUT UNDER HIM.
[9] BUT WE SEE JESUS, WHO WAS MADE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he BY THE GRACE OF GOD should taste death for every man.
II Corinthians 5:17-21 – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. [18] And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
[20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. [21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
II Corinthians 9:15 – Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
John 3:16-18 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:36 – He that believeth on the Son HATH everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not SEE life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Romans 10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:13 – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
THE GIFT IS THE ABILITY GOD GIVES THE INDIVIDUAL TO HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE HE WILL HEAR AND SAVE BY THE SALVATION IN THE NAME OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON – THAT IS THE AMAZING GRACE OF GOD! TODAY MANY STILL STUMBLE OVER HIM, BELIEVING THAT MORE IS REQUIRED FOR GOD TO SAVE THE SOUL. GOOD WORKS DO NOT SAVE THE SOUL NOR DO THEY ADD TO WHAT JESUS DID TO SAVE IT. THEY ARE TO LET MEN SEE CHRIST’S SPIRIT AT WORK IN YOU AND TO DETERMINE THE DEGREE OF REWARDS AT HIS JUDGMENT SEAT.
Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 4:1-8 – What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? [2] For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. [3] For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
[4] Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but
of debt.
[5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. [6] Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, [7] Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities
are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. [8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Ephesians 2:8-10 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
[10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
I Peter 2:12 – Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: THAT, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, THEY MAY BY YOUR GOOD WORKS, which
they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Revelation 11:15,18 – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
GOD’S 1ST ADVENT VISIT WAS IN A MANGER ENDING AT HIS ASCENSION
Luke 19:41-44 – And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, [42] Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
[43]For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, [44] And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; BECAUSE THOU KNEWEST NO THE TIME OF THY VISITATION.
GOD’S 2ND ADVENT VISIT WILL BE WHEN HE COMES WITH THE SAINTS AND IT WILL LAST ON THE PRESENT EARTH FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!
I Peter 2:12 – Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, THEY MAY BY YOUR GOOD WORKS, which THEY SHALL BEHOLD, GLORIFY GOD IN THE DAY OF VISITATION.
Jude 1:14 – And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Revelation 20:4 – And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
I John 3:2 – Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
