Isaiah 29:6 – Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
After all these years of waiting for the scenario, which would place the beginning of the final war of this age, such that I could be sure the final war of the Age of the Gentiles was on the near horizon, the time has finally come. The election of Obama, and the zeal for Middle East peace, is now producing the cry of “Peace and safety” in Israel like never before, but the peace that comes will be “short” and “false.”
I am confident that the probability of the last major war of the Church Age is quite likely to “suddenly” begin between Israel and Islam at some point in time between 2010 and 2015. The following two excerpts speak for themselves.

PA to advertise Arab peace plan

The Palestinians are reaching out to the Israeli public to drum up support for a land-for-peace plan backed by the Arab world.
The government of Palest inian President Mahmoud Abbas plans to publish full-page ads
in the three major Israeli dailies in Hebrew on Thursday.
The ads will reprint the peace plan which offers Israel recognition by the Arab world in exchange for a withdrawal from the territories it captured in the Six-Day-War.
The Arab peace initiative was first adopted six years ago. Israel has not accepted it.
However, there has been renewed interest in the idea in Israel.
Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said the advertising campaign marks the first time the Palestinian government had reached out to the Israeli public in such a way.

Obama to Abbas: I’ll support peace talks

US president-elect Barack Obama on Tuesday spoke on the phone with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, and pledged that his administration would back the peace process with Israel, a senior Palestinian negotiator said.
In a statement sent to reporters, Saeb Erekat said that during the conversation Obama expressed support for the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
“Obama promised that he’ll continue efforts to push the peace process forward in order to arrive at a two state solution,” Erekat said. “He said he will work with both the Palestinians and the Israelis to achieve peace, which is in the interest of both parties.”
Erekat said that Obama’s remarks showed his determination to help reach a permanent status agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.
Abbas was one of five world leaders Obama called on Tuesday as he continued to respond to the congratulatory calls from dignitaries around the globe that poured in after his election two weeks ago.
One such call placed to Obama was from Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who on November 7 discussed a variety of issues with the president elect, including
the peace talks.
The two leaders reportedly stressed the importance of the ongoing negotiations and agreed that any final status agreement must take into account Israel’s security needs.
